Most people here have already seen these, but I figured I'd try to get some comments from the new blood as well. Be in depth with your critique, if possible. Here's all my decent digital workDidn't wanna bog down the page by putting them all here. I will, however, throw in photos of my film prints. More to come when I get my latest set back from my professor.

It seems as if the pictures were telling a story in their order. But anyways, first and last picture left a strong impact and I totally love the first one. Tearing my world apart as it tumbles upside down~ or something LOL. <3 Awesome stuff. POST MORE >:/! ? please XD

I've always been a fan of black-and-white photography, I find it helps bring out a lot more emotion and detail than color ever could. All the details, and the classic moment of time frozen in place.
I think my favorite out of all thus far is the second piece on the second post - the guy standing at the top of a circular brick hole. The shapes and intrigue there is great.

I completely agree with you about the black and white comment. If you look at a photo in B&W and color side by side, you really see how much detail color steals. It works especially well on concrete, which is hands down my favorite thing to shoot. I dunno if you clicked the link in the first post, but there's a B&W photo of a concrete stairwell I think you'd like a lot there.

Damn man, your photography is really good. Granted, B&W is typically a better contrast/detail style, but even your colored photos are artistically excellent. I'm really digging the "Sky of Gold" piece in particular; I've always been a fan of tree imagery, but the combination with the golden lights really added a new hue to it. And if you meant "Eshwell," then I definitely appreciate it - the separate directions of lines and pattern really gives a new dynamic to the stationary shot. My favorite by FAR though is "Photographer's Shadow." The t-shirt's "Who Are You?" really adds to this symbolic story behind the comparison between the subject and his shadow. All in all, incredible work man. I wish I had been something even near this talented when I was in photography class.

Tree imagery is usually hard to make interesting since it's so common, but I think it works well in that photo. That's actually exactly what it looked like that night too, I didn't shoop it. It was kinda hazy that night so the street lamps really made everything glow. And the one I was referring to was this one: I just like it a lot because of the detail in the metal grate, the water, and the stains on the concrete. Photographer's Shadow I've always been up in the air with. I'm not sure if putting in the text takes away from it and if I should've faded it more. But I still think it's decent at the very least. I really lucked into Photography. I just thought it'd be a cool class to take, but I turned out to be pretty good at it and now it's my future career.

You always have the coolest angles in your photographs.
Anyway! Like Leanne, I really like the first picture of your second post of photography. It just reminds me of a web (literally) of broken glass and a chaotic frenzy.
Neon Stairs, Which Way, and Broken are some of my favorites. There were others, but I don't see them on Flickr. o__o?

Which ones are you talking aboot, Kia?
And here's the story behind the photo you and Leanne like: One night I was bored and needed to finish off a roll of film so I just shot one at a weird angle out of my window. I was looking at the negative today during class and figured it'd be too plain by itself, so during our break I scratched it up with a pair of scissors and lit it on fire for a few seconds. Once I printed it I figured it looked more abstract/weird upside down so I went with that. Basically it's of the building next to mine, part of the ground below it, and the parking garage across the street. Jus' an experiment with fucking up the negative. It was fun and turned out pretty well.
