Sara jumped off the back of the bike as soon as it came to a stop outside her apartment. She hated riding on motorcycles. It scared her. Badly. And it was only made worse because she was sore and anxious. Matrim had taken her home after their fight in the park. Thankfully. Considering she had been beaten pretty badly, it was nice of him to take her home. Especially since she now only had half a shirt... Not even her own shirt, and one leg of her pants was burned off to the knee.
She had clung to Matrim for dear life the whole ride home. His driving scared her. And this only irritated the fact that she had a massive burn mark on her chest. She needed to get inside and start treating it. That burn, and the one on her ankle... Damn, she had taken a lot of damage. Her rubbed her chest where the mark was as she limped towards the door to her building and walked inside without waiting to see if Matrim followed her. Of course he would. She had told him he was going to have to explain to Travis why she had burns on her cheeks, ankle, and his hand print on her chest.
Shit... Her stomach was roiling. She didn't want to do this... Travis was going to kill them both. But.. at least she could tell him that she knew how to use her Qi now. That was a good thing. He would be happy about that.... Right?
She finally reached her door, and gave her shirt one last tug, fixing it in place. Currently, she was wearing Matrims ripped up shirt, tied around her to cover the rip and herself. There were small spots of blood from her burnt skin. She turning the handle and opened it. She shot Matrim one last look and then pushed the door open. She hoped he wasn't stupid enough to say anything about what else had happened in the park. She loved Travis. He didn't need to know that. The point was, she was coming back home to him. And wasn't leaving him.

Matrim had driven the bike somewhat fast. He had just his bare chest, and his bare feet, so he didn't want to stay on the road very long. The longer he was like this, the more it hurt to drive. If he hit anything it would hit him like a brick wall, but he would just tough it out. Though with luck the ride over he didn't hit any random flying objects while driving her back. The whole time back he still felt that pain in him, what they had done, it was bigger then the moment. It was like a stone cast into water, it would ripple, and it would stir up some bad waves. She wouldn't want Travis to know, that was a given.
He didn't care of Reira knew or didn't, he just wanted to undo it. He wanted to take back the mistake. Something he would never tell Sara, something that would stay inside of him for quite some time. In either case, he got to the place and got off of the bike. He followed her to her door. He knew Travis was probably in there, so when she opened the door, he was going to walk in there. Something inside of him screamed that he would be coming out of there a lot worse off physically, and he was alright with that.
He deserved a lot worse.
Here we go...

Travis hadn't really been home for more then a half-hour. He had gone out to buy a few things for his own motorcycle. Since then, he had just say down to watch a movie, and he just happened to be watching "Pineapple Express". As soon as one of the best lines of the whole movie came blaring out from the TV he had up pretty lod. 'You just got killed by a Daewoo Lanos, motherfucker!' the apartment door would open wide. Travis' would push himself from his seat and take a few steps to glance down the hall. He'd catch sight of not only Sara, but of Matrim as well.
"Hey hun, Wha~"
Travis' eyes would just then catch sight of the condition of her clothing, and his eyebrows would lift slightly. He was a little confused, that was for sure. He wasn't exactly sure what happened, but Matrim was shirtless, and Sara's own shirt was only half there. His right hand would lift to the side of his head, and his scratch at it while he stood there a little confused, and wondering what the hell could have happened.
"What happened to you two?"

Sara pushed open the door and stepped inside, taking off her shoes and looking around for Travis. Her eyes fell on him, standing there, scratching his head. She sighed, looking away. This was going to be hard. Really hard. After Matrim had entered, she'd close the door and step further into the apartment, wringing her hands together as she walked towards him.
"What happened to you two?"
She smiled, one hand lifting to her cheeks. By now, he would see the burns on her face. Not the one on her chest. Not yet. But the ones on her cheeks would be easy enough to see.
She stepped up to him, and she opened her arms, wrapping them around him in a small hug. "Hey babe... Umm... Me and Matrim... We got in a little fight... We gotta talk hun, but first, I gotta get changed and put something on these burns..."
She wasn't planning on telling him anything more then they had fought so that she could learn to use her Qi and it had gotten a little to rough and now... She had a really bad burn on her chest. She hoped Matrim didn't jump the gun and say anything. She would have to kill him... Of course, there would be nothing left after Travis got done with him.
Without waiting to see what they said, she stepped off to to the side and walked down the hall to her room. She paused, wondering if she should ask Travis if he had a shirt he could lend Matrim, but then decided against it. She would wait and see how this went. She continued down the hall to her room.

