(ooc:There are going to be two sections to this so if you don't join in on the first keep checking in and there'll be a second round to get in on... please have a good reason to join in)
Empty room, at least it was empty for now. Patient’s screams ran out through the night it kept him up. Nothing could possibly be that bad, the war was simple you fought and you died when you ended up here there was nothing to cry about everything was simple. Fight, win/lose, you return to the earth that was what he knew it for. Gabriel was realistic he was also stuck here now, a surgeon entered the shallow room with a discerned look on his face surveying the damage while keeping a distance in his hallucinaginated haze Gabriel muttered angrily.
“I want my own doctor.” “I am your doctor Mr. Seran, It’s Dr. Marx” he replied in an equally irritated tone as if he were up all night.
He paced about the small room slowly noting Gabriel’s shape, he felt like shit. Head was throbbing, arm back and body ached but miraculously his arm felt fine, was it all just a dream. Looking down at his knob of an arm he let out a large wail similar to the other patients.
“We’re very sorry Mr. Seran, it seems as though we could not find your arm to reattach,” The doctor said in a simple tone.
Gabriel sat there as he made his leave, “I want a new one…”
Marx turned slowly and then returned to his pace as he exited the room, “That can be arranged…”

((Hope you don't mind the join.))
As Marx left, Trizen poked his head in the room as he caught the door before it closed.
"Gabriel?" The sophomore questioned, not sure whether or not the bit had been true about Gabriel being in the hospital. Trizen didn't quite get the full-story, but figured he would visit nonetheless. Gabriel and he hadn't talked since before the riots and that was a while ago.
The room was small and he saw Gabriel there. He did look terrible, but Gabriel was the kind of person that wouldn't show all of his pain at once. Or, at least that's what Trizen thought. Trizen walked into the room and closed the door behind him. He stood tall, or at tall as he was, and nodded once to greet the young man.
"How do you feel? The nurses told me you were in here." The first question was more rhetorical if anything, though he figured he would ask anything. It was the polite thing to ask aside from the real question concerning what happened.

(OOC: Thank thought it got over looked for a second there...yea this one takes place b4 Em is in the hospital so yea just keeping all the pieces together.)
Gabriel sat up limply, a feral rage in his eyes, though he fought to suppress it in the face of his followers weakness was poorly looked upon. Gabriel slinked the armless appendage into a sling to make it appear less noticeable though he hadn't much to work with if he wanted to convince anyone he'd have to put something in the sling to make the arm appear more noticeable. However he couldn't find one.
"Yes Trizon, I'm alright, just a bit of a mishap with a certain pillar." He lied, the story was meant to be a bit of a lie sometimes they were needed to spark strength this one would prove to be powerful.
Gabriel used his good arm to shift the chair up into a sitting position where his legs extended outward and the arch in hi back was at about eighty degrees.

Trizen didn't want to walk too far into the room. The boy probably took a step or two while Gabriel was trying to calm down. Something obviously bothered him and if what Seran said was true, then the raven-haired sophomore hoped that Pillar didn't walk in anytime soon. It wouldn't be the first time Trizen tried to protect his friends while they were in the hospital, but it would be his first time doing it alone.
The boy would try not to read Gabriel too much, though he was curious to know what happened. Gabriel was another one of those mysterious people at PHS 42. He had a secret kind of motivation or inspiration that went far past old ties -- those ties being with the Militia, Pillars and even some of the Reapers.
"Sir, I'll be honest with you. I think you're putting yourself in a lot of harm's way. I mean, what with the Pillar and all... you really should be careful," the boy didn't want to analyze the amount of hurt Gabriel might have been in, mainly because he was afraid he might have been right about what he caught. "Is your goal so important that you have to do on your own?"
Even with the meeting with the others, Trizen still thought Gabriel to be a loner. He didn't even remember what a lot of the meeting was for. Did they accomplish anything? Yes. Perhaps. Maybe. They were to keep a standard and at the end of it see which of those in power were in on doing the same. But what about the others who didn't? And when would this bout take place? Those were the questions that were on Trizen's face. He didn't know if Gabriel would answer.

Gabriel laughed when Trizen noticed that he'd been putting himself into far too much trouble. It was true Gabriel was putting the weight of the world on his shoulders, he wanted to have a new reign of pillars, he wanted peace for this school for once. His entire time with the Militia following true to Unfettered's goal had done nothing but run him down a river on constant self destruction. Much like the man himself. A this point he was nothing more than the very same person he saw back at 259, beaten but not yet broken. He could hang on to the edge even when he was beaten down. Gabriel would come out on top whether he had the support of his followers or not. Hope was just around the corner.
"Yes..." he stated boldly and tirelessly as a new vigor strung him up, "It is everything, don't you see Trizen use your vision without checks and balances those in power run with unaltered control, they run their regime like clockwork without a stall in the cogs. Without something to stop them we could never get that moment of rest, not a moment of peace."
Gabriel pulled out the severed limb, "This is what happens when you let dictators have their way, without protest, without any one to stand up against them..." a tear came to his eye before he batted it away not wanting to show weakness.

