Ready for A Slow Dance w/ A Stranger(Kate)

[Adrian]

"I, but... ahhh.... grrrrr...."

Adrian growled at her, and leaned into her shoulder again, massaging her neck with his lips, occasionally using his lips to nibble at her a little. Would she end up with a hickey? In all honesty, probably not. Adrian was pretty skilled at this, and knew just how far he could go before a mark would show. He even made adjustments for her pale skin, knowing a mark would show up much earlier than darker-toned girls.

As he did this, however, Adrian continued to play the game, keeping one eye on the action. It was difficult, and so, he put much more of his attention on the girl's neck. For one thing, he was playing a Boomer, their best bet was a suicide Boom anyway, and more importantly than that, he was much more interested at the end of the day in making Kate feel amazing than winning some little video game.

And so, he ran headfirst into two of her friends, getting blown to pieces by a shotgun and spewing Boom all over them as his countdown started again.

"Maybe you should consider it," Adrian purred into her ear, referencing her not allowing him to stop, as he put his arms around her, kissing the front of her neck, her lips, and her cheekbone nearest him.

His arms would reach around the girl, and hold his remote in front of her so he could play the game while playing with Kate at the same time. Too bad she didn't have a headset on, it'd be quite amusing for her Xbox Live friends to hear what was going on at the McHallin suite.

[Kate]

Kate was very glad that she didn't have her xbox headset on. That would have been weird and awkward in all sorts of ways for her friends. The blonde was trying very hard to concentrate on what was going on... but when his lips were on her... FUCK.

Hunter pounced again... and this time no one was around to help her. She was going to die anyways... so... Kate chucked the controller down on the lush carpet and turned to him. Sitting side by side, so close. She leaned in and kissed him, hands on the sides of his face.

Good ole fashioned make out on the couch! She bit down on his bottom lip in the process, probably a little harder than she should have. Why? Because she was getting too excited about all of this to be honest.... She pulled back while taking a deep breath and smiled at Adrian. It was a good thing she was sitting on the couch, because she was weak in the knees again.

"Adrian..."

That was all she could say... his name. What the fuck was he doing to her?!?! Stirring up emotions she wanted to stay forever hidden... but... aw fuck it all.

[Adrian]

Kate was leapt upon by a hunter, and when she turned to Adrian to kiss him, Adrian would, rather inadvertantly, do something similar. As she kissed him, the boy would lean into her, and as she laid back, Adrian would then be on top of her, but instead of savagely ripping her guts out (Thank God), he would be kissing her passionately, savoring those hard little bites she made on his lip, and, getting the idea, decided to add in a few soft ones of his own. Even despite the fact that the girl had punched his lights out only a few days ago, he still always made sure to have at least one foot on the gentle side, metaphorically speaking.

Adrian's character would respawn, but he wouldn't even notice. He was too busy kissing Kate, his lips playing over hers with as much desire as she was giving him. When their kissing session broke, even if only for a moment, she looked up into his eyes, and whispered his name.

~"Adrian...."~

Adrian would smile, a fully-formed one that showed off his perfect teeth, and lean in and kiss her once again, a soft, slow one, and broke it almost hesitantly, his lips pulling her lower one up just a bit before he broke it.

"Yeah, Kate...?" God, this girl did something to him. He could only just sit there, smiling down at her like he was high. Of course, it was likely he was, the feeling Kate gave him certainly made him feel giddier than Adrian was pretty sure he'd EVER felt.

[Kate]

Kate looked up at him, her silvery hair pooling around her face. She had no words to say right then. The last kiss, it was like someone KOing her in one hit. The final blow, and Kate was just at a loss for words. So she just smiled, just smiled right up at him. But then an idea did come to mind... even if it wasn't anything naughty or silly.


"Hold me..."

Yeah, Kate was asking to be held. He was kind of holding her... but Kate wanted to be held. Tightly, to feel safe again. Kate loved it when Adrian did that... even if she was the stronger one. Funny, they had spent maybe an hour together before... and now this afternoon. But she hadn't felt this close to anyone since... Damien. Maybe even Vale. But no one since in a few years.

"Please?"

Could he resist? She wasn't exactly commanding him around. Kate had kind of forgotten about slave/master during the last bout of kissing.

[Adrian]

Adrian wouldn't say anything. He looked into Kate's eyes, smiling down at her. Soundlessly, without a word, he would accept her request whole-heartedly, his hands reaching around her back, lifting her up from laying on the couch. He would scooch backwards on the couch as he did so, leaning back up against the armrest and the couch's back as he maneuvered Kate to sit up upon his lap, both legs over top of his own as if he were Santa Claus. His arms would wrap tightly around her, and his head would lean forward to rest against her chest.

