[OOC: Sara only, though invited may happen later on.]
Well, this day had been quite odd so far. Travis and Sara had it out in school, during one of his classes. She had accused him of cheating on her, and then tried to beat him up. It definitely wasn't something that happened everyday. And Travis was still a tiny bit riled up over it. But he didn't let his anger show. After all, he was trying to avoid making things worse. The engine of his motorcycle would cut off as they reached the apartment, and he'd push the bike into it's resting place. A small sigh would escape his lips as threw his legs over the bike and glanced backwards at his girlfriend.
He would eye the red mark on her face from his hand, and he'd quickly turn away. Travis was ashamed of himself. He had never planned on hitting her like that. He knew he was a lot stronger then her, and that he could have seriously hurt her even if he hadn't meant it. She seemed alright though. Maybe that was one of the things he liked about her. She was really tough. It fit too, because Travis was just as tough. He was glad that she had kept it together, and that she hadn't cried back there. If she had, he would have felt even worse.
Those boots of his would carry him toward their numbered door and he would locate the key on his ring, slide it into the lock and turn. Once inside, Travis would glance around. There were still a lot of boxes that needed to be unpacked, and the stuff put away. Apart from that, Travis had already done all the furniture moving. They had arranged everything the way they wanted, and he was actually pretty happy with the place. Of course, it wasn't like they got it all themselves. They had help, but even so. It was like their own place at the time. Sara's uncle was still away on business, and that suited him just fine.
Travis would wait until his girlfriend had come inside, and then shut and lock the door behind her. Those icy blue eyes would fall upon her frame and he'd walk up to her and wrap his arms around her waist. He didn't know exactly what to say at this moment, he was worried that she still might be mad, that she was still thinking he could have cheated on her. He didn't know how to prove otherwise though. She just needed to trust him.
"I'm really.. really sorry that I hit you like that.."

Sara held on tightly to Travis as he drove the motorcycle home. She didn't particularly like the bike... Well, it was a nice bike, and it was kinda cool to have a boyfriend who rode a motorcycle... But riding on it scared her. She wondered if he knew that from how tightly she gripped him around the waist, and buried her face into his back. She squeezed her eyes shut, feeling awkward as she clung to him. They had just finished fighting. And they didn't fight like normal couples. No. They had to get physical. Really physical. Her face still stung from where he had hit her. She wondered if his hurt...
Finally, he got them home. Once again, safe and sound. You'd think she would have learned by now that he wasn't going to kill them. He got off the bike before her, and she climbed off after him. Well... Slid. Maybe it was the size thing, but she was always a little sore and wobbly legged after riding on the bike. She had seen him eye the mark on her face and she turned her head away from him, avoiding his gaze. It wasn't the first time he had gone all out on her, so she didn't know why he felt bad. It had happened a few times, and honestly, she didn't mind it. It was just the way things were in their lives. This was just the way they lived. Most people would look at it, and think it was wrong, but for her? She was just fine with the way things were. She liked fighting. She actually considered herself lucky to have found a guy who could handle her.
She followed him to their apartment and waited until he opened the door, and followed him inside. She glanced around. This was nice. She liked coming home with him. She liked that they lived together now. She looked around at what they had done so far and stepped further into the apartment. There were still a lot of boxes, but at least the furniture was finished. She couldn't help but smile. Even though her uncle lived with them, she still considered it just hers and Travis'. She heard the door lock behind her, but she didn't turn. She took another step towards the living room, wondering where to start. She jumped when she felt his arms wrap around her.
"I'm really.. really sorry that I hit you like that.."
She froze, a little shocked. She didn't want him thinking like that. She really didn't. "Hun... Travis. It's ok, you should know that... I wouldn't let you just... beat the crap out of me, you'd be long gone if that were the case... but I kinda asked for this one..." She let out a laugh. Ya, it still sounded wrong. She dropped her hands and rubbed them along his arms that were holding her. She decided to take it in another direction, get away from this topic. "Look, I'm sorry to, I shouldn't have gone off the bat like that, and I hit you pretty hard to... So~ Where should we start today?" She gestured to the boxes with one hand.

