"There is no one in this entire world, I would rather be with, than you. It has to be you, no one else."

There wasn't exactly much of anything to say at this point. Emily was, for the most part, more content that she has ever been in her life.

And for a moment, she could swear that she felt his heart beat through her skin. It was so strange. She never had this much direct body contact before. Emily loved the warmth Ryuu had, but the warmth she was feeling right now was totally different.

She was quite surprised though, when Ryuu pulled out a condom from his short's pockets. "You don't have to... If you don't want to. I don't want to force you into it. But I love you Emily, and nothing in this world, will ever change the feelings I have for you."

Her expression wasn't much of a surprise out of dislike, but more of the idea of him anticipating this. Emily was quite happy that he was considerate about it. How about her? Her thoughts began to wander onto the idea of her going on the pill soon. It wasn't a bad idea, after all. More than likely this wasn't going to be their last night together.

Or at least, she hoped.

With one movement, she rolled herself and Ryuu so that she was now with her back onto the bed. "There's no one else I'd want to do it with than you." Her eyes softened into an expression full of trust and anticipation. Emily's hands raised itself to caress his face, before pulling him down for a deep, sensual kiss. Trusting him completely, and for once that day - Emily pushed her thoughts away.

And from there, they began their rabid feats of fertility.

There was little more else to say, other than the fact that the two had finally consummated their relationship into something deeper, or at least - something a bit more than just holding hands and kissing. Okay, a lot more.

While everything was happening, there were were too few words to describe the things that Emily felt. There was pain, and then that famed burst of pleasure that she could admit that she may one day get addicted to.

And that feeling lasted for until late - just an hour before sunrise, maybe. Have they really been doing it for that long? Emily wasn't so sure, nor did she care at all. She smiled, snuggling against Ryuu as they laid on her bed. Well, she would have to buy new sheets due to some accident with both their Qi. Emily chuckled at the thought, and gave Ryuu a kiss right under his chin.

"I love you, Ryuu." She said. Things would certainly change from here on, would it? Maybe so, but Emily didn't want to care - at least, for now. She was fine for as long as Ryuu was with her. "I really do."

She then cuddled closer, now staring at the window as her arm wrapped itself around his chest. Mmm, maybe it was time for them to take a bath - but Emily just didn't want to leave.

Blame it on oxytocin.

"I wish I could just ditch school today and spend the day with you..."

Ryuu saw the expression on Emily's face, though it seemed to be less out of dislike, and more out of surprise of the fact that he had actually considered and anticipated this. In one movement, he felt the both of them roll, so that Emily was now the one lying down, as Ryuu stared straight down at her, his eyes softening at her words, as her own eyes softened into an expression of trust and anticipation. He saw her raise her hands up, as she caressed his face, as his heart began to beat even faster at her soft touch, before she pulled him down into a deep and sensual kiss. Letting go of everything he held in his mind, Ryuu leaned in closer, deepening the kiss. His mind not thinking deep for once, Ryuu still had the condom in his hand, gripping it, though it wouldn't be there for very long. There wasn't much to say, except that the two of them had finally consummated their love for each other past holding hands and kissing each other. And about time too, right Marianne?

With everything that had been happening and going on, there were not enough words to describe what Ryuu was feeling right now. But surprisingly, for his first time, Ryuu had been more passionate and gentle. The feeling continued on for several hours or so, give or take about an hour from sunrise. And even if they had been doing it for that long, Ryuu honestly didn't care right now. Ryuu felt Emily snuggle against him as the two of them laid on her bed, as he gave her a gentle smile. He made sure to remind him himself that he owed Emily some new bed sheets, due to the accident the both of them caused from their Qi. Something about setting the sheets on fire, literally? =D? Ryuu couldn't help but smile even more at the thought, this whole night had been nothing but intense, as he heard Emily chuckle, before giving him a kiss right underneath his chin. "I love you too Emily," He replied softly, as he gently caressed her cheek with his hand, "And I always will."

