((OOC: I couldn't find your living status on your bio, so I am assuming you live in a house in the residential area. If this doesn't work at all, or you think I'm meta-gaming by finding your house, then pm me.))
So, here it was. Ethan had spent some time lately looking through address books, school files, hacking, research, et cetera...he'd found where David Blaze lived. It had taken him a fairly long amount of time to track this place down, but now he was ready.
He wanted to test himself against David to see how much stronger the other was. Ethan would fight him plenty of other times of course to measure himself. Going in, the results would unfortunately be inevitable, but Ethan was no coward, nor a stranger to pain. He needed to know what he was up against. And he would continue to do so until he found a weakness, a vantage point he could exploit. The day would come when Ethan would need to be able to take his life when needed to, and right now he couldn't do that.
Ethan was garbed completely in black from head-to-toe, boots, gloves, jacket, shirt, pants and all. He wore a baklava mask over his head and black shades to hide his facial features, so he would be completely unrecognizable.
Ethan watched the house nearby, hidden behind another one, completely engulfed in shadows. There were no lights on, so either he wasn't there or or was asleep. Judging by the fact that it was quite late at night (past midnight), it was likely to be the latter.
Ethan moved silently and stealthily from one house to the other, taking cover behind some foliage so he wouldn't be seen. From a pocket he produced a small metallic ball with a trigger. It was a gas bomb that he'd ordered from a contact, small but a little heavy. When triggered, it would release a large haze of gas that caused both lachrymatory pain to the eyes and also a burning sensation within the throat. A mixture of chemical agents that were harmful to the human body. Too much exposure could be potentially lethal.
Pulling the trigger off the top, Ethan chucked the small bomb deftly into a window on the top floor, breaking the glass. Five seconds later, gas billowed out through the opening into the air, completely engulfing the room it had entered. It would sweep all through the rest of the top floor of the house.
While outside, Ethan crept invisibly and silently as the smoke did its work to the other side of the house and threw his other bomb, this time into a lower window. Now the entire house would be covered in the toxic vapor.
Ethan would creep back into the rear part of the house, opting for the back entry. Producing a lockpick, Ethan broke the lock quietly, waited a little bit and then opened the door slowly, steadily to keep the silence.
He assumed that David would have found a way to protect his eyes and mouth and would be fine. The smoke was only a cover for Ethan to break in. Much of the dark-grey smoke was still in the air though, so making Ethan out as he moved through the house to find him would be difficult. By then, Ethan would be on top of him. It was time to find David.

David awoke, his eyes slamming open as the tinkling of glass could be heard.
Suddenly, to his left, a large billow of smoke loomed upwards.
He immediately inhaled and held his breath, turning his head and slamming a fist against the drawer next to him, right at the side. The drawer popped open, a inside was a high caliber Handgun- Desert Eagle, silver. He withdrew it, and without waiting, Got up and broke for the second story french doors. He was currently staying in the house he had bought for himself when he first arrived- one that was registered for practical purposes. He had a business meeting, and needed people who were able to find his house. He hadn't used it in the past since people were out for his head, but he went with it because he felt safe again, felt like he could live there what with having done away with said people.
Obviously, he still had people to worry about.
He kicked clean through the window, took a step on the rail, and jumped into the air, landing in the twenty foot deep end of his underground swimming pool. He had tossed the gun mid-air so it wouldn't get ruined, and swam to the shore, coming up quickly and exhaling. He picked up his gun, and would wait for the individual to come out of his house, in which case he would point the gun and speak calmy, breathing heavily from having to hold what it for so long.
"What can i do for you besides putting a bullet in your head?"
David didn't joke around- he had killed before.
and if this was an assassin, he would do it again.

Ethan was inside the house now looking for his target. Judging from the small splashing noise he'd heard just now, he figured David must be somewhere in the pool area. Such a large, lavish place. He wondered how someone like David could have procured the funds needed to buy a house like this in such a nice neighborhood.
Now Ethan knelt next to the glass door to the swimming pool. He could see David outside. He appeared to be holding something that Ethan couldn't quite make out in the darkness. It was probably a gun, but that seemed somehow strange to Ethan. David hadn't seemed like the type to use a gun on anyone, he was far too nice for his own good. Perhaps this was his true nature. There was only one way to be sure.
Ethan slid up next to another window, one that had been left open for a gentle breeze to come in. Ethan drew two of his only other pieces of equipment from two crossing bandoliers under his jacket: small but very sharp throwing knives. He flipped them in his hands so that he held them deftly by the tips of the blades. Coming into a full standing position, he dashed in front of the window and hurled both knives at the outline of David near the water, one aiming for his throat and the other his chest. He wanted to see how fast he was to dodge moving projectiles, and if he did have a weapon.
David might have had experience dealing with assassins, but Ethan was one himself. He'd had plenty of practice breaking into people's homes and then killing them for his Master. Of course, he hadn't had a formidable target like this before.

