The girl was being a little copy cat. That was alright with him though, she was at least learning that way. He braced himself, by putting his right leg back a little bit, his arm came back to him, and with the other they blocked the thrust that would have hit his chest. Her knee tapped him in the hip, but it didn't do much damage to him. She had succeeded in hitting him, in getting close, in countering. But now it was his turn.
His right hand shot to grab her arm at the elbow, the other was launched in a fist to nail her in the stomach. Since she was quite close to him, the grab was more than likely going to succeed. There was still quite a bit for her to learn about fighting, she hadn't even begun to scratch the surface just yet. He had sacrificed a little bit of his own health to get a good position, and this was a good position. If he grabbed her arm, she was boned.
"Gotcha."

"Gotcha."
He had her by the elbow. Shit... This wasn't good. She had known she needed to be in and out, quick with her attacks. But he had still gotten caught. She had hit him though. With her leg. She had tapped his hip. That was good right? Meant she was either lucky, or she was improving. At this point? She would take either.
But now he had her by the elbow. And his fist was coming in towards her stomach. From her kick, her balance was off, she couldn't dodge or block in time. It slammed into her and she coughed out in pain as the air was knocked from her. But she had tried. Her other hand flew up to grab the hand he had punched her with. As it slammed into her she would try to wrap her hand around his wrist. She didn't know what she hoped to accomplish, but she knew it would freeze up his hands. Then, she planted her left foot and brought her right knee up towards his stomach. If she had caught his hand, she would pull him towards her, hoping to add some extra force to her knee.

The punch he had issued was a quick one, and it escaped her grasp by an inch. To be more descriptive it was a quick jab into her stomach, but powerful enough to do the damage he had done to her. Her leg started to come up, and he raised his own knee to block it. With the block done he put his leg down and would proceed to try to slam his other leg into her side. Valekin held on to that elbow of hers with quite a bit of strength, and the claws were right there on her skin. He could easily dig them into her skin if she tried to escape him. In doing so she would effectively hurt herself more.
It was definitely a 'gotcha' situation.
Valekni wasn't particularly grinning, but he wasn't particularly frowning. He had a serious face on, His mind had drawn a relative blank, just going through the motions of combat like it was nothing. He was quite the experienced player, quite the experienced fighter. He was a lot more than what he looked.

Again... Epic fail... She was ready to give up. She wasn't landing any worth while hits. It would have even been ok with she was slowly wearing him down, but not even that was happening. She hadn't been able to grab him and her knee was blocked. She wasn't even surprised anymore.
Her gaze fell to his hand gripping her elbow. It was the guy from her room. Those... claws proved it. Her abdomen gave a pang of pain. She didn't want to fight this guy any more. She had no chance against him, at all. What did he want from her? She obviously wasn't worth shit in his eyes. Her gaze moved to his face, to his blank stare. He wasn't even concentrating. This... was ridiculous. The guy could kick her ass and not even have to pay attention to her. How was that for proof of how weak you were?
But she wouldn't give up just yet. One or two more shots, then, if she hadn't managed to get anything good on him, then she would give up... Swallow her pride and beg for mercy. Oh god.. That thought killed her... But it fueled her on as well. Her free hand drew back and slammed forward towards his face.

She had finally punched him in the face, and left a small bruise on his cheek. Yet he came right back with a good punch directed for the side of her head. The temple. What was the point in hitting the face when he could hit her in the skull? That would certainly deal more damage than messing up her face. Besides, she was pretty. He wasn't going to mess up her face if he didn't have to. The rest of the head was fare game. Usually people messed up the faces of people they really hated, or were really jealous of.
Valekin was jealous of no one, and didn't hate this girl.
Though the fight was just about over anyway. She continued to press on. That was good of her. It showed that she was determined, which was a good quality to have. As a fighter, she could use some improvements, and Valekin planned on giving her free lessons, as often as she'd like.
"I'll say this much. You're determined, and stubborn. That's good. Your fighting can use some work, but you'll get better."

