Nova loves to draw, she's okay but not the greatest at it; but its not like she'd not try to get better. Then there is something else, though she probably dances badly that never stops Nova from having a little fun. Whether be dancing at home or dancing down the halls of the school, Nova enjoys to have a little fun; no matter how silly she looks. She is pretty good at making people feel a little better or laughing, mostly because she's quite klutz and ends up getting hurt while attempting very foolish things.

Nova is a really kind person, but is sort of quiet around people she doesn't know. But after a little while, she tends to warm up to people; allowing her to be herself..more so. Having a bright outlook on life is usually a good thing, but sometimes Nova is a little too optimistic, which tends to annoy some people. When it comes to her own personal affairs, she's rather secretive; believing its not other people's to worry about. Though, she can be such a busy body about other's problems. Well, of course only when they become important to her, Nova will butt in and try her best to make people happy no matter what. Though she can be bright sometimes, there are things she just doesn't get; which leads people to thinking that Nova's a little daft. She doesn't always think things through, which tends to get her in trouble from time to time; but she accepts the trouble and blames only herself. Upon getting attached to people, Nova can be a little jealous when others have fun and she's not included!

Nova, standing 5'10, has an interesting style to herself. But first, to get over the basics, she has emerald green eyes, an unique beauty mark under her right eye and a different hairstyle than most. It is chin length, and has been dyed black with light purple edges. Nova is medium built, not skinny but not Barney weight. She has long, slender legs and some muscular built in her arms. Sometimes, the girl wears make up but can mainly only be seen with mascara and / or lip gloss. Now onto the fun stuff, she had a tendency to wear the more unusual clothing. Usually consisting of bright colours like purples, greens, etc. T-shirts, jeans, jackets,etc. She loves layers and several accessories. Some that were not all too considered. Bows and rings were some of the accessories she enjoys along with big belts and striped arm warmers. Just to add to that, Nova likes where wristbands and collars to just emphasize her style.

Giving thought to ones motives for street fighting isn't always an easy point. Street brawling is a form which isn't self taught, but can be self taught through the adaptation and learning of other people's movements, strikes, and blocks. Street Fighting is good for agility, but also counts as an odd way of being untrained in the ways of actual fighting. Street fighting has it's strengths of being an untamed and casually unable to read, along with being fast. However, it's unpredictability can often lead to mistakes, especially in the ways of the trained fighter. This is where Street Fighting can have it's issues, but overall is a balanced style. Using punches to punch and kicks to kick. It's really easy to learn, hard to master and has it's flaws and pluses. This is the easiest of the fighting styles in the world to master. But some of the toughest ways to use it. The ultimate balanced fighting style.
_-Overall Strengths-_
Well, you'd assume Nova would be speedy and nimble due to the fact she is lean. But the fact is that Nova really isn't all that fast, she's kind of slow. You see the girl's real strength lies all in defence and power. From years of getting her stepfather angry and being on the receiving end of his attacks, the girl has learned how to defend herself against people. Also, enduring all of the abuse has given Nova quite the constitution! She can take the attacks and keep on going! But where working for her stepfather has helped the girl become strong! but if course, she doesn't really show it, unless of course its needed.
_-Overall Weaknesses-_
Speed has always been something that Nova struggled with, sure she's a lean clean power machine! It's just, her legs really aren't all that strong or sturdy, which means running about is not her thing! She can run, just not fast or for long. Also, in general a down fall of Nova's is her complete and utter lack of experience! She really has no idea what she's doing, so she never really puts the right amount of strength into her attacks! She doesn't know how to properly hit someone, which usually leads Nova to get hurt herself by herself. But that's only to be expected for someone who has never really been in a fight. Also, the fact she's kind of a klutz.

