"Problems?"
Her gaze focused on him. He asked like he hadn't noticed. He was kidding right? Did he not notice how anal she was about things? How she couldn't follow an order if her life depended on it? Her slight anger issues and amazingly large sense of pride? Her inability to make even the smallest decisions when there was someone else involved? She wondered where she should start... Although hearing it might scare him off a little. No one wanted a crazy girlfriend. It wasn't something you bragged about to your friends and family.
"What do you mean? I can't say I've caught what you're talking about.."
She let out a laugh and pushed herself to the edge of the couch, staring at him, her gaze intent as she smiled. "Seriously? You haven't noticed? Nothing at all?" Wow... That was surprising. But kind of nice in a way. She kind of liked that he didn't seem to notice her small quirks. That was a good thing right?
She stood up suddenly, and walked across the room, turning down the hall. She beckoned him to follow. She pushed open the door to her room and waited until he was looking in with her. She gestured around the room. To the things on her dresser arranged neatly by size, color and type, to her insane amount of pillows, to her desk, with the pens and pencils, once again arranged by color, her CD's by name and genre. All symptoms of her OCD. The moment one of these things fell out of place, her day was completely ruined, completely set off by the disruption to her things. It could, and had, gotten so bad, that she would leave school simply because there was a chance she might have left something out of place.
"You don't see a problem with that? And let me tell you, if anything in the room were to get misplaced, I would die.... literally die. I would go insane. Completely off the rocker." She remembered one time when one of her pillows had gotten lost and she hadn't slept for three days until she had found it. "On bad days, I can't even leave the house... Since you've been here, it hasn't been so bad... but... It could get worse. I'm diagnosed as OCD, ODD, and have shown signs of a generalized anxiety disorder." She leaned against the door jamb, the smile leaving her face. "My parents used to get a little fed up with me."

Seriously? You haven't noticed? Nothing at all?
"Uhh.. I don't think so?"
Travis would begin to follow his girlfriend as she moved through the apartment. He wasn't sure exactly what she wanted to show him, but he'd follow her anyways, and soon enough they would reach the bedroom. Travis would glance about as she pointed out one of her little quirks. Travis hadn't really ever thought about it much before this moment. He had just pegged her to be the kind of person that was really neat. He had not thought it had something to do with a disorder. Travis wondered why he hadn't been told about this kind of thing before, not that it was extremely important. He was going to love her no matter what.
On bad days, I can't even leave the house... Since you've been here, it hasn't been so bad... but... It could get worse. I'm diagnosed as OCD, ODD, and have shown signs of a generalized anxiety disorder. My parents used to get a little fed up with me.
"I promise you Sara, none of that matters to me.. I'm not gonna get fed up with you."
Travis would lean against his girlfriend and wrap his arms around her. He just wanted to make sure she knew that he didn't care if she had problems. He still liked her, and none of it was going to change simply because she liked to keep things neat, or something like that. Travis enjoyed spending time with her, talking to her, holding her. It would be cold of him to even think of just up and leaving because he found out about her quirks. He wasn't that kind of dude. He'd give her a quick little kiss, and then release his hug and walk into the room. While he was in here, he figured he'd get his fancy cloths out.
"So I'm guessing we're getting all dressed up..?"
Walking to the closet, Travis would pull it open and rummage through until he managed to find his simple black suit. He had gotten it in Japan when he had spent time with his uncle, but it wasn't really that special. It wasn't one of the super fancy ones that uber rich people would have, but it would suit their purposes for the time being. After all, they were just going out to have fun and get some food. Pulling away from the closet, Travis would hold the suit out in front of him and glanced it over, before moving and placing it upon the bed.
"That should do."