He felt her cuddle even closer to him, as she wrapped her arm around his chest while she stared out the window. Ryuu turned his head to look at her, before smiling at her. "I want to spend all the time I have with you, not just today..." He replied, as he slipped off the bed quietly, and standing in front of Emily, would lift her up and carry her in his arms, and considering how muscular he was, it was no problem for him. He would then head into her bathroom, and gently placed Emily down in the bathtub, before climbing in after her, and turn the shower on, letting the cool water bounce against his skin like rain, as he sat down in the bathtub, water running down his bare body, he reached out and wrapped his arm around Emily, gently pulling her closer to him, as he leaned back against the bathtub. "I love you Emily..."

You'd think, that with their obvious lack of sleep - and with their horribly tired bodies they'd have no energy to even talk right? That isn't completely right. Their bodies were tired - or at least, Emily was.

The things she had experienced were things she never bothered to venture into. Not once. Well, there's gotta be a first time for everything, right? Emily wanted him to stay. Emily didn't want to go to school.

She wanted to stay here, lying down on the bed with him the way she was doing right now. Partly biological reason, partly because she wanted to be with him much more. Yeah, at this moment Emily was quite sure of herself that she would be able to move on from the past.

What past?

"Unfettered"? Partly.

Militia? No. Emily was loyal to it, even now.

259? No. That place had leased a place in her heart, and even though Emily liked 42, it didn't have the sentimental value that 259 had for her.

But one could cling to the past for only so long.

Even the insecure; those who have fear of loss - could only let themselves stay at their comfort zones for a certain while, before they will be able to find closure and move on. Just like Emily.

"I want to spend all the time I have with you, not just today..."

Emily pouted playfully, "Don't talk as if you're going away for a long time and not coming bac- Hey!" Emily squirmed a bit, as Ryuu picked her up into his arms and brought her to the bathroom with him. He wasn't thinking of showering together, right?

Emily blushed a considerable amount, considering that they both were under full light now. The moonlight, at least, was modest in it's own way but florescent lighting? Emily half-wanted to cover herself, despite Ryuu having seen all of her already.

Emily smiled, as Ryuu let the shower run before climbing into the tub with her. Marianne was very amused, as she had seen this before on the anime NANA. Her face was of a tinge of pink, still quite shy.

The tub began to fill up with water, and Emily leaned back against Ryuu's chest to relax herself as he pulled her closer to him. Nope, she wasn't going to even try to think right now. Everything was just... too perfect, at least in Emily's mind.
"I love you Emily..."

"I love you. I love you. I love you." She replied, "I'd say it more, but I'd fall asleep before I'd finish."

Emily laughed. Yes, she was very comfortable with the way things were right now - and she would enjoy it at least.

Because after today, there will be some changes. Quite a few, as Emily had made up her mind on several things. There would be no holding back now. Emily snuggled closer to him, closing her eyes as the tub was already filled halfway at this point.

"Mmm..." She said, organizing her thoughts before she began to speak again, "I think I... I will revive Militia..."

Yeah.

She had been waiting for "Unfettered" for so long, holding back primarily because she was unsure. Well, as of this moment - she thought she didn't have much to lose.

That is, of course - unless Jon didn't want Militia revived.

Was that even possible?

Another thing to ponder on.

Ryuu chuckled bemusedly as Emily pouted playfully, before picking her up in his arms, as she squirmed a bit. Granted, his body was tired, and the both of them were functioning on zero hours of sleep, but Ryuu still had the strength to carry her in his arms as he entered the bathroom. Ryuu blushed just as furiously as Emily did, because while the moonlight did provide quite a bit of light, it also provided a cover of darkness as well. Florescent lighting on the other hand, made Ryuu want to cover himself and look away instinctively, despite the fact he had seen all of Emily, and vice versa. He then turned the shower on, smiling back at Emily, as he disposed of the condom safely before he climbed into the tub after her, the blush still on his face. Even though the two of them had consummated their love for each other, he was still, in essence, a teenager, and was naturally still shy about this kind of stuff. As the tub began to fill up with water, as he felt Emily against his chest as he pulled her closer to him. He wasn't really worried about anything right now, as water continued to run down his chest.