Trizen wondered if the meeting with the others served any purpose at all. The question was on his face, though if the boy was speaking about honesty, Trizen figured he mind as well speak up.
"I understand, Gabriel. My question is why do you have to do it alone. Revolutions are revolutions because of people, not a person," By this time Trizen was taking his steps beside the bed. The boy noticed more changes in Gabriel, mood, disposition, aggression, but the more he stepped towards the older boy, he decided to keep his silent on it. "If you believe that we, the people, can change a moral code and standard of a thing, then we have to do it together. No solo heroics unless the situation calls for it."
The wild haired boy was just worried about Gabriel and his health. He had seen the same thing with Unfettered back in 259 and right now he wasn't seeing much of a difference. Every hero had to try and do things on their own, but he knew there was a time and place for it. Putting thought to mind, Trizen wondered who would have been violent enough to want to hurt Gabriel like this. He could only think of one.
"Was it Damien?"

He didn't understand, or at least thats what Gabriel told himself. Gabriel sinked back into the depths of his reclined seat unsettled with his new lifestyle change. missing a limb surely screws you over a bit. The ended knob of his arm hanged there strangely as though the arm was still attached, he gripped at air with the phantom limb that only he could know was there yet nothing truly was.
"Its difficult for me to allow this burden to be shared when no one will follow my lead. Sacrifices must be made for a greater goal. i see now what Unfettered was trying to do, and why it was so difficult for us..."
Gabriel shook his head when the name came up, "I't was the school Captain..." liar
Some sacrifices were necessary Gabriel was not above that rule...

The young one felt that blurred line of confusion once Gabriel had spoken his bit. The very idea that Gabriel had taken things into his own hands made Trizen think that he no longer wanted this to be shared. Victory came with sacrifices and Gabriel thought he was the lamb. Perhaps it was Trizen that was too optimistic. Maybe it was he that was too hopeful that anyone would listen to something so noble as honesty. And from whom?
Gabriel was down right now, and words spoken, Trizen received an even greater blow. The boy didn't want to believe that someone like the School Captain would have done this. "Matrim? ... No... Why would Matrim do something like this? At the meeting you said he was one of the few that was noble... why would he do this?" At this point, Trizen was probably pretty vulnerable. He was hurt if anything and felt like he was in the middle.

Gabriel shook his head lightly not giving away anything at all.
"People change... happens to the best of us, and often the worst" Gabriel moved to fall off the edge of his bed slowly approaching Trizen and placed his operable arm on the boy's shoulder.
"Thats why my vigor is unyielding, I will not give up but what I need of you is to help me... like you said, without everyone behind this what hope is there?"
"Will you help me?' his voice in mock desperation...

There it was. That still small voice trying to edge its way to the surface of Trizen's mind. The boy could feel everything in his spirit trying to plead with him. Bargain with him. Something was wrong, but Trizen knew it to be a lie. He knew it to be the voices of doubt and fear, the voices that spoke during the most opportune times. Or was it? The boy knew better. He knew that his feelings wouldn't lie to him, but certainily this man, Gabriel, would not want to deceive Trizen. They were after the same thing, weren't they? Like Emily to Unfettered, Trizen was to Gabriel. Right? Isn't this what it was supposed to be?
"People change... happens to the best of us, and often the worst..."
"But... Matrim wouldn't... do this..." Trizen looked at Gabriel's severed arm and felt his heart sink. Why would Matrim want to do this? Why wouldn't Gabriel give an answer? As much as suspicion crept it's head, the boy fought the urge to dig deeper. He was really hurt by all this. Gabriel was at the receiving end of it all and he had his body pay for it. Where was everyone else?
""Thats why my vigor is unyielding, I will not give up but what I need of you is to help me... like you said, without everyone behind this what hope is there?"
Trizen's soul attempted to speak to the boy on translating what his spirit was telling him. The soul would command the body to shed a tear, but Trizen forced it back. The young one was certainly more hurt by all of this on seeing the result of abandonment. Gabriel was doing this alone because no one supported him, even after he rallied those people together.
"Will you help me?"
"... I..." Trizen's body shook a little. It was as though his entire core said no. It wanted Trizen to leave and not come back. "I have to be brave..."
Trizen was still a kid. He wanted nothing more than to see everyone cooperate with one another. That was the kind of hope he wore on his sleeves. "I will help you, Gabriel."

