Here it was. The moment in which everything ceased to be in the hopes that the meticulous of calculations were brought into results. At the moment, Ryuu was walking over to Trizen to see if he was still alright, if he was still breathing. But the truth was, Trizen wasn't breathing. No. In fact, as Ryuu began to approach his opponent, the young one of fifteen was wrestling with his body to function as it once had.
'C'mon now...' The raven-haired boy hoped as he felt his body reacting to his demands. By the time Ryuu came over to check if Trizen was breathing, Ryuu would get his answer. The boy remained motionless and still. He needed to for the moment. And as Ryuu stood up to speak, Trizen would review the plan that took the entire fight thus far to accomplish.
~~~~~
At the beginning of the fight, after Trizen made his first dodge and moved in to push the Hikari boy's arm, when Ryuu countered by snapping his arm back, Trizen noticed he put his fan away. In his belt. It was exposed. This would serve as purpose for a few steps down the road.
When the pair of them traded blows to each other's arms, Ryuu's two-fingered strike did hit Trizen's elbow as seen, however the blow was not as severe was intended... or assumed. The pair of them were at full strength when trading their blows, but that also meant taking individual constitutions into account. By genuine nostalgia, the Hikari boy was used to disabling or shutting down the movement of his fighters upon a single strike. Trizen played along. The boy wonder put his left hand over his right elbow to cover the bruise that laid, and hid the fact that he could indeed move it. Guessing correctly, Ryuu did not notice any of his ruse and backed off considerably from fighting. Instead, his opponent wanted to end the fight with a show by sparking a ring of fire. There were a few options in Trizen's mind, but in all honesty, he had no idea which one Ryuu would use. But Trizen find out through the next step. He played crazy.
"Ryuu, you're gonna have to do better than make a fireplace." The boy had no smirk on his face, he didn't take kindly to intimidation. "Wait... are we going camping? No wait... Three'd be a crowd." Trizen was opening that subject of three: Himself, Ryuu and Emily. When Ryuu ignored the first quip, he knew the ring wasn't for intimidation. Great! All the better. Trizen continue to talk about the three-way triangle, though he knew (for the most part) it was all gibberish considering everything. But he needed something to occupy Ryuu's ego. While this was happening, Trizen made sure to make that obviously crucial tactical mistake by walking with his "disabled arm" facing his opponent. If Ryuu did want to fight, he would have returned the counter-attack. But he didn't, which left Trizen with the notion that the ring of fire was to be his final resting place. So, Trizen did what anyone would have done when falling for a trap: He jumped in.
Now Trizen knew he had Ryuu on lock. As much as Ryuu was a level-headed guy, Trizen boosted his ego to the far reaches of the moon and beyond. How? Ryuu was a hero. No hero could resist the urge to look awesome in front of screaming fans, particularly when he believes he had the fight in the bag once Trizen mocked him in the ring of fire. It was inevitable for Ryuu's reaction. Now here's where things get cooking.
Considering everything, these fans from Emily were not light-weights. And thankfully so. They were made of metal, and metals were major conductors of heat. From the first step, when Trizen noticed Ryuu putting his fan away, the fan was still exposed to where it hung. Perfect. Ryuu got down on one knee, engulfed his hands in flames. He then placed both his hands flat on the outline of the painted ring. Adding more fuel to the fire, the height of the flame ring increased, now at 3 feet, about up to Ryuu's waist. Straightening up, he took a few steps back, away from the flame ring, his hands still engulfed in flames. Here is where the metal fans tied in with Trizen's acting.
In straight plain truth, it was hot. Emily and the other spectators could feel the heat from where they were. While Ryuu was increasing the heat for the flames, the heat from the flames would have been heating up Ryuu's metal fan tucked in his belt. As much as his hands weren't affected by the flames, his thigh or wherever the fan was resting, would have severely burned him. Knowing this, Trizen slipped his thick armbands down over his hands and held onto his own fan. Then came more acting.
When Trizen dropped to one knee it was for simple reasons of physics. Smoke, as much as it filled an area, it always went up, that's why one should always review safety drills! They always tell you to stay close to the floor. Trizen was more legs than torso, so on doing that he thankfully relieved himself of more smoke than need be. Coughing furiously also rebuked a lot of it coming his way (which compensated for his acting). Then the sophomore decided it was time to do the second last phase. He began to slow down his heart rate. If Trizen was a fake a suffocation, then he needed to hold his breath for as long as he could. To do that, he needed to slow down his heartbeats and by all accounts knock himself out -- or at least close to.
The end result was success. Trizen fell face first and had the conscious showing for his left hand near his fan as he dropped it.
~~~~~~
"Check if Trizen is still breathing!"
This is where you all come in now. Trizen was trying to get his heart-rate going at normal speed again. He needed to breathe. And by the time Ryuu had gotten to him, the boy was indeed breathing. He had a pulse. He was fine. Though Ryuu didn't know that. The Hikari boy had a "hunch".
Now what's worse about all this is that while Trizen's right arm was bruised and limited in dexterity's blessing, Ryuu's right arm would handle the same sort of curse. Ironically enough, Ryuu barely moved his arm during the time he was hit. The limited movements and conservation of energy was something Trizen didn't expect from Ryuu, though it helped him in the long run considering Ryuu didn't know his right arm was injured -- along with the portion of his body his now heated fan was resting on.
Trizen could feel Ryuu looking down on him as he heard his arms cross. He could feel his ego burning a hole at the down and out Trizen. Interesting. Ryuu looked up and over at Emily once more, as he let his arms hang loosely by his side.
'Once you finish that last word... I'm coming after you.' he thought knowing his now burning hot fan was centimeters away. He would grab it once Ryuu was finished talking.
Ryuu's arms hung loose by his sides. Unprepared. "It's your call Emily. If you ask me, I don't think Trizen can fight anymore, not with his lungs filled with so much smoke. And if he can, this fight will not go on for much longer--" And cue.
With a quick grab, Trizen set his planned attack combo in a matter of seconds. Seven hits.
His left hand shanked the front end of the fan into Ryuu's stomach. Now that it was hot, it would have likely left a serious burn. One. Trizen's right hand made for a palmed uppercut into Ryuu's chin. Two. Trizen's left hand then made for fist and fan to work together on punching his burned spot three times. His right hand made to aggressively push his face slightly as Trizen's hand tossed his fan nearby. The last came as the momentum of his left hand sunk into the centre of Ryuu's ribcage as the combo finisher. The Iron Palm.
If the final attack landed, Trizen would watch his opponent falter back in subtle flight. At this point, Trizen was ready for whatever came next. He was not about ready to assume this fight was over, but he knew with that combo, it was more than half finished.