Ryuu chuckled quietly, as he shifted slightly from stretching his arm out and turned the shower off, the tub filled about halfway, as droplets of water dripped off his hair and once again returned to the water it had come from. Ryuu was comfortable with the way things were right now, and he wouldn't have it any other way. He felt her snuggle closer to him as she closed her eyes, his arm still wrapped around her. "?" Was his reaction, as he looked down at Emily, his eyes soft as he smiled at her. "And I'll be right there beside you, helping you every step of the way. I'm part of Militia too. Unless... You don't want my help...?" A single bead of water dripped off Ryuu's hair, landing on and running down his chest, as he slicked his front hair back, up and away from his face. "I won't let anyone take you away from me... No one..."

Emily smiled a bit and leaned against Ryuu, nuzzling her head against his shoulder. For one thing, Emily never liked to act on her own - primarily because of the fact that her on insecurities make her believe that it was best to have another person watch her back just in case.

A square deal right? Emily gave Ryuu's neck a playful nibble for a moment and chuckled. "I need your help more than ever, Ryuu." she said, "You more than anyone."

Yup, it was true. She needed him, and that need was very strong. Emily was slightly afraid that she would grow too dependent on Ryuu one day, and part of her slightly wanted to give both herself and himself some space at times for that very reason. Emily didn't want to bother with that thought right now though, she was too comfortable being in his arms like this.

"I won't let anyone take you away from me... No one..."

Emily would reach for Ryuu's hands, holding them gently and comfortingly. "I won't let them." She said, chuckling to lift the mood. "You know I'm more than able to right?"

Yup, Emily was indeed quite able - in a sense that she was also, admittedly, more able than Ryuu himself. "But," her tone became a bit more sober as another thought entered her mind, "We have to choose who we tell about our relationship to. Chances are they'll use our feelings for one another against either of us." She held his hand tighter, and her face dropped slightly. "... I don't want you to get hurt."

Ryuu returned Emily's smile as he felt her lean against him, her head nuzzling against his shoulder, as he shifted his arm, pulling her even more closer to him. Because Ryuu had to fight in Paladin War at St. Paragon's, he was forced to take on a bigger leadership role, far greater than being the leader of the Enforcement Squad. As such, he was able to take command and make decisions in a split second, especially when that decision meant life or death. Although this wouldn't be as extreme as the war, the risks were still there. And Ryuu wouldn't let anything happen to Emily. He felt her nibble playfully at his neck for a moment, before chuckling. "I'll always be there to help you, no matter what," Ryuu replied, as underneath the water, his free hand clenched up into a fist, "Always, no matter what." He would always lend his help to Emily, no matter how small it was, he would help her. Underneath his sarcastic and cynical attitude, Ryuu was carefree and lighthearted, but not many people have ever seen that part of him.

Ryuu felt Emily hold his hands gently and comfortingly as she chuckled, he laughed quietly, as his fist relaxed in her hand. "Yeah, you are. You could probably kick my ass before I could even blink." That's how aware Ryuu was of how powerful Emily was. He had seen her fight before, and had observed, based on what he was able to see, just how capable she was, much more than Ryuu was. But Ryuu was getting stronger each day. He was definitely not stronger than Emily, but he could hold his own with others. Ryuu shifted his gaze back to Emily as her tone of voice became somber. He felt her hold his hand tighter, as he saw her face drop slightly. "I could never forgive myself, it you became injured because of me." Ryuu said softly, as he freed his right hand, and held it against his chest, right where his heart was. "The thought of anything happening to you, it's like a sword was sent stabbing through my heart." He then moved his right arm, and gently took hold of Emily's chin, and lifted her head up gently, as he stared into her eyes. "As long as I'm around, I won't let anyone hurt you. I will protect you, in my own way."

Emily was content. This was the kind of life she wanted for herself. No fear of death, or need for an overzealous concern for work. Emily loved being in Ryuu's arms like this, and her body wanted to melt in his warmth.

"Yeah, you are. You could probably kick my ass before I could even blink." Emily just gave a small chuckle in response. It was undeniable that Emily was one of the strongest fighters in 42 at the moment, but for one - she's been stagnant and complacent about her own status for too long. Who knew what monster got ahead?

"I could never forgive myself, it you became injured because of me. The thought of anything happening to you, it's like a sword was sent stabbing through my heart. As long as I'm around, I won't let anyone hurt you. I will protect you, in my own way."

