Ready for A Slow Dance w/ A Stranger(Kate)

[Kate]

She laughed, out right laughed. Something he really hadn't seen before. All Adrian had really seen was chuckles, and such. Now though, it was out right laughter. Kate was enjoying this a little too much. Such a wonderful thing, making a Hanlon beg.

"Mistress, not Ma'am. I'm not a married woman, and I won't be for some time. And no, permission denied. Now get up and kiss me good, or I'll make you beg on your knees for something."

Yeah, she was acting like a bad bitch. Or maybe it wasn't acting at all. Kate was always that way... Adrian just brought it out just a bit more. Those emerald eyes were twinkling so bright.

"And if you don't kiss me well enough, I may make you scrub Croaker's back when he takes a shower later."

Yeah, she'd go there. He was a rich boy, and scrubbing some hulking dude's back probably wasn't his best idea of a night. Kate waited, smiling at him so wickedly.

[Adrian]

Adrian tilted his head, raising an eyebrow at her as the girl corrected him, and then issued her first command for the night. Adrian smirked, and shook his head as he got to his feet. He wouldn't say anything, oh no, he'd learned by now it was best to keep his mouth shut, at least for now. After all, he was getting something good out of this command, at the very least.

As long as he could do it well. Which, well... duh.

Adrian stepped forward with a seductive glint to his eye, and took Kate in his arms, one arm wrapping around her midsection and the other coming up behind her head, as his lips closed around hers, kissing her about as deeply as he could muster. It wasn't particularly difficult, the boy had developed very strong feelings for the girl, and not necessarily only the physical kind. Whatever it was, Adrian definitely felt a connection between the two, and when he kissed her, it was simple to pour all that emotion, that desire and lust, that connection into the space between their lips.

His hand ran through her hair, smoothing it out as he finally broke the kiss, still holding her in his arms. He looked at her for a moment, then, his face fell, his eyes looking off the side and a frown forming on his lips.

"I'll go get the brush..." Adrian grinned back up at her after speaking. He didn't know why he kept trying to push her buttons, he knew she would end up making him do something he really didn't want to do.

But maybe, crazily enough, for this girl, he did.

[Kate]

She had been about to say something rather mean and saucy. Like she hadn't give him permission to touch anything but her lips. However his kiss... well, that made up for everything. In those few moments Kate felt herself just... melt away. Like nothing else mattered but the meeting of their lips. He pulled back, mumbled about a brush, and walked off, Kate was glad his back was turned because Adrian had damn well left her breathless.

She quickly turned and went inside her closet once again. The blonde wasn't going to just show up in her suit, after all. Where was the fun in that. Kate quickly picked out the dress she'd wear over it. It was white, and flirty. The deep V in the dress matched the suit perfectly, and covered her back instead of showing it. No sleeves, and a few layers of ruffles at the bottom, which ended about mid-thigh. Giving it a salsa dancer's look really. Just much shorter and fun loving. Care free really.

Kate slipped it on, and walked back in her room over to her dresser and to her jewelry. She was looking through several pieces, trying to figure out which ones she wanted to wear.

[Adrian]

Adrian unfortunately did not get a chance to catch the girl's reaction to his kiss, but he could assume he did alright, since she didn't even reply at all. This surprised Adrian quite a bit, as the girl seemed to ALWAYS have some sort of clever quip or comeback. Adrian, naturally, simply attributed it to him being a damn good kisser.

Kate went back into her ginormous closet to pick out a cover for her swimsuit. She selected a pretty white sleeveless dress, and when she came back out with it, Adrian couldn't help but nod his approval.

"Mistress, I humbly request permission to give my positive reaction to your choice of outfit."

His eyes caught hers and he smiled devilishly. Unlike with Mathew, Adrian had to admit he was having a good time with this sort of slavery.

[Kate]

Kate grinned at Adrian, smiling almost ear to ear. He was being rather silly now, wasn't he? The blonde looked at him, even as she pulled out a silver and diamond necklace from her jewelry box.

