Everyone is free to watch and post as they please. Interference is fine, but is not exactly encouraged. :P THIS WILL BE A FIGHT FOR LOVE!!!!! Lulz.
Emily sat by the front row of the spectator's seats. Apparently, she had called Trizen to challenge Ryuu to a fight right here. Emily would be responsible for overseeing the fight and for making sure they would follow the rules that she would then later provide. Emily had worn her ballerina's dress for this occasion, that green soft-flowing dress that she had ever since 259. She looked pretty, at least.
There she waited, hoping Trizen did as she told him to. After all, she wanted to test both their abilities.
"This will be very fun."

Ryuu stopped at the edge of the gym floor, his hands in his pockets, his black Japanese school bag on his back, before sighing. The minute he had walked out of class, Trizen had called out to him, asking him to for a fight after school in the gym. At first Ryuu looked at Trizen incredulously, but walked off, not giving him an immediate answer. Only after continuous badgering, did Ryuu finally give in, and accepted. And here he was, in the gym, after school. He stepped forward, as his gray overcoat swished slightly, and walked onto the gym floor. his footsteps echoing slightly with each step.
He saw from the corner of his eye Emily, who was sitting by the front row of the spectators seats. He locked eyes with her, as he nodded slightly in acknowledgment. He didn't know why Trizen wanted to fight him, but Ryuu had a feeling he'd find out soon enough. Stopping at the outer edge of the circle in the middle of the gym, Ryuu kept his hands in his pockets, a calm but focused expression on his face. Whatever reason this fight was for, Ryuu wouldn't take it lightly either way.

((This would be before Mr. Orange quest and after the "Thriving" thread.))
A little earlier that day, young Trizen took his assignment to heart. The boy had done an original tactic and used his influence to start a circle of rumours. It worked. Through the morning, students were whispering about a fight that was suppose to go down in the school gym. It was going to be a big fight, according to students, and many of the ones who were fan or unwritten disciples of Ryuu, asked him almost religiously if he was going to fight Trizen.
Of course Ryuu said no at first. Of course he would ignore the rumours for the simple reason that they were rumours. But Trizen had a different game in mind. Instead of Trizen pretending to first ignore the rumours, he himself would accept the challenge based on the fact that OTHER rumours were going around. Sons of multi-billion dollar titans were going to duke it out in the gym. Why? Because it was Ryuu who had said some smack towards Trizen. Bad smack. Smack that'll get any kid revved up. Even worse, it was about his mother. In his mind, Trizen loved how this was going, though he knew he'd have to play the part. The last part of the plan was for Trizen to physically call out Ryuu to settle things. Everyone knew Trizen never to pick a fight, but they also knew Ryuu to be kind, respectful and very much honourable. It seemed they both crossed the line of their own morals.
In the present, the gym doors would open slowly. It was Ryuu indeed. He stopped at the outer edge of the circle in the middle of the gym and kept his hands in his pockets. Interesting. Trizen was on the opposite side of the circle with his arms folded and a serious look in his eyes. The boy felt a bit like a mercenary, or rather a shinobi, as he saw his target. The only thing was that he was reminded of his father. The secrets of the Shenmue Clan and their daily assignments as shinobi. Though his father was different. His father... well, that history lesson would serve for another time.
"I'm glad you could make it, Ryuu," Trizen said in a serious tone, one the Hikari boy was certainly not used to hearing from him, "Today, we fight. Its been a long time coming, you should know that better than anyone else."
There were students sitting down behind Emily now. Mainly fans of Ryuu. He was hot, he was sexy and he was seventeen. It was that dangerous age before he became eighteen. The girls loved it. He had fangirls. Did he even notice? It was like a movie! Trizen was still young. He was somewhat new to the school. The boy kept himself out of any sort of notice most of the time, though was known in the school for being a remarkable musician of sorts, aside from the new rumour that Trizen had taken down one hundred students during the riots earlier that semester. Whether it was true or not, Trizen kept himself out of the limelight, but was nice enough to everyone that he had some kind of influence on them.
Now they waited for Emily to speak. It was her turn. She wanted them here, and they were.