"What happened to you two?" Well, for once he didn't automatically assume something. Which although comforting, only made him feel all the worse for everything. Yet he couldn't bring himself to feel bad for Travis, not right now. Not when he was too hurt feeling for Rei. Maybe later he could find time to feel guilty towards him, but it sure as hell wasn't going to be now.
"Hey babe... Umm... Me and Matrim... We got in a little fight... We gotta talk hun, but first, i gotta get changes and put something on these burns..."
She ran off to hug him and Matrim looked down and looked up and said, "What are you... a large? Mind if I uhh... bum a shirt off of you? I drive a bike, and the wind is a bitch......."
Jesus christ I forgot how hard this guy hits... why am I still here? Oh well... I owe him enough to at least lie about this all and tell him what happened up to the hand burning. Then... dear lord what if our stories don't match. What if she says one thing and I say another.... then I run away. Simple as that, I run and I run, and I jump on my bike, key is already in the ignition as always, and I drive........
"Hey is that... do I hear pineapple express? God this movie is funny....." He said, trying to open up a conversation. After all, him and Travis could talk all friendly and whatnot since he wasn't out to rip his throat out quite yet.

Hey babe... Umm... Me and Matrim... We got in a little fight... We gotta talk hun, but first, i gotta get changes and put something on these burns...
Travis blinked for a few moments, and then glanced toward her cheek. This hadn't been what Travis expected to hear, that was for sure. He had originally thought maybe they had been in some kind fo accident, but that wouldn't have made much since that they simple had walked home afterwards. No, it had been a fight.. But Travis wasn't too sure why his girlfriend had been burned. Unless it was because of a Qi.. But last Travis had known Matrim only had the bullet proof Qi. Something wasn't right.
What are you... a large? Mind if I uhh... bum a shirt off of you? I drive a bike, and the wind is a bitch.......
"Yeah.. I'll grab you something when she get's finished."
It was easy to tell Travis was a little upset at hearing that he had been fighting his girlfriend, but he would leave it alone for now. He had been trying to control his temper as of lately, at least when he was around Sara. He had a feeling though, that he wasn't going to like hearing this explaination. And as he stood here, eyes glaring toward Matrim, the pillar would speak up once again.
Hey is that... do I hear pineapple express? God this movie is funny.....
"Yeah. It's a great movie......"

Sara walked into her room and looked around. She didn't want to take to long, she had a bunch of stuff she needed to get ready if she was going to take care of the burns, and she still needed to get changed. She really didn't like the idea of leaving the two of them out there alone. It couldn't be the greatest idea. Especially if Matrim chose to say something, in which case it might mean that their stories didn't match up.
She walked over to her dresser and pulled open the first drawer, pulling out a pushup bra. The way it was designed would make it easier to treat the wounds and it wouldn't hurt the burnt skin. Then she opened the third drawer and pulled out a pair of track pants that she normally wore as pajamas. Then the second drawer, and she pulled out a tank top.
Walking over to the bed, and laying the clothes down, she undressed, being careful with the shirt. She pulled on the pants and then the tank top, not putting her arms through it and just letting it sit around her waist. Then the bra. She tossed the ripped and now bloodied shirt into the garbage and walked out of her room to the door across the hall and went into the bathroom. Yes. She crossed the hall with her shirt hauled down and only a bra. She was also planning on going into the living room like this.
She didn't really know how to treat burns. Not in the least. So she grabbed a few boxes of tissue paper from under the sink, and a bucket from next to the tub and filled it with lukewarm water. She looked at herself in the mirror, looking at the burn on her chest and cheeks. She felt... ugly now. She didn't like that... Would Travis think she was ugly to...? She knew she also had a cream somewhere for burns and stuff... Now where had she put that...? Opening the medicine cabinet, she saw it.
Grabbing her boxed of tissues, the cream, and her bucket, she hauled her shirt up higher, still not putting her arms through it, but pulling it up and over her bra she walked back out into the living room. She didn't know what to expect from the two of them, maybe Matrim was already dead... She had only been a few minutes though... Couldn't be to bad.
What was going to be bad was the fact that the fingers of the burn on her chest could be seen just over the neck of her tank top. It was a low cut shirt, but it was disheartening. She wouldn't be able to wear tank tops anymore... Unless it healed enough that it was only a faint scar... She could hope right...?