YES! OMGNOWAI! She had hit him! She was shocked. She had finally landed a punch. And to his face. Oh god... To his face... This couldn't be good... Her emotion went from elation to fear as she realized she would probably pay for that. And she would pay because she hadn't kept focused. She had let herself get excited and then lose her focus, and now there was a fist coming right for her temple. Well... Atleast it wasn't her face...
It slammed into her temple and her knees collapsed under her. He still had her by the arm. He was still had the upper position. She had taken quite a few good hits, and given only one or two small ones. She had no chance. She was giving up.
"I'll say this much. You're determined, and stubborn. That's good. Your fighting can use some work, but you'll get better."
She refused to look up at him, trying to calm herself, stop her body from attacking again. She needed to know when to give up. That was what Matrim had tried to teach her. And despite what everyone thought, she had learned. She stood no chance against him. She needed to stop if she wanted to fight him another day. She hoped he realized how hard this was for her. If he had been watching her and shit like he had implied, then he should know she NEVER gave up, and this was actually VERY hard for her. She also hoped he knew that if he kept going, she would continue to fight. Not that she expected him to be scared, more she hoped he knew she was as determined as he thought.
"How do you know I can get better? What if I don't huh?" She finally looked up at him, her face hard and angry. "Now let go of me."

"Because you just did. Idiot."
He said as he dropped her arm. Valekin was done with her for now. There would be more pummeling later, but he wasn't about to let her go. Not when he wasn't absolutely sure that she wasn't going to turn on him. After this breaking in, and the threat of chemical rockets raining down from the sky, he expected he would need to perhaps torture her some more, or maybe instruct her as to what he was hoping to accomplish by capturing her.
"So the gangs at school. They're a problem. Things will escalate out of control eventually, always does. That's unless people are prepared to do what they can to stop it. I'm prepared to do anything and everything to stop countless kids from getting their lives ruined over petty shit. My life was ruined by a type of gang, so why should I let it happen to others?"
He paused, still looking down on her.
"No reason to. So that's why I kidnapped you. I need the conflicts to escalate so I can identify who is on what side. I also need people on the inside. Which is surprisingly harder than it sounds."
Valekin smiled at her.
"Militia, the Reapers, the Dragons. They'll feel the pain they've inflicted upon others in due time. You on the other hand, have been through quite a lot haven't you? People in gangs have done it to you too. So why shouldn't you work for me?"

"So why shouldn't you work for me?"
She looked up at him. That was a lot to take in... She didn't know what to say. He made a lot of good points... Not that she completely agreed that the situations between the gangs needed to be made worse just to see who was involved on what side... She just didn't see how kidnapping her was going to do it... There had to be better ways to be able to figure out who was on what side. She didn't think she knew anyone in a gang besides the people in Militia. It was Militia that she had had the most contact with, and as far as she knew, the only one she had had contact with.
But did she really even have a choice? She looked around the room. She didn't think there was really another way out of this. It seemed to her that it was give in, or die... Or have other people die... either way, if she didn't give in, someone was dying. She doubted she'd make it out of the room if she disagreed.
"I don't know why not... I guess... I want to work for you..." She looked up at him, her expression that of shock. She had just given into him. She had no idea where this was going to now... For all she knew she was going to be killed just for agreeing. But the shock was more the realization that she agreed with him that the gangs needed to be brought down. She had turned down an offer from someone else similar to this one... But she had joined with Rem to bring down Militia... She knew who the members were even, by name and face. She had been set to bring them down before all this had happened. Sadness, anger, fear, and... excitement swirled through her mind as she looked up at him.

"Good. You ought to get some sleep now. It'll be morning in an hour."
Valekin said as he headed towards the door. He was by no means letting her go, he was waiting for her to follow him. There were places for her to sleep in this place. This series of buildings that housed his operations. He would lead her through some hallways, past a kitchen and towards what appeared to be a series of dorm rooms. They were mostly unoccupied. He did have guards follow him, guards with guns. Valekin would survive getting shot. But if she got the slick idea to cut and run, she was mistaken.
"Pick a room that isn't taken. There's a bed in there, and other essentials. There aren't any windows, and there are guards up all night. Call if you need something."

Sara picked the key up off the ground so she could undue the handcuffs that were still attached to her left wrist, and followed him towards the door. They were actually going to let her get some sleep? As she followed him down the halls, looking around, she wondered if she wanted to sleep. She did. A lot actually. Her whole body hurt, but her head was just pounding in pain. She wanted Advil. Badly. She was scared. The guards with guns weren't helping. She didn't even bother to think about running, knowing she would be caught before she got away.
They finally stopped outside what looked like dorms. She looked around, trying to choose one. She really wished they would have just pointed one out to her. But no. She had to choose. And choosing, for Sara, was hard. Very hard.
She stepped up to one door and opened it. Seeing it was empty she walked inside. She went straight to the bed and crawled into it. She rolled on her side, her back facing the wall. She was asleep almost immediately. She had meant to stay awake and just relax her body as she watched the door, but it hadn't worked. And then the dreams started. Nothing scary. Nice actually. Back at home with Travis, in her own bed, her own home. The type, that when she woke up, would make her cry in sadness.
