Ready for A Slow Dance w/ A Stranger(Kate)

[Kate]

He was messing around with her, hrm? One eyebrow lifted high, wondering how to respond to all of this. A command? Command him to come over here and kiss her, or something. Her lips twitched, trying to not let the smile really break out on her full lips. This game they played, it was so addicting.

"No Adrian. Not a command..." In fact, she didn't want to command him. At least not right now, not in this moment. Kate wanted him to come over because he wanted to.

"While we're in the hot tub Adrian... just be yourself, not a slave.."

She said it quietly, almost a whisper. The reasons behind it were only known to her. And they scared her, just a bit. She wanted him to come over and hold her, kiss her, touch her... but she wanted him to want it. And even if he did, and she ordered it... it wouldn't be the same.

Besides, if need be, Kate could just leave the hot tub to start the Mistress and Slave thing all over again.

[Adrian]

Kate's reply to Adrian caused him to fully drop the coy little sexy act. His face fell for a moment, almost as if he was disappointed. However, the moment lasted less than half a second, and his face turned to a smile. A real, honest-to-God, smile. Not teasing, playing, sexy, or even joking. Adrian's teeth flashed and he shook his head, almost in disbelief.

"God, Kate, I'd love to."

And with that, Adrian would set her feet back down to the floor of the tub gently, and float over to her side of the hot tub. His arms would wrap around her, pulling her from her seated position to standing somewhere near the middle with him. His eyes would look deep into her sparking greens, and his lips would meet hers. He closed his eyes, kissing her for the second time that night, holding her as close as he could. He would give everything into the kiss, because this very kiss, under these very conditions, was everything he wanted to give, even if he wouldn't admit it out loud.

[Kate]

His face fell, and her heart froze. Like stopped beating and froze, leaping into her throat. Was that the wrong thing to say? Should she have kept up the act? Not given into that moment of...weakness? Had she ruined everything now? No... she wouldn't let that happen, Kate would just have to work hard to get things the way they had been before... When he smiled. Her heart froze... in a different way, but her face stayed neutral.

Then he floated over, pulled her into his arms and kissed her. Kate melted into his hold, giving the kiss everything she had... everything she was feeling in that moment. He was going to take her breath away again. Her hands lifted, one on his chest and the other in his hair. Fingers twining in his hair, gently this time.

She didn't stop at one kiss. Or two. Or three... or for awhile. Kate was greedy, and took all the kisses he had to give. Gave all the ones she needed to give. All those pent up, odd little emotions Adrian Hanlon made her feel.

And then she pulled back, only to lay her head on his chest. Her breath was stolen... again. She had nothing to say.

[Adrian]

The two stood there in the hot tub, kissing each other with everything they had in them: all those pent-up emotions, the feelings they were either too afraid or too proud to feel, the very feelings they seemingly could dance around each with no longer. For every kiss Kate took from Adrian, he would give one back in kind, and the world would freeze aroudn them, or so it felt, as they were wrapped up in each other. Finally, after what seemed like blissful ages, they broke from each other's lips. Kate gently leaned her head against the boy's solid chest. His hand would stroke her soft hair gently, running his fingers through the perfectly tangle-less tresses. She had nothing to say, Adrian, however, definitely did.

"Kate," he started, pausing in order to try to make words out of the emotions he felt, and finding it much harder than anything he'd ever done before. He pulled her tighter into him for a moment, giving her a little squeeze.

"You're amazing."

[Kate]

She felt... scared. Like she had given too much again. Like this was starting down the path that always ended in the same way. With the man leaving her to some horrible, painful thing. Like it always had happened before. But would she show that? Of course not? Instead she slapped his chest playfully and chuckled.

"You're saying that now Adrian Hanlon. Wait til we fuck."

A little brash with her words, but it was a cover up. She pulled back and winked at him, saucy little smirk on those full lips he had just been kissing. She bit into her bottom lip.

And yes, wait until we fuck. As in it was going to happen. As in, she would already start teasing him. She pulled herself to her knees on the "seat" thing that they were sitting on, so he wouldn't have to lean down so far. Another kiss, and nothing about it had those emotions before. This was all sensual, and nothing else.

[Adrian]

And just like that, the relationship flashed back to something a little more sinful in nature. Adrian shook his head, smirking at her as she said what she did. She leaned in and kissed him again, this time full of fiery, seductive passion, as if she would rip his shorts off here and now as soon as her lips left his.

