Mental Information

Personality: Mortis is usually considered to be somewhat of an asshole. He is very judgmental, and is always analyzing others and what they do. He is usually quite talkative and likes to break the ice with new people. He HATES awkward silence and loves compliments, though he is often found only complimenting his friends or family members. He has VERY high standards which he expects intelligent people to meet, or he sees them as beneath him. More times than not he will like an individual, but will already have determined for himself what their strengths and weaknesses are. He will not hesitate to use weak people, however he is always loyal to people he calls friends. He is obsessed with order, if something or someone would seek to bring chaos, its a safe bet that Mortis will be at the scene opposing them.

Description: Mortis often wears business suites of varying styles and color, usually accompanied by leather dress shoes. Physically speaking, Mortis is very into appearances and thus dresses himself for every and any occasion. His hair is always well kept, and he will never be found unshaven. Although Mortis is slender, he is in shape, he has toned muscles, although he is far from RIPPED.

Description of style:
Boxing - In a fully upright stance, the boxer stands with the legs shoulder-width apart and the rear foot a half-step behind the lead foot. Right-handed or orthodox boxers lead with the left foot and fist. Both feet are pointed slightly inward, and the right heel is off the ground. The lead (left) fist is held vertically about six inches in front of the face at eye level. The rear (right) fist is held beside the chin and the elbow tucked against the ribcage to protect the body. The chin is tucked into the chest to avoid punches to the jaw which commonly cause knock-outs. Some boxers fight from a crouch, leaning forward and keeping their feet closer together. Since Mortis is Scottish, he was taught as a European fighter by his father. The difference is North American fighters tend to favor a more balanced stance, facing the opponent almost squarely, while many European fighters stand with their torso turned more to the side, which Mortis favors his right.

Submission Wrestling - Submission wrestling (also known as submission fighting or submission grappling) is a formula of competition and a general term describing the aspect of martial arts and combat sports that focus on clinch and ground fighting with the aim of obtaining a submission using submission holds.

Self Taught Style - Mortis has been working on his own style of fighting for years. He has a background in wrestling and boxing so his style combines the best of both parts. This style uses a variety of standing submissions and locks/holds. He has mixed in a few variations of martial arts kicks to make the style truly unique. Unlike boxing, and wrestling, this style has no set stance, Mort simply relaxes his body and goes with the flow so to speak.

Overall Strengths: Overall, Mortis is a well rounded fighter. He is able to duke it out standing up, or taking the fight to the ground. Mortis is quite adapt at reading other fighters moves, which he uses his self taught style to counter. He is also quite limber, allowing him to take a few blows, though he usually manages to change full on strikes to glancing blows.
Overall Weaknesses: Mortis is an over confident, and often offensive, asshole. He belittles people and I see this as being his potential down fall, since he will eventually piss off someone stronger than him and thus become their prey. As I said he is pretty well balanced, not exceeding to much in any one area.

Mortis Dauer was born at West Hills hospital California to Jason and Victoria Dauer. He was then raised in Calabasas and Hidden Hills. His family has always been wealthy, given his mother is a Mchallin and his father is CEO of an international banking company. He was always handed whatever he wanted as a child, and now as a man he is still able to purchase whatever he wants. He graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA but failed to receive high honors because of lack of attendance. Shortly after graduating, he moved to San Fransisco to attend CCA California College of the Arts... There he got too obsessed with partying and flunked out.. His father was furious that he would waste his life away with art school, let alone flunk out of it. In his anger he gave Mort an ultimatum, go back to a REAL college, or he would be cut off from the family fortune.

Why is Mortis attending 42? Simple. He was forced by his father to take up college once again. It turned out that his transcripts actually lacked a few basic classes and the state of California would not accept him as an actual graduate.. so Mortis decided to contact his cousin who was living in the area and see what all she was up to. He then planned on moving in with her, hoping that this experience would get him closer to someone who he rarely saw, yet considered family... Well cause she was. Lucky Kate... Mortis is often found on #42 campus watching the students and observing their hierarchy. He has only one class actually on campus.