Sara couldn't help but laugh. He shared the room with her, and he hadn't even noticed these things? He was either a complete moron, or he really loved her and accepted her. She really like the idea of the second option. She was surprised at how easy it had been to tell him her diagnoses. In some weird way, she just kind of knew that he would accept her even knowing that. However, she still held her breath waiting for him to respond.
"I promise you Sara, none of that matters to me.. I'm not gonna get fed up with you."
She wrapped her arms around him as he hugged her, just enjoying the feeling of being in his arms. Her life had changed a lot since she had met him. She was happy now, and really didn't want to lose him. She breathed a sigh of relief. He was such a good guy. She really didn't deserve him. She would love to know what it was he saw in her. She kissed him back as he gave her a quick peck and watched him walk into the room. She wanted to say something, to thank him for being so good to her, to tell him what he meant to he, but she couldn't think of how to say it, and even if she could, she didn't think she would be able to get it out.
"So I'm guessing we're getting all dressed up..?"
He went to the closet and started digging around. She watched him with interest. She didn't know if he had a suit, she didn't remember seeing one. But honestly, this was Travis, he was always surprising her like that. He pulled out a simple black suit. She eyed it. It was a good make. Not something that the people they would see in the restaurant would wear, but it was appropriate. You could tell it was a good tailor. As usual, he surprised her. The suit would do nicely.
She walked into the room after him, running a finger along the suit. Definitely a good make. She looked up at him smiling. She really appreciated what he did for her.
"Ya. The suit is good. I can't wait to see you in it." She giggled. She wanted to know about him though. She didn't really know much about his family and background, and she was interested. "So... Tell me about your family then. I don't think I ever really asked."

Ya. The suit is good. I can't wait to see you in it.
Good, Travis was glad that she liked the suit he had. Otherwise, he didn't know what he would have done. He would never had just gone out and bought one. Ah well, it worked, and now his mind would wander to what his girlfriend would would be wearing, as those icy blue eyes of his caught upon her once again. Of course he wouldn't have time to even picture her in anything else, because Sara would speak and ask a question he really didn't care to explain.
So... Tell me about your family then. I don't think I ever really asked.
With a sigh, Travis would allow his mind to settle on his parents for the first time in quite some time. He wasn't to keen on the idea, but Travis felt as if he owed it to her after she was able to show him her little quirks. He wasn't really sure what to say though, there really wasn't anything special about his family at all. The only one he had really cared for was gone now. That was another little secret of his, which he had never revealed to anyone else as far as he could remember.
"Well.. Uhh.. My family and I moved from New York City a while back.. Because my little brother.."
He'd pause for a moment, and then turn away from Sara, just trying to do anything he could to avert attention for the moment. Travis had tried to keep himself from thinking of the brother he lost for so long, and now all of the sudden he was on his mind. It wasn't something that he had really wanted at all. But Travis realized that it was probably best not to high anything from Sara.
"My little brother got killed in a riot that took place back in New York.. From there on, things got a little hectic at home.. And a little while after I transferred to #259, My uncle called me asking if I wanted to spend time with him in Japan.. My uncle is more of a father, than my father.."

Sara knew immediately from the way that he sighed that she had asked a bad question. She looked away, a little unsure of what to do now. She hadn't meant to offend him or anything. She had just felt that maybe it was time to broach the subject with him. In all the time they had been together, she had never pried into his life except for the night that she had asked him to move in with her. And that had only been to find out what had happened.
"Well.. Uhh.. My family and I moved from New York City a while back.. Because my little brother.."
She turned to look at him, but he had turned away from her. That alone told her that this story was not going to have a happy ending and she was immediately sorry that she had asked the question. She wanted to go hide under a rock and die for asking that stupid question. She did find it interesting though that he had a brother... Or not...
Sara's face went blank while she listened to him. Now she felt really bad... She had no idea that asking that was going to dredge up all those memories for him. She hadn't mean to hurt him. Sara was an only child and couldn't imagine for the life of her what it must have been like to loose a sibling. Whether they had been close or not, she could only imagine how that had affected his family.
"My uncle is more of a father, than my father.."
That was the last straw. She walked over to him and wrapped her arms around him, pressing her face to his chest. It was all she could do to try to comfort him. She didn't even know if he wanted comforting, but he was going to get it either way. She couldn't bring herself to tell him how sorry she was because he didn't seem like the type to appreciate that. She mumbled into his chest, a small "I love you" escaping her lips. Then she blushed like mad and stepped away from him going to dig into her draws.
"So... Did you ever go to visit your uncle...?" Her voice was a little harder then she wanted because of the embarrassment, and she hoped he understood that her tone wasn't in anger.

