OoC: My apologies for taking so long.
As Sin kept her way, rushing forward behind the "culprit", she found herself laughing inside. There was this sense of fulfillment she had, that for one - the students seem to be believing her. Especially now that they've seen the the culprit wasn't her.
Technology was absolutely wonderful, isn't it?
Of course, the culprit wasn't exactly very fast - for one, she wasn't even supposed to be running. This woman was more or less interestingly running in a funny manner, kind of how a drunk man would run. It wouldn't be surprising that Patrick's rock would basically hit her just a bit off the mark - by her back, causing the attacker to stumble and trip.
It was interesting. It was as if the assassin had little control over his own body. The attacker would then pull herself up, as the students began approaching. The hood of the dark drapes would slid off, revealing a familiar woman.
"Aha!" Sin said, "So you're the culprit, Clavering!"
Yes.
The hood was off, revealing Layla - who looked quite dazed, actually. Sin smirked and looked behind her, "Take a good look kids, here's your fucking Ms. Assassin." Layla didn't look any different, or defend herself with anything.
It was almost as if she was under control by something.
Almost.
After several twitches, the blonde doctor would resume running, almost as if she wasn't aware that the proximity between her and the students were now almost non-existent. It was almost as if she was making it a bit too easy. Was she really the assassin at this state?
Layla wasn't herself.
Sin knew why.
And as Sin cocked her gun, she would wait until the students held her down.
It... was all too easy.
Strange.

A rock sailed by overhead, Victor watched as it his the shooter, then the shooter's identity was revealed... the school nurse? okay that seemed a little... strange, then the woman ordering them around pulled out a gun, as if she wasn't very trustworthy to begin with, why did a school official have a gun? nothing was adding up, and victor lacked knowing what to do...
he looked behind him, only the irish kid had joined him in pursuing the culprit, everyone else had either been shot, or was tending to those who had been shot.
The nurse began running again, but the run looked... all to familiar to Victor, who had seen altogether too many people run while they where plastered. now why would a shooter show up to somewhere so public and start shooting while drunk? no that couldn't be right, no one is that stupid.
Break knew two things at this point. 1) something was wrong, and it wasn't the shooter 2) he didn't trust this "sin" woman in any way shape or form. He stopped running and came to a stand still about a foot behind sin, he didn't make any motions toward her, but watched her gun hand and where it was trained. "Take the shot!" Victor shouted, the nurse was close enough that this "sin" girl probably wouldn't miss, unless she totally sucked at shooting, in which case Victor would have to ask for the gun, and maybe do it himself... but somewhere in the back of his mind, he was really waiting for the girl to turn around and begin shooting at other classmates, hence why victor stayed so close, his eyes watching diligently on the gun to see what she may do with it. He knew she'd probably try to hit him first, but he was ready for that too.
and so we wait...

Ethan was ahead of most of the people who had chosen to follow, falling somewhere between wherever the Patrick kid was who had thrown the rock and where the tall blonde-haired boy and the woman was.
He edged off to the side, behind a nearby pillar. He wasn't quite sure he even wanted to get involved at this point or if he really wanted to join this fight. He decided for now he would continue to watch and wait.
The rock, more or less hit its target, knocking the shooter down for a few critical seconds. The gunperson took to their feet again, but not before their hood fell away for one moment. It was the local school nurse, Dr. Layla Clavering. Interesting. Ethan wouldn't have suspected someone like that. There was something strange about the woman's body language--she didn't appear fully cogniscent(sp?), like she wasn't fully aware of what was happening. She resumed running.
Ethan made a split-second decision to act, though he didn't really know why other than that he was simply there and he felt a compulsion to do so.
As the woman would pass by the pillar while running, Ethan would emerge from behind it and try to surprise her with a twisting reverse roundhouse-kick to the side of the head to knock her back a bit towards the others.
Right at that moment, Ethan would hear someone shout, "Take the shot!" Swearing, Ethan would flip out of the way immediately after hearing it to get out of their firing range. The kick would hopefully send the assassin reeling back towards whoever also had a gun.