"Darling, you can say whatever you want. It's the touching, the kissing, or anything of the physical sort that you must ask for. Now help me with this..."

She held out the necklace for him to help her with. It was a simple piece, and elegant. She turned so that her back was facing him. From there she'd pull her hair up and out of the way, so he could clasp it around his neck. There was a matching pair of earrings that she would clasp on as well, after he did his part.

"You sure showed up early. What are we suppose to do with all the time until the party? Any ideas Adrian?"

More teasing? Their entire relationship seemed to be filled with that. The entire two times they had met thus far. And she was sure that they would see each other plenty more after this night.

[Adrian]

He rose from the bed again, a little sad to be leaving such a soft comfy piece of furniture, but much more happy to help Kate with her jewelry. She held out the necklace and he reached taking it from her, and held it up, examing it first to make sure he understood the clasp. It seemed like every necklace ever made had a slightly different clasping mechanism, and Adrian decided it prudent to study this one so he didn't look like a retarded monkey when he would help her put it on.

As he was about to wrap the necklace around her neck, however, a thought came to him, causing him to stop suddenly and look at the back of her head in mock-irritation.

"Oh, not this time, sweetheart," Adrian said, before continuing with his mantra. "Request permission to touch you to put the necklace on, my dear?"

Adrian smirked; he didn't for sure whether she was trying to trick him or not; either way, he'd rather be safe than be caught touching without her express permission. Lord knows the rulings she made were fairly tough, he was almost afraid to find out what the punishments were.

Almost...

[Kate]

"Caught me, permission granted Adrian Dear."

She was smiling at him, almost glowing from how much fun this was. Of course, he'd put the necklace on and she'd move to the spot next to the jewelry... where the make up was. Yes, Kate kept her make up in her room. Why walk to the bathroom for it? She began to pull out plenty of things. Cover up, foundation, eye liner, mascara, blush, bronzer, eye shadow, and all that jazz. Placing them one by one on the counter.

"I think tonight is going to be the most fun I've had for a long time darling. Better make it worth my while slave boy."

She turned, and leaned over. Almost seemingly touching him. Instead her hand reached around and smacked him on the rear end. Before she went and began to put on her make up. One piece at a time, her face becoming the way it normally was. Water proof, of course. All water proof.

[Adrian]

Adrian nodded, pleased with himself for his catch. After being given permission, Adrian would, of course, ensure his fingers 'just happened' to graze her neckline while he pulled the necklace around her throat, his fingers a little clumsily working the clasp, but managing to make it work deftly enough for him to not look and feel like the aforementioned retarded monkey. Kate went to get her makeup ready, but not before smacking Adrian in the ass.

Adrian actually hopped a little in surprise, as his eyes opened wider. "Whoa," he said, rubbing his butt afterwards. "Wasn't expecting that. You're just full of surprises, aren't you, Mistress?"

Oh, the way he said that word, 'mistress', was just so darn sexy and he knew it. He couldn't help but add a seductive tone to that word, it practically screamed for it. While the girl worked on her makeup, Adrian looked towards the swimsuits she had picked out for him to wear. After considering what she had chosen, Adrian settled upon a mostly silver one with royal blue trim. He held it up, looked it inside and out, and nodded to himself. It was the right size; the girl was definitely a good judge of that. He considered putting it on, but a glint in his eye caused him to stop short.

"Oh Mistressss," Adrian cooed, dragging out the word a little. "I want to put my swimsuit on. Where, exactly, did you want me to go to do that?"

Oh, that Adrian. Anyone could tell he was having just as much fun being a slave as Kate was being the master. He was even trying to give her suggestions of things to do to him, in his own way. It was leaving her open to creativity, which was a dangerous, dangerous thing, but even so, the youngest Hanlon couldn't resist the challenge.

[Kate]

His fingers brushed her neckline, and Kate had to fight the urge to suddenly shiver. Why was she acting like this around him? Really?? What was her problem?? She was putting on her eye liner when he asked the question. Oh so many answers, so many choices. Those emerald eyes locked on him, and he would be able to see the temptation in her eyes.