The knights were lined up and ready. Beautiful. It was all working as Emily had intended. These two boys were very righteous people, and of course making Trizen pull his strings to make this fight happens was something Emily was looking forward to, actually -- to gauge how influential he could be. He seemed to possess some level of influence, Though apparently Ryuu's fangirls seem to be everywhere. >_> <_<; Noisy fangirls. Most of these girls were asians, and considering that Ryuu really does look like a Japanese model it didn't really help. Boy, it was going to be a hard time controlling this crowd. Fortunately for Trizen he had his share of supporters as well. Influence had done it's game. What's next? Strength. Emily wanted to test their abilities and strengths as it was. None of those hullabaloo items that more or less enhanced them. In the end, none of those will matter. Emily stood, her white hair flowing softly as she took a step forward and raised her hand to shut the crowd up. The greatest of all the three Militia members present here, was Emily's own, so they immediately died down. She didn't use it much, but she used it well. "Good afternoon." She said, "I'm glad you pulled this assignment off well, Trizen. However, the true test will begin now."She smiled, pulling out her fans and held them with one hand each. "You two are to fight. The rules are simple. You will remove any articles of clothing that enhance your abilities. You may not use any weaponry of any sort, because I will provide you with them." Emily's hands would fling her fans toward the two, the fans skidding across the floor and stopping exactly a feet from where they stood. "You can fight as you please on my mark, but should anyone interfere it will be your problem to intercept it and manage. Understood, gentlemen?"Emily could admit at this point that she was having her share of fun. This was the perk of being a leader figure; being able to watch these sort of things. "You may begin when you're ready."The then sat down, leaning against the fence and started to watch. Boy, this was going to be really fun. OoC Rules:
- No items are to be used. Use your raw stats for this fight.
- Hilaga and Timog are to be your weapons.
That's it. Have fun. I'll be posting every now and then, but please don't wait for me to post.

"..." Was Ryuu's response, as he continued to keep silent, not out of disrespect, but because he was focusing, letting his mind prepare itself for this fight, "... Just don't hold back on me." Ryuu saw from the corner of his eye, female students sitting behind Emily, while he did notice he had fangirls, he never made a big fuss out of it. He then saw Emily stand, as the crowd died down, as she told Trizen she was glad he pulled this assignment off. Ryuu's eyes flared slightly in surprise at this, before turning back to calm. No matter, assignment or not, a fight was a fight to him. Ryuu nodded at Emily's rules, as she flung her fans to them, sliding across the floor before coming to a rest about a foot away from them. Ryuu pulled off his gray overcoat, leaving him in his white jacket, black shirt with a white cross design, blue jeans, and his worn down black Converse shoes. He tightened the black flameproof fingerless gloves he wore up, as he clapped his hands together, preparing his Qi, before picking up the fan.
This was nothing new to him, Emily had been teaching and practicing with Ryuu Tessenjutsu one day each week, and he in turn, taught and practiced Kenjutsu to Emily. So the weight of the fan did not bother him, because he was already used to it by now. "You may begin when you're ready." Ryuu nodded at this, before turning back to face Trizen, before closing his eyes, focusing and breathing. He held the fan in his right hand, blocking out any noise in the gym, before his eyes snapped open, and he ran at Trizen at a consistent speed, one that would allow him to dodge or change directions if he needed to. Gripping the fan much he would with his own bokuto, Ryuu used the length of the fan slightly to his advantage by swinging it in a tight arc, aiming for Trizen's ribs, while at the same time, keeping some space in between the two of them, his left hand kept close by, allowing him to react to any attacks Trizen would send his way.

Delilah stood behind Emily with her arms crossed over her chest, watching with a bored expression on her face...but it sure didn't look like Delilah. For one thing, she was wearing brown contacts to disguise her eye colour. For another, she was dressed head to foot in what she called 'Wetboy grays", with only a hood cast over her head to dissuade any prying eyes. The 'grays' were bulky and hid her curves, making her genderless. They consisted of a feathered gray cloak with many different shades, and blended better with the shadows than any other form of concealment gear. As her face was not completely hidden by fabric (the upper half of her face was shaded) she stood in the shadow, watching the two men below her passively. It had been a while since Delilah had thrown on such effective camouflage. If she wished, she could probably take out half the people in the stadium without being seen. Tempting as it was to try it, she had a job to do. Exhaling slowly, Delilah turned her attention to the fight.