Emily blushed and shrugged it off for a moment. She was, in her own little way, endeared by Ryuu wanting to protect her. But the last thing she wanted was the danger of her losing him to anyone. "I'll be fine, more or less." She said, pulling herself away from the Japanese boy and going on her knees, now facing him as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "Nothing with happen to me. Nothing will happen to you. Mm?" She assured him, pulling him into a deep and passionate kiss.

Boy, they were really into it.

Ryuu chuckled softly as he saw Emily blush and shrug his comment off casually. Emily was extremely important to him, and the last thing that anybody wants or was afraid of, was the danger of losing the person they loved to someone else. Ryuu was no exception. "I know you will." He replied, as he felt her pull away from him and want on her knees, now facing him, as he felt her wrap her arms around his neck. He blushed slightly from the view he had of Emily's, ahem, chest, but regardless, he smiled back at her. "Mmm... I know the both of us will be just fine. As long as I have you, I'll always be fine." He said, reassuring her back, as he wrapped his arms around Emily, before she pulled him into a deep and passionate kiss. His hands resting lightly against the bare skin of her back, he leaned forward, no longer resting against the bathtub, deepening the kiss even more.

Oh yeah, they were REALLY into it alright. As they continued to kiss, Ryuu's warm hands holding Emily close to him, he parted his lips and had his tongue make its way to Emily's mouth. You could definitely feel the intense heat between the both of them. A few minutes later, Ryuu pulled away from the kiss, as he shifted his arms and wrapped them around Emily's neck, resting his forehead against hers, underneath the fluorescent lighting, Emily would able to see the faint scars that covered Ryuu's arms, leg, and on his cheek and forehead. He had, if not close to, the same amount of scars Emily had. Ryuu had to watch his classmates die in the Paladin War, he himself was thought to have perished in the war too, when he in fact, had not. But nothing else, especially the war, concerned Ryuu right now, the only thing that mattered to him, was Emily. Only her. "I'll always be there..."

"Mmm..." Emily was crazy about him. Almost as if "Unfettered" barely existed in Emily's heart right now, Emily was melting into the kiss going deeper onto it. Emily groaned in disappointment when Ryuu pulled away, but it allowed her to breathe again (which she didn't mind, of course).

"I'll always be there..."

"As will I." She said, as her hands pulled down to begin to inspecting his scars. She recognized a few, one of which was of that thing with Gabriel; but other than that, there were a few more that she never saw before. Or at least, some that she never bothered to notice.

She wanted to ask, but Emily remembered that she wasn't even able to answer his question from the night before. Emily then kissed Ryuu's forehead and gave him a soft smile, "Ryuu, I think I owe you a story. About... the Correctional Facility." She said, "I was kidnapped along with a guy named Mathew Amtrum. We were kept in one cell, and after a while they had us fight a hundred thugs at a time. I... was a weakling back then." She looked down, blushing at something she saw, giggling to herself for a bit before continuing. "Mathew and I were then brought to some chamber, where they performed experiments on us. They had a drug called Brimstone... something.. injected onto us... and while it made the both of us significantly stronger; it also turned my hair white - a side effect of it, I think."

Her smile died off, as she sat on Ryuu's lap, figuring she was far more comfortable closer to him than otherwise, just so she could continue. "Mathew then asked Sean Barker to let me go; which he didn't, really. I was taken to another part of the building to solitary confinement, and I was forced to fight more, and be experimented on still. I remember just lying there wanting to know if it's night or day... how long it has been since I last saw everything outside..."

Emily's face sunk a bit, her face now hidden by her wet hair. "... I had to fight around fifty more thugs, and that's where I got my left arm from..."

She sighed.

Did she even want to say all of that? That place was a nightmare.

Could you imagine literally being in the dark, alone with the only times of you being in the light would be when you were forced to fight to keep yourself alive?