"You can change the closet Adrian. I'd rather like to keep some things a surprise for later."

Later as in, some time later in their future. Not really that night. Or maybe that night, but he wasn't going to get a real answer. At least not now. Kate was really considering holding out on him. Not that it'd be a big thing for her, she could have almost any male she wanted if she got frustrated.

By the time he got back, she would have her make up almost completed. Finishing up the mascara, everything else in perfect order. She had done this so many times that she had it down pat. It was easy, and quick. Next was hair, which she walked to the side door for. Opened it up, and thus was a lavish bathroom. Huge tub, separate shower, the whole nine yards. The tub was one of those super tubs that sunk into the floor and could hold many people. A nice thing, really.

The girl began to pull out various brushes, a straightener, and a blow dryer. She figured Adrian would follow.

[Adrian]

"As you wish, my dear. As you wish."

As she was putting her eyeliner, she would see in the reflection of the mirror Adrian giving her a very over-exaggerated, elegant bow. He would take the swim-trunks in his hands and side-step into the giant closet, closing the door behind him. From there, it was only a short matter of time before he discarded his pants and undies, folding them and keeping them in the corner for later on, but not before removing the pair of flip-flops he had stashed in his back jeans pocket. Quickly, in case Kate decided to peek, Adrian pulled up the trunks, finding them to be as perfect a fit as they appeared to be when he had first inspected them.

Adrian looked at himself in the full-length mirror any respectable girl wanted in their closet. He checked both sides, and felt like soemthing was wrong. Finally figuring it out, he let his shirt fall from his shoulders, and pulled his tank top up from the waist, removing it before donning the open blue silk shirt again, now exposing his well-defined abs and pectorals. Satisfied with this, he also folded the undershirt and laid it with the rest of his clothes.

Emerging from the closet, Adrian found Kate to be in the bathroom, getting things together for making her hair pretty. He leaned against the doorframe, thumbs hooking the waistline of his shorts. His eyes scanned the lavish, wonderfully designed bathroom, noting how well it went with the rest of the room. His eyes finally settled on his date herself. She would just be starting to blowdry her hair, having just plugged the appliance in when Adrian would speak.

"You know, you've really got a nice room. Almost puts mine to shame. ALMOST." He laughed wryly, his gaze turning to meet hers through the mirror rather than directly, so she could also focus on treating her hair while speaking to him.

[Kate]

She heard his words over the blow dryer, and grinned. Tossing her hair up (and it was a lot of hair) she stood straight and turned the blow dryer off. It hadn't taken too long because the blonde locks had already started the drying process as soon as she was out of her house. The dryer clicked off and she smiled coyly at him. Emerald eyes slowly taking in his body. He had a very nice body... and frankly it made Kate want to touch those muscles.... and she refrained for the moment. There would be plenty of time at the party, and in front of all the girls who couldn't touch him.

"Well then, I guess I have to see your room sometime."

The girl kept on smiling, and brushed her blonde locks out. This was followed by the straightener and more brushing. Soon enough she was perfectly fixed and ready. Now that... that was all done, she had nothing else to really do... and well not touching Adrian was going to be hard.

Might as well try not to resist.

She walked over, and pressed herself to him, smiling softly. Those emerald eyes were dancing so wildly. She was having so much fun with this.

[Adrian]

"I guess you will." Adrian quipped back with a wink.

Kate quickly finished getting her hair ready, a fairly simple job for what Adrian considered a fairly simple soiree. As she did so, she smiled at him, coming in closer to press herself up against him. Adrian's eyes closed and he smiled as well, the warmth of her body, especially her hair after going through a flat iron and a blow dryer, felt good against his now bare chest. Yes, he had decided to remove the tank top to show off to Kate, but that was to be expected. Adrian was, after all, a fairly vain individual. He worked particularly hard to stay in shape and look the way he did, however, so in the end, it was really just another point of the youngest Hanlon's neverending pride.