"Yup..." He said, standing around, not really doing anything. It kind of sucked, it was really awkward, and not just because of what happened. Matrim had never really had much of a friendship with Travis, although there was the one time that they bonded by fighting, and Travis beat Matrim. Which was actually fun. Matrim wanted to fight Travis again, just not like this. Not over something. A fight with a reason ruined all the fun, it got personal, and took away all the suspense. It was almost as bad as betting on a fight. It spoiled the ending. And when an ending meant everything, the journey became pointless. Each punch became an obstacle between the the fighters and knowing an outcome. As opposed to being what they should be, enjoyable punches.
Oh well... I brought this on myself. Hopefully he doesn't get all macho over this whole situation....
Sara came back with a few wardrobe malfunctions but he quickly turned his eye sight to Travis, avoiding looking at Sara in front of him when she was in her state of somewhat undress. Sure she was clothed and fine, but some part of him felt guilty for looking at her with him here. So he avoided it. "You feeling better Sara?" He asked, quickly looking over to her face to see how she reacted. She had burn marks on her from the fight, "Find something for those burns?"

You feeling better Sara? Find something for those burns?
"She's a tough girl, I'm sure she's fine.."
Yes, Travis was a little curious about this whole situation. After all, the short time he spent with Matrim was awkward enough. The boy seemed a whole lot more talkative both time he's had seen him before. But maybe that was just Travis' imagination. either way, Travis would shift his weight, and glace over toward his girlfriend. He'd begin to walk toward her and he'd drop his hands to her sides, and lean forward to give her a little kiss on the forehead. He didn't want to make it seem like he didn't care, especially with the way he had just spoken, but he wanted to make sure they stayed on track. He wanted to know what happened.
"How did you get those burns?"
His question was obviously directed toward Sara, whom he was still holding by her sides. His hands gently rubbing, as he'd take a moment to throw Matrim a glance once again. When he had heard about Sara's ankle, he had wanted to hurt the boy pretty bad. And now it was burns? Travis would obviously look down from where he stood, and those keen icy blues would catch sight of fingers of the burn. Travis wasn't sure if they'd scar, it was entirely possible. Regardless, he wouldn't abandon her because she had a few scars. She was still beautiful to him.
But Matrim on the other hand.. He was expendable in Travis' eyes. Last time they met, Travis could have gone so much farther then he did, he could have pushed it harder then he did, and broken the boy. But he was Sara's friend. He had forgave and forgot about his first offense. Now though, he had hurt her twice. And this time it could possibly evident on her body for the rest of her life. You could definitely say he was angry. But he was going to wait for an explanation first.. Or try to anyways.