The scene seemed to play on all around Adrian, although the boy was rather oblivious to the lot of it. The only thing on his mind at the time was getting Kate to the school infirmary, where he could make sure she could be stabilized until she could be transported to a real hospital. There was nothing that could break Adrian's concentration from this one single task.
Nothing, he though, until he saw the woman he was taking Kate to in the first place, suddenly revealed as the shooter.
Adrian's eyes darkened in anger, and his teeth flashed in a feral snarl. Surely a woman dedicated to healing people couldn't be so vile as to also be the one to kill them, but here it was, as plain as day, walking around in plain sight in front of his face.
This, however, struck an odd chord within Adrian's mind. Most of the people who knew Dr. Clavering and were in attendance had been shot, and almost all had passed out from the pain. Adrian may not have known her personally, but he had seen her before, at Winklewood's PE Class, and from this short chance meeting, he gained the knowledge that seemingly no one else currently awake had; the knowledge that gave Adrian a huge advantage in knowing where everyone stood. His eyes narrowed as the thought crossed his head.
Dr. Clavering can't fucking walk.
This thought then coupled with Adrian's earlier notice of Sin's now-incredibly accurate depiction of the killer as a 'she', despite supposedly not being privy to knowing anything about the killer beforehand, and, now, whereas the others may have had some suspicions about Ms. Sin, Adrian's mind had already been made up. Even so, he still couldn't erase that niggling doubt in the back of his mind. After all, it was very possible Dr. Clavering had been fooling everyone all this time by pretending to be paralyzed, and it wasn't like Sin didn't have a 50/50 chance of guessing the shooter's gender. Maybe Adrian was wrong about all this.
He began to walk closer to the scene of the showdown, still unsure what to think. Who was the real enemy here? Sin or Clavering? Despite everything, there was still no clear answer, and as such, no clear path to take.
Fuck it.
"Hey, catch!" Adrian suddenly shouted, throwing the limp body of Kate towards Ms. Amelia Sin from her left side. The arc of the throw would put her over the range of the gun, but she would be forced to react in some way, either move out of the way, drop the gun and catch Kate, or be toppled over by the falling body. Adrian let a little sigh. He knew he'd catch hell for that one.
As soon as the girl left his hands, Adrian took off at a dead sprint towards Ms. Clavering. He knew he wasn't fast, but he didn't have to be. He simply insured that he took between the path of Sin's gun and the school nurse before turning towards Clavering. Without breaking his stride, Adrian would grab the doctor in his arms, just as she was flopping forwards from the boy's stealthy kick. He would grab her closely, pinning her arms to her sides to keep the gun out of play, and would continue to run down the courtyard, not knowing where to go, but simply knowing that this whole scene was beyond surreal, and he needed to get the good doctor out of there as soon as he could.

ooc: sorry for the inactivity. europe and summer classes and time changes are a time suck. lol.
Tash had been out of it, watching while the people who had been shot were taken care of. Everything had exploded at once: and not just in the way of gunshots. She berated herself mentally for letting herself get all shocky. She wasn't the sort to do that normally. Usually she was the - get done what needs to get done - sort of girl.
She managed to quit worrying about Nick and the rest and tried to catch up on the action. That little shit Ethan had taken off after the cloaked assassin, but she had to hand it to him he was dead fast and agile as hell. He did a good job of slowing down.......Dr. Clavering? Now that just didn't make any sense at all. At first Tash felt a spark of anger: what the hell kind of school was this? This woman was supposed to take care of them.
Then she noticed, as she was bound to given her habits, the Dr.'s appearance. If Tash didn't know better she'd say the woman was faded beyond all belief. She looked disoriented and seemed aware of her surroundings through a kind of haze. But there was a dead look in the eyes that Natasha didn't recognize - a look that scared her. Still, one thing was plain as day. Dr. Clavering was not herself. There was something going down here that wasn't kosher. Not kosher at all.
Her eyes tracked the woman Sin's form and she reaffirmed her assessment. Not kosher. The woman was packing....a school official with a firearm going after a faculty member who looked blazed to beat the band. There was something up. And then guns were not helping in the least. Those guns needed to be taken out of the picture. Her father having been a Marine she knew a thing or two about guns. Someone needed to do something.
Tash darted towards the pillars, trying to keep out of sight. She'd been out of the action for a while so she was hoping she'd get away with this maneuvering without becoming the center of attention. A blonde boy was carrying the girl who'd been shot and launched her at Sin, lunging for Clavering. This gave her a chance to try something risky. She darted in, coming up abreast of the blonde who had a hold of the Dr. and managed to blurt out.
"Give me her gun. The guns have got to go. I can take it apart!" As his concern seems to be the woman he's now carrying, she hopes he won't argue. If he doesn't comply she doesn't have time to waste on a gun being carried away. Sin will have to do something about the girl flying at her and she won't be thinking of the weapon in her hands for a very short while. If she can't get Clavering's gun, she'll go for Sin's. Tash wasn't altogether convinced that the cloaked Dr. was more dangerous than the administration appointed pixie with a pistol that had set today's mess in motion.