Ryuu heard Emily groan in disappointment as he pulled away from the kiss, but it wasn't because he wanted to end the kiss, it was because, well, he had to breathe, and in the process, letting Emily breathe as well. His head followed, moving downwards as he saw her hands drop down and begin to inspect the scars that covered his body, he knew she would recognize one, the one on his chest that Reven had inflicted on him, but the others, she wouldn't know about, since he had acquired them from the Paladin War at St. Paragon's. He then lifted his head up as he felt her kiss his forehead, as he returned the soft smile she gave him with one of his own. He stayed silent for the most part during Emily's explanation of the Correctional Facility, a somber look occupying his face. Though when he saw her look down and blush, he realized what it was she had seen that made her blush, as he blushed furiously, yet he still did not say a word. As she continued, he saw her smile die off before she sat on his lap, as he wrapped his arms around her, pulling her closer to him, letting her rest her head against him.

He saw her face sink a bit, now hidden by her wet hair. Once she was finished, he heard her sigh, as he looked at her, his eyes saddened by the psychological torture she had to endure in that place. "Emily..." Ryuu said softly, as he looked down at her, smiling sadly. It was like a sword was sent jabbing straight into his heart just thinking of how much pain and suffering she had to go through, so much so, he moved his left hand and held it against his chest, right where his heart was, to ease the pain he felt. But now that he knew about what she had gone through, he felt comfortable enough to tell her about what had happened to him, and how he acquired the scars she had been inspecting beforehand. "... Thank you... for telling me Emily... Since you told me about the Correctional Facility, I suppose it's only fair I tell you about what happened to me, how I got these scars... one year ago." Ryuu paused for second, before beginning.

"You know before I came to Public High School #42, I used to go to a high school in Tokyo, Japan, but I never told you what high school it was. I originally went to St. Paragon's Secondary School... the school my father, Kane Hikari, built. On the outside, it appeared to be a normal high school, but in actuality, it was a facility built under the guise of a prison to house students who committed crimes. Besides being criminals, the one other thing all the students had in common was, we all had Qi. A few months passed, and everything was fine for the most part. I made friends there, including... Reira and Matrim. That is... until the Paladins came. They were an organization, that absolutely abhorred those who had a Qi, for under the mind controlling power of their leader's Qi, believed that only God should have these kinds of power." Ryuu lifted his left hand up, and pointing his index finger up, made a flame the size of a lighter flame appear on the tip of his finger, before putting it out a couple seconds later, as he looked down, and just like Emily had done before, blushed furiously as he saw some things, before continuing.

"They waged war on St. Paragon's, attacking it... and even killed some of my classmates, and some of the teachers. I had to watch my classmates die, just because we had these powers, even though it wasn't like we wanted these powers in the first place. They... destroyed and left the school in ruins... I was forced to fight in the war, learn how to use a firearm, in order to protect my friends, so that no one else I knew and cared about, would be killed by the Paladins. I went searching for one of my friends, Sephora, and encountered some soldiers that I took out with my Qi, but one managed to evade and fired a bullet that grazed my right arm, before I took him out too. After I found Sephora, it was when I was making my way across the school grounds to the AI Core room alone, after fighting against a soldier that fired a bullet that grazed my left arm, that I encountered three soldiers. I managed to kill two of them, and had burned the face of the third one, but in his panic, he began to fire bullets wildly.

Ryuu's face became even more somber, as his eyes were hidden by his front hair. "Some of the bullets managed to graze my forehead and cheek, and one managed to hit the front of my leg, breaking the bone from the impact of the bullet... And that's how I received my scars..."

It seems as if Emily wasn't the only one with a sad school life the past year, was she? Ryuu had gone through his own time of torture and despair, albeit something Emily would see to be somewhat painful - but nowadays, all the fighting has numbed Emily's sense of fear of it.

That thing with the enforcers...

That thing with Sean Barker and the Correctional Facility...

... Militia.

All of them, and several others - all part of the rabid, uncontrollable system that was corporal punishment. Sometimes, one could wonder if it was appropriate to even call the system that, as the military, NGOs and even the students played a role to keep this dreaded system alive. It was like a curse, and a blessing – and one could wonder how so many teenagers could stay sane living through what they do every single day of their life. Emily could see why Gabriel would go through such ploys to employ a new one - but his methods made him no better than Sean Barker himself; just another man who thought they could play god.

Emily would look at Ryuu's eyes, smiling as her hand caressed that skin above his beating heart, her warmth almost resonating with each beat. She would lay her head by Ryuu’s shoulder, wanting nothing more than to stay close to him like this until the sun rose and even more. He was, right now, the person she held dear above all else.