So... Did you ever go to visit your uncle...?
"Yeah.. I did."
Indeed Travis did go spend time with his uncle. It had been wonderful for a short time, he had met a girl. But that girl ended up being bad news, because she had brought upon him a whole gang of asian kids. At first had just been three, but the number increased after Travis kicked the shit out of two of them and ran when the third pulled a knife. That same gang of asians were responsible for his uncle's hospitalization. Travis had gone back to japan shortly before he had returned to 259. And then things even got worse.
"I.. Don't think I told you this.. But when I went to Japan, I got into some trouble with one of the local gangs.. I ended up coming back to the US earlier then expected because my uncle feared that I'd get killed.."
Again he'd stop for a moment and glance over toward his girlfriend. The story was only going to get worse now, and he felt kinda shitty due to the fact that his brother had been brought up in the first place. But he didn't blame her for wanting to know more about him.. And he believed that Sara had the right to know what danger's she could possibly be facing by being Travis' girlfriend. There was definitely a possibility that the Japanese gang was looking for him now, and that they could use Sara against him if they found out about her.
"Anyways.. I came back to the states, and after a little bit I received a call from a Japanese hospital and they told me that my uncle was in the hospital, that he had been severely beaten. He was nearly in a coma. I flew back to Japan as soon as I could.. And when I got there.. A bunch of those gang members showed up. I had to protect myself and my uncle.. So I beat them all unconscious.. Who knows what could happen to me for it. It's possible that they could come to Cali to find me.."

"Yeah.. I did."
Sara dug through her drawers. He didn't sound to happy when he said that. She wondered why, but didn't press it. He would tell her when she was ready, despite the fact that she might want it a little sooner then that. She figured that there must have been something that had happened when he had gone to Japan, but whether he would tell her was a mystery. She hadn't known until this point that he had ever been there. In a small corner of her brain she wished she could question him on what it was like there, but she wouldn't interrupt him. It would be good dinner conversation for later.
And then the talk of gangs started. She paused in her searching through the drawers, but didn't turn to face him. Her eyes remained dropped and on her clothes as she listened. Gangs were never a good thing... Never. Especially when there was a fear of you being killed. Sara, before coming here, had never had much contact with gangs. Back home, there had been none. She had lived in a nice neighborhood, and gone to a nice school. The most dangerous things in those places had been her. The threat of gang violence was foreign to her until 259. And even then, she had never bothered with them, and they never bothered with her. And she had tried to keep it that way.
She heard him pause, and that warranted a glance from her. She had been digging in the wrong dresser anyways. She turned, leaning back against the drawer, closing it with her hip and resting against the hard surface of the dresser as he continued. She crossed her arms as she found herself getting a little nervous about what was going to be said next.
"It's possible that they could come to Cali to find me.."
She had tried to remain quiet and respectful as he spoke. This was a lot to take in. But the last sentence... She had beaten the shit out of people before... Some to the point of being unconscious, but never... people that would... hunt her down. She didn't know what to think. Her arms crossed and her head dropped down, refusing to look at him as she thought about it. She guessed she had two main questions for him.
"Well... First off, I'm not mad, or anything, so know that. If... they come again? You beat them once... You could do it again, right?" She sighed, still refusing to look at him. She didn't know if there was any truth in what she said, but there were people now that would help them if it came to blows. She hoped. You never really knew with these people. But she was sure there was someone who would help... Right? She glanced up giving a small smile and pushed off the dresser to go to the closet. "But... What did you do? And... What do you think the chances of them coming are?" The second question was one of those ones you never expected an actual answer to, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Well... First off, I'm not mad, or anything, so know that. If... they come again? You beat them once... You could do it again, right?
"Possibly.. But who knows. A big difference between the US and Japan, is that it is far easier to get a hold of a firearm here in the states.. When you mess with a gang.. A real gang that treat each other like family, there is a good chance if you assault a member that you sign your death warrant."
Travis' icy blue eyes would glance down toward the ground for a few moments. It was true, from what Travis knew of gangs in the US, that if you touch a member, then you'll definitely get touched back. And if they don't think they can touch you directly, they will try to get back at you emotionally. They could go after your family, or worse. Travis feared that now that he had come to find Sara, and fell in love with her, that it was entirely possible that she could be a target if they really came looking for him. Or it was possible that they could get a hold of a pistol and shoot Travis, since they hadn't been able to kick the shit out of him.
But... What did you do? And... What do you think the chances of them coming are?
"What started it had been kinda stupid.. I had met this Japanese girl, and it seemed she had been spoken for. I was new to Japan, and she was trying to show me around a little bit. But then these three guys came up to us.. And I don't really know what was said, but they weren't happy that I was with her. They started a fight.. I knocked two of them out and the third pulled a knife. I took off then."
He'd pause for another moment. That was all that had happened initially. His uncle had feared for Travis' life when he got back to the house. And that was when he was sent home, he had been shipped off as soon as possible. And Travis almost believed it was a mistake because it seemed like his uncle had taken the brunt of the damage because he jumped ship. He'd move forward, toward Sara and he'd look to wrap his arms around her, his chin lifting slightly so that he could place it upon her head as he held her.
"I don't really know if they'll come.. It's a possibility, I mean they went so far as to hospitalize my uncle just to get me to come back to Japan.. I don't know though. If they do.. I don't want you to worry. I'll protect you no matter the cost."