So they were here. All gym was actually starting to fill up, and Emily had stood to address the fighters. Firstly, she congratulated Trizen on getting the first bit of the assignment finished. He nodded once in thanks, though that part was not much work. Getting people to talk was nothing when thinking about the movements and intentions of the opponent. Trizen had seen Ryuu fight and he was certainly very aggressive. He held nothing back. The boy would think about these things as Emily spoke. "You two are to fight. The rules are simple. You will remove any articles of clothing that enhance your abilities. You may not use any weaponry of any sort, because I will provide you with them."The weapon landed in front of Trizen's feet. His left foot stepped on the edge of the fan and made to play with it like it was a soccer ball. He played a light, quick game of keep up before, with a noticeably harder flick, he shot it up to catch at chest level. His eyes still on Ryuu. "You can fight as you please on my mark, but should anyone interfere it will be your problem to intercept it and manage. Understood, gentlemen?" "Yes ma'am." Trizen replied politely as he untied his arm guards and lightly placed them on the ground. He untied a few other items then neatly picked them all up off the ground. Walking over to the side of the gym, where his other stuff sat, he placed them there and came back to the circle across from Ryuu. Trizen tied his hair back as he could feel the time coming. The moment of notice. The energy in anticipation that said-- "You may begin when you're ready."Armoured in training attire, Trizen Takano had Emily's fan in his left hand. Seeing Ryuu with the other, he placed it in the groove of his sash and stood ready for the fight. When the Hikari boy's eyes snapped open, Trizen's eyed focused even harder than it had before. Ryuu attacked with the fan. Trizen figured this much. A weapon was a weapon. Since it was accessible, most fighters took the opportunity to use it in hopes of them having an advantage. Ryuu used the length of the fan slightly to his advantage by swinging it in a tight arc, aiming for Trizen's ribs. Young Takano moved his torso back with minimal space between himself and the fan, then in same motion moved in to handle Ryuu. While his opponent's arm followed through, Trizen used the combination of speed and power to push the upper portion of Ryuu's elbow. In common time, Trizen's left hand made ready for an Iron Palm to strike the right side of Ryuu's ribs. ~~~~~~~~ Stats w/o items:Strength: 35 Dexterity: 40 Constitution: 30 Intelligence: 40 Wisdom: 30 Charisma: 22

Ryuu had to hand to Trizen, he was fast, as evident by when he dodged his first strike by moving his torso back, he then moved in to strike. As Ryuu's arm followed through, he felt Trizen push against the upper portion of his elbow, while his left hand prepared itself to strike. But Ryuu had been keeping an eye out, noting Trizen's body movement, and adjusted accordingly in mere minutes. But first things first. While Trizen was pushing on his elbow, Ryuu would snap his right arm back, now behind him, freeing it from the force Trizen had been exerting on it, as he snapped the fan into his belt, leaving his right arm free. While this was happening, since Trizen's right arm was still in motion, Ryuu took this opportunity, as his left hand shot straight out, extended his index and middle finger, aiming for the back of Trizen's right elbow, and considering how close in proximity the two of them were, since Trizen had moved forward, it would be quite difficult for him to dodge it, though anything was possible.
If his strike connected, Ryuu would pull his left arm back then duck underneath Trizen's right arm, coming up on the outer side of his arm, before flipping off him in an attempt to come up behind him, and try to strike the base of Trizen's skull with his left hand. Ryuu wasn't going to use his Qi, not yet at least. Trizen hadn't seen Ryuu's Qi, and Ryuu highly doubted he knew about it either. His Qi would be his trump card, he was going to save it for later. For now, he would stick to mixing up the two fighting styles he knew, karate and Shifting Dragon, and if the two of them ended up fighting with the fans, his Kenjutsu and Tessenjutsu training. Trizen may be stronger and faster, but Ryuu was trained in the use of weaponry, and knew a style of fighting that not even Trizen would know, for the Shifting Dragon style was taught to the Hikari family, and ONLY the Hikari family. No one else. Ryuu wasn't going to let up on his strikes, he was going to give this fight his all, and see it to the end.

(OOC: This looks amusing.... XD)
Gabriel walked over to the small grouping with Emily and Delilah at its head. It looked to be as though a fight were to break out. Interesting. Upon closer inspection it of course had to be his favorite group of people looking much like the old Militia once more. That fact alone brought a grin to his face. Looks like fun.
Gabriel's feet brought him beside Emily. He was quiet almost a ninja you could say. But he expressed his presence with a relieved sigh. "So what 'did you have those two going at it for?" He made a small chuckle without shifting his vision from the two, it'd been awhile since he'd seen a fair fight it would prove to be interesting.

