I thought maybe people would enjoy some of my random doodles or work. Just keep in mind though that I am not an expert and mistakes are very possible to happen =D Enjoy anywho~ My art portfolio from school. (hopefully the files are not too large. I'm at school so resizing is kind of impossible at the moment ^ ^;; ) It was painted with acrylics and the background is water colour. This is my own original character and desigh. This is a little old-ish. This is from last summer so yeah XD I still like how it looks like but there's much that I would fix. This one isn't old but I should have made the arms bigger and his lower body larger XD Oh well. This is another old one. I still like it but the anatomy could be much better. Though it's kind of not my fault since at the time I didn't have an image of the skeleton. I plan to redraw this one in the near future. That's it for now I suppose. Enjoy?

The crow on the acrylic/watercolor one reminds me so much of Kraehe from Princess tutu. :) Same theme and everything, but props. :P
You seem to have some problem with proportions from the upper abdomen downwards, but I like your art so far O:
As for the skeleton, I'd lend you my Anatomy book... but I'm far FAR away @_@

It's my fault for the proportion thing XD I have a bad habit of drawing on a flat surface and because of that, it makes the drawing look alright but when I lift the paper up, only then I see that it's not okay =P Reaaaally bad habit of mine. I need to work on actually looking at it straightforward. ^ ^;;
Haha that's fine. =P I recently got my own book, I just didn't get to that yet >....>;; I procrastinate a lot... ^ o ^;;

I agree about the comments about proportion, and another way to remedy that is to see the bodies in different 3d shapes. Treat each limb as 3D oblongs or cubes or cylinders and have the perspective in mind. The best way to draw is to have a board tilted slightly up towards you around 30 degrees, and draw on top of it. It makes a huge difference.

Yeah, I need to sit differently XD I may look to see if I can get a drawing board to tilt in angles too. =P Either way, I'll figure something out cuz drawing like that is annoying me ^ ^;;
Thanks for the tip Irisis :3 I'll keep it in mind~