Sara dug through the closet, moving things from side to side as she listened to him. He had made an excellent point about the gun thing... But... There had to be something. Anything. How about that Qi thing? She still had yet to see anyone use it in action. There had to be someway that it would help or something... And if guns were the problem... Common, look at the school they went to, it shouldn't be to hard to find someone to buy a gun off of there. Maybe they should do that anyways. Not like it could hurt to have one in the house.
But the reason for the whole thing got her. A girl. Huh. She should have known. Ok... So Sara was a little jealous. She had a tendency to be, and it was a trait she didn't want him seeing. Although... He had seen the brunt of it today when she tried to kill him over a rumor about him and a girl. Another deep breath and she was ok... Almost. Ok, no, but she could pretend.
Although she did agree it seemed a legitimate reason to start something between him and a gang. Not the girl part... Well a little of that. But the fighting part. He had taken out two of them, and then more later in the hospital. As far as she had seen so far? That was a no-no. Going to these schools had opened her eyes to a whole new world, and she could understand how something like that could start something, and prompt them to come after him.
As she tried to think it through, she felt Travis' arms wrap around her. Her instinct was to step away before she knocked him upside the head for even saying the word girl in front of her, but when his chin dropped onto her shoulder, it was like she had breathed a sigh of relief. Her arms dropped down to lay on top of his, her fingers playing on his skin, and her head pushed back against him. This just felt to right to stop.
"I don't want you to worry. I'll protect you no matter the cost."
And that was nice. Although she could probably hold her own against many of them? It was a good feeling knowing that he cared that much about her. She didn't think they would come though. He had been lured back to Japan. Chances were they hadn't known where he had gone, and had just hospitalized the uncle in an attempt to draw him out. Chances are they had no clue where he was and wouldn't be able to find him.
She sighed and smiled. He really meant a lot to her, but she knew he could handle himself, no problem. But if she didn't step up and manage to protect herself, there was a good chance that he would get hurt because of her. And she didn't want that. At all. "I know you will hun. I appreciate that, and I trust you. Let's not worry about that now ok? But um..."
Ok, yes, Sara had to ask. She couldn't stop herself. She had tried, but it just wasn't happening. She blushed deeply and stepped out of his embrace, back to the closet, keeping her back to him. "Did you... like her?... The girl I mean?"

I know you will hun. I appreciate that, and I trust you. Let's not worry about that now ok? But um... Did you... like her?... The girl I mean?
Travis watched Sara pull from his hug and hide her face in the closet once she said that. He couldn't help but smile slightly at the thought of her getting all jealous over something that happened so long ago. She was getting the wrong idea though, because Travis and that Japanese girl weren't ever a couple. He hadn't even seen her after that day things went to hell. He would throw his arms out at his sides, and allow himself one really good stretch before his mind wandered to the boxes out, he wanted to finish unpacking, but it could wait a little bit longer.
"I didn't really know her. That was the first and last day I ever saw her."
Yeah, which made that whole incident even worse. He got in all this trouble over a girl that he hadn't even known for a full day. It totally wasn't worth it at all. But there was nothing he could do to change it, he would just have to look past it all and keep his sights on the future, on what would happen between Sara and himself. A small smile would escape his lips, and Travis turn around, and glance toward the suit he currently had laying upon the bed. He'd lift his hands and grip the bottom of his tank-top, and then quickly pull it up over his head. If they were really gonna go out later, he was going to need to shower.
"I think I'm going to hop into the shower, kay?"
Turning around again, he'd walk up to Sara and give her a little peck on the cheek, as long as she didn't have any objections, he was going to get in there, clean up and get out. There was no way he was going to go out and not make sure he at least looked the part of someone fit to go to a fancy restaurant. He'd smirk slightly and as he pulled away from Sara and began to walk toward the bedroom door, those icy blues would glance back toward his girlfriend and he'd speak once again.
"Heh.. You can come if you want."