Hun... Travis. It's ok, you should know that... I wouldn't let you just... beat the crap out of me, you'd be long gone if that were the case... but I kinda asked for this one...
Even though Sara was right, and she had started the whole thing over a silly rumor, he still felt that he had gotten out of line. Things had definitely been blown out of proportion. He just hoped that there wouldn't be anymore incidents like that. It pissed him off that someone would lie and try to break them up for no reason whatsoever. At least Travis had been able to defuse the situation. He would just have to try and made sure he could make things better today.
Look, I'm sorry to, I shouldn't have gone off the bat like that, and I hit you pretty hard to... So~ Where should we start today?
Travis smirked slightly when she decided to change the subject. He actually felt a little better about it. But he still had some stuff that he wanted to say to her. He was just slightly afraid to do so. He wasn't sure what the outcome would be, or if it would end up ruining what they had right now. Maybe his brain was working faster then he should be, but he knew the feelings that were building up inside him. Which was odd, because he had never really felt like this before. And he wasn't really sure how to approach it. He would gently turn her around to face him. He'd stare into her eyes for a few seconds as he gathered his thoughts, and then Travis would speak.
"I have.. something I want to say.."
He's pause in mid sentence, slightly afraid to say it. But he'd build the courage and let it out.
"I think I.. Love you?"
Travis never said he was good at this kind of thing. He felt odd, and wasn't sure what she was going to say or think. He was nervous and even slightly embarrassed. But he decided he'd act, and he'd do it quickly. He'd push his face forward and he'd kiss her on the lips so that she couldn't say anything right away. He wasn't sure if he was going to want to hear it. So he'd delay her with that for a moment, if possible.

Sara stared out at the boxes in the living room. She really had no more anger in her for him. She was more relieved that the chances of him having cheated on her were slim to none. Her anger was more directed at the girl she had talked to. If she ever saw her again... She was going to kill her. Her face hardened at that though, so she pushed it away. There was no point in thinking about it to much. It wasn't worth it. She let her hand fall back to Travis' arm. This was what mattered. Him and her. The fact remained, that at the end of the day, he was back at home with her, not anyone else. And that made Sara really happy. She really loved what they had, and she was so scared to lose it. To go back to living alone, day after day, in a dark apartment. To go to school, knowing that there was no one there but psychos. Travis gave her a glimmer of hope in an otherwise screwed up life.
She felt his grip on her tighten, his arms moving as he turned her. She let him, and when she was facing him, she looked up at him. She smiled. It was the only time that she liked being shorter then someone else. But the smile fell from her face as she looked at him. He looked... confused. She felt a tingle of fear down her spine.
"I have.. something I want to say.."
Was he going to break up with her? Was he still angry? He was going to tell her off wasn't he?... He had such a way with words that he always managed to make her feel like a child when he spoke to her seriously. He paused, and she was getting worried, she pulled back from him a little, unsure of what was happening. And then...
"I think I.. Love you?"
Oh. That was all. Sweet relief. She sighed, a smile coming to her lips- OH, wait what?! Her face went slack. He just... confessed to her?... She couldn't quite wrap her head around it. Was he serious? She really hoped he was, because that would make her so happy. He pushed his lips to her, a little hurriedly, as though he was afraid of what she would say. She let the kiss linger for a moment, and then she smiled, her lips pressed against his. A soft giggle escaped her as she deepened the kiss, wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him lower so she had a better grip. She let the kiss go for another few seconds then broke the kiss, pulling him slightly further so that her mouth was at his ear. She was giggling like a little school girl. She was so happy. Without a second thought the words left her lips.
"I love you to Travis.."

I love you to Travis..
He felt so much better now that he had heard her say it, and with the kiss she had helped to make better. Maybe it was too early for him to say such a thing, but he had to let it out. But it had went well, she hadn't rejected him, and she had actually said it back. Travis assumed she was being honest. After all, she hadn't paused or anything. This male was definitely happy with the face that he had said it to her. If he hadn't worked the courage up and told her, who knew when he would have been able to do it. The moment just seemed right.
"I'm glad. I really am."
Travis would continue to hold her for the time being. It felt right to have her in his arms. Sara was his, and no one was going to be able to take her away from him. He would protect her any chance he got, even if she didn't want him to. He wasn't going to let anything happen to her. This new school was proving to be just as dangerous as the last, or at least around the same level. He knew Sara went off on people sometimes, so he'd just have to pick up the pace and keep her safe. Anyone that messed with her would receive Travis' fist in her face. His lips would press against her forehead for a moment, and then he'd glance back around at those boxes.
"You know what? Maybe later after we unpack some stuff, we can go out and get something to eat."

