The man let her go, unchaining her from the pipe. Her hands were still cuffed and she looked down at them sadly. Why was this happening to her? She didn't deserve this. This was... unfair. She jumped when the gun was pushed into her back. She took that as her cue, and began walking.
They led her to a padded room and she looked around, confused. That guy, the crazy one, had followed her. She wanted to kill him. The anger and rage built up inside her, boiling just under the surface. But she knew she couldn't. She wasn't going to be strong enough. And, even if by some chance, she beat him, or came close to it, his men wouldn't allow her to live. The would kill her. She guessed that it was in this room, this "training" they were talking about, was going to be a fight. She would get her chance to fight him, only to be beaten down quickly. To have her hope, and any other sense of fight in her, crushed.
The guard with the gun left, and it was just the two of them. She watched him closely, fear running up and down her spine as she watched him. He had the keys to her cuffs dangling in front of her. Her eyes narrowed as she watched them.
He threw the keys at her, and they landed at her feet. Dropping to her knees quickly she began to try to fit the key into the cuffs, her hands shaking to badly to get it in. She let out a growl of frustration, taking a deep breath and then trying again. She got the key into the hole of the cuff of her right hand and turned it, the cuff opening and falling away from her hand. Without wasting a beat she dropped the key, pushing to her feet.
The cuff was still attached to her left hand, and she intended to use the open part, the part for her right hand, as a weapon. Her left fingers closed around the part that made the cuffs bend, holding it open, the teeth, which kept them closed, facing outward. She threw herself at him, throwing her left arm forward, to slash at his side with the makeshift weapon, trying to stab him or cut open his side.

Valekin waited and watched her struggle to get the cuffs off herself. Unsurprised completely, she had gotten them off and then flung herself at him like she was trying to glomp him. Except she had those sharp pointy bits in her one hand with the cuffs. He had given her a weapon. That was fine, he had weapons too. As she came in at him and began her attack he backpedaled and preformed a snap kick that would hit her square in the head if she wasn't careful.
Yes, a nice snap kick to nail her right in the side of the head that was not the side holding the sharp and pointy cuffs. That was what he executed and hoped for. Really, there wasn't any reason why it wouldn't hit. She was moving in at him, and he could predict her actions reasonably well, and she had shown previously that she wasn't too good at the predicting thing.
Honestly, it was probably because he was more experienced and had more skill than she did. If it missed, well, then he'd probably be stabbed. But that wouldn't be too healthy for her to begin with. We know what happens when Valekin gets hurt.

As she threw herself forward in her first attack, she was cursing herself. She had hoped to catch him off guard, and do major damage. Instead, he backpedaled. The frustration in her kicked up a notch. She should have known better. The first attack never hit. Never. She should have saved this for later. Well... There was nothing to say she couldn't try again. And again. Until she ripped this fuckers head off.
His leg snapped up at the side of her head. She was quick, but he was just as fast. And more experienced. You could tell just by looking at him that this guy had been around the block before. And destroyed the whole damn city when he was done. He was dangerous. And she was just... a girl. A small weak girl. But she Sara. And if anyone knew her, they would know she didn't give up. Ever. The scar of a hand print on her chest proved that. She couldn't dodge the kick. It slammed into the side of her head and she was knocked to the side.
She landed on her side, slightly dazed. As soon as she landed she pushed herself into a crouch, her gaze on him. Ok. From this point on, she needed to be a little more careful. She was no good with the attacking part. She sucked at it. Her strength came in her ability to counter. So she would wait for him to come to her. That simple. Right...?
She balanced on the balls of her feet, crouched low to the ground, hands in front of her. The cuffs continued to hand from her left wrist, weighting the hand down, but it was better then losing them completely. If worse came to worse, later, she would find a way to stop it from hanging. But for now? It was fine. And so she waited for him.

He didn't wait to approach her. As soon as he sent her flying he was moving to catch up with where she would be getting up. As she would be getting up, Valekin would be sending a fist right for her face. It would probably be hitting her on the side of the face, right on the cheek. The good thing about this fight was that she would get some of the best medical treatment right after, if she needed it.
This was a teaching session. She might be trying to kill him. But he was teaching her about a few things.
The punch was a standard slug, he was fighting kind of like an amateur at this particular moment in time. Like he was some kind of street rat. Like he was just a kid that didn't know jack shit about combat. Valekin could kill a man with just about anything. Then he would eat the guy too. That was how badass this Serb was. Totally badass.