David followed the movements of the shadow within his house, his lights popping on at the sounds of breaking glass. David spent fortunes on security- you never could be too careful. Of course, the place was hazy, thick with acrid smoke, and he could only barely make out the shape of the man who suddenly hurled himself through the door. His hands flew outwards, and David's eyes drew down. So, he was a killer. How many times had this been tried on him before? Derek Failen, Nicholas Cypren- Both steady assassins and hired to kill him when he went to 809 and 259.
The first time had worked- he had the scars on his legs to prove it. The second time almost had him- and now this boy was trying the same thing. Of course, it was to be expected, assassins liked knives. He pivoted his body, turning it so his side would be facing the attacker, the knives flying through the air where his body had been. His anger peaked. Fool. David cracked his neck, then pointed the gun, unloading one bullet. It would land three quarters of an inch to the left of the agressors head, the time and movement being swift and sure. He was not new to guns- no, he trained with them all his young adult life, in secret. David had the ability to be an assassin himself, and thats just what he worked for- to make sure nobody would be able to catch him off his game.
"I guess Those knives answered my Question." He aimed the gun for the mans heart.
David wore his boxers and a tank- his clothing wet but not really heavy. On his feet were full slippers- leather outside and soft wool inside. They fit tightly, and were comfortable. He bought them just for this purpose- in case of broken glass or if he needed to run. He began to walk around the pool, coming up to the man when he was about twenty feet away.
He looked over the figure. Height, weight, etc. The man or woman seemed small and agile, able to move quickly and find his target. Typical.
"Do you want to remove your mask? Or shall i shoot you in the leg and remove it myself?"
The last bullet, planted by his opponents head, was a warning.
This time, he wouldn't miss.

"Do you want to remove your mask? Or shall i shoot you in the leg and remove it myself?"
They stood facing each other a few feet away next to the swimming pool. This was what he wanted. A real challenge.
Chuckling, Ethan drew several more knives from his bandoliers, each one held between his fingers as he held them in closed fists "Only if you think you can hit me, David."
Ethan would then sprint at David, though not directly but zigzagging from side-to-side. It was more than running, but rather deft footwork of strafing left and right quickly. Add to the fact that now he flung one fistful of knives at David and then the second one, he would have to multi-task between shooting at him and dodging the many knives coming at him. It was a short distance that could be cleared quickly in a full run.
Once he reached David, he would pivot and twist off to the side, drawing his last knife (holding it sideways for slashing) and using it to slash the gun out of David's grip, then as he came about from the twist to face David, he would knee him in the chest to get him to double-over. If he did, Ethan would flip the knife so he held it normally to stab him. If none of his blows connected, he would roll away, keeping low and a distance from any retaliatory action.

Davids ears perked. Where had he heard that voice before? He flipped into a back-handspring, Kicking the first knife up that was sent at him. Then, upon standing, turned and held his gun so the side would be facing his adversary. As the knives flew, David held his ground and used the side of the gun, not bothering to concentrate on the man as he deflected every knife sent his way, moving his head in order to dodge one or two. Rather than worry about holding onto anything, David would retract his hands after dropping the gun, so the man in blacks swipe would pass through the air. David would then use that right hand that had been holding the gun to dart out and grab the boys elbow, pushing it further in the direction he had been swiping in order to throw him off balance. The his left leg would shoot out and, using his sudden positioning, initiate what what would be a variant of the Back leg Sweep. If sucessful, He would step away, leaving his empty gun where it lay. Thats right- there was only one bullet in the chamber. Why? Because generally he didnt fire warning shots, and assassins never learned to come in groups. He would instead wait for the boy to regain his stance, before turning his body so his side would be facing the child. "This will be your only warning- you stand a far better chance without the knives. Take that as you will, but take this as i speak it- either way. You cant win." And with that he would listen to whatever meager rebuff the boy spat out, and further insuing patience for an action from this male.