Trizen smirked on seeing Ryuu's initial reaction. He fell for it.
'Speed and power... just like me,' The boy thought to himself as he felt Ryuu's resistance to his right hand's push. 'Technical, not brash. Not yet. If he's putting out all this energy now, he has more up his sleeve.'
Trizen knew Ryuu well enough to know that he had more techniques than shown. Ryuu's display of forward motion and power allowed for the raven-haired sophomore to keep his mind on the far more technical aspects of fighting. Interestingly enough, it would be those smaller secrets that he hoped would give him what he needed to get out of this soon to be striking frenzy.
Now Trizen's arm was pushed back, probably at about the top of his own torso's height. The boy's eyes landed on Ryuu putting his fan away. That certainly took a little bit of time, which Trizen indeed needed. Ryuu may have taken minutes to adjust to Trizen's style, but in actuality, that was far too long. Especially in the heat of the moment. The Takano boy was not about to dodge what he read to be incoming from Ryuu's left hand. Instead he would massage it. He tilted his right elbow down ever so slightly incase, and just in case Ryuu's hit was coming about. The two fingered attack would skid off and along Trizen's triceps. However it was doubtful.
As much as Ryuu successfully resisted the pressure of Trizen's right arm, the time it would have taken for him to snap his fan in his belt (after such resistance), Trizen's left hand would have successfully landed its Iron Palm against Ryuu's ribs -- though in this case the attack would have landed on Ryuu's arm (luckily for him). The force from the attack would have surely knocked Ryuu some distance from Trizen, which was the goal -- aside from there being some pain.

Ryuu smiled slightly, just because he was focused on the fight, did not mean he wasn't paying attention to the little details in the fight, in fact, his mind was in strategy mode, helping him to come up with strategies to use. As Ryuu's strike came in towards Trizen's elbow, he saw him lower his elbow very slightly, but that wouldn't matter, all Ryuu had to do was slightly adjust the trajectory of his arm, and his strike would be back on target, the back of Trizen's elbow. While this was happening, Ryuu noticed in the last minute Trizen's left hand come swinging out, he swung his right hand out in a downward jab, aiming to slam down not on his fist, but on Trizen's forearm. The strike did connect with Ryuu's arm though, sending him skidding back slightly, but not enough to prevent his left hand from hitting the back of Trizen's right elbow. There was still some pain though, which made Ryuu wince slightly, as he brought his right hand back in front of him, but it didn't matter, he was going to eat the pain, work through it, and push onward.
The crowd was now roaring loudly, either cheering for Ryuu or Trizen, but Ryuu had already blocked out all the white noise, the only thing that concerned him was the Japanese boy in front of him who was his opponent. Now that the two of them had some distance in between each other, Ryuu used what he had noted around him, including the gym floor. The gym floor was varnished, but the painted lines? Not so much. What was Ryuu possibly planning? You'd have to wait and see. Ryuu strafed to his right quickly, putting even more distance between him and Trizen, as he noted where Trizen was standing, as his right arm, which was hidden by his body and close to ground, passed over the painted circle, Ryuu made a small flame about the size of a lighter appear on his index finger. Dragging his finger close to the ground, the flame made contact, immediately beginning to spread, following the path the circle of paint made just as Ryuu reached the outer edge of the circle, just out the line of the flames, which weren't very high, only about a foot high, as the flame on his finger disappeared from sight.
People were probably wondering, where did the flames appear from? They would be left hanging, as Ryuu got into his stance again, once again standing sideways, his legs spread apart shoulder-length, his left hand in front of his face, but his right hand was hidden by his body. The blows he had exchanged with Trizen made his body temperature slowly rise, so this small use of his Qi wouldn't affect him at all. And after all, he still had his more powerful Qi to use, but he would use it later on, or when he truly needed it. He waited to see what would happen next.