Adrian, already used to these changes of mood, was ready to meet her, pulling her close to him as he returned the kiss with all the passion he could muster. While he could feel his feelings for Kate went deeper than some hot body who wanted in his pants, there was no denying the carnal passion they seemed to share as well. Adrian felt no shame in it; he was an attractive guy, she was beyond just an attractive girl. They wanted each other, what could the problem be?

When the kiss finally broke, Adrian put his forehead upon Kate's looking deep into her eyes as close as they could be from his.

"Oh, don't tease me, love. I might just have to take advantage of you right here and now."

[Kate]

Both eyebrows lifted, and those emerald orbs stared straight back into his blue ones. She licked her lips, and grinned. She couldn't help it. Around Adrian she was full of smiles, smirks, grins... the list went on and on. She hadn't had this much fun... since.. since another school, another time, another guy, and in a different way. Kate had been a different person then. So in reality, she had never had fun like this.

"Go ahead and try Adrian. We both know how it'd end."

She was grinning almost ear to ear, and pressed another kiss to his lips. Like she was addicted to them or something. And Kate pretty much was addicted to Adrian Hanlon in ways she wouldn't admit for some time to come.

If he tried to force her? Well maybe he'd get a little further, but Kate was stronger, faster, and tougher. There was no doubt in a tussle that she would win. The blonde leaned over, and pressed a kiss to his ear quickly.

"Remember if I leave the hot tub, you're my slave once more darling."

She purred it in his ear.

[Adrian]

Kate quipped back, reminding him casually what would happen if he tried anything past his station. Adrian laughed, accepting the kiss, as he recalled the last time Kate and he had a tussle. Of course, if he tried to take something she wasn't ready to give, she would kick his ass all up and down this suite, and then likely sic her bodyguards on him to clean up the pieces. Either way, it was inconsequential. Adrian was the classic gentleman at heart, and he was sure Kate knew that as well as he did. It would be a much better prize given than taken, anyway.

She leaned in and kissed his ear, purring a little reminder in his ear that caused him to involuntarily shudder in pleasure. Adrian's ears were definitely a sensitive spot for him, and Kate would no doubt pick up on that. He almost couldn't think of a decent reply, he was still reeling from that feeling of her warm breath against his ear.

"Ohhh, Kate," He began, still trying to put words together, not expecting such a sudden pleasurable feeling. "We... wouldn't want that, would we? Something tells me you prefer this, us as equals." Adrian would grin, putting a finger to her lips if she tried to speak.

"However, a girl like you could never deny the fun of having a little personal pet for a night, especially when he looks like me."

[Kate]

Wait? What was this? He shuddered, and not because there was something horrifyingly gross around. But because she had... his ear... and... well that was good to know!!! The blonde was grinning like a cat who had finally caught the canary.

"A personal pet for a night," she nipped at his finger before pulling it away, twining his hand in hers. "Darling, I have an army of personal pets. I tend to just look at a guy, smile, and he melts. I can twist him around my finger anyway I want... But having you? That's a whole different sort of pleasure."

And she was going to make him beg. Sooner or later, in front of people. Tease a man enough, and he'll get on his knees and beg. Kate was going to enjoy that moment... and not indulge in it. It would be good to make him beg, but not good to fully embarrass him for it.

"I do like us as equals... but I also love you as my slave darling. So much fun to be had with it."

Those emerald eyes couldn't dance brighter. He was bringing out a side of Kate that she loved. Enjoyed. Something no one else really had.

[Adrian]

"That's because you've never ever had a pet that was quite like me, Kate."

Adrian laughed. He could tell this girl was a man-eater, and it didn't bother him in the slightest. Oh, he was a jealous kind of guy, don't get him wrong. But he was also the confident kind of guy. She might have had guys before, hell, she might have had guys just days earlier in this very hot tub, for all he knew. However, there was one more thing he knew, and that was that she'd never met anyone quite like him before. All the guys prior in the world didn't matter to him. Any guys that would come after, however, that would most definitely strike up a jealous streak.

"You know it, too," he said, leaning in to give her a little kiss, just because he wanted to. "All those other boys, they might just melt and bow to you on principle. Me? You had to beat me down by force just to tame me for one night."

Adrian smirked, and kissed her again, deeper and more passionately this time.

"And you love it."

[Kate]

The second kiss did wonders. Her hands in his hair again, lips needy. It was like a sudden change in her mood when he kissed her, like she could barely keep it contained. Kate pulled away and took a deep breath. FUCK FUCK FUCK. This wasn't suppose to happen! Not like this!

Kate McHallin was falling for Adrian Hanlon.