"!?" Was Ryuu's reaction the minute he saw Trizen get up, before he cracked a smile. Touche Trizen... Touche... The front of the fan slammed into Ryuu's stomach, leaving a burn mark on his shirt, as Ryuu felt the wind get knocked out of him. Ryuu barely managed to move his head slightly to the side, as Trizen's flat-palmed strike connected with the side of his face, then winced in pain as Trizen's strikes slammed into the spot where he had gotten burned, as he barely managed to get his arms up in a cross shape, preventing Trizen's strike to push his face in succeed completely, though it did connect, as Trizen's final strike slammed into the center of his ribs, sending him skidding backwards from the force. Ryuu lowered his arms, before falling onto one knee, coughing from the force of the blows. "Heh..." Was all he said, as he grinned slightly, his hair hiding his eyes. He slowly stood up, the burn mark clearly visible, as he curled and uncurled his hands, loosening them up. "Nicely played..." Ryuu said quietly, the grin still on his face.
"But don't think I'm just going to give in yet." Ryuu brought his arms up in front, holding them loosely in front of him, spreading his legs apart slightly. Ryuu, while his ribs were probably very fractured, possibly broken, making it somewhat hard for him to breath, still had both his arms to use. Trizen had only his left arm, since it would hurt to move his right arm after Ryuu had struck it. And considering Trizen had tossed his fan to the side, while Ryuu still had his fan, which was attached to the back of his belt, the verdict of this fight, was still up in the air. "C'mon... If you want to beat me so badly, then just come and try." Ryuu said in a low growl, almost taunting Trizen, underneath his hair, hidden in the shadows, his eyes had turned almost wolf-like, as he pulled his fan from his belt and held it with one hand, much like a bokuto, not caring that it was slightly hot from the flames, he knew Trizen's lungs, while not completely filled with smoke, would still have some smoke in them nonetheless, making breathing slightly difficult. "You wanted to prove something to Emily, then try and prove it."