Ethan was attacking full velocity, but he couldn't seem to score a single successful strike on David. What was it that caused him to react to oncoming threats so quickly?
Ethan felt his arm be snatched and moved away from the intended target. Soon after, David's leg came out and swept out Ethan's from underneath him, but if nothing else, Ethan was hard to knock down on his back. He threw out a hand under him before he could fall, and he flared out his legs in a defensive spinning pattern (similar to what Connor had done before in their previous fight) to drive David back, though he already seemed to be backing off.
Coming neatly into a standing position, Ethan stood once again with David.
"This will be your only warning- you stand a far better chance without the knives. Take that as you will, but take this as i speak it- either way. You cant win."
Ethan's eyes glanced down through the dark shades at the knife in his hand. He still hadn't dropped it.
No knives? Fair enough.
Ethan's hand shot out like a snake as he ran again, flinging the knife straight through the air at David. They were standing much closer now, so it would be harder for David to dodge or knock the knife away without getting cut. Jumping forward into a somersault, Ethan would land in a hand-stand, kicking out with his feet at David. This would at least push him back a bit, even if he did block it (he probably would).
Coming up again, Ethan would be much closer into David's personal quarter, backfist-jabbing him repeatedly in the face, throat, forehead, eyes, etc. If he tried to grab the attacking hand, Ethan would punch out with the other.

Davids eyes darkened. It seemed every warning he gave the child went untouched, unnoticed. The male was determined to, one way or another, continue this fight with him, a battle he could not win. Very well. If a fight is what he wanted, he would get it. David was, as stated, standing with his side facing toward his adversary, minimalizing the chances of his being hit should the boy throw the knife, which, of course, he did. David pivoted, bringing his left leg back to the front. He leaned slightly to the left and, as though in slow motion, the blade cut through his shirt and barely, barely scratched his skin. The kid was fast but his movements were typical, easy to read. It didnt take a genius to realize that, once his arm flung out that a knife would be flying his way. Of course, this move put himself slightly off balance, so he expected to take at least something a little more damaging from the exchange. Rather then attack him with punches or kicks, his opponent went to a handstand/summersault and attacking by kicking at him. David frowned in his mind. Was it a woman? Usually only girls tried the exagerrated gymnastic movements. Or perhaps this guy was just trying to confuse him, since his voice sounded perfectly like a males? David reached out, grabbing one of the legs. The biggest mistake this guy could have done was put his back to an enemy. Davids body would move fluidly, and put this boy into a position that would cause irrevocable damage to his body. David would take two quick, large steps backwards, pulling on the leg and jerking the boy down flat on his back. This would likely be unexpected and very hard to counter, especially in the fellows totally unbalanced position. David would lay down on his back, gripping the right leg of the assassin under his left armpit. His right foot would go nearly under the mans butt, and his left leg would swing around onto the chest to pin him down, his right hand coming to the mans left knee to help stabilize his hold. He would jerk back with his entire body in a move known as the Pankration, or Achilles leg lock. This move would, with the amount of force he was putting behind it, rip and tear the achilles tendon. David was a martial artist, and studied jujitsu during his MMA experience. His wrestling was nearly unmatched, and he could destroy parts of the boys body in seconds. He would lock in this move professionally, like it was second nature, and before this boy knew it he would likley find himself in agonizing pain.

The knife proved ineffective as even at the short distance, David flexed out of the way of the moving blade, only being slightly cut by the blade. It had to be that Ethan's attacks were too predictable; was that it? He had to find a way to catch him off guard.
The hand-stand kick didn't do it, but rather made things worse. David dodged one leg and caught the other one, pulling him forward so Ethan would be forced down on his back.
A tinge of slight panic caught Ethan. Although he wasn't a wrestling-type fighter himself, he'd been pitted against trainers who had used such techniques on him. At one point, as a small child he remembered not being able to walk for a week after falling into a trap like the one he was in now. Grapplers were one of his greatest weaknessess, as he preferred to constantly keep on the move when fighting, and didn't do quite as well when on the ground.
He saw David's left leg try to swing on top of him to keep him down, making it impossible for him to move and escape from the lock; Ethan threw up an arm and pushed against the leg, straining. With his free arm, he pushed himself further upright so he wasn't quite flat on his back.
Twisting his body, Ethan would quickly try to spin out of the lock, loosening David's arm grip on his leg. Of course, if that didn't work, Ethan was attempting to roll himself towards a nearby knife on the ground that David had deflected away. It was closer to himself; if he still wasn't out of it, Ethan would reach out and seize the knife, trying to stab his way out.

