An announcer speaks.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome to the ring... Matrim Gallagher!!!!!" He then gives a slight pause as the crowds cheer. "And the opponent... Jay Choi!" An equal amount of clapping and cheering can be heard from all around as the two of you are about to begin combat in this dry and dusty arena. You stand on regular dirt... This will truly be a match that decides skill.

"Let the Pillar Cup Tournament begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Matrim was in a very large Colosseum, and for some reason he felt very kosher with it. Sure it was like old times, and he was going to be fighting an opponent that he would most likely be challenged by. So he stood in place, looking across with a smirk on his face, his mind filled with the sounds of cheering and clapping, Matrim waved to the crowd, wearing his necklace, and sporting his new title as School Captain. He was given it prior to the Pillar Cup by Linda herself, and now he fought just to test out fighters. If he won he would simply choose the person he thought did best in the competition. Most likely this person would be second place. At least, if he was allowed by the rules set up he would.

Matrim remained in the same spot the entire time, looking over at his opponent, "Whenever you're ready!"