Anyone made any guesses where the first quest thread will be? Yup, you guys guessed right/wrong. Anyone can still join this thread, this won't be over with this.This was perfect. There were witnesses, there were ways to hide - it was way beyond her expectations, and if anything she must admit: both her targets were there like sitting ducks, not even noticing that she was there by an open window above and to the right of the main door. The smoke hid her presence, and of course the noise of the fight had concealed the noise of the clicking of a gun. She had two shots to use, and Sin wasn't going to waste it. Sin had pulled her arms off her black cloak and pointed the gun right at one of the fighters. Who? Her first target was a young Japanese transfer. "Ready..."..."Aim..."------ Emily was thankful, if anything, that Trizen was alright. After all, smoke does cause suffocation - and if anything happened, Emily would have to abruptly stop the fight regardless of who was winning. She was their leader, and a true leader knew where to draw the line. The girl sighed, and looked up at the ceiling. One thing was strange to her though, that in spite of this gym already installed with some sprinklers, none of them were working. Was it the heat? The Mechanics of the school do a great job on the other buildings, what made this any different? Then her gaze paused on a moment that made her freeze - there was somoene by the window holding a gun that was pointing right at Trizen and Ryuu. Was this some assassination attempt? No, Emily wouldn't let this happen! "STOP THE FIGHT!" She exclaimed, practically jumping off where she was and in a streak of adrenaline went in front of Trizen and Ryuu in the fastest she had ever been in her life. She was not about to lose the people she cared about! "STOP THE FI---" *Bang!*A loud bang resounded by the gym, making some of the spectators wonder what was going on. Emily was all of the sudden missing from her seat, and was now facing both Trizen and Ryuu, her eyes glazed over. She had a smile on her face as she glanced by the two, and said: "... Live."*BANG!*One more shot hit Emily by the shoulder, causing her to finally collapse - bleeding, barely breathing - barely alive. The "pellets" were embedded deep into her bones. ---- "... Damn, that girl was fast." Sin said, as she dropped the gun from her gloved fingers. "No matter, she was a target as well."The heat of flames earlier had now caused a pipe by the ceiling to burst, making it rain water and the flames would dissipate completely to reveal a silhouette of a familiar woman cloaked in a black tunic. It was Layla, but that detail wouldn't be available until such the time that they unveiled her. "Layla" jumped off the window and made her way out of the there, running toward the gym doors. The bad thing about this area was that there were limited escapes, but who knows -- these buncha twerps might be able to catch her, or at least know just who this woman is.

The sound of Emily's voice made Ryuu's head snap around, as the sound of a loud bang resonated through the entire gym, followed by the sound of girl's squealing out in fright. "Emily? EMILY!!!" Ryuu shouted, his fan dropping from his hands, landing on the floor with a loud clang, the sight of Emily falling to the ground brought back the painful memories Ryuu had locked away deep down, the day, the moment his mother had died. Ryuu had but all forgotten about it, but seeing Emily collapse to the ground, the memory came rushing back. Ryuu's eyes flashed, no, he had to suppress it, he wouldn't let it surface. He sprinted over to her, fighting to suppress his old memories, as he knelt down beside her unconscious body like a knight kneeling to a princess, as the heat from the flame ring heated up a metal pipe above them, causing it to burst and douse everything and everyone in water. "TRIZEN! GET EVERYONE OUT OF HERE! NOW!" Ryuu commanded in a loud but calm voice, taking charge of the situation, as he cradled Emily's unconscious body in his arms, having pulled his jacket and then his shirt off and ripped it to wrap the wounds Emily had sustained and to try and stop the bleeding as best as possible, as water ran down his hair and face, dripping off the tips of his hair, as his eyes were hidden in shadows.
Looking up, his hair still hiding his eyes, he saw the silhouette of the perpetrator, as his eyes hardened beneath his hair. "TRIZEN! GO AFTER THE CULPRIT! I'LL TAKE CARE OF THE SITUATION HERE!" Ryuu shouted, indicating with his head in the direction the culprit had disappeared off to, as he looked back down at Emily, holding her close to his chest. I won't let you die... I won't let you die... I WON'T LET YOU DIE!!! With water running down his face, it was hard to tell if Ryuu was crying or not. He lost his mother to a sniper before, he wasn't about to let the only girl who was his really close friend and whom he cared deeply, no whom he loved, receive the same fate. "...I love you Emily..." Picking Emily up and carrying her in his arms, bridal-style, Ryuu turned to face the crowd. "SOMEBODY CALL 911 NOW! THE REST OF YOU, GET OUT OF THE GYM! NOW! THAT'S AN ORDER!"