Gabriel nodded slowly before inching in the bed.
"Good, thank you Trizen, Please gather who you can, train them, keep them strong for me... You're just as much a leader in this as I, we each decide our own destinies.."
Gabriel turned over and lolled to sleep having trouble entering the bed but succeeding and falling into a deep coma of sleep. In his coma he spoke in that deep slumber, "You're there hero now..."
PART II: Rebirth
Gabriel waited for hours on end after speaking with Trizen he was wondering how life would be under this new lifestyle, if his sacrifice was truly worth it. The doctor's had assured that they would be able to reconstruct his limb though he had little doubts it would be quite like before. Things would be different regardless there was no changing things.
"Mr. Seran, sorry to interrupt but we must begin surgery..."
Gabriel looked up with a stunned look in his eyes still a bit out of his comfort space, his mangled hand gripped at nothing feeling as though it still remained however he was gone and lost for good. They would replace him with another thing making him less human than ever. An extension of his inner demon, a machine.
"All right, lets begin..." Gabriel was wheeled off into another room and knocked out with sleeping gas
doctors toiled away for some time working hard on his endangered limb but found themselves unable to reattach the old one seeing as though it had been severed for too long. Slowly the metallic features were attached with slight difficulty, ease followed gracefully on.
An hour or so after the operation Gabriel came to. He adjusted himself in the bed slowly feeling lost in reality, it seemed too fictitious to be real. His right hand clasped at the air he felt the strength and grinned a bit before laying back and resting.

"Knock knock."
Davids knuckles rapped lightly on the door, walking slwoly into the room as the doctors left it. His eyes grazed over the body on the table, flicking casually across the arm that was remade as he stood beside the battered body of Gabriel Seran. He exhald, hands in his pockets as he spoke calmly.
"You look a little fucked up."
David took a seat in the chair, groaning a little as he kept his gaze on the bed.
"You been through some shit, Gabriel, i'll give you that." He leaned forward. "To be honest, though, i didnt come here to talk about past shit. I came to talk about present and future shit." He flicked a finger between himself and Gabriel. "Me and you have problems. Though at one point we were near allies, it seems we do nothing but conflict. I have a proposal to end all that."
He would wait to se eGabriels initial reaction before continuing.

Gabriel's eyes locked up to the door slowly seeing Blaze enter. It took him a moment to recognize as to why the man was there, they had never truly been on good terms with one another, the only reason they were even talking as allies is through their mutual affiliations.
Gabriel laughed at his little comment and had to agree he was in bad condition.
His gaze wandered upward to meet David somewhere in the middle, eyes locked like there was something serious going on for surely there was no jest to be made here.
"What do you have in mind?" Gabriel knew what his plans were, but he'd pass the ball off into David's corner, give him the power for but a moment before Gabriel retook the reigns.

David smiled, gladly accepting the invitation to continue with his indeavor. It wasnt often that an individual was so accommodating on short notice, but he adjusted to it. It reminded him of himself. He reached into the pocker of his jacket that he had slung over the chair before sitting down. It was a rather large opening, big enough for him to remove a few pictures, photographs taken not a day or two before. He set them on the edge of the bed, next to Gabriels body, close enough for him to see and look at.
"Public High School Forty-Two. Its rioting, violence and abuse toward students is skyrocketing, and so far nobody has done a thing about it." He placed his hands before him. "The pillars are, regardless of what you think of them, strong enough to protect the school during times of a normal nature. They could very well handle little fights and disputes without problem and we could go about our lives." He took a deep breath, exhaling slowly. "However, the recent climb in the masses urge to inflict injury, as well as the teachers and supervisors trying thier best to break us, makes it very difficult for anyone to do anything."
He pointed with his chin. "You seem to have a plan, a way to get this done, but my being the hoenst individual that i am forces me to say that i think you have a wrong way of viewing certain things. My proposal is this-" He stopped, clearing his throat, before he spoke freely. "You will combine forces with me. Now-" He would hold up a hand to stop any sort of arguing until he was finished. "-perhaps i am geting a little ahead of myself, but our goals, from what ive heard of yours, are the same. The means by which we reach these goals are far different, however. I, at this point in time, have not yet been able to unlock my bodies peak potential since the collapse of 259. You are understandbly superior to me in physical strength, this i can see just by looking at you."
"My point for all of this is that i will, very soon, be back to myself and better, and will have a group of superb fighters to stand with me, a few of whom i know could be a great asset to the army you are building. I want to try and convince you to try a few things my way, and if they don't work, i will put my strength and the strength of those who will be following me behind your way."
He leaned back.
"Feel free to ask any questions or give a direct answer now, though think carefully. I will not offer this again."

Gabriel grinned throughout David's whole performance. Submission? Challenge? Equality? all the thoughts came to mind. David was settling for what he could while he could, things were indeed getting out of control here and he was wise to come to this conclusion. Gabriel would only suspect as much though others were indeed slower to falter but then again Blaze was one of wise character. Snatching what he could while he could.
Gabriel moved his newly formed hand to collide with his other as he clapped the cold thing. He had to give it to Blaze it was a brave stunt, pushing his agenda and all. But in the end it was Gabriel's final word and though Blaze was strong in time it wouldn't matter. However a friend with great influence would indeed be better than an enemy.
"I like it, you've made a good choice, though what are the terms I must settle to get you and your "fighters" on my side?" If I needed any?
Gabriel had chosen his if he needed help he would have sought it out though he never pleaded. David would have to settle for low marks if he expected to be in on the whole ordeal. Gabriel's plan was being molded into perfection at this point and time, details needed work but at the same time he was ready.