She pushed herself into a crouch and her gaze fell to him. Only, he was closer then she had thought he would be. Shit... He was already on the move. Pretty much had already reached her.
He surprised her though. A simple punch right to her face. She had expected his attacks to be... more... extravagant. There was just something about him that said he could fight. And fight well. A punch... Didn't seem like him. She wasn't about to let her guard down thinking this was going to just be that simple.
The punch was coming for her cheek. She couldn't get back away from it quick enough, so she moved forward, pushing off the balls of her feet towards him when he got close enough. The punch would go past her as she moved towards him. She would then try to grapple him. Probably not the smarted move, but it would save her the damage of the punch to the cheek and get her close to him. Unless he had other plans.
Her arms would wrap around his waist and try to pull him to the ground. She had learned from the fight in her house not to go airborne when doing this. All the guy had done was fall on her and look where it had landed her. Nope. Not this time. She would keep her feet on the ground so she couldn't be pinned like that again. As soon as her arms wrapped around him, his right foot would plant and push to the side trying to drop them both to the ground.

Valekin planted a foot back and braced himself for her attempted tackle. Her tackle failed, but she did get to hug him like she planned to. On the other hand, there was this other fist of his bearing down at the top of her skull. It was going to crash into her and cause one hell of a headache, probably, if she didn't move. Grappling with him wasn't such a good idea. He was doing basic shit because he was getting a feel for her. It seemed though that she was just extremely direct with her combat skills, and tended to have backup plans. But the back up plans kind of backfired a lot.
Or so he thought. That was his professional opinion, because here was a counter attack that was about to backfire into a humongous headache for her.
"Careful, getting too close to an enemy without knowing what they're capable of is a bad idea."
He said, as words of advice. The battle was probably his already, but he needed to start instructing her somewhere.

Her arms wrapped around him, but she couldn't bring him down. Well that had sucked. Completely sucked. Attempt number one down... Epic fail.
As soon as she realized he wasn't coming down with her she pushed off of him, trying to get away. And just in time to as his fist slammed downwards at her head. Because she had moved it would only graze her, but it would still sting. Her hands would push off his sides giving her greater momentum to step away from him, putting distance between them.
That had hurt. Pretty badly to. Her gaze would fall back to him as she gained her balance on her feet again, standing a few feet from him. Her hands would move to her head where his punch had grazed her. She had heard him. It was good advice. She just wasn't used to fighting like that. She had a thick skull, and even after all the fights she had been in, she still just didn't get it. But she could try. It was obvious that his words were meant as advice, and if she wanted to make it out of her, she had better heed it.
So she would take a small step forward, both fists clenching. She would need to be careful. She would cock her left fist back, the cuffs still dangling for her wrist. And then she would step forward, closing the distance. But instead of her left fist moving forward, she would try to switch things up a little. Her right would slam in from the side at his cheek, and then then left at his nose.

Valekin smiled as she seemed to take his advice, she had come in at him kind of slowly with a fist cocked back. He expected something fishy, either she was incredibly bad, thinking cocking and holding a fist back would charge it up or something, or she was being deceptive. One of those things where you poke someone's right shoulder, but you're on the left of them. Valekin was quite smart, you don't get to be Black Ops, graduate from high school at the age of fifteen, and have college degrees in America by twenty by being an idiot.
The right fist came in, and Valekin's head bobbed under it with his body. He was moving somewhat fancily, but how his feet moved wasn't important, no one would be looking at that. And if you were, then you're going to get punched in the face for not paying attention to your enemy. As the second fist came in at his face, he bobbed and weaved under and around that one as well. Though it would seem like he was toying with her, he wasn't. He was just getting in closer. Both his hands were placed in front of her chest, then they were thrust hard at her. A central strike right to her chest would probably send her backwards quite a bit, (especially by using both hands) and was probably unavoidable at this distance. Hooray for palm thrusts.

She threw her fists one after another. She had moved to quickly, not waiting long enough to see how he had reacted. All she knew, was it hadn't worked, neither attack making contact, and now he was right in front of her. She was stunned. Attempt two... Epic fail.
This was bullshit. How was she supposed to even land a hit on him... What the fuck did he want from her? It was obvious that she wasn't good enough for this crap. But she would keep trying... And she hated herself for it. She would keep trying because she knew she had to. But it was what he wanted wasn't it? And that was the part that got her.
She wanted to move back, to get away from him before he could do anything else, but before she could his hands pushed her back and she was sent away from him. She just barely managed to keep her balance and stay on her feet by holding onto one of the padded walls for support. That shit had hurt. With how close he had hit her, and how hard, it had hurt. Bad. Her hand rubbed over the spot he had hit.
Ok. See? She could learn. No more shots to the head. It wasn't working. She took an offensive stance again and ran at him. This time, her right fist drew back, and her left fist lifted slightly. She was counting on the fact that he would think she was going to go for another one of her surprise things.
She would close the distance quickly, this time, her right fist would slam forward directly into his chest area. Then her left would shoot in for a shot at his right side, aiming for his ribs.