Tash was wandering by the gym, a half finished joint dangling from her fingers and a pleasant high making the day that much better when she heard the cheering. Curiosity got the better of her and she mosied on over, peeking in and being momentarily confused. Ryuu? Trizen? But that didn't make any sense....Ah...
It dawned on her when she saw a white blonde girl standing there apart from the crowd. She appeared to be overseeing the combat. Gladiators! How fun! Now that shit was classic sport. But who would she cheer for?? She giggled quietly and set her bag down by the door before joining the spectators. Some of them she recognized. Gabriel had helped her fix her car. Both of the boys fighting, she'd met. Ryuu had started the band she supposed she was now in and Trizen she'd met briefly in the halls. Oh well, let's cheer for them both.
"Yeah boys!!!!"
She whooped, her voice half lost in the crowd. Didn't matter if they heard her or not. She was here to watch.

Victor was out underneath the spectator seats when he heard a voice, he went absolutely quiet, this could be something important. Nevermind the fact that he was just back there for a smoke. He put the cig out and pocketed it, his hand resting on the cool floor of the gym. He heard emily first, "this will be very fun"
Then he heard the others come in, one by one. Slowly he got up, snaking his way out from underneath the bleachers. Reminiscent of his fight club days he went up to the seats, the only thing even close to as fun as being in a fight was certainly watching one. He saw Tash as the closest person as she cheered out to the both of them. He walked over, sitting down. "so whats all this about?" he asked with a big grin

((Saw the message you left earlier today, Ryuu. There was a bit to change, but it's cool, I'll leave it be. Let's see where this takes us.))
When Ryuu made the skid back, Trizen was satisfied. Ryuu was as good a fighter as he saw him to be. He remembered Ryuu during the riots and how fierce a marvel he was to those opposed him. The boy rubbed his right elbow a bit, the blow not doing too much of anything, though he did feel the intention. Any harder and Ryuu would have damaged Trizen's humerus. Interesting.
Now Ryuu was acting suspicious. His way of strategy was by being sneaky. Well, surprises did intend for one to be sneaky and if Ryuu was going to attack head on, he would have done that already. The older boy was confident in his striking. What did he have up his sleeve? As Ryuu walked anti-clockwise around the circle, Trizen did the same. Fortunately, or more luckily for Trizen, Ryuu's first attack had come to Trizen. The pair of them were fighting closer along the skirt of the circle. He didn't like how obviously quiet Ryuu had become and knew something was coming. Though THAT was a surprise.
A flash of heat was coming towards Trizen, and in good sense, he made a small sized leap backwards and landed a step or two from the outlined flames. The circle in the middle of the gym was now a ring of fire, but Trizen didn't feel like having barbecued feet.
Ryuu was standing and watching to see what Trizen would do. Though in clean conscious, Trizen knew Ryuu was going to make a move. It was clear the Hikari boy's Qi was fire based. Trizen had no sort of surprises in store, at the moment. If he was going to try and attack Ryuu, that would force him to go around or through the ring of fire. Not fun. Not to mention Trizen didn't know to what extent Ryuu had control over this element.
'Interesting...' Trizen thought to himself as he kept his eye on Ryuu and decided to take another set of steps back from the ring.
"Ryuu, you're gonna have to do better than make a fireplace." The boy had no smirk on his face, he didn't take kindly to intimidation. "Wait... are we going camping? No wait... Three'd be a crowd."
Trizen was opening that subject of three. The one he knew Ryuu would know best.

Emily blinked, as Ryuu had a bit of show for theatrics but well. She figured that was okay. Emily had everything prepared, even had the fire department on speed dial if and only if someone used their Qi and it got out of hand.
>_>
<_<
Hopefully, that wouldn't be the case today. Emily didn't really look anywhere else but the match. The two were doing splendidly, and so far up to Emily's expectations. She hoped Ryuu would consider not using his Qi until later on, after all - she knew well how draining it was. She had seen it first hand. Trizen would be very commendable if he managed to put Ryuu in a situation where he would be forced to activate it.
Her thoughts were disturbed by a familiar voice; Gabriel's: "So what 'did you have those two going at it for?" Emily didn't bother looking at Gabriel, after all. The fight was the purpose of it all, it was best they allow themselves to watch.
"Just to gauge how much they've learned." Emily said, "Trizen's been a friend of mine ever since 259 and I've yet to seen him fight. Ryuu's been training with me recently, and I am quite curious about just how good he can get. Thought they'd be a good team to work on."
Also, Emily thought this may be a good oportunity to find out what was going on. Trizen had seemed to have some sort of beef against either her (which was quite unlikely) or Ryuu. She thought this may be effective; or at least, she hoped.