A voice, clear as a pitcher bell, rang out as the crowd hit the floor, hoping to avoid further gunshots, everything suddenly silent.
"I don't take orders from you."
David stepped forward, his eyes looking over the body at his feet and at the shadow bolting out the door. He cracked his neck and threw back his hood. Enough hiding. He had been watching this fight from beginning to end, having been one of those who "happened" to wander in and watch. Once he saw Emily go down though, he felt a flashback, to the time when she had been shot in her fight against the bone Dragon and 259. He pointed to Ryuu, his eyes cold steel. He had known and loved emily- as if not more than a friend- since before this kid had even set eyes on her. His words would not be mistaken, and an inborn authority rang through him, one bred of a life of violence and positions of power.
"You will take her to the hospital." He shifted his finger to Trizen, making it known when he stepped forward that the kid was not to leave. "you will go with him."
He flexed his fists, a deep rattle coming as his knuckles cracked and popped.
"The shooter is mine."
He bolted at a run. The girl had gone out one of the gyms doors, but unfortunately for her position, it was right near the locker rooms, and she would be forced down the opposite hall past the other set of doors to the gym. David burst through those, looking to a kid who was leaning against the wall.
"Where did they go!?"
The boy pointed.
"I saw someone strange run that way. Thats all i know!"
David pulled up his hood and, seeing the back of the figure running, sprinted after it, keeping up pace enough to shadow her or him.
When he was discovered he would obviously not try to hide, but until then, he wanted to know who this person was and where they were going.
After that?
His anger bubbled.
He would bring the pain to they're world.

Trizen was certainly trying get his breath back. That last combo he pulled did take a good amount of energy out of him. It was interesting to see that Ryuu had the fire to get up and try and fight again. Personally, Trizen thought he should've stayed down, but he wanted to see Ryuu get up again. The two were rivals, although Trizen never considered Ryuu to be one. He didn't like to think of their friendship that way. Ryuu was a good fighter and so was he. That was that. Rivalry? Pft. What of it.
"Nicely played..."
"Why thank you," Trizen said on putting on his famous grin once again, "I doubt I need to explain anything to you." By that he meant the strategy. As much as Ryuu likely learned from Trizen in that instant, Trizen learned from Ryuu. The pair were likely going to have one hell of a bout. And it was truly far from over.
"You wanted to prove something to Emily, then try and prove it."
"Gladly."
The crowd was roaring like mad. Both Trizen and Ryuu were in what felt like a internationally broadcasted event. What started as an afterschool fight turned out to be one hell of a show. Both fighters were ready to go. Ready to move. They're feet pressured by the slightest hesitation.
GO!
They were both about to move when suddenly, a blur. Faster than anything Trizen had ever seen.
'Huh? Is that Em--'
*Bang!*
A loud bang resounded by the gym, making some of the spectators wonder what was going on. Emily was all of the sudden missing from her seat, and was now facing both Trizen and Ryuu, her eyes glazed over.
She had a smile on her face as she glanced by the two, and said: "... Live."
*BANG!*
One more shot hit Emily by the shoulder, causing her to finally collapse - bleeding, barely breathing - barely alive. The "pellets" were embedded deep into her bones.
Trizen didn't have words. He looked in the direction of the shot. Though with the smoke still around, his could only try to pinpoint with his ears. He cursed as the echo bounced all over the gym. Those stupid wooden floors. They tricked him. Damn it. What's worse is that the sprinklers started going off. That was odd. Why now? Oh well, for what it was worth, the fight was over for more important reasons, though Ryuu seemed already figure that. He sprinted to where she was.
'She saved--'
Ryuu started barking orders. Two of them. Interesting. Though a figure appeared. It was David Blaze.
"You will take her to the hospital." He shifted his finger to Trizen, making it known when he stepped forward that the kid was not to leave. "you will go with him."
'Militia...' Trizen thought to himself before nodding to his order.
"An ambulance will be out front in two minutes. Thank God there's a hospital nearby!" One of the spectators said with a worried look on his face. It was Franky. He was in Trizen's music class.
Trizen nodded then took his couple of steps towards Ryuu. "Give her to me. We'll get going soon enough."
Trizen's right arm still hurt, but the adrenaline rush would cover for it now. Or so he hoped. It was fine though. He was just carrying her and Ryuu likely needed to recover for the while. Not to mention it was David's orders.
"RYUU! C'mon! We don't have time!"