"You feeling better Sara? Find something for those burns?"
Sara sent small nod in Matrims direction, smiling at Travis' comment. If he only knew... Her head turned back to her boyfriend as she carried her items further into the room. She debated where she should do this. The couch would do fine she figured. She could use the coffee table to put the stuff on, and just sit on the edge of the couch. Simple really. But apparently she wasn't going to go to the couch yet.
She paused as she saw Travis come towards her, her heart beating out of her chest. Oh God... He was going to see the print now... He placed his hands on her sides and kissed her forehead asking her about the burns. She dropped her gaze, a little shy and a lot nervous. The thoughts ran through her mind on high speed as she tried to think of where to start. She didn't want Matrim to get in trouble. That was important to her. He had done an amazing thing for her, bringing out her Qi. She felt Travis' gaze on her, and she knew he could see the tips of the burn. She herself could see them as she looked downwards, avoiding his gaze.
She pulled herself out of Travis' grasp and moved around him, walking over to the coffee table, and setting her things down on it. "Ya, we had some burn cream, I'm going to see if that'll work okay on them. I hope it does." She sat down on the couch, her gaze falling to Travis again.
"Well... okay ya... Me and Matrim got to fighting, and things... got a little rough... Ended up with a burn on my ankle, and minor ones on my cheeks... and then my chest... But I got my Qi Travis! I figured it out!" She gave a sad smile, and figured that a good time to reveal the print on her chest, was with the deliverance of good news. So she pulled her legs up on the couch as she spoke and then pulled down the front of her shirt, revealing the severely burnt skin in the shape of a hand print... right between her breasts.
She knew that her just pulling down the front of her shirt was probably going to be a bad idea, but now... They had both seen what she had to hide, so there was no problem there. And she had her bra on. She never got guys like that. It was a bra. It was no different then wearing a bikini. Really. Her eyes moved between the two guys, waiting to see what happened.

Matrim would be focusing on Travis during all of this, staying exactly where he was, completely still. Wondering what Travis would do, Matrim thought it best to be ready to run if she said something incredibly revealing as to what they did.
"Well... okay ya... Me and Matrim got to fighting, and things... got a little rough... Ended up with a burn on my ankle, and minor ones on my cheeks... and then my chest... But I got my Qi Travis! I figured it out!"
At the word 'rough' Matrim was ready to bolt, he didn't though, he kept his poker face and decided to explain a bit of his own side of the story as well, "People having powers isn't exactly strange to her any more." He said, keeping his focus on Travis for his reaction. Especially when she pulled down her shirt to show the scar. Matrim had seen enough of her today that he wasn't going to gawk over a view of her bra. Especially since his hand print was there. He just focused on Travis, remaining in the same spot in case something went horribly bad. "And as you can tell my Qi has changed to. It's a little more offensive then defensive."
Flaming hands, definitely not the greatest defensive maneuver. Sure blocking punches and kicks is great with it, but it's primary focus is what's on her chest right now......

And then my chest..-
Fireworks immediately set off in Travis' head. His eyes looked back down toward Sara's chest, and I'd catch a better sight at the burn. In the shape of a hand. Those icy blue's narrowed and Travis' body immediately shifted, as he took a huge step on his right foot and lunged his left hand to grab at Matrim's throat. He was going to apply pressure, but he wasn't going to crush his throat or anything like that. He was simply trying to grab him so that he could KINDLY bring him outside without wrecking their new apartment. He didn't want it to look like another earthquake hit.
"Lets go have a little chat outside.."
If Travis caught him, he'd immediately force Matrim backwards, and continue forcing him back until they reached the door. Travis would twist slightly and try to hold him against the wall, and he'd pull the door open. He really hadn't planned to lose his temper around Sara again. He was trying his best to keep himself from freaking out right now. Why did everyone have to bother him and his girlfriend. First the kid breaks her ankle, and now he scars her for life? On her chest no less, a place where his hand shouldn't have even been.
He's pull the door open and then pivot and toss Matrim head first out into the parking lot. He'd stride out after him, his face a little contorted with anger. Maybe Travis was thinking of scaring him for life. Matrim deserved it. He wasn't going to let it slide a second time. But something seemed weird. Matrim seemed far too focused on Travis, and he hadn't even so much as seen him glance at Sara. It felt odd. As he approached Matrim, he'd lock those icy blues upon Matrim's eyes. He wanted to see if the male would even look him in the eyes.