Sara wondered briefly, it was to early for this. She guessed not. It must just depend on the couple. Some were just... meant to be? She didn't want to think like that though, because that was... stalker-ish? She had no idea if they were meant to be, but she did know that she loved him. She had known for a while, and she wondered about him. Had he only just realized now? She wanted to laugh, some men were dense like that. But she was glad it was out. If he hadn't said it, she had been planning on telling him soon. So it was nice that it was finally out in the open, and the timing had been perfect.
"I'm glad. I really am."
He continued to hold her, and she hugged him tightly, not wanting to let go. This had to be one of the happiest moments of her life. She closed her eyes, savoring the moment, just enjoying the feeling of being so close to him. She wondered where she would be without him. She really thought it might have been a very dark place... Death even. If it hadn't been for him, she would have had no idea what she was up against when she transferred to 259. She would have gotten her ass beaten and handed to her so many times... He had shown her how to fight. Taught her how to defend herself. She was very much in love with him, he had taken the time to care for her, and protect her, even when she didn't want it, and was so glad he had told her that he loved her.
She felt is lips press against her forehead, and his body shifted as he glanced around. She slowly drew her arms off of him, dropping them to his forearms and just taking a second to look at him.
"You know what? Maybe later after we unpack some stuff, we can go out and get something to eat."
"That sounds great. Really nice actually. Let's... get to work then?" She smiled, blushing brightly, and pulled away from him, practically hoping across the room to a box. She opened it and looked inside. There was... a lot of junk in it. And dust. A lot of their stuff was covered in dust and dirt after the quake. It was kind of sad to see it. She dropped down to her knees next to the box and started to pull things out. The sooner they got through it all, the sooner they could stop worrying about unpacking. And unpacking was driving her OCD insane. She couldn't count the number of lists she had made in an attempt to make herself feel better. She wondered why the hell he put up with her. She was crazy. With her lists... and anger... and physical altercations... Maybe he was crazy to... Well if he was, it only made her love him more.

Travis would watch his girlfriend pull away, and then move toward some of the boxes. She'd pick up a box and move, set herself down and begin to open it. He would move shortly after Sara did, those hands of his would grip one of the boxes. Holding the bottom, he'd pull the box upon at the top and glance in. It was filled with plates, dishes and cups. They had already done one box, so this would end up being the final one he had to do. Those boots of his would carry him to the kitchen, and he'd place the box upon the counter and then start his own work. They had to replace a lot of what they had before the earth quake, but a few had managed to survive.
"Any ideas of where you'd like to go?"
Travis' voice would be able to carry out toward his girlfriend. He wasn't sure exactly what she wanted to do. He wasn't even totally sure if she enjoyed eating at a restaurant. Travis didn't ask her any question like that before. They hadn't really been on too many dates. Most of the time they just hung out at the apartment. He himself really wanted a nice juicy stake right about now.. Maybe he'd just go all out and take her some place nice. Good stake at nice places, right?

Sara pulled the small nicknacks out of the box, lost in thought. She heard him pick up a box and move into the kitchen. It was funny, in a way. They had just confessed their love for each other and now everything was back to normal. As thought it hadn't happened. She wondered if that was a sign of just being completely comfortable with each other. Maybe that was it. But she just found it interesting how she felt so much closer to him, yet nothing had changed. She thought about how wrong things could have gone. Things could have become extremely awkward, but no. Things had quickly gone back to normal. And she was happy about that. Their relationship was weird enough as it was. She didn't need it to be any weirder.
"Any ideas of where you'd like to go?"
"Uhhh.. no, not really." Sara like eating out, but making decisions sucked. She could never make up her mind. It was damn near impossible for her. And while that sucked, a lot, she was ok with that. She wondered if he knew how hard it was for her. She thought about. Did he really have any idea about her little quirks? How crazy she could get over little things? How she had so much trouble dealing with authority? Did he know those things about her? "How about you? Where do you want to go?"
Sara really didn't care either way, she just wanted to go somewhere with him. Somewhere nice. She had the money for it. Oh crap. Did he know about that yet? Did he even really know what her uncle did? She didn't think she had told him much about her parents... Hm... Well. He must have some idea about the amount of money she had sitting in the bank. This was somewhat like a condo they were living in. They owned it. He must know that they had money if they owned it. She realized that there was nothing good in the box, so she stood up and moved onto another one. It had the pots and pans they had managed to salvage. She picked it up, struggling a little under its weight, and walked into the kitchen.