Ryuu's eyes stayed hardened as a voice rang out, silencing everything, as a figure stepped from the shadows, revealing to be Mr. Blaze, who ordered Ryuu to take Emily to the hospital, and Trizen would follow along. Ryuu straightened up, carrying Emily in his arms, as he saw David bolt from the gym, to chase after the perpetrator. One of the students then told them an ambulance would be out front in two minutes, as Ryuu saw Trizen take a couple steps towards him, asking him to give Emily to him, they had to go now. "I'll be fine!" Ryuu responded in a low but calm growl. "Besides, it hurts to move your right arm, doesn't it?" He asked, cracking a grin. He knew his strike hadn't disabled Trizen's arm fully, but his strike still had bruised Trizen's arm slightly. Oh he knew. He came into this fight fully expecting to lose to Trizen. Instead, the fight ended up to be a draw. "Just go and make sure the ambulance is out front! Go!" Making sure the gym was fully emptied, Ryuu would then follow after Trizen, still carrying Emily in his arms. He loved her, and would not let her die, not while he could still breathe. The flashing red lights of the ambulance blinded Ryuu momentarily, but all the same, he narrowed his eyes so he could see.
The emergency crew rushed to meet them, as Ryuu carefully laid Emily down on the stretcher they had set up, brushing a stray strand of her hair away from her face, a subtle sign of his love for her, as they whisked the unconscious Emily to the emergency vehicle. "Trizen..." Ryuu said quietly, his eyes hidden by his hair, "I know Mr. Blaze told us to accompany Emily to the hospital, but I want to find out who did this to her. You're not the only one who cares deeply about Emily." Ryuu lifted his head up, revealing his eyes, which were burning with a unparalleled fury. "Go with Emily to the hospital. I'll stay behind and help Mr. Blaze. I know we've had our differences, but just for once Trizen, please, just listen to me, and do what I say. If I need anything, I'll make sure to contact you. What are you waiting for? GO!" Ryuu would then turn, but then stopped, his back facing Trizen. "And if I don't come back, tell Emily... I'm sorry..." And that I love her... He then began to head in the direction he saw the culprit bolt off to, sprinting as fast as his body would allow him to. Damn, it hurts to breathe. But that doesn't matter right now, I'm going to find who did this to Emily. Emily... I love you... And I will make whoever did this to you pay. And if I don't come back... I will always love you... and I'm sorry...