Hiyami froze. She'd simply stood there, listening, being a good girl - doing what she was supposed to and all.... But when the shots had rang out, she'd plain out frozen, her mind whirring.
The shooter landed not too far from her and it looked like the school doctor. Hiyami though that she wouldn't be too far off the mark if she said it was Clavering. She heard the woman shouting orders, but, as did most of the others, she paused. This looked and felt like a set up. That's what her instincts were screaming at her, anyways.
The doctor looked drugged. She could say that confidently because she'd seen so much of it. The doctor either was or had been drugged. For sure. And... the way Sin automatically went for her gun - hell, the way Sin was facing - pointedly away and then towards - Clavering... It all screamed into her mind. She heard some of the others talking about it, too. No one trusted Sin. Something was wrong her. Very, very wrong.
And Hiyami wanted to get to the bottom of it... But first she would help the wounded. Violence was still bad, and the wounded were ultimately in more danger than the doctor. After all, someone had the doctor with 'em.... And they were getting the hell outta there.
She couldn't really see the people that had gotten shot. At maximum, there were four. She'd heard four shots, so assuming said culprit was a good shot, that was four people down. She headed for the closest one: Ryuu. She didn't know him, but she knew of him. And his friends, and his girlfriend.
After all, the strong were often spoken about in their school. Being a weakling, she'd never run into any of them before, but perhaps she could help? She'd had to deal with wounds within the last... two years... so surely she could be of some service.
She stripped off her shirt, grateful that, today of all days, she'd worn an undershirt. As she moved towards the fallen form, she ripped her shirt into strips, grimacing as she saw his left shoulder.
Hiyami moved quickly, divesting the boy of his top[s?], and quickly worked to bind his wound. It was in his shoulder - she wouldn't be able to cut off the circulation, which made things tricky - so she couldn't do anything but bind it.
"Damn." she muttered under her breathe as she worked, ignoring all the fuss and bustle around her. "Damn!"

Pine kept working to stop the blood coming from Damien, the boy who spoke up after him. Was there a reason Pine was not shot and this boy was? Was this student so important that he merited a large caliber bullet to the gut? So many questions Pine would like answered but knew would never really be answered.
Many of the students were still chasing the shooter hoping to catch the person. Chasing down someone that had just shot several students was not a smart idea. For one they could have another weapon on them and it took almost no time to draw, ready and fire a pistol. If the shooter knew how to aim, it shooting the fastest pursuers would be like shooting fish in a barrel. Eight rounds in eight seconds on eight targets that would have to process what was going on then think fast enough to dodge. It wasn't likely any of them would have been unscathed had the shooter chosen to fight. Then again this whole situation seemed far to convenient for Pine's taste in dramatic events.
Pine had slowed the flow coming from Damien enough that he could move on to three other people that seemed to have been hit in the crossfire as the bullets went through their primary targets or by the frantic students trying to run away. Nothing too serious a bullet through the arm here, one with a gash on his head...The list went on. Pine stopped as he heard yelling, it seemed they had caught the shooter. Pine could make out the hair and the face enough to see it was the school nurse. Pine just stood there and watched the scene unfold. A gun was cocked, a student thrown, another running with the shooter, and a general amount of confusion and shock. Still, there were even more questions coming to play. The first was why would Sin cock a weapon in front of the students? On top of that why would she make as if to shoot a now caught accused? If the person was caught they were turned over to the police. The second was why had this student run off with her? What the hell was really going on here?

