Personality: Being a total FOB {Fresh Off the Boat [Bihaengi (Plane)]}, it's surprising to hear that Mirini knows at least some basic English, though her accent gives away the fact that she is not of America. She isn't ashamed of not knowing English as well as others, but has a rather determined personality where she feels it necessary to keep a positive perspective if she wants to improve. Mirini, although not very talkative, is a people-person through her actions. She likes to help people, offers to do the work no one else wants to, and offers her food to people around her. Yes, food. Mirini can be seen nearly all the time munching on something, whether it be a banana or a bag of chocolate. Anyway, the closer Mirini is to a person, the more open she will be. Though it appears that Mirini has a kind heart, there are times when Mirini will cuss under her breath and use sarcasm consistently - of course, all of this is in Korean.

Mirini's body is pretty much proportional - everything except her fingers, which are long from playing the piano. But it's not like your character would notice something so miniscule, right? Her leg muscles are toned due to the many laps of running, stomach as well due to ab work outs. To make a judgement by one's body could be informative but misleading.

She tends to wear clashing clothes - most of which are imported from her home town - that somehow look pretty palatable on the slender Asian. She tends to stay away from the skirts, mostly because she finds the pants to be more comfortable. As for the top, she has many different styled shirts and can often be found snatching something from her twin brother. She also carries around with her a sweater at almost all times, along with a hat of some sort unless she styled her hair in such a way where a hat won't do her any good. For her feet, she isn't much of a shoe fanatic, but she does have a couple pairs of different kinds of shoes for different styles of clothing. For example, formal clothing would go with heels; loose casual with sneakers; summer clothing with flip flops. The accessories Mirini puts on usually match her mood. Description of style: Well, pretty much hit and run. Or maybe not even hit, and just the run part. Mirini's not one to get into a scuffle unless it's absolutely unavoidable. If she can't run away, then she'll use everyday small projectile objects as weapons. Mirini's best bet is to stay on the defensive, mostly because she lacks the experience to be an offensive fighter.
Overall Strengths: Her twin brother is her strength. He never fails to cheer Mirini up if she were in a bad mood, and his constant encouragement is what keeps her on her feet. Whereas Mirini was born with a weak immune system, Aerison was born a healthy baby; athletic and in shape. She also keeps a positive outlook, and with her quiet nature, no one really suspects Mirini, which might come in handy when she suddenly decides to do something spontaneous.
Overall Weaknesses: Weak as hell if you didn't realize it already. Bony and thin, Mirini gives off the impression that she's a rather fragile girl, which is actually partially true. Having a weak immune system, she tends to miss school on a daily basis. She gets these inconsistent headaches that interfere with her daily activities; no, they are not migraines, but simple headaches that come and go. They last enough to bother the hell out of the Asian, but don't last enough for her to take a pill.
History: Born and raised in Seoul, Korea, Mirini and her twin brother spent their childhood at after school academies and musical lessons. Both Mirini and her brother began learning the violin at a young age and expanded in different directions - Mirini with the piano and drums, Aerison with the guitar and trumpet. Neither of them had that much of an interest when it comes to playing Beethoven or Chopin. The two focused more on improvising and playing popular music at that time. Send to about fifty competitions, Mirini and her brother won only a few prizes. You'd be surprised to see how many musical geniuses are in the area...
They spent nearly every waking moment with each other, their personalities making up for what the other lacked. Aerison, who's an outgoing jock, always took care of his younger sister of two minutes by introducing his friends to her. Many thought of her to be kind and gentle due to her taciturn nature. A good majority of her friends came from Mirini cheering them up using the most random approach. Sometimes, she'll dress up and dance around; others she'll simply give them a hug.
Mirini's middle school years flew by in Korea, and the next thing she knows, her parents ship her brother and Mirini off to the States to study abroad. Having studied English at the Academies, they knew enough to pass an entrance exam; and her parents, who were close friends with some guy, managed to pull some strings into accepting their credits that, on a normal basis, would not get accepted. So whereas Mirini should have be in eighth grade, she was put into a high school. Granted, the majority of the classes were ESL.
Come her Junior year, her Home-Stay family decides to move and off they go to [insert city].
This is where #42 comes into play.