"I didn't really know her. That was the first and last day I ever saw her."
Sara breathed a sigh of relief, but tried not to let him see. She was glad to hear that, and then immediately felt bad about the feelings of jealousy that washed through her. She felt really bad. It wasn't that she didn't trust him, or that she really cared about his old girlfriends... Not that it mattered in this case, as she hadn't been his girlfriend and lived in a complete other country, but she still felt possessive of her boyfriend. That was what had gotten them into this mess in the first place.
She heard him moving behind her and she turned her head slightly to see him lifting his shirt off. She felt a pang in the bottom of her tummy. He was an attractive guy. She was so lucky. The possessiveness filled her again and she remembered this morning. Everything that had been said flashed through her mind.
"I think I'm going to hop into the shower, kay?"
She turned more to offer her cheek to him as he gave her a quick kiss. A shower was probably a good idea. She should probably get one after him then. "Thanks fine babe."
She went back to digging into the closet to decide what she was going to wear. She decided maybe a nice dress. She wasn't really a dress person, but for tonight, that would work just fine. Then she would pack them both some more comfortable clothes to change into after dinner, and they would go see a movie. She smiled. That sounded like a good plan.
"Heh.. You can come if you want."
She paused, her head turning to stare at his retreating back. Was he... serious? She felt a shiver run up her spine at the idea of his suggestion. She continued to stare after him even after he had left. Again, her mind ran over what had been said today. Maybe... It was time for her to take this to the next level. They had just admitted they loved each other, didn't it make sense that they should move their relationship along? Had he even seen her naked yet? She knew she hadn't seen him with anything less then just missing a shirt. The idea... intrigued her. She went back into staring into her closet. She wasn't sure what to do. She knew what she wanted to do, and it would save time. You know what? She was going to do it. As soon as she got up the courage. She faced the door of her room, hip cocked, arms across her chest as she tried to build the courage.

Travis couldn't help but wonder whether or not Sara was actually even going to consider what he had just said. Yeah, he was completely serious about that. After all, it WOULD save them some time, wouldn't it? Travis had left the room, and wandered toward the bathroom, his hands working to unbutton his pants, as he kicked off his boots just outside of the bathroom door. He'd continue to undress, shuffling into the bathroom so that he could remove the rest of his cloths. And since it wasn't like there was anyone else here apart from his girlfriend, so Travis left the bathroom door wide open.
Travis would remove the rest of his cloths, and he'd glance back out toward the hall for a moment. Maybe she wasn't going to come, he wasn't sure yet. He'd give himself a little sigh, and then open the glass sliding door, and step inside of the shower. Travis would slide the door shut once again, and turn his attention toward the shower head. His hand would work quickly, turning the water on. He was a little picky, it always happened to be hot. Not scolding hot, but he'd be damned if it was cold. That just wouldn't work out.
He'd let the water wash over him, and his hands would lift to his head, eyes closing for a moment as he let thoughts roll over in his head. There were a lot of things on his mind at this time. His girlfriend, the brother he no longer had, what happened in Japan. All in all, today had probably been a very educational day for both of them. Travis had finally learned a little bit more about Sara's family, and she had learned the same about his. On top of that, he had actually worked up the courage to tell her that he loved her. It kind of surprised him that he had actually been able to do that.
Travis' hair dampened, as the water washed over his head and body. He always felt so damn comfortable like this. The shower was one of the few places he could really relax in. He didn't quite understand why, but the water always felt so refreshing to him. The only thing that would make this better, was if Sara actually decided to join him. He wasn't so sure she would though. She seemed so shy at times. But he found that cute. Very cute indeed. And that's when those thoughts came into his head again. He couldn't help but let his mind wander toward her body. He'd quickly shake his head, as if trying to get the thoughts out of his head for the moment. But it really wouldn't work.