'Fuckin idiots, all of ye', The thought ran clearly through Patrick's head.
Of all the days. Patrick wished that he had a gun on him. If he had his Mk. 23 on him he would end his instantly. A bullet to the head of the shooter, which appeared to be claverling at this point, and the one that just pulled the gun, that sin woman. That would end this little disagreement instantly. But now he found himself in an incredibly dangerous situation. There was a woman with a gun and Claverling on the ground. He didn't trust the Sin woman to begin with and now especially he knew that something was up now that she pulled a gun and Claverling was revealed with a less then "able" bodied appearance.
None of the idiots here knew what to do. The idea was to stay out of the line of fire not to get shot. He was particularly pissed at the kid that threw some girl at the Sin woman. Why? Because that was stupid. It would buy time but other then that it did a good job of achieving nothing but pissing off the person with the gun and not disarming them. That was bad, firing a few shots into the crowd of students would end with bodies. The uncertainty annoyed Patrick. He didn't care about any of the bodies but his. As long as he could get through this day without being shot then he would count that a a personal victory.
As the kid threw the limp body of kate at the Sin woman Patrick would move to make sure that he was on her right side before she turned to the body coming to her left. She would most likely turn to the left so Patrick made sure the when she did he would be behind her. He also made sure that he was about ten feet behind her. Right now he was playing the fool. Acting that everything was stanrge and unfamiliar. He let fear and excitement cross his face. In reality all he felt was excitment. He was going to wait for her reaction before he took any further action. Though he was intent on disarming her and pending on her reaction to the body he would be on the move, or he would be left in waiting...

It was perfect. The students were believing her. At least, some of them were. Most of them were obviously quite torn, and Sin wouldn't blame them.
But all in all, it was working perfectly, and she could only mentally grimace at that joyous fact. Maybe she'd get her revenge on Ms. Clavering after all?
Keeping her ground, she had already cocked her gun and already aimed it on the limping rival, who was obviously under "some sort of drug".
Oh, but it wasn't any drug.
It was Sin's drug.
"I'll have my vengeance on you yet, Clavering." Sin thought, "Let's see how you'll feel when your precious students would be the ones to ultimately destroy you." Her fingers would then almost press the trigger - just almost, when one of the students (Adrian) decided on which of the two doctors he should be protecting. He threw Kate onto Sin's arms; and since Sin had absolutely no intention of letting go of her gun for a mere student, it only made Kate's weight making her arms move downward, shooting the floor instead.
"THE FUCK WAS THAT FOR, KID?!" Sin said, turning to Adrian, her face feigning much frustration and anger. Damn, she missed her chance. No matter, she would have to improvise. She didn't notice Patrick having gotten closer from behind, at least for the moment.
Layla was already around two meters away, still limping when Ethan kicked her right on the head, sending her backwards - and also, snapping her out of her confusion as the nanobots that were clinging onto her brain were basically put out cold.
The doctor would've fallen on her ass, but Adrian had quickly pulled her away. "Wh-what is going on, Mister Hanlon?" She asked as she was pulled away. She was limping badly, and her hands were shaking at the expense of energy.
Yes, Layla was truly paraplegic, but the thing is - she's already recovered somewhat. "Why am I wearing black?" Thing is, she hasn't worn much of anything black since Shinichi's death - but that was something not many students know, if they did anyways.
"Give me her gun. The guns have got to go. I can take it apart!" The European cosplayer would look at Tash, confused. A gun?
Layla would lift her hand to see that she had been carrying a gun of high caliber, and threw it away in shock. Bad idea, since that could be interpreted as throwing away evidence right? Well, the barrel was emptied anyways.
"What is going on!?"
"Stop pretending, Clavering!" Sin roared. "The students all saw what you did!"
"What I did!?"
"You shot down more than 10 students," The woman said as she went to block Adrian's way. "... and not only that! You shot down quite a few more." She then looked at Adrian sternly, "Give her to me."
...
"I said, give the doctor to me."
Layla looked at the Hanlon pleadingly - she would never do such a thing, would she?
Would she, really?