you know, the typical student you see! One with a strange past, as usual! Yeah, there's no such thing as normal, right? Well, so it seems that normal died along side with spandex pants. Yeah, not talking tights ladies, spandex pants. For serious! Well anyways! It all seemed okay for the first four years of her life, or so she thought at least; children don't really understand whats going on. Nova only seemed to retain a few memories here and there from those five years. Like singing in the ran, sitting in a tiny play house in the park with her mother, painting the house with mud on a rainy day, skipping down a sidewalk with mum once more. Yes, there was never any memories of a father figure, but perhaps it was for the best? After all, if you can't remember someone, isn't it for the best? I mean, there's probably a reason as to why the person was forgotten; right? But anyways, the years to follow the first five, aren't filled with such happy memories! It was filled with a stepfather, arguing, fighting, the birth of a baby brother, and financial difficulties. Growing up, Nova never really got anything new, because they never had the money. Why? Spoiled step siblings that demand take out food whenever they visit, only the stepfather worked, barely making enough money to get by, and a new baby sucking up the money with his care costs. Plus, finally having a son in the house, the stepfather seemed to favourite the boy; where as he disliked the daughter. After all, she was the child of his new wife's ex-boyfriend, what man in their right mind would like the child??
So, as the years passed, Nova grew up in her little brother's shadow; never being good enough. Though she was creative and cheerful, trying her best to make people smile during the tough times. Whether is was verbal abuse from her stepfather.. or his precious children, Nova never really let them get her down for long. But it was part of the reasoning behind her dislike for herself and poor self esteem. Come on, who wouldn't dislike themselves, when being blamed for ruining their family. Sadly, the step brother and stepsister would never find out the true reasoning behind the destruction of their family, so they continued to blame the girl. Weekends were horrible! She was bright starting out, able to print and spell somethings upon entry of school. But once she got into grade two things seemed to get a little rocky. After all, she was having difficulty with math and some other things. But seeing the fact her mother was always far to busy with house work to help her, Nova sought the help from...her stepfather!! That never turned out right, he'd yell, scream and hit the girl up side the head whenever she got an answer wrong. So began the girl's fear to seek help, her fear of authority and other adults. Things just seemed to pile up on the self hate train! Moving every year, Nova never seemed to fit in. Probably because she had no confidence or maybe because she didn't really know how to be around people, so she was kind of annoying! Well of course she was! Nova was such a enthusiastic girl, it was a little overbearing! But, she just wanted to be liked, which is why she worked so hard! Sadly, it seemed that being accepted would never happen! With every school the young girl went too, things just seemed to get worse! Mocking, verbal abuse, physical abuse! Upon returning to her very first school, the girl slowly found herself reunited with the friends of olde! Yes, that's right, things were looking up in the school zone! Some new and old friends! But still, the mocking continued. But, she didn't want to let it get her down! Not wanting to scare away her friends, she ignored it to the best of her ability and never spoke of it.
Sadly, things on the home front were not so fun! It was the first time she had stayed in a house for more then a year! But things just seemed to get worse and worse! Fighting parents always seemed to be a thing to worry about, strange smells linger around the house, the loud people over every night, her growing little brother, her parents orders to keep her brother with her at all times! Being a young girl who just wanted to have fun with her friends, Nova was a little reluctant to have her little brother follow her around. Plus, they didn't want to hang out with her...when he as around. After all, no thriving young girl wants a whiny little spoiled brat around! Yes, where Nova grew up getting used clothes, used furniture, and always being put behind her brother..The boy always got brand new things, he'd get toys whenever he wanted, he was always loved and always got his way! It annoyed the girl, which caused her to attempt to rebel against what she thought was unfair! Fighting back is not always a good thing! It can get you into more trouble then when you started. The stepfather who had never been used to someone standing up to him, finally revealed true self to the young girl; which was a good thing...kind of. For the most part, when she talked back to her parents, argued, or anything.. Nova was used to getting the wooden spoon! She thought it was only normal, for those children that had done wrong. But it all changed.. All because the guy broke one too many spoons across the girl. At that point in time, he started to hit the girl and pull her hair. yes, he really had no control! No ability to talk things out, it was right to rage no questions asked.