He was attractive, very good looking, smart, coy, sexy... the list went on. Kate was going to have to fight it, or she'd find herself in another relationship. And Kate didn't know if she was ready for another relationship. But how she wanted him...

"Of course I do." She turned away from him, apparently for no reason. Her elbows on the edge of the tub, looking out the window that was next to them. She needed a moment to breath... because she wanted him all to herself... all the time. And they had only met twice. Damn him to hell and beyond. Stirring up all these emotions... making her weak in the knees! DAMN HIM.

[Adrian]

The girl turned from him, a strange enough move. Adrian tilted his head, unseen by her. Had he done something wrong? The fire still seemed to be there, there hadn't been the usual drop in tension that came with a sudden spurn. Adrian couldn't quite figured out what made Kate feel the need to turn around, but he wouldn't let her get away so easily. After all, once they left the hot tub, it was right back to playing little good pet. The girl leaned over, and Adrian came up behind her, their hips touching as if the dirty was about to happen, but Adrian instead reached out and took hold of her shoulders, starting a back and shoulder massage. Something was weird, for sure. Maybe not wrong, maybe not bad, but something was definitely up. Adrian wanted to know, and thought it best to take the most direct route.

"Kate, love... are you alright?" He would ask, continuing to rub her back and shoulders. He hoped the touch would help her to relax, if something really was going on in that little head of hers.

[Kate]

He was right behind her, rubbing her shoulders and back. Right over her two tattoos and the scar. It felt so good too!!! Kate could have melted under his hands. Why? Why did he have to be like this? Like he was perfectly tailored for her exactly!!!

"I... I've had some really bad things happen to me in the past Adrian. I'm not exactly the most trusting of men..." In a romantic sense... but she left that part out. "Bad things have always happened to me because of men. Because of my dad. Because of my ex boyfriends, because of stalkers... the list goes on. Back when I was weaker I got beat up all the time... Hell, a gang member jumped me and carved the gang initials in my back... One of my boyfriends raped my friends. Another was the one who raped me... And every one of them has left me, some way some how..."

She was trying to not let her emotions through... but maybe he would understand. Maybe he would understand why all of this was a bit hard for her. The blonde reached back, and clasped one of his hands in hers, keeping it where it was. Oddly right over the rose on her shoulder. Her fingers squeezed, and there were no more words left to say.

[Adrian]

As Kate began to explain herself, and why she tried to keep herself at a distance, Adrian's massage became less frequent, until it would stop completely. He had gotten snippets in the past, but to hear it all, that every man who had ever gotten her to love them had not simply just ran away without so much as another word, but had also committed atrocious acts of violence upon her and her friends. Adrian's rage began to boil over, and he would be shaking visibly at the thought of it. Her hand interlacing with his, however, did wonders to cool him down, and a few deep breaths did the rest.

His eyes for the first time noticed the big "RoB" on her back, a mar to the rest of the beauty that was her perfectly pale skin. He frowned at it, running his other hand over it gently. It probably didn't hurt, not after all these years, but the thought of it was actually hurting Adrian. He closed his eyes, and with his hand still firmly on Kate's shoulder, would gently pull her up to a standing position. His free hand would wrap around her waist, and he would rest his head down on her opposite shoulder.

"Kate... I understand. If I could, I'd hunt down and destroy each and every last one of the people that hurt you. But I can't, so I'll settle with protecting you with every fiber of me that I would spend destroying your enemies." Adrian turned his head and planted a kiss into the side of her neck before nuzzling his head into the crook of her neck. Was it presumptuous? A bit, maybe, but Adrian meant every word. Even if she turned around at that very instant and told him she never wanted to see him again, it wouldn't make his words any less true, and it wouldn't stop him one bit from attempting to keep his word.

[Kate]

Hunt them down? How many men had said that? How many times had she wanted it to be true? The blonde relaxed in his arms, uncomfortable with the bit of information she had just let him in on. Those emerald eyes shut, and Kate placed her hands on his. It was comforting, this feeling of being in his arms... even if in reality, she was the tougher, stronger of the two.

"Adrian darling, promises to me are piss. Actions mean more than any dollar amount we could ever have combined."

Might as well tell him that too. Even though her voice was soft and sweet when she said it... but Kate had to say it. And then she chuckled, and slapped his hands away playfully before sliding down in the water once again.

"Enough of the depressing stuff. We might as well plan what we're having for dinner before we leave, so I can order it in."

She smiled up at him, even if it was a little forced... but Kate didn't want to talk about any of that anymore. It was time to move on to a happier sort of conversation.