It all sounded well and good. Roll over and grab a knife.
However, what ethan may not feel or realize was that the hold David had on his leg was meant to protect against that. His elbow and shoulder would be pressing down on the top of his enemies foot, and his hands and arms positioning would put his ankle in a total vice. Should Ethan feel that his ankle was held in such a way, he may be able to continue- if he put too much force behind his roll, the ankle would strain and snap, braking the bone clean. David could feel that he had the advantage here- this boy did not want to wrestle him, and that was the exact purpose of David catching a grip as soon as possible. Most assassin type figures took pride in thier speed and stealth, but next to none could compete on the ground for lack of strength in the body.
David, on the other hand, trained himself in all aspects, and was ready for what was to come regardless of the type of fighter he was pitted against. the only individuals he found hardship with was those whose pain and bodily endurance was exceptionally high, since he wouldnt be able to actually hurt them, though he may know how. That, of course, was the same deal for every person who was pitted against someone like that, and he guessed thats why people were so tough these days. they knew what was needed to win.
Whether ethan continued his attempt to roll or not, David would still move. His right leg would come from under Ethans backside, and wrap around the boys upper right thigh, right at the hips. He would use that, then, as his pin down, and then would continue to jerk back, again attempting to shred the fellows tendons.

David was right--Ethan didn't have much leverage to purchase movement with that grip. But all he needed was a few inches, really being lucky more than anything. Ethan attempted the roll a bit, only managing to get around on his side before feeling a strain on his leg. Just a little closer...
But David wasn't exactly inert. In this situation, he had complete control and of course he asserted it. Ethan felt David's other leg come onto his upper right thigh. Knowing that he needed to break free, now, Ethan reached out for the knife, his fingertips coming onto the knife. Suddenly he felt a certain stress pulling on his leg, starting to grow into pain. His tendons were going to be ripped.
Ethan slid the knife closer to him, getting his hand on the handle as the pain intensified. He was almost finished. Holding back a gasp of pain, Ethan gritted his teeth and brandished the knife. He would stab repeatedly into David's leg until he was released, then he would try to roll away from David.
((OOC: Sry, last post was a rush job. Try to work with it.))

David was not dumb. The bodies, laid out flat as they were, gave him direct line of sight to every upper body movement this boy made. As the kid struggled to grab something, David surmised that there must be a weapon nearby. He would releaase his grip with his right arm and, unwilling to let this go with just the damage he had done so far, punched the kneecap of his adversary. If it didnt crack or rbeak, it would be injured at the least to the point where movement would cause stabbing pain. Then David would retract his right leg from over the thigh and hips and kick right at the kids groin.
Then, and only then, would he completely let go of the foot, just as the fellow would turn with the knife.
He placed his hands at his sides and crab walked backwards, keeping his eyes locked on this kid. He shot to his feet, ready to move or dodge should the fellow throw that knife again. He waited, breathing through his lips and keeping himself under severe control. He analyzed what the damage might be to the boy. He held that hold long enough that he might have torn the muscles. At the very least, the kids claf and achilles tendon was hyper-extended, as well as the muscles on top of the calf bone. He had, at minimal, a slightly damaged knee which would cause pain when you lean on it, and a kick to the groin. Over all, a good exchange. He knew this- the guy would have little to no more running. David would smile.
"If you give up now, i might just let you walk away without broken bones."
He cracked his neck, then shrugged.
"Your choice boy, but take it as a final warning. I wont give any others."