Uhhh.. no, not really.
Travis would stay quite for the time being. He really didn't know any of the nice places around, but he was sure they could figure something out. Maybe he'd even see if she wanted to go to the movies or something like that. It would definitely be fun, because he hadn't eaten out or gone to the movies in such a long time. His hands would work quickly as his mind wandered, putting all the bowls and plates into their specific cupboard. After which he'd move to a different one and start to put the the glasses away. Finally he'd speak out to Sara once again.
"Well, after we're finished we can take a look in the phone book and find someplace to go.."
Once he finished with his box, he'd carry it out into the living room and toss it over near the door leading outside. He'd once again return to the stack of boxes, grab out and then move over toward his girlfriend, drop down next to her and then pause his unpacking for the moment. He'd lean toward her and give her a little kiss on the cheek, and glance into the box she was working on. It really sucked that they had lost a lot of stuff during the earthquake. It would be a pain to replace some of it. Some stuff might not even be replaceable, he wasn't quite sure since most of it hadn't been his.
"Are you interested in a movie after we eat?"

Sara left the box on the stove and walked back out into the living room, sitting back down in front of the first box. She needed to get through these things. The little things. She waited for an answer from him. Maybe he hadn't heard her. That was fine, it wasn't like they needed to decide right now. She pulled some more things from the box, setting them on the floor around her. She was going to have to vacuum the dust up after this. It was really depressing to be working with the stuff in this box. It was hard when your life was suddenly disrupted like that. It was another reason why she was glad she had Travis.
Maybe she would take him somewhere really nice tonight. It was about time that he realized they could splurge a little every once and a while. She thought about some of the places she knew of in the area. She knew of one place, her uncle having taken here there when they first came. He would definitely know they could splurge after going there, with the cheapest things, mostly salads and soups, starting at $20. She smiled as she thought about the look he might get on his face. That would be interesting to see.
"Well, after we're finished we can take a look in the phone book and find someplace to go.."
She turned her head to watch him as he tossed the now empty box towards the door. She didn't answer him right away, as he walked into the living room, and made his way over to her, dropping down beside her. She dropped her gaze looking again back in the box. Ya. It was quite depressing working on this box. She didn't want to do this one. Her hands stilled on the box and she felt his lips on her cheek. It made it both better and worse. Better, because he was here, with her, and she didn't have to do this stuff alone. Worse because she felt like it would be ok to cry in front of him. But she wasn't going to cry. Nu uh. She wasn't that sort of girl.
"Are you interested in a movie after we eat?"
She turned her head, smiling up at him. She really did love him. She was glad he was here with her. She decided that for once she make a suggestion. He'd better make good use of it, because it might the first and the last, he ever got from her. "A movie sounds great. There was supposed to be this really good one coming out. Some action or something. What do you think?" She pushed herself to her feet and walked down the hall to the washroom to wash her hands. "Oh, and I think I know a nice place to go for dinner... Have you ever heard of Vinicsia?"

A movie sounds great. There was supposed to be this really good one coming out. Some action or something. What do you think?
"Yeah, that sounds good."
Travis was glad she had decided to pick something like that. Travis was a fan of most kinds of movies, but he wasn't really into the chick flicks. Hell, he'd rather watch the children movies instead. At least those movies always had the funny innuendo's meant for the adults. He knew she wasn't the type to make decisions, he had noticed it with his time together, but she had actually suggested a movie. That was a good thing, maybe it was just the start. Travis wondered if he'd be able to help her overcome that issue of hers.
Oh, and I think I know a nice place to go for dinner... Have you ever heard of Vinicsia?
Travis would shake his head as he glanced at his girlfriend as she came out of the washroom. His eyes would return to the box in front of him, and he'd pull it open to find loads of small framed pictures. Whatever had managed to make it and could fit on the box. Travis wasn't really sure where they should go, he wasn't good with arranging stuff like this. But he'd still glance in at some of the pictures, of her uncle her and what he assumed were other family members.
"Vinicsia? I don't think I've heard of it.. Sounds Italian though.. Which definitely works for me."