As Adrian scooped up the doctor in his arms, it seemed the kick had, somehow, snapped her back to her senses, at least for the moment. She looked up at the boy who was carrying her, as confused as anyone who hadn't been occupying their body for the last few moments would logically be, and began to ask for an explanation. At this point, a girl Adrian didn't know came up and asked for the gun, and Adrian would've damn well given it to her, had Layla not looked at the gun herself and disgustedly threw the firearm off to the side. Adrian didn't put too much thought into it, he was too busy moving forward.
Abruptly fast, Ms. Sin suddenly stood in front of Adrian, getting between him and his destination of nowhere. He paused, knowing better than to try to plow past a woman with a gun. She told Layla of what she had done, and Layla seemed as shocked as anyone else was when she had been revealed in the first place. Adrian's face fell somewhat.
"It... it's true, Ms. Clavering. Or at least, I think it is... some people were shot today."
Adrian let his words hang, in part because he didn't like to be the one to tell Layla about this, and also in part because, at the moment, Sin was demanding the release of the good doctor.
Thus would begin the stalemate of the century.
Amelia Sin stood in front of Adrian, weapon in hand, asking in not so particularly polite terms for Dr. Clavering to be let go and handed over. Students were hovering all about, the last one to even consider attempting something, Patrick, was now too far to do anything. Everyone was far enough away so that, if they made a move, Adrian and Dr. Clavering would likely be shot dead. And yet, even so, Adrian's light blue eyes never left the brown eyes of his attacker, and his arms refused to leave their position around Ms. Clavering. Adrian's eyes narrowed, and he first addressed those standing around.
"Please, everyone. Just stay back, don't even think about doing anything. She's got a weapon, and we don't. Anything rash, and the good doctor and I will likely not make it out of this alive. So if you please."
The words were polite in and of themselves, but they were spoken in a direct, almost forceful manner. Adrian wasn't asking people to kindly not interfere, he was, in subtle terms, demanding them not to, for his sake as well as Layla's. Finally, his words turned towards the woman with the gun.
"As for your request, Ms. Sin, I've given it considerable thought..."
Adrian paused, and let a long sigh pass from his lips. He turned around, shifting Layla so that she was, once again, in between himself and Sin.
"But I believe I'm going to have to decline your offer. If you want Dr. Clavering, you're going to have to shoot me."
An audible gasp came up along the crowd, and even Layla herself appeared to be shocked at the situation, as she opened her to protest. Adrian, however, stopped her with a sharp, hushed voice.
"Please, I know what I'm doing... I think. Just keep your head down, keep me between you and her."
While Layla would doubtless not be too placated by his words, Adrian hoped she would at least listen. For now, Adrian would walk, slowly and deliberately, away from the scene. Once again, he didn't know where to go, or what to do, and in fact, he very much expected to have a few bullets put through his back for his trouble, but even so, better that than have this farce play out as it was.