The knife, if nothing else, got David's attention. Before he could bring the blade down on him, David brought another large fist down on Ethan's knee-cap, sending a shockwave of pain lancing up Ethan's leg. But, because they were both lying down on the ground, it didn't seem like the other could get all that much leverage behind the punch, so Ethan's knee was at least intact, though hurt.
Ethan pulled back on his leg, snapping it back to be freed and rolled away from David, taking the additional kick from David in the back. Another heavy blow that would leave a temporary mark, but much better than taking it in the groin.
David came into a crouching position(?) while Ethan came slowly to his own feet. He placed a hand softly on the leg that had taken the full brunt of the damage. He didn't clutch it in pain, but rather assessed how he still stood against this adversary.
He still wasn't quite sure of the full extent of the damage, but his leg felt strained and very sore, practically throbbing. He would have to keep in close range of David; if he went for something like a gun, Ethan would be entirely at his mercy. But, he felt maybe he could do a few more kicks against him before the pain forced him down, though it narrowed down many of his options. He certainly had limits, and as the fight went on it would probably continue to be a problem for him.
"If you give up now, i might just let you walk away without broken bones."
David cracked his neck, then shrugged.
"Your choice boy, but take it as a final warning. I wont give any others."
Ethan gave off a very small, noncommittal shrug of his own. Such a smug, arrogant oaf. It vexxed Ethan to no end that he was already losing to him. But there was no way he was backing off again, not this time. He was done giving ground to the bastard. He would resume fighting until he no longer could. If he died, so be it; it would be a loss for the Paladins, but they could take it. It would only mean they would have to either find and train a replacement, or adopt a new approach entirely.
Ethan had a knife in his hand again, and he fully intended to use it. He began circling around David. He twirled the knife around in his hand, around his fingers, around his wrist. Faster and faster it went until it was a silver blur under the moonlit night sky. He began passing it deftly from hand to hand, sneakily advancing toward David in half-steps while his knife-trick would hold the attention.
Ethan would attack once he was quite close to David, pulling two feints in one. His blade-holding hand came up like he was going to stab downward at David, while at the same time his good leg came up allegedly to kick him in the chest, though not high enough to stress his bad leg.
He did neither. Instead, his free hand would snatch out at one of David's wrists, while Ethan snapped his blade-holding hand like a magician, the knife sliding up abruptly into his arm-sleeve.
Skirting quickly around David behind him while holding his wrist, Ethan would pin David's captive arm behind his back while wrapping his own other arm around David's neck in an armlock. Twisting David around, he would sweep out one of his legs to trip David into the pool. As David would have his back to Ethan while falling in, he probably wouldn't be able to grab and drag him into the pool with him. Ethan would flex his arm to bring out his knife back into his hand and slash David's back right before he fell in.
If it worked and David fell in, Ethan would back off and let David climb back out. Not out of a sense of fairplay, but because it would be foolish to try to wrestle David in the water.

'Oh good lord.' Davids thoughts opposed the look that splayed across his face. A strict, adhering glare that would give off the intended feel- they had passed the point of no return. There would be no talk, no mercy, no more attempts to get this fellow to think properly. He would break this boy, make this child succumb to the darkness- then he would remove the mask and memorize the face of his assassin. In case the question comes up- Davids thoughts were a direct effect of the fiends mission to distract and confuse him. After well over a hundred Battles, a hundred fights, the blood shed- he was not one to simply become confused or fall prey to a tactic such as this. So, rather then state the obvious and break his rule of silence, David took two deep breaths, waiting for the kid to come closer. Now he would step it up. OOC((I am going to assume the knife hand is the right hand.)) David stepped left, bringing his right leg along so he would totally pivot clockwise. He snatched out with his right hand, grabbing the kids arm at the wrist. He twisted it slightly clockwise, keeping the grip tight and making it impossible for the boy to place the knife up his sleeve. At the same moment, his left arm came up over the top of the assassins extended right arm. David bent the kids arm in the direction the crook in the elbow intended, locking in a hold and giving him complete power. Next, he slam his right knee clean into the kids solar plexus, snapping the leg back down after ward. Then he would twist the arm down and to the left, taking the boy clean to the ground. This movement, from the moment David grabbed the boys wrist to the moment when he attempted to take him to the ground, was known as the Sinking Python.Once this move was completed, David would cause the boy terrible pain, for now he had control of an important limb. And he intended to break it.

((OOC:Hmm...I'm not sure where in your post I get to retaliate, so if it's kay with you, I'm going to do this...))
A sudden resolve seemed to grip David, as a certain hardness now took hold in his eyes. He now appeared to not let Ethan even have a moment to advance on him, as he now grabbed at Ethan's knife-hand by the wrist and stretched it out, while at the same time, bringing his other arm over Ethan's. Now part of Ethan's movement was arrested.
He's going to try and take me out now...how long can I hold out against him...
Ethan instinctively brought up his knee to counter David's. Ethan gritted his teeth. David was in a much stronger position to do it than Ethan was, and so his knee felt like it got hammered on.
Slightly letting out small exhalation of air from the pain, Ethan brought his leg back down before David could do anything else. Quickly, Ethan would cross his left leg behind his right one, and kick David in the side, mentally blocking out the rising wall of pain coming from the stressed leg he'd be leaning on. He probably wouldn't do all that much damage to him, as he'd inadvertently kicked David in that same spot at the park before, and he'd practically shrugged it off.
However, Ethan would apply enough force in the kick to at least pry David off his arm. If he was successful, Ethan would pivot from the kick around David, slamming his elbow into the back of David's head, then pivot in reverse back to his side and horizontally slash David across the chest with his knife. A quick three-hit attack.