Almost as soon as the question left break's lips did an interesting string of events occur. The trizen boy got back up, the fighting continued, break shrugged and decided to stay, then suddenly emily was bolting out of the field, screaming to stop the fight. Then gunfire. Break ducked down, unconciously grabbing Tash's arm and pulling her down with him to avoid the gunfire. 2 shots and then a brief pseudo silence. Break got up to see everyone rushing toward emily, people began shouting, Ryuu giving orders (as if I'd follow them), a man break hadn't noticed was there (David Blaze) suddenly took order from him and then Emily was being rushed to a hospital. He saw David run after the shooter with incredible speed.
Emily and Ryuu where both militia, but Ryuu was still a good friend in Victor's book, the honor guard leader would probably be furious later but victor wasn't going to stand idly as people where being shot. All he knew at this point was there was one man chasing someone with a gun. Not good odds. "I'm going to help that guy get the gunman" he said with a righteous beaming in his eyes to tash before smiling and running off the bleachers after blaze and the gunman.
He ran into a hallway, one scared looking kid there simply pointed the way with "they went that way..." trembling out of his lips. "Thanks" Victor said aggresively, he knew he wasn't going to catch up at this speed... hopefully whatever fight ensued would still be going by the time he caught up.

Trizen didn't take kindly to barking orders. Especially when it came from someone who was sure to get it coming if the fight wasn't interrupted. Though, it seemed Trizen drew the short straw so he would accompany Emily. Besides, who knew if whoever shot Em was coming back... besides, she wasn't the target. And if two bullets were fired... no, Em had to be the target. If not, the assassin would have likely not focused that second shot on Emily. Trizen knew the pieces fit, he just wasn't fitting them properly and in any case someone was trying to get his attention.
"What do you mean I can't go with her?!"
One of the medics explained some other fancy jargon. He sighed as he knew what that meant. Doctor Clavering used it sometimes with patients in her office. It meant "leave us alone so we could work". It was simple really.
The truck closed its doors and sped off towards the hospital. Trizen prayed under his breath that she'd be safe. But now what? He was to go and see if he could help the others. Sure! Though... his right arm. He looked back at the fleeting ambulance truck and huffed. The boy sprinted back inside the gym.
There were a few people still about. It was wet and Trizen was getting soaked the longer he stood there. His hair still pulled back into one and his clothes were... oh! He had forgotten to pull back his armbands. Oh what a thought. It was random, but it did end up fixing them while looking for his stuff. Ah, there they were. Dashing over, he went to his bag and got his stuff. By grace, he managed to put them on rather quickly.
"Trizen!" His friend Franky called out to him, "Didn't you leave?"
"Yeah! Though the medics said they'll take care of it. Here!" Trizen tossed his brown, leather shoulder bag to his friend, who almost dropped it. "Could you keep this for me? I got the stuff I need. I'll text you later for it!" Trizen waved to his friend and made a sound sprint towards the doors David, Ryuu and Victor seemed to exit through.
Franky made his run out the other exit with Trizen's bag while Trizen hoped to catch up with the other three boys.

Gabriel flinched at the shot of the gun, he looked up in just enough time to see Emily take the shots. His mouth gaped open wide with horror. What had happened? His eyes shuddered with a chasm of pain. No everything was coming back to him now, the pain he'd caused her. It took him a few moments to realize what was going on. Everyone around him was panicking, who could blame them. But they scrambled about to save Emily, to get the shooter. Gabriel stood there in paralyzed shock. Eyes peered down as two took chase. Gabriel's mental condition wouldn't be able to keep up. He could help Emily... Perhaps redeem his pas deeds against her though he knew Ryuu wouldn't allow him to come near. He'd have to deal with it.
"Ryuu, how can I help?" Gabriel demanded not an inch of hesitation left in him, as he dropped to his knees to check Emily's damage.

Perfect. They were running and following her - all who seemed to be males with strong attachment to that pest of a girl. Two bullets were wasted on that white-haired bitch, and what was worse, that bitch might have seen her face! She would be pest she would have to exterminate soon as she would jeopardize her mission.
Yes - she would have to pay that little girl a visit to the hospital soon.
Snickering to herself, she looked back to notice how quickly the students were catching up. Stopping for a moment, the woman would jump up, somersaulting in mid-air while a few clicks came from her shoes, revealing how small wheels popped out of them.
This woman may not be strong, but it seems as if she had the power of technology on her side. These wheels doubled her speed without sacrificing her endurance. Mind over matter, after all. "They are pretty slow, aren't they - Layla?" She managed to say, Mimicking Layla's voiceover of Shinichi.
Her plan was afoot. Let's see how these students would fare.