So, the more she got hit, the more the girl started to hate her parents. Yes, that's right Nova was hating her parents, which to those at school seemed so out of character. She was such a sweet girl, always sticking her neck out for those in need, always trying to bring a smile to the faces of those dear to her! She wanted them to be happy while she was sad. Why? Because, she believed that what was happening to her was a result of her actions; which was completely true. SO, it was her fault and she had no right to complain. But in order to set things right with the cosmos and to receive good Karma, Nova had to do her best to keep her chin up, keep smiling and help those around her! After all, their problems were probably worse then hers, so it would keep her on the self hate train! As she got closer to the higher elementary school years, Nova slowly became accepted among her peers! Not so much her comrades! So, she'd travel between groups! Always smiling, keeping things positive, when all she wanted to do was cry. Why? Though Nova was kind of accepted, she was still quiet and shy, she'd speak quietly while in class, always afraid of reading out loud, always afraid of being looked at when answering a question wrong. So, accepted but nervous and faced with an ever present spiral of drama and jealousy! Yes, Nova had a bit of a problem! Once getting attached to people and.. Nova would get a little jealous when they got to go off and have fun without her. Having friends just seemed to corrupt the girl, she was actually cared for by many people [more then her mother, but at that time she still saw the woman as a bad guy]. So, the girl just kind of expected them to hang out with her often. it happened for a while with one girl! Yes, her best friend for years! Rae was very close to Nova for years, but they'd get into tiffs...often, but things would always get fixed. Nova always admitted to being wrong, she was always wrong. With every friend and with every fight! It kind of added to her self esteem and added judgment towards herself.
Okay, as you grow up, you tend to notice things! Whether it be the fact you've gotten really tall rather fast, whether it be those around you who are fake, those who have been your best friend, or oddities around the house. So to Nova, things seemed a little unfair! Like, she had to work her ass off for everything, where as her wee brother had everything handed to him; he'd throw a fit if asked to help..Where as Nova would just agree to the work, but feel a little hard done by! yes, she made things seem worse then they were, only to herself of course. It had become apparent that the people her parents knew, weren't good people.. They stole, caused fighting, and gossiped..a lot. Nova also came to terms with the smell that lingered throughout the house, it was obvious at that point in time. But it only took a full year before things got out of hand! The drugs, the alcohol, the fighting, and the hate! Night after night, after throwing back some brews and making...sniffing what ever drugs they had on hand, things would get a little rowdy! A little out of hand. Hanging around with men younger then he was had a bad effect on Mr. Bryant! He seemed to become more childish and more of a jerk then ever! He'd screw around with the guys, see other women and cause all sorts of trouble. Which at that point in time Mrs. Bryant wished to have nothing to do with him. Which cause so many fights to come, riddled with violence induced by drinking too much! Loud screaming, yelling, throwing things, physical attacks! It all pushed things down the road, which just seemed to uncover more and more drama! Police frequently had to go to the home of the Bryant's, they became outcasts on the street! Being ostracized caused Mrs. Bryant to fall into a state of depression, no longer able to wake up; she slept for the most part of the day. Mr. Bryant got meaner and seemed to fall down the rocky road of financial troubles once more! The Brother seemed to play up everything to used the fighting to get money out of his parents. Where as Nova tried her best to cheer up her mother, all the while slowly breaking the visage of happiness. Which did exactly what she feared! Upon breaking down, her friends all seemed to flee, it just wasn't worth their time. So her two year's of high school were not so much an enjoyable experience, being all alone.
Taking her friends rejection to heart, Nova once again began to repress all of the things that bothered her; never letting anyone in on the goings on. Once more the girl became a happy person, trying her best to make friends; it just didn't seem to work. So just as her second year of high school ended, Nova was going to make some changes! She needed to make her life better, taking it in her own hands to make things better. It would just require some thoughts and time.
Everyone knows what to do! But doing that is never as easy as it seems! I mean, you really have to see things from both sides, weight everything and think it all through! Think of all the possibilities! What happened if things got out of hand and you weren't there to help? Could you live with yourself if anything happened? Or what if things were better off without you? That would motivate anyone to leave. But you also need to think about your departure and how it would effect those around you.
Just as things got pretty rough, the girl made the choice! it was time. After saving up enough money from her part time job, the girl had enough to: one: move to another city, two: stay with an aunt for a while[ she knew where she was going], and three: make a new start! She was going to make more friends, not bother them, escape the drama, and live her life to the fullest! With all new beginnings something must change, right? Well, the change was noticeable!! Nova started to dye her hair! It was time to head to sunny California!
By the time she got there, there was only one option for school; it was the closet to her aunties house. Moral Crest High.