Surprise was Valekin's game. No one else had as many tricks or traps up their sleeves as Valekin, and he didn't even have sleeves right now. She came in and attacked him, as he knew she would. In his opinion she was still far too direct, but she was learning. The strike at the chest would miss. Why? Because he twisted his body to the side, and leaned back. This way he was facing her fist, and the other one would be coming in at his back.
As she moved to slam her other fist into it's target area, now his back, he actually spun towards her, and not only towards her, but moving down. The result? He would be far too close for it to be comfortable, and his leg would sweep out to take both hers from under her. And we're not talking the ankle, we're talking the calf area. She would probably fall from the attack, if it connected, which it probably would. As her fist had indeed passed over his head, missing him by several inches.
Was he a tactician? Or really lucky?
Both.

Sara landed hard on her back, the air knocked from her lungs. He had done it again. He dodged her attacks with surprising ease. It was like he was a fucking psychic. She had to admit though, as she looked up at him, he was good. She felt the admiration in her. She was always willing to admit to herself when someone was good, and she did try to learn from people who were better then her.. but it was hard. And yet... She had learned more from this one man in the past 5 minutes then she had in any fight yet. Not that she would ever admit it to him. She tried to keep her face blank.. or angry, as she caught her breath trying to decide what to do next.
Well... Because of the way he had tripped her, using her calves rather then her ankles, she was actually quite close to him. Well, she seemed to be trying out the attacks he was using, mirroring him in a way, as they moved along. Why not continue. Ok. So a trip then. She was close enough that it might work.
She would move both legs simultaneously. Her left leg would move around him, trying to wrap around both his legs, but even one would work for now. She tried to watch her timing, making it so that her left leg would reach its target before her right. At the same time, her right leg shot up towards his stomach. The goal was to kick him in the center of his stomach, and make him trip over her leg. If he tried to dodge, then hopefully she would be able to sweep him then with her left leg.

The girl retaliated, but Valekin was long gone by the time those legs came in. After the sweeping kick, he used the momentum to roll backwards, and regain his feet. He was a few feet away from her by the time she had recovered and she kicked at him. The girl was kicking at the air pretty much. Flailing about like a fish out of water. He almost chuckled. The man gently scratched the back of his own head, and shook himself out.
"Learning yet?"
There was a genuine tone to what he had said. Learning from him was like learning from an ancient chinese master. The master was going to pummel the shit out of you, and abuse you in quite a few ways, but you'll be damned if you didn't learn the lessons he meant to teach you. Valekin would wait for her to get back on her feet.

"Learning yet?"
"Shut up!" She pushed herself back to her feet. He had already been gone by the time she had tried to attack him. He was a quick little bugger. Her body tensed and she took on a defensive stance while she tried to think through things quickly.
She didn't really know what to do now. She was no good with attacking. She looked at him, trying to find a weakness, or an opening she could use, but she could see nothing immediately noticeable. She didn't know how to approach this. She needed to get closer to him. It was as simple as that.
So she would circle. She would walk, facing him, until in her line of vision, there was a corner behind him. And then she would slowly walk towards him, her arms and hands held loosely in front of her in case he attacked.
One of three things would have to happen. One: He would attack her. In this case, her plan still worked. She didn't like attacking, and this would make him make the first move. Good. Two: He would back away, hopefully into the corner, and she would be able to get close to him. Good. Three: He wouldn't move and she would be able to get close to him. Good.

When she got up she had seemed to decide to circle him, thus Valekin decided to just go after her directly. He started walking towards her with a sort of purpose. The purpose? Pummel her and teach her at the same time. It was an odd purpose, but worked. This was part of their deal, remember? Of course you do. It was either that deal, or chemical rockets raining down on the city from the skies, and Valekin would be sitting on a beach in Florida, sipping some tea.
This was the final exam though. He was going to test her now that she had the lesson. The first attack came, it was a straightforward punch coming towards her head. Perhaps she would be able to dodge it, or do something else? Maybe the lesson would continue, maybe not. Valein's other arm was ready for some kind of action, as were his legs. Not quite moving, and not quite static, somewhere between in the moment.

She sighed as he began to circle her. Of course she wasn't going to get to test out her theories. Ohhh no. Nope. Didn't work like that. But it still worked. Just instead of her making the first move, he was. As she watched him coming closer, her heart was beating out of her chest. This guy was insane and he scared her. And here he was walking calmly towards her. But he damn well looked like her knew what he was doing.
She couldn't help but take a few steps back as he approached her, but she held her ground. She saw the simple punch come for her head. Ok, she could do this. Her attack was going to be a little extravagant, but if she could pull it off, it might turn the tables.
She dodged his punch, ducking down and to the left, putting her just to side of him. Her right foot planted in front of her and her two hands slapped out towards his mid chest. She would try to slam her palms into him. As they hit, she would both push him, to try to send him back a little, and knock him off balance. But as her hands would move to to slam into his chest, her left leg would come up, and her body would pivot on her right foot. Her left leg would bend, and lock in place, and she would try to slam either her knee or her whole thigh against his lower back as she pushed him back.