David picked up his speed. She had noticed him. He glanced behind. Others were following. He pushed himself to the max, but was still slightly slower than the perp who had wheels. So David, grinning, rammed his arm into a cement wall and pulled it back quickly, holding a large chunk of Cement. He played baseball, though not many recognized him on the field. He, being the star pitcher, had a plan, though he was unsure if it would work. He stopped, cocked back and let it launch, aiming for the small of the individuals back. After throwing it he would again bound off, running at full speed for if she dodged it would take off a little from her acceleration, though if it did it it would likely propel her or him forward and cause them to wreck.
David wasnt going to play games with this individual. What they did was a crime and could have killed Emily. He wouldnt rest until he caut them and found the answers out before beating them to a bloody pulp.

"Gabe!" Ryuu exclaimed, as he knelt down beside Ryuu, "Make sure everyone has gotten out of the gym, and then go after the shooter, make sure they don't get away!" Lifting Emily up in his arms, after covering her with his overcoat, Ryuu quickly made his way to the ambulance, as soon as she was in good hands, Ryuu took his overcoat back, and slipped it back on, before taking off after David, who had a head start on him, but Ryuu had a head start on Trizen, Victor, and Gabriel. The shooter was fast, even more fast, now that whoever it was had wheels in their shoes, the figure was all but a blur to Ryuu, as he saw ahead of him, David stop, before ramming his arm into cement wall and pulled out a chunk of cement, before throwing it like a baseball, aiming for the perpetrator's back, as he once more took off.
Ryuu pushed himself to the limits of his speed, though he was no more closer to catching up to David or the shooter, he still managed to maintain the distance he had beforehand, despite it being hard for him to breathe currently. Ryuu's eyes burned with a fiery determination, no matter what it took, he was going to get the shooter, and he was going to make them pay for what they did to Emily. "Hey Blaze!" Ryuu shouted at David's back, "Save some for me, you hear!?" Ryuu pushed himself even more, urging his body forward, determined to not let Emily's sacrifice go to waste. He wouldn't allow it. You're not the only one who's going to lay a smack down on the shooter... The shooter picked the wrong girl to shoot, that's for sure...

Victor kept running, ryuu was a little ahead of him, and david even more so ahead of both of them. Victor liked seeing david rip the cement from the wall, smart guy. Victor heard ryuu say... David was his name right? alright, lets see if we can get some team work together.
Victor rammed his arm into the wall, pulling out his own chunk of cement. He was no star pitcher, but he also didn't intend to throw it at the girl, he was gonna play pass, making sure that David didn't have to run out of ammo, or stop or slow down to get more. Victor was the clip to david's gun, he didn't like it but, whatever he could do to help.
"David! You want more?" he yelled ahead, holding the cement up. Hopefully David caught his drift.

The cloaked person grabbed a medium-sized paddle that was leaning against one of the walls as it ran forward - towards the administration building. Sin would have to be very careful at this point. These bastards were dang fast. She would have to shake them off if she had to lose them. Too bad she didn't have more of those bullets!
Maybe next time.
Looking back again, Sin caught that one of the students was throwing something at her. Oooh, actually - he PITCHED something at her. The paddle in hand, the woman slowed down a bit and pivoted herself so that she was sliding backwards and swung her paddle like a bat, sending the cement aside but making her lose her balance - woops? Bad choice.
Pressing a button, the woman's shoes slipped off and she began to run again. She wasn't all that fast compared as to when she had boots, but those boots were a petite size 6. Oooh, a clue!?
More bad choices. She had run into a dead end. "Damn." She said, before pressing a button on the belt by her hips. Her face was quite hidden, and her clothes didn't seem very easy to rip off either.
The woman assumed then a defensive position -she would have to fight them until such was the time that reinforcements would arrive.
Posts before reinforcements arrive to take her away: [3/3]