They shared the pain of death; of suffering and loss.

Though of different magnitudes, they knew sorrow and grief. They’ve seen the darkest moments of mankind, and yet – they were still there, holding onto what they believed was right.

“We’re… all but tools in this system, aren’t we?” She said, staring at the door that was basically locked from the inside. “You… myself… everyone. It’s as if we’re nothing more than their playthings… for having Qi; for having abilities that not many people had…”

Emily’s hand would emerge out of the water, and she would caress Ryuu’s face. “I’m not so sure I want the system to change, and yet – I feel as if it has to.” She said, finally admitting her stance on everything. Well, that serious moment didn’t last very long though, as she began to chuckle before giving Ryuu a small peck on the cheek. There was no point in being emo right now, was there? “Heh… though, I believe – change will come when the time is right, and when things are put in at the right place at the right time.”

The white-haired girl would strain herself to stand up from the tub and she would let herself walk around the bathroom without an inch of covering as she opened a small drawer that had towels on it and started to dry out her hair, not minding if Ryuu’s gotten a view. What’s the point anyways? He’d already seen EVERYTHING. “Should we go to school today?” She said, “… or would you rather rest and train with me?”

Emily was right onto business, mm? She’s a strange one, actually. There was this dislike of fighting, but she was eager to fight as well. Quite hypocritical, but when you’ve done nothing but fight to survive for a while, sometimes the significance of the chance of injury and embarrassment kinda dies off, doesn’t it?

Ryuu lifted his head up as he looked back into Emily's eyes, returning her smile, as he felt her caress the skin above his beating heart, he could feel her warmth resonate almost in sync with each beat, before she laid her head against his shoulder. There was nothing more Ryuu wanted now than to stay with Emily like this, the two of them close to each other, for as long as possible. She had always had a place in his heart, now that place was cemented and fortified even more than before. "Perhaps... But there are also those who wish to use us simply to gain something for themselves." Ryuu replied, as his eyes shifted sideways, looking over at what Emily was staring at, which was the door that was locked from the inside. "There are those who do not like us, simply because of our abilities. After all, we aren't exactly normal, to an extent. People fear that which they do not understand, and most do not try to attempt to understand even a little, they are content to be ignorant of what is different that surrounds them."

Sadly, that was the truth of the matter of the world they lived in right now. Ryuu didn't like to make it known that he had a Qi, he rather blend in with the crowd and stay undetected. He saw Emily lift her hand out of the water, and felt her caress his face, as he closed his eyes at her touch. "Change is an inevitable part of this world, and though people don't like it, it will happen regardless." Ryuu replied, as he slowly opened his eyes, and smiled as he heard Emily chuckle before giving him a peck on the cheek. So much for the serious moment alright. "For change to happen, I believe you should get it by your own hands, you can't expect to wait for and let others do it for you." Ryuu watched as Emily strained to stand up in the tub and climb out, as she walked around the bathroom without any covering whatsoever, before opening a drawer and pulled out a towel, drying her hair. Ryuu blushed slightly at this, though he followed suit and hoisted himself up, as he stood in the tub, before climbing out, with his back facing Emily, drained the water from the tub.

He then walked over to Emily, and pulled out a towel, as he dried his hair slightly, his arms stretched above his head slightly, not really minding that he was giving Emily a view too. After all, the two of them had seen EVERYTHING from each other, there wasn't much else to show. He then wrapped the towel around his waist, standing behind Emily, before wrapping his arms around her, his hair falling into his eyes. "... I'd take spending the entire day with you over school any day..." He said softly as he leaned in close to Emily, speaking softly near her ear, before giving her a kiss on the check, and straightened up, still holding her in his arms.

All throughout Emily's life, all she has been was to be a tool; her first family used her to gain social status, and basically when she didn't make the cut they began treating her like trash; the Aoyamas used her and Rem to fill a gap they were unable to fulfill; The syndicate used her to gain money...

... with that history, sometimes Emily couldn't help but sometimes be wary of things like gangs, and even her fellow classmates - but it was not good to judge people. It was just one of Emily's darker side; one she refused to disclose to anyone - even Ryuu. Maybe in time, she would have the courage to show him more of her real self; but now wasn't the time.

