Seph is always referred to as always being unexpected. He's mostly casual and wishes to be friendly with everyone. Of course, as every teenage boy in high school.... he wants to be popular as well. However, his strong will of justice interferes with his quest to be the "cool kid" and will probably immediately become the enemy with the school bullies.... which isn't the most "popular" thing to do.
Mentality:
Seph believes that everyone should be equal, and will go out of his way to knock people down a peg or two to prove it. His state of mind always believes that good will triumph over the bad....and the hero always comes up on top.

Defining Marks: A Japanese demon tattoo, a family mark, that he got at the age of ten, on his back.
Description: Seph is somewhat tall, standing at 5'11", and muscular, though not overly buff. He has darkened skin as the result of his interracial background, creating a rich caramel color. His hair is black and shaggy, hanging loosely in layers above his shoulders. In contrast, his eyes are very noticeable in a deep crimson hue. Though it cannot be seen when he is wearing a shirt, he has a tattoo representing the icon of his dojo, the Demon of Japan, on the center of his upper back, a couple of inches below his neck. His attire is generally casual, with T-shirts and jeans as part of the norm. The T-shirts he wears are fitted to show some of his form, but not extremely tight, and usually have a band name or a skateboarding brand as a logo. Similarly, his jeans are neither particularly baggy nor leg-clinging, though they are usually cinched with a black studded belt. He daily wears worn-in black high top Converse. During colder weather, he puts on zip up hooded jackets. His dojo uniform, which he wears while training, consists of a white, sleeveless cheongsam, trimmed in navy blue along the collar and down the neck to the torso, and loose black pants, as depicted below.

Seph for the most part had a normal life with his family living off the beaches of California. For years he lived his life like every standard kid. However.... he was unaware that his parents had a dark secret in their past that has been hidden from him for most of his child life, and Seph would find out in the most horrible way...
Seph's parents were an interracial couple, his mother born in the good ol' USA, an African-American, and father reigning from Japan, a legal immigrant. Nothing was out of the ordinary was presented by the couple... but was abruptly dismissed when Seph's mother was mysteriously killed and father went missing! The body of Seph's mother showed no signs of struggle, scratches or bruises, or evidence that something was ingested. This was clearly a murder... and due to the disappearance of the spouse, signs point to Seph's dad as being the culprit.
Seph was at the tender age of 10 at the time when this horrific event all took place, and through months of therapy it was blocked from his mind.
Seph's only living relative in the States was his Japanese grandfather who took custody of Seph. Grandfather Oni was the Master of a dojo in america and taught a forbidden Technique of martial arts that was made illegal in Japan years ago. Living at the dojo Seph was forced to learn these martial arts under his Grandfather while he went to school.... and tried to remain a normal boy...