He would just rest like that, not saying a word. In his eyes, nothing needed to be said. For the first time, Adrian, with his head on her chest, could feel her heart beating during one of her little episodes. It sounded like it was about to pound right out of her chest. His hand came up, running through her hair and back down her back softly, before squeezing her a little tighter, letting out a rather uncharacteristic contended sigh. He smiled and closed his eyes as he rested his head against her chest.

Video games were fun, but this... this was nice.

[Kate]

It was funny how a good pair of arms wrapped around you made the world of difference. She relaxed fully, and curled up. Her own arms around him as his were around her. Enjoying the warmth and life that Adrian presented, even as undead screams and bullets roaring went through her nice stereo system. Yes, much better than video games.

"Hmmmm, yummy. You know... you're really warm. It's nice."

Kate had to admit that his skin felt warm, so warm. Warmer than anyone she had touched before. There was something her mother use to say. Not her step-mother, but her mother had said. That when you... fell for someone... when you cared about someone, they felt warmer than other people because of the connection between the two of you. Something like that... it had been years since her real mother, Kelly, had died on the sidewalk next to Kate.

[Adrian]

It was kind of a strange scene, really. Moans of zombies, nasty sounding Boomer belches, and bullets and other assorted gunfire and explosions rocketing around the home thanks to Kate's expensive surround-sound system, and in the midst of it all, two young people, wrapped in each other's arms, eyes closed and simply enjoying the feel of the other in their grasp.

She called him warm, and Adrian replied first by nuzzling into her a little more, smiling almost like a child.

"I'll be your personal space heater," he said softly, laughing somewhat to himself. This feeling he had, with the girl wrapped up in his arms, was akin to nothing he had felt before. Adrian had been raised coldly, and grew up to know only coldness. Sure, his parents were around, but they were more interested in grooming him to be a successful heir to their business and fortunes rather than being loving parents. Adrian didn't take any personal issues to this, but, even so, having Kate in his arms now was almost like a slap in the face to the way he had been raised. Her warmth alone seemed to supercede all of his usually pent-up coldness and aloofness. It was like, sitting here, with their arms around each other, Adrian could feel himself changing already.

Huh. He nuzzled her again, looking up long enough to plant a quick kiss on the front of her neck before leaning into her again.

[Kate]

Those emerald eyes looked up at the wall, to where a clock hung. It was getting close to opening time. Kate moved his hands away and grinned. She got to her feet, and leaned down to plant a kiss first on his forehead, then on his nose, and followed with one soft and sweet on his lips. If he didn't know warmth, then he'd get schooled.

"Come on, let's get ready for dinner darling..."

Kate would then trot off to retrieve her dress. Into her bedroom, then to the balcony where she picked her dress up and pulled it back onto her frame. Then she walked into her bedroom and pulled on some white heels with encrusted diamonds on the heel and toes. Then she put on a matching bracelet and earrings.... wearing a small fortune in diamonds.

After grabbing a clutch that matched, Kate returned to the front room. She smiled at Adrian coyly, full lips twisting.

"Ready when you are!"

[Adrian]

Kate planted a few kisses on the boy, and then got up and decided it was time for their real dinner. To this, Adrian couldn't object. He was still hungry after his sammich, and the idea of a fresh-cooked steak just sounded fantastic. Kate went back to her room, and Adrian followed. She grabbed her dress, and Adrian ran to her closet to get his clothes. While in there, he grabbed his cell phone, and punched a rapid succession of buttons. Afterwards, he would come back out again, wearing his black tanktop, realizing that he left his shirt in the hot tub room.

"Hey, Kate, wait up a bit, I need to get my shirt."

He went to the hot tub room not particularly quickly, biding some time. As he went, he saw another large, well-dressed man looking out a window. He didn't know his name, but he waved genially. The big guy just stared at him, revealing no personal feelings about him from his looks alone. Adrian shrugged, and walked into the hot tub room, slipping on his shirt. He came back into Kate's room, where she, as usual, looked absolutely stunning decked out in white and diamonds.

"God, you're a knockout," he said, throwing out a quick compliment as he saw her. He grinned, but his look faded as he looked down at his feet. He remembered at that time that he'd worn dress shoes here, and there was no way in hell he was going to just wear swim trunks and dress shoes in public, that would just be tacky.

"Hmm, Kate? Unless you've got a pair of men's flip-flops or something similar in my size kicking around, I'm gonna have to change back into my pants. Gimme a sec."

And so, unless Kate would interject with a suggestion, he would go back into the closet, shutting the door behind him to change back into his outfit of previous. He'd take his time with that, too. Moments later, he'd step out again, actually having brushed his hair quickly with the help of the full-length mirror in the closet.