Sara continued to stand there, arms across her chest as she heard him doing what ever it was he did before getting in the shower. She closed her eyes taking a deep breath. What a day this was turning out to be. She really would like a nice shower though. Her back was hurting. Quite badly to. Her back was hurting, and so were her legs from her little climb across the ceiling bars. That hadn't been smart. The bending had hurt her back, and she knew very well that a shower would make it better. A nice hot shower... With Travis...?
She took a step forward when she heard the door to the shower open. Her eyes opened and she glanced around the room. She wanted to do this. She did. But she was shy. She knew he wouldn't turn her away, that he would welcome her, and very happily to. But she couldn't shake the fear that he still might reject her. If not verbally, then he might be thinking it. And she would never know.
The water started and she took another few steps, her heart beating out of her chest. She now stood at the door way. She looked down the hall, towards the bathroom door. He had left it open. Well there was one problem down. She had been concerned about the door. The idea of it had made her think of all those movies where the girl goes to the shower because the guy is in there. Some knocked, some just walked right in. The fact that the door was open saved her that problem.
Well. If she was going to do this, she needed to do it soon before he finished in the shower. He would probably be surprised that she had actually come. This made her blush, her mind going again to the fact that he might reject her- OH! She knew what dress she was going to wear! The green one!! The change in though allowed her to take another few steps towards the bathroom. See? This wasn't so bad. She could do this.
She was so close now. She closed her eyes and walked until she was outside the bathroom door. She peeked in, noting that the door was closed. She pulled back, looking up and down the hall as though she expected her mother to pop out of the shadows and scold her. Her fingers played with the bottom of her shirt. Deep breath and she pulled it up and over her head. See? No mother. Not so bad. Off came the rest of her clothes, pooling on the hallway floor. And then, like someone walking the plank, she took the final step into the bathroom.
She could feel the warmth from the water in the air. The water was going to be hot. Just like she wanted it. Her hand reached out to the door and slowly slid it open a crack. "Hunny....?" Her voice was extremely quite, and she doubted he even heard her. She had to do this though, she wasn't turning back now. So as quick as she could, before she could think about it anymore, she pushed open the door and stepped into the shower with him, her head held down, staring at the tub floor as she slid the door closed behind her.

Hunny....?
Travis had heard the sound of the sliding door open, and felt the cool air from the outside slipping through the crack. He'd pull his head from under the water and turn his head to watch Sara step into the shower. She was looking down, and it was clear that she was completely embarrassed. And Travis fought with himself to make sure that his eyes didn't travel right away. He didn't want her to get even more nervous and decide to back out now or something. Course, he was only male.. He wasn't going to be able to fight the urge to look for too long now.
"Glad you're here, babe.."
Turning, Travis would face her without the thought of himself being naked even crossing his mind. He was rarely embarrassed, he didn't even care that he was naked right now. His hands would move forward and he'd grab at Sara's side, a small smile on his face as he'd stare at her, watching the way she reacted. Travis couldn't help but love there. In his eyes, there was nothing wrong with her. He enjoyed just about every minute he spent with her. He'd lean forward and give her a little kiss, and then step back from the water for a moment so that she could go ahead and get under it.
Travis wouldn't be able to fight himself forever ya know, and those male instincts would take over. He'd glance downward casually, and couldn't stop the small smile of his from widening slightly. After all, she was a very attractive female. He'd try and make sure she didn't catch him staring though, he didn't want to make her more uncomfortable then she already might have been. But it was impossible to avoid looking at her body for a very short time. Course, he'd pull those eyes away as he turned slightly and grabbed for the soap nearest to him.

"Glad you're here, babe.."
The sound of his voice made her shiver, knowing his gaze was on her. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw him turn. Her eyes immediately closed knowing that if she looked she would be able to see his... Oh god. This was embarrassing. To embarrassing. She was fighting the urge to run as his hand touched her side. His touch caused her to freeze like a deer caught in the head lights. Except for the fact that she was still shivering despite the warm air in the shower.
She saw him lean forward and she instinctively turned her head up to him, receiving his kiss on the side of her mouth. Not surprising, she blushed deeper, her head dropping back down to stare at their feet. His feet were much bigger then hers. That only served to make her feel... feminine. Perfect. Just what she needed. At least it didn't make her feel small. There was just something about the difference in foot size that made her realize just how female she was... and just how male he was. This prompted another though to enter her mind.
Her eyes moved to the side. Her glance was quick, but it had only served to reinforce just how male Travis was. She knew his eyes were on her, and it was like her body was on fire under the gaze of his eyes. She could picture how intently he would be staring at her with those blue eyes of his.
She took a step further into the shower, her body turning to the water. He had moved for her to use it and she was going to take advantage of it. She walked forward, her back now to him, and the water hit the top of her head, but being a girl was hard this way, especially being short. She had to turn back towards him or the whole time she would have water in her eyes. A deep breath and she turned to face him, her hands lifting to her hair, running her fingers through it, and then wiping the water from her face. The water on her felt nice though, and it was hot, like she liked it.
Then her eyes looked up at him, and her arms fell to her sides, held slightly open. She would give him a small tentative smile and wait for him to come to her. Her arms would lift slightly, indicating that she wanted him to come to her, hug her, hold her. Share the water with her. Of course, the thought did cross her mind that there would be nothing between them. But that was fine.