"Yeah, that sounds good."
Sara stood in the bathroom, the water in the sink running, her hands held under the flow. She was breathing heavily. She knew she needed to calm down, everything was fine. Giving those suggestions had been harder then she had thought. She took a deep breath, glancing at herself in the mirror. Everything was fine. He had accepted her first suggestion of the movie. That was good. He hadn't put her down, or called her ideas stupid or anything like that. So what was the problem? Well the problem was, he might be thinking those things.
She didn't bother with the soap. She turned off the taps and dried her hands, walking out of the bathroom. Her gaze fell to Travis as she made her way down the hall. He was shaking his head. So he had never heard of Vinicsia. It was a nice place. Really nice. Classy. The food was good and there was a big variety. Her uncle always took her there at least once when he came home. Well, if they were going to go there, she would need to make a reservation. She shouldn't have a problem if she gave her uncles name. She wondered what he would think though when he saw the menu... and the prices... and the people there.
She walked up behind him, looking down at the pictures Travis was holding. She was glad those had made it out of the rubble. They meant a lot to her. She bent down, leaning over his shoulder, her hand on his back. She pointed down to one of the pictures.
"That's my mom and dad." She pointed to the man and woman. "I really like this picture. But anyways," She straightened. "If we want to go there, I need to make a reservation." She walked over to the phone and pressed the speed dial button for the restaurant. When the lady answered she gave her uncles name and they had a table for that evening. Perfect. Now... Did Travis have any suits...?

That's my mom and dad. I really like this picture. But anyways.
Travis would stare at the picture for a moment. He wasn't sure what exactly the reason she was living with her uncle, was. He had never asked her before, he wasn't really sure if it was a touchy subject or anything like that. But he was definitely a bit more curious then he normally was about things like this. After all, they were his girlfriend's parents. He would pause for a moment though, because Sara would speak out once again before he had a chance.
If we want to go there, I need to make a reservation.
"Alright."
Travis would let those icy blues stick upon his girlfriend's frame as she went about her business, preparing herself to make the reservations. He wasn't sure what kind of thing this was going to go, but he assumed it was probably expensive, which meant that he'd probably have to dress up or something like that. He was fine with it though, he didn't mind dressing up at all actually. Travis thought he looked damn good in a suit, and just happened to have one as well. Nothing super fancy but it would be good enough for this occasion. Soon as Sara finished on the phone, Travis would call out once again.
"So.. Why exactly do you live with your uncle? I never asked before.."

Sara finished making the reservation and turned around, gently placing the phone back on the hook. Good. Now to broach the subject of suits and stuff. She wondered if he was going to try to pay. She would pay, no problem, but was he one of those guys who always wanted to pay for everything? She heard him call out to her, shocking her a little.
"So.. Why exactly do you live with your uncle? I never asked before.."
Oh. Well wow. She hadn't been planning on going there tonight... But, now was as good a time as any she though. She walked over to the couch and sat down, her gaze meeting his. She found she couldn't quite hold it, so she dropped her head back, sighing, pulling her legs up under her as she thought about how to answer him. There was a lot of stuff to cover...
"Well... It wasn't so bad at home, there was no abuse or anything. In fact, I couldn't have asked for better parents. The problem was me. I was to... I was just to much for them to handle. And then they heard of a school out here that promised to change their problem child, and the cops pushed for it... and... just... It was best if I came up here to live with my uncle." She rushed the last part out. It wasn't that she didn't like talking about it, it just wasn't something that could be described in one go. It was one of those things that you would just slowly learn over years of being with that person.
"I don't know that you've noticed, but I have a few problems..." She let out a genuine laugh. She always found her problems to be quite entertaining to herself, even if others found them annoying. "They were also part of the reason I left. It was by my choice that I moved in with him. And i just liked the fact that he was never home."

Travis listened to Sara a speak, and he'd make sure he caught every single word. It was interesting to hear that from Sara. He hadn't really pictured her as the.. problem child type. Travis himself was very similar. The only difference was that his parents didn't usually like to put up with his shit, and there would always be some kind of fight because of it. He wondered exactly what kind of things she had done if the cops had gotten involved. Travis probably would have asked another question right there, but Sara cut him off before he could.
I don't know that you've noticed, but I have a few problems... They were also part of the reason I left. It was by my choice that I moved in with him. And i just liked the fact that he was never home.
"Problems?"
He was surprised to hear that. For the most part, Travis had believed Sara to be a pretty normal girl, apart from the fact that she could fight like a dude if she wanted to. He wasn't sure what she had meant by problems, after all he hadn't really noticed anything out of the ordinary since he had been with her. Maybe he had just missed all the clues, though he doubted it. Whatever problems she had, it wouldn't make a difference. He'd just have to help her solve those problems.
"What do you mean? I can't say I've caught what you're talking about.."