Emily was beginning to wrap her towel around her when she saw Ryuu get up from the tub. She blushed and fought against looking away; well, not like she had anything else to hide - nor did he.

Then after a bit of staring; watching him as he basically dried himself off as well, Emily would be slightly surprised as Ryuu came close and wrapped his arms around her. "... I'd take spending the entire day with you over school any day..."

Emily smiled and nodded, "Alright then. We'll just have to find some excuse so we won't get rapped at tomorrow." She said, turning around to face Ryuu while still being held close. "Mmm, what do you want for breakfast, ...dear? "

Ryuu blushed even more as he saw Emily look at him as she began to wrap her towel around herself when he climbed out of the tub, as he rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment as he fought to look away like Emily was, instead. Once he had drained the tub, he turned around, and walked over as he grabbed a towel from the drawer and blushed slightly as he noticed Emily was staring at and watching him as he began to dry himself off. He then wrapped the towel around his waist, as he saw she was taken slightly by surprise when he wrapped his arms around her, not only taking in her warmth, but since his face close to her shoulder, he could smell the scent of the fragrance oils she had used in her hair. He returned her smile as he saw her nod, before closing his eyes, not wanting to let go of her, as his front hair fell naturally into his eyes. "... Let's worry about that later, 'kay? I'll think of something for the both of us." He replied, as he slowly opened his eyes and saw her turn around to face him as he continued to hold her in his arms.

"... Pancakes." Ryuu replied, after pausing for a couple seconds to think, as he rubbed the back of his head with his left arm. "I've never had them, so I want to try them." He tilted his head to one side like a puppy dog, as he stared at Emily curiously, before smiling at her, and took her hand into his left hand, the ring from the mock wedding clearly visible on his ring finger, as he led the way out of the bathroom, back into Emily's bedroom. He then released her hand, as he grabbed his shorts and shirt, and slipped both of them on, before pulling his towel away. He then waited for Emily, before taking her hand once more and walked out of her bedroom as he headed downstairs, rays of sunlight starting to pour through the windows. It was going to be a nice day, and Ryuu wouldn't want to enjoy it with anyone else, except Emily. "... We should go somewhere and spend the day together, just the two of us..."

Grr... I lost my post. My computer's power supply died out, but thankfully we had a spare lying around.

"... Pancakes." Pancakes? Why pancakes? Emily thought. "I've never had them, so I want to try them."

Emily blinked once, then twice. He never had pancakes before? That was actually a bit of a surprise for the Filipina. For one, Pancakes were one of the more common western breakfasts. If anything, they were easy to make, and only require a bit of timing, knowledge on controlling the heat, how much oil is to be used, and basically awareness of how to see if a pancake is done. Quite simple, as compared to other dishes.

Emily was well aware of her cooking ability, and it's one of the few things she prided herself on - her ability to cook. Well, no one could blame her. After all, she's more or less self-critical about these sort of things. It was her dream after all, but then again - she wasn't very aware of what that dream was. She'd realize that in time, anyways.

Emily gave Ryuu a warm smile as she was led out of the bathroom and into the room, "How does banana pancakes sound?" Something healthy, and filling for breakfast with lots of potassium, fructose and carbohydrates. Yup, she would make his first pancake the best one he'd ever have. Her smile grew softer as she caught a glimpse of his hand, noticing that he too was wearing that ring they got on their mock wedding. Emily wore her ring as well.

Taking some new clothes and underwear, she began to dress up. Unfazed by the idea that Ryuu was in the very same room. Why bother, right? Ryuu would wait a bit before she finished, as Emily was quite meticulous with herself even during the morning. Her hair was kept in a loose french braid; and her dress a soft shade of apple green. Ryuu took her hand again by then and headed downstairs.

"... We should go somewhere and spend the day together, just the two of us..."

Emily giggled to herself as she headed for the kitchen, grabbing some flour, eggs, and other sorts of ingredients from her cupboards. You'd think she'd have a premade mix ready, but you see - Emily liked to make things from scratch. She thought it was much healthier that way. Not like it was going to take any longer than if she used those pancake mixes you'd buy at the store.