Ethan had stood by quietly without intervening after halting the Doctor from making her escape, staying out of the line of fire. Now he stepped out from the shadows, desiring a change in events. Somehow, he felt a need to assert himself in some way that he couldn't explain. He felt a sort of strange anticipation in his arm, as though it quivered to destroy, to change.
He assessed the situation briefly. Dr. Clavering tossed aside her weapon. Ethan might have made an attempt to seize the gun for himself, but he could see that it had already been discharged of ammunition. However, he did make note of the fact that the weapon had landed closest to him. While Sin was distracted by Clavering and the blonde-haired boy holding her (Adrian), Ethan took very small, unnoticable steps towards the gun on the ground.
Ethan's eyes narrowed while everyone else gasped in surprise. Fool. Was this the best he could muster as an ultimatum? He was at much greater risk than anyone else. And why was he making an attempt to save the assassin?
Ethan stepped forward, his voice commanding, but not shouting.
"Stop."
He first looked over at the boy who had Nurse Clavering.
"I don't know who you are, but you don't get to just walk out of here with the good nurse. In fact, you seem quite interested in carrying her off to safety, considering what she just did. Are you affiliated with the assassin?"
Now he turned his attention towards Sin, now with his foot right next to the gun, which he slid under the barrel.
"And you. You must know who she really is. Don't lie to me. I can see right through you." His hazel eyes bore into hers. He knew nothing himself, but now he was only stalling for time.
Ethan appeared relaxed, though in fact he was ready to attack when or if necessary.
"Tell me...who sent you here? What is your connection to this woman?"
If she appeared ready to shoot him, Ethan would kick the empty gun up into the air and throw it like a boomerang, aiming to knock Sin's gun out of her hand. He would then rush forward and send a flying knee to her face. He was just close enough to where he believed he could sprint towards her and catch her before she could recover her gun.
But for now, he would wait for answers.

Wake up... I have to wake up... If I don't wake up, I'll lose the ability to open my eyes again... And I'll never see her again... Ryuu's eyes flew open, though all the blood loss left his vision slightly blurred. At first, he didn't know what was going on, all the screams and shouts around him, were all swirled together into one big mass of sound. He barely even realized that he had been stripped of his shirt. He struggled to sit up, only to shout as he felt a jab of pain stab his shoulder, his right hand automatically moving to grip his left shoulder in pain, forcing him to flop back down on the grass. His eyes shifted left and right, as his gaze fell on the girl beside him, who was wearing only an undershirt. Ryuu was slowly beginning to become less disoriented as he laid on the ground, the pain in his shoulder still throbbing, as he spotted strips of a ripped shirt beside her, and he realized what she had done.
She had torn her own shirt, as well as taking Ryuu's own shirt off, to bind his wound. "Wh...who are you...?" Ryuu asked in a low voice, still weak from the hit he had taken. "What happened to me... What is going on here...?" Once more, he tried to sit up, though this time, he sat up slowly, and after a few painstaking minutes, he managed to sit up, though his face was covered in sweat from the effort of it all, as he coughed and spat out some blood to the side, as he continued to hold his left shoulder in his right hand, wincing slightly from the throbbing pain in his shoulder. Were... were there others that got hit as well? If it was just me, it wouldn't be this chaotic. There has to be more people that got hit. The question is though, who else was hit? "Was anyone else hit?" He asked the girl, looking at her, Ryuu was for the most part, okay, though he was slightly weakened from taking the hit. "I need your help. I need you to help me stand up."

Hiyami was sweating, a bit nervous. She'd been concentrating too hard on binding his wound, so she'd been surprised when he'd stirred and attempted to sit up. Hiyami winced in sympathy at his cry of pain, and did her best to support him when he went back down. She'd sat back to give him a bit of space, simply relieved that he wasn't out for the count. She didn't know what she'd have done if he hadn't, because she sure as hell wasn't strong enough to cart other people around.
"Wh...who are you...?" he'd asked her. She noted that his voice was weak, and regretted that she didn't carry water about with her. "What happened to me... What is going on here...?"
"My name is Hiyami," she said calmly, hoping he wouldn't spontaneously slug her or anything. Most birds with broken wings did peck their tenders, after all. "You were shot, and everything's officially gone to hell. Sin says the killer was Dr. Clavering, but that doesn't make sense. Anyways, Dr. Clavering... something's wrong with her.... And it looks like a setup no matter how I think of it, but we're stuck with what we have."
She started when he sat up - he really shouldn't be moving with a bullet still lodged somewhere in his chest. Or was it? She stared for a moment, thinking quickly. If the bullet was still there, he wouldn't even be moving to sit up or down. She could assume that it had gone through, but a quick glance around showed her nothing. Maybe someone kicked it away, her mind told her. Maybe you shouldn't get involved in this.
"Was anyone else hit?" he asked.
Hiyami nodded. "I heard some screaming, and I'm pretty sure there's at least a few people out of commission, especially with the way people have been running around in a panic."
Then, he looked at her, quiet for a second, and Hiyami got nervous. That kind of look usually led to things that didn't necessarily have healthy, wholesome, and clean ends.
"I need your help. I need you to help me stand up." he said.
Hiyami mentally swore. "You really shouldn't be moving, you know," she told him, even as her arms immediately moved to help him up. "You really, really shouldn't."
And she sincerely believed that. But then, from the deeper recesses of her mind - parts that she hadn't heard from in years, she heard a single thought: But that's what's right.

