Description:
Malix is a fairly average teenage girl just finishing up adolescence and growing into an adult body. At 5' 3" she's not much for height at all, which when combined with a tendency toward thinness and regular exercise, makes up the small, neat package that is Malix. Her nose is slightly prominent in her heart-shaped face, but it has an exotic shape that lends her a very unique aesthetic appeal.
For clothes she tends to wear subdued, earthy colors and simple, modest garments, rather than flashy or gaudy pieces. She rarely accessorizes at all, nor does she wield much makeup beyond some lip gloss and a little eyeliner. She wears ladies' leather gloves around, and prefers sandals or boots for footwear. Her eyesight is not great at very short ranges, so she has glasses she wears for reading, using the computer, and other such tasks, which she carries along with her other school gear in a plain shoulder-bag.

Malix is quiet and subdued, and stares off into space a lot, but instead of giving an impression of dopiness, it makes her seem calm and cool. She is her own person and doesn't rely on affirmation from others for her self esteem. For this reason she does not often initiate conversations just for the sake of making conversation, but rather when she is genuinely interested in something the person might say. Still, she makes friends easily and will always help a friend out, though she is a daydreamer and is easily distracted sometimes.
She goes about her activities in a stolid way with very little outward emotion, whether it be studying or scoring goals in gym or fighting or whatever. Occasionally, though, she will have an intense bout of "the sillies" that will break this mold completely.
Malix loves insects of all sorts, and will often drop what she is doing to observe an interesting specimen. She thinks they're just the cutest little things... Seeing someone doing violence toward an insect will fill her with sadness and indignation. She also likes plants and frequently photographs them. Someday she wants to be a botanist or entomologist.
Malix's philosophy on fighting is that it can be a good way to keep active and healthy so long as you don't overdo it.
Malix loves things to be organized. She neatens and organizes things compulsively. Her favorite season is summer, her favorite food is strawberries, and her favorite drink is seltzer. She also takes a lot of naps.
As you will learn from the history below, she is originally from the UK where she attended a manners school for girls at one time, so her accent has the faintest trace of British nobility to it. Aside from that though, she's been totally "Americanized" since moving here in her early childhood.

Description of style:
With lots of forms and katas, and specific strikes and patterns for a variety of situations, this bread-and-butter martial art is known for its consistency and is useful both as a method of combat and as a tool for maintaining general fitness. The style lacks the flexibility of some more improvisational schools, but makes up for it with a vast regimen of finely practiced moves that can be called up quickly and performed with precision reliably each time, making it very fast and dangerous in the right hands. She incorporates grabs, grapples, and other aggressive tactics as well, which adds a brawling edge to her battle style.
Overall Strengths:
Malix is all around in good condition and is a solid fighter under almost any circumstance. She is skilled and precise. She makes no wasted movements, nor does she make displays of emotion that could otherwise reveal weaknesses. Malix does not fear combat, blood, or injury. She fights hard and aggressively and uses every inch of her abilites to the limit, but when pushed beyond them she knows it's time to quit.
Overall Weaknesses:
Malix is a balanced combatant, which also means that she does not particularly stand out in any one aspect of it. Sometimes Malix is easily distracted and can lose her focus. Malix fights for fitness and personal growth, and is not at all comfortable with the idea of fighting where more is at stake. Combat is only a small part of her whole identity, so her fighting spirit is not always as strong as that of those who live for fighting.
History Information
History:
Malix was born in the UK to a British mother and Irish father, who lived in a middle-class neighborhood outside London. There she lived for a while, and her parents sent her to a really fancy girls' academy for grammar and manners. She was only there for a few years, however, as her parents split up when she was nine, and went their separate ways. Her mother got a job in the music industry that necessitated a move to the United States, so off she went, taking Malix along.
They settled in California in an old house in the countryside, which sold cheaply for its size because its superstitious owner believed it to be haunted. Which, of course, was a load of tripe. Malix went to a public elementary and middle school, and then transferred into PHS #42. Not much else to say; she lived a fairly normal childhood and had no particularly traumatic or life changing experiences outside of the ordinary or the aforementioned.
