Personality: Very moody, the weather affects his behaviour drastically. Zack gladly makes friends but isn’t a man with many words. When he does speak they tend to be in slight prose and he tries to be dramatic about it. He also goes about as being anti-climatic and dense and can really deflate high tension or high energy situations. His voice is generally of disinterest but he really is just too lazy to modulate the pitches in his tone. As of current, he is pretty anti-social but not reclusive. He finds it awkward to be around strangers but is not deathly afraid of them. Once he warms up, he starts to become quite attached and caring to the people he gets close to like family and will be devastated by their grievances and problems. A young man with a darker aura around him, Zack does not come off as malevolent but merely just pessimistic and morbid. When listening to music, his mood can swing like crazy and so he often experiences extreme highs and rock bottom crashes.
Likes: Bass tones, beautiful things that stimulate his senses. Intellectual discourse.
Dislikes: Random noises, prolonged and amplified high pitches. Inconsiderate people.
Mentality/Ideal/Belief: Zack is insecure about the people around him. He warms up after he finds he can trust them. Otherwise he’s actually quite paranoid. Ideal: Interaction increases the Ante and enriches the pot. To be alone is the safest bet. After that, folding is naught but a petty loss. Belief: Anarchy or at least Libertarian. Physical Information
Build: Slim and sleek. His skin is pale. Zack is agile and quick from his interest and practice in dancing. He does not possess explosive power and strength but makes up for it with his slim and speedy build. He has a tendency to be a little off balance when moving too quickly however being a bit of a klutz.
Defining Marks: His elbows are double-jointed and bend the wrong way quite a bit. Training in dance has also made him quite supple and therefore flexible. However, he is quite fragile and any strong force applied to his body will easily break something or draw blood.

A scrawny and somewhat lanky boy, Zack has a commonly slouched posture (which springs up when he’s high on his music) and drags his feet around a bit when walking. He usually appears fairly alert or sleepy his expression usually gravitating towards an uninterested scowl. If the girls are into emo guys these days he’d make for a pretty good boytoy as his long naturally black hair curls just as it reaches his eyebrows but is otherwise straight from his scalp down. It’s quite messy and just stays that way because he only cares for his hair with shampoo and water. His skin is soft and as such scrapes easily and his fingernails have a naturally flat plateau instead of an arch and are ridiculously hard making them a pain to trim sometimes. His genetics void him of (good) facial hair and he has no body hair (except for... We’ll find out later...). He’s not a fan of piercings as the idea of metal objects embedded into his skin scares him (INFECTIONS AHHH!) but tribal jewellery, rock band wrist bands, and simple metal, hematite, or wooden rings usually accessorize him. There is also the occasional leather... A chain or two usually hang from his hopelessly torn loose jeans strapped on with a studded leather belt (he doesn’t know how, he swears) and as a testament to how much of a loser he is, he usually wears a tight fitting black t-shirt of some sort with a heavy metal band’s artwork on it. Sometimes his shirts are incredibly bright coloured and even going as far as reaching into the NEON SPECTRUM! As of late he has been favouring skater shoes with around 50% or lower white colour as well as both heavy and light zip hoodies or the gray, black, darker colour variation. A black baseball cap with his signature white Z is often seen facing normal or gangsta style on his head to cover up that unruly mop ... Oh... and jeans, or cargo pants must have pockets... They must be big... and often, there are LOTS OF THEM!

Description of style: Zack utilizes mental music or actual music to determine his fighting style. He does not have a set style but it is much more like aggressive dancing than fighting. He utilizes Hip-Hop break dancing, a little Capoeira, Tai Chi and basic hit and strike moves. Depending on the mood on the song his styles will change and the tempo and syncopation greatly governs his movement patterns and speed. At times timbre and instrumentation may also affect his battle style. Zack prefers to use Panasonic ear-clipped headphones while fighting since it allows him to hear the outside world as well as his music. Occasionally he would use a set of Bose DJ Noise Cancelling Headphones and fight blind. The increased focus on the music causes his movements to be more complicated and vastly unpredictable if the songs get strange. Still another set he uses are Inner Ear headphones which pushes him to reckless fighting styles and pain ignorance. He tends to try and hit harder and hurt himself more than the enemy when in this style. The mantra of this style is as follows: Music is my Weapon.
Overall Strengths: Zack’s fighting style is as predictable as his playlist which is absolutely diverse. It can range from trance to hip-hop and from heavy metal to classical. The music affects how he fights as the moods of the music changes how he feels. Lyrics and instrumentation also influence how he reacts in a battle and this makes him an elusive and eccentric force on the battlefield.
Overall Weaknesses: Though the music influence makes Zack unpredictable in battle, it also means that his fighting style is a gamble and doesn’t always counter the opponent’s. It also makes his style of fighting reliant on music. Without an MP3 player and proper amplification, Zack has to resort to mental music, or what can be seen as, imagining music. This puts a strain on his focus in the battle and may cause him to be less aware of what is going on. Furthermore, audio pollution becomes a large problem for him as it makes it difficult for him to concentrate on his music which fuels his battle mood.

Middle-Class family, they love him, he doesn’t get along with them well but still loves them. His family is Chinese and he has no siblings. His life up to joining Public High School #259 has been rather uneventful for the most part. He is enrolling for PHS 259 because of moving within the catchment area of the school. Excited as he is to this prospect, Zack is reluctant to show it and has half a mind worrying about fitting in and adjusting.

- Listening- A big fan of Heavy Metal, Rock and Classical Music. Zack thoroughly enjoys Linkin Park (being his favourite), System Of A Down, Billy Talent, Fort Minor, Basshunter and Johan Sebastian Bach among many others. He loves listening to all other walks of music including Techno, Trance, Hip-Hop, Rap, Ambient, Chants, Pop, and many others. Music is his engine.
- Writing- Zack composes original music and re-arranges others. He enjoys remixing and creating his own sound as a way of expressing himself.
- Performing- Zack plays Tuba, Electric and Acoustic Bass, Bassoon, Bass Clarinet, Timpani, Organ, Drumset, and Turntables. He’s also a Bass vocalist. He enjoys the low range of sound and has a passion for its power and intensity that is refined unlike higher voices where things like technique get in the way of emotion and feeling. Zack is also an avid dancer, ranging from Jive, Hip-Hop, Rave and Interpretive Dance. He isn’t much of a closed-form dancer but is interested in learning various Latin and Ballroom types.