Ryuu's eyes shifted to the side as he saw the girl react in surprise the minute he woke up, and then tried to sit up, only to fall back to the ground, with some assistance from the girl, who supported him , as he clutched his shoulder in pain. She then moved back, giving him some space, as a single bead of sweat ran down his face while he laid there, letting the pain slowly fade away. "N...nice to meet you Hiyami... I'm Ryuu..." Ryuu replied, his shoulder still throbbing slightly, which was a good thing for Hiyami, since she wouldn't have to worry about him spontaneously slugging her, he couldn't even if he wanted to right now. "That's right... I remember being shot, and hearing students start to shout and-- What!? Dr. Clavering!? Gaaaah..." Ryuu exclaimed, before clutching at his shoulder once more in pain, as he breathed in heavily, letting the pain subside once more. "...Dr. Clavering... would never do something like that. She couldn't..." Ryuu trailed off, he too, had a feeling this was definitely a setup. Someone was clearly trying to destroy the good doctor's name and reputation, but a feeling was all Ryuu had.
There was no actually physical evidence that someone was trying to hurt Dr. Clavering's reputation, but Ryuu trusted that Dr. Clavering would never do anything to hurt the students, not voluntarily and of her own will anyways. He then tried to sit up, which caught Hiyami's attention. He really shouldn't be moving... if the bullet was still lodged in his shoulder. But there was no bullet to be found anywhere, and no one besides Hiyami and Victor had come near Ryuu at all. So what gives right? Well, the thing about that bullet... it wasn't a bullet at all, it was actually a tablet in the form of a bullet. But given that no one, besides Sin and Dr. Clavering, knew about it, all the students, besides those who had been at the hospital, would naturally believe it was a bullet. "Damn... there were other casualties..." Ryuu cursed under his breath, as he then looked her, before asking, no, more like pleading, her to help him stand up. Ryuu however, was mildly surprised when she began to help him up, even though she told him he shouldn't be moving.
"I know... But I have to find out for myself just what is really going. Something is definitely going down, and Dr. Clavering will need all the support she can get. I have a bad feeling... the students are starting to lose trust in her, and trusting that Sin woman more." Ryuu replied, as he used Hiyami as a bit of support to get up. He struggled slightly, as a bead of sweat ran down his face, but after a few painful minutes, he finally managed to stand. "... I need to go to where Dr. Clavering is. That's where we should head to..."

Adrian heard everything happening around him, but detached-like, as if he were hearing it through a dream. He could see all in front of him, but he could barely register it for what it was. He could see the Asian boy he called Hero (Ryuu), laying on the ground, shot and in pain, being helped by another Asian girl. He could hear people looking out and worrying, the hush that seemed to fall as Adrian let himself walk directly into a stalemate.
However, somehow, more clearly than everything else, he could hear the words sent directly to him. He couldn't see the owner of the voice, but he knew it didn't matter who it was. The answer would remain the same. The boy told him to stop, accused him of being in league with the shooter. However, the boy wouldn't get so much as an answer, or even much of a reaction; and he especially wouldn't get the reaction he desired.
Adrian took just a few more steps forward, and without even turning to acknowledge the boy, he would speak two words.
"Shut up."
And without breaking stride, he would continue forward, away from the situation. His teeth gnashed together, and those who were in front of him would be able to see why: During the exertion, Adrian's shirt had become unbuttoned, and the bandages covering his own gunshot wound had been revealed, and the flowering redness over his side marked to any in sight that his own wounds were reopened and bleeding. Anyone who knew Adrian knew he'd never show it, though, not unless there was nothing left in him but the pain.