Matrim's Qi ignited. One of the benefits of standing in the same spot and getting prepared. But he kept his hands out of sight behind him. He allowed Travis to grab him by the throat and haul him outside, and when he was free from Travis again he would raise his right hand up, staring into Travis' eyes. "Want to match? I mean, hell, it's one way to get closer to her. Besides, what do you care? I did what I had to do to get her Qi to present itself. It's only able to show up in extreme circumstances, and guess what? It did. So be happy for her."
Matrim struggled to remember exactly how much time after her Qi presented that the hand print was created. Of course, he would leave that little tid bit out. He was getting a bit defensive, but only because if he didn't it'd make it look like he felt he deserved this. If they hadn't hooked up mid fight, and the worst thing he had done was burn her chest, this was how he would react.
"I have a new Qi," He said, it was obvious since he said it before, "If you really want to test it out feel free. Fight me, but don't go doing this just because she got a little burnt up in our fight. Just be glad it was me, and not somebody who would have done some real damage to her."

As soon as the words had left Sara's mouth she dropped her gaze, her hands opening a box of tissues and dipping a hand full of them into the bucket of water. She wrung them out and place them on the burn on her chest, wincing in pain as the water felt cold against the hot, burnt skin. This sucked... She really wanted to cry. In pain and embarrassment and sadness. She heard Matrim say something but refused to look at either of the males in her home now.
And then all hell broke loose. Her head shot up to see Travis grab Matrim by the throat. She dropped her wad of tissues and pushed off the couch, pulling her shirt back up to cover her bra.
"Lets go have a little chat outside.."
She followed them outside, shocked at the sudden violence. Things had been going to so well. He had been taking it so much better then she had expected, and then he had just... exploded. Now it looked like they were going to fight... Oh shit... And then Sara realized with a shock of horror that Matrim had his Qi ignited. She got close to the two of them, but tried to stay out of the way. She knew this was between the two of them, and it wasn't her place to step in, but she would if she had to. No doubt about it, neither of them was going to get hurt in front of her.
But the way Matrim was talking... She was actually kind of offended at his tone and the way he was talking about her. Like she had asked for this. Like she had asked for everything that had happened between them. He was talking like he really didn't like her, and didn't really care.
As Matrim finished speaking, she took another step forward, pulling the shirt up again. "Guys... Really... Common... Don't do this, we can talk this out..." She shot an angry, hateful glare at Matrim. "He's right hun... I don't think I could have gotten my Qi if he hadn't... really tried against me... We talked about this, remember? Me and you couldn't do it, because we both knew you wouldn't ever hurt me..." She knew it probably wasn't going to help much, and right now, ya. Matrim deserved a shot to the head, but she really didn't want them fighting.

It was obvious as soon as Travis picked Matrim up that he had a new qi. Travis had known what he had, and this was obviously something different. Travis still had his own Qi which he had never revealed. Maybe he would. Or maybe he wouldn't. Travis wasn't sure yet. He preferred using his own body, not some special gift. The heat from the fire which burst out over Matrim was hot, Travis could feel the burn on his fingers and the gloves beginning to heat up. But he had no plans to let Matrim go until he was outside. Travis would toss him and his walk was on.
Sara soon followed and Matrim was trying to explain himself. Regardless Travis had already made up his mind. Matrim needed to learn not to hurt her. He had done something that can't ever be taken off. And it was only fair that someone did it to him. Travis ignored just about everything he said, but he'd stop before Matrim when he heard Sara's voice.
Guys... Really... Common... Don't do this, we can talk this out... He's right hun... I don't think I could have gotten my Qi if he hadn't... really tried against me... We talked about this, remember? Me and you couldn't do it, because we both knew you wouldn't ever hurt me...
Travis would shake his head. It didn't matter. It would be best for him to get his anger out now, instead of letting it settle inside of him. He'd fight and hurt Matrim here, and then it would be out of his system. It was the best for everyone. But he was really beginning to dislike the dude. Pretty soon he'd be pretty sick of him. But as long as he didn't hurt her again, it would be all right. Travis would learn to ignore him. For now, he was going to hurt him. His right foot would snap out, and Travis would look to slam the heel of his boot against the thigh area just above Matrim's knee. HE just wanted something solid to land, so it would slow him down quite a bit. Especially with the force Travis could dish out.