"Alright, then, if you direct, I'll drive."

[Kate]

Kate in fact, did not have men's flip flops anywhere around the penthouse. He sure as hell took way longer than herself getting ready for the dinner. Kate sat there, waiting. Waiting, waiting, waiting. Were all rich men this fussy or something? When he came out Kate would grin at him, one eyebrow lifted.

"Take a left out of the lot, four blocks down, another left two more blocks and it's on the right."

Simple enough directions, right? The moment he was beside her she'd slip an arm in the crook of his arm. Like a proper couple. They'd ride down the elevator and out to his pretty car.

[Adrian]

Adrian grinned madly as she took his arm, honestly looking a bit strange. He held his arm steadily as she took it, feeling like a real gentleman, like he always tried to in the presence of a lady. When they got to the car, Adrian looked at it rather strangely, as if he were trying to see something. Finally, the couple reached the car, that ever-so-inviting Bugatti Veyron that no human really should ever realistically own, and Adrian opened the door for her.

A single white rose would fall out of the car. If Kate looked, she would see a pile of them taking up almost the entirety of the back of the two-seater. Adrian, meanwhile, would be grinning like a kid at Christmas.

"Well, you said you liked white roses..."

He would wait at her door until she stepped inside and got herself situated, and then go around to his own side. He hopped in, and put the key in the ignition. Turning to look at her, he smirked.

"I've got the directions, so that shouldn't be a problem. I only have one question... you like to go slow... or fast?"

[Kate]

The door opened, and something fell. Kate crouched down and picked it up, not even registering what it was until her fingertips touched it. A white rose, long stemmed, pristine, perfect, real, without thorns... When she looked up into the extremely fancy car... there were tons of them. Filling the back of the car. She slid into the passenger seat and smiled. Plucked two from the masses and shut the door.

"Take it as slow or fast as you please Adrian, I'm rather... adaptable."

Flirting in seemingly innocent words. She grinned right back at him, and broke the stems of the roses. Then she slid the first into his front shirt pocket. The other she tucked behind an ear. Kate buckled in, and leaned over. Planting a kiss on his cheek... and then another on his ear.

"Thank you Adrian. They're wonderful."

[Adrian]

Adrian smiled as she put a rose into his pocket, and closed his eyes as she kissed his cheek, and, finally, gave a little happy shudder when she kissed his ear. "You're quite welcome, love. I thought you'd like the surprise. Next time I take outrageously long to get ready for something, you'll know why."

He turned to her and grinned, putting the Bugatti into gear and taking off. Now this car didn't get its 2 million dollar price tag just for being pretty, one should note. Bugatti makes the fastest sports cars on the market. So when Kate said she had no preference, Adrian decided to go fast. And his car, fast was fast.

Within minutes, they were at the Outback, a little early for the usual dinner crowd, and definitely rolling up in much better than was parked outside. Adrian got out from the car and quickly went over to Kate's side again, opening the door for her. As she got out, Adrian looked across his vehicle to one parked next to him, and snorted a little laugh.

"Hmph, Beamer," Adrian smirked derisively. He smiled down at Kate, and held out his arm for her to take. "Shall we?"

[Kate]

Adrian drove fast, as she figured. The blonde smiled, and relaxed. This was not her first time in a expensive, fast car. She stepped out as they got to the outback, and stepped in. Kate was a bit over dressed for the place, as it was a comfortable, cozy sort of thing. The blonde didn't care in the least bit.

The were shown a seat, a booth in a corner. Kate slid into the booth and looked around. Soon enough some warm bread and butter were on the table in front of them.

"Ever been to an Outback before?"

Kate had... but Kate had also lived poor. Not a thing that Adrian knew about. Way back in the beginning of her high school days, Kate really had been lower middle class because of a restriction of income. Her father had had everything locked up in banks until she was 17.

[Adrian]

As they were seated, Adrian smiled his thanks to the hostess, and soon bread and butter were brought to the table. Adrian didn't even think twice about grabbing a piece and dipping it into the butter before taking a bite. It was delicious.

By the time Kate asked a question of him, Adrian had already shoveled two rolls into his mouth. He looked at her, mouth still full of the second piece of bread, looking like a deer caught in the headlights.

"Mmmf... one momfemt..." Adrian chewed and swallowed, grinning afterward. "No, no, I have not. It seems like a nice place, though..."

Adrian flipped through the menu a little, shrugging. "A little bit cheaper than my usual haunt, but, I mean, come on... at least it's not Denny's." Adrian chuckled and began to look over the menu.

"So what's good here?"