His hand, almost without thought, came around the girl to hold her close to him, but quickly shot up into the air, his fingertips playing across the top of the doorframe instead.

"Err... can I?" he would ask, much less mockingly formal and seductive, and more so out of hope. At this moment, right here and now, he just really wanted to hold this girl.

[Kate]

He sounded so hopeful too. She couldn't say no to that voice, to that face. Not that she would EVER admit it to ANYONE. Not even herself. So instead those full lips twisted in a wicked smirk, and one hand trailed down his chest slowly. Down the open front of his shirt, enjoying the touch. He was a well built male, and Kate was loving it.

"Permission granted darling."

Her fingers danced softly over his abs, enjoying the warmth she felt from his skin. All hers, for a night. No one else could have this... for the night. Maybe they would have to bet and fight more often. She'd win, and win, getting stronger all the time. And then he'd just have to be her slave all the time... so she could have him all to herself.

Her teeth bit into her bottom lip in a seductive manner, still looking right up at those blue eyes of his. What was this? Was her heart beating faster?!?! NO. She laughed, and pressed her cheek to his chest, trying to seem coy and calm... when in fact she was anything but. In fact, she was almost feeling... weak in the knees. Damn him.

"This is going to be so much fun Adrian.... you have no idea how bad it's going to be for you tonight." She pretty much purred it into his chest, recovering just a bit.

[Adrian]

Upon receiving the needed permission, Adrian's hand would softly from its raised position, draping first over Kate's shoulders for a moment before sliding down her back, holding her up against him. If Kate was feeling weak in the knees and breathless, Adrian certainly didn't notice, as he was too busy trying to fight off the same feelings. To be sure, he didn't have the same past life and emotional issues that the girl did, but, even so, Adrian felt he had a reputation to uphold. It wasn't a well-known reputation, but Adrian enjoyed the company of women, in a plural sense. The very idea that this girl, through her sheer radiance, was inadvertantly changing that plurality to singularity worried and, in all honesty, frightened him, yet at the same time, he couldn't help but wonder if it was a good thing.

With the girl's head against his chest, she wouldn't see him shake his head, trying to keep himself in the here and the now. Tonight, he was just her slave for a beach party. That was it. Everything would fall as it would, and Adrian would be right there trying to shape it the way he wanted as it fell. That was how the Hanlons dealt with things. That was how they established a nearly global empire in telecommunications and networking.

And it was how the youngest Hanlon would deal with his love life.

Adrian's left hand began to run up and down the girl's back, over her little party dress. As it reached the small of her back, Adrian recalled the tattoo he had seen there. It interested him, however, he still wasn't sure exactly how committed to silence he was meant to be in regards to the Reapers, as well as his actual status as a member. He was forced to join, initially, as a lackey of Mathew, but, while he was still technically in the man's servitude, the hold was loose, at best. Regardless, Adrian decided to attempt a probing question or two, just to test the waters. Maybe he'd reveal his own secrets if she divulged any of hers.

"So," he began, his hand rising back from the small of her back to around her midsection. "I couldn't help but notice a new tattoo. What exactly inspired that one?"

[Kate]

It was one of those moments... were she was starting to feel safe in someone's arms. Of course that wasn't true, because after all Kate could beat him. So she really wasn't "safe" right there in his arms, but he could sure make a girl feel like it. But then he asked a question about her tattoo.

"It might not be new, you didn't see the small of my back while we were fighting before after all," Kate chucked, but pulled slightly back. The blonde needed to see his face for this one. Needed to see Adrian's reaction.

" Well I wanted to get a new tattoo, something I little more bad ass looking than rose... and well, it means something to me. Loyalty, respect, a ton of other things."

Kate wasn't going to just come out and say "I AM A REAPER" because that wasn't information she wanted to just chuck around. She had learned that lesson before, once upon a time. But if Adrian was in another faction or something... well Kate would change that tonight. She'd somehow bring him closer tonight...

The question Kate had to ask herself, was why?
