[Linda Osako]

This school was definitely different...

Linda looked around at the caliber of the students around her as she walked threw the halls. Her eyes wondered from student to student, looking at each, trying to see if she knew any of them... Much to her surprise, she knew nobody!

Before she had left for school this morning she had noticed that Mathew was already up and about and out of the house. Linda was totally lost on this campus with out Mathew. She remembered him saying something about investing time in the school so that she would know her surroundings, but Linda was too busy watching T.V. to listen.

Goddammit! I should have listened to him again....

Linda walked over to a bench that was along the wall, and plopped herself down. Looking up she noticed the building had a name, but before she could make it out somebody took a seat next to her.

[Travis]

Travis too was getting use to this new school setting. He had been at 259 for such a long time, that it was strange to come to a new school setting like this. He felt odd, knowing that there wasn't going to be too many people he knew here. But thinking back on that, it might have been a really good thing.

After all, less people to cause trouble with him. But he had been slightly surprised when his icy blue eyes caught sight of someone he DID actually know. Well, didn't know too well.. But he had at least seen her once before. If he remembered correctly, it was at the hospital when Travis had approached The Earth Dragon.

Travis casually took a seat next to the girl, hoping it wouldn't cause any problems. After all, they both had a mutual acquaintance. And he was in a good mood, he wasn't looking to start a fight as soon as he arrived here. It wouldn't be too long before Travis would speak to her, he wasn't sure if he could introduce himself again, after all he had done it once before. If she didn't remember him, then he'd do the introductions again.

"Hey.. Didn't really expect to see you here.."

"Hey.. Didn't really expect to see you here.."

A wide smile appeared on Linda's face. Someone she knew was sitting next to her, about damn time! Linda looked over to see just who it was sitting next to her. Oh what was this guy's name? Linda had met him before... but where... oh yeah! The hospital! That's where she knew him from!

"Yeah same. How've you been?" Linda asked the guy with a smile.

She was trying to remember his name... She had only met him once before and was oh so struggling with his name.... but she didn't want to make it obvious that she didn't know it...

Maybe small talk will help me remember.

[Travis]

The girl smiled, and that was a good sign. Travis would give his own little smile, and then glance about for a moment. He was pretty good with names himself, as long as he had a face to put the name to, he'd remember it. He knew her first name was Linda, and he guessed it really didn't matter if he knew her last name or not. He wouldn't really have too much time to ponder it either, because she'd speak shortly after he did.

Yeah same. How've you been?

"I've been alright. Just getting situated after the move.."

At least the move to this place hadn't been too bad. The apartment that he and Sara originally lived in had been destroyed in the earthquake that seemed to cause a lot of problems for a wide variety of people. Travis and Sara had done lots of unpacking and re-arranging, but things were going good so far. And maybe now that they moved schools, Travis would be able to consent rate a little more on his relationship, and not have to worry about the dangers of a place that wasn't suppose to be dangerous at all. Tough chance.

"What about you?"

"What about you?"

Linda tapped her chin, thinking... Analyzing exactly where she was in her life...

"Hmmm... I would say I'm doing alright. I didn't have too much of a problem with the move cause I just paid movers." She smiled as she looked at Travis. She hoped she didn't sound snobby with what she had just said, and so she quickly looked to correct herself.

"Not to say that it wasn't hard to move again, I just... I dunno. I guess I was kinda already over that 259 place."

Linda looked at the ground and began to kick her feet a little on the bench, like a little girl.

[Travis]

Hmmm... I would say I'm doing alright. I didn't have too much of a problem with the move cause I just paid movers.

Travis would nod. He had thought about paying movers, but it wasn't really his style. He didn't think it was necessary to pay someone for something that he wouldn't have any problem doing his self. He could move furniture and other stuff no problem, and he had left a good amount of packing to his girlfriend. The only thing he paid for was the moving truck.

Not to say that it wasn't hard to move again, I just... I dunno. I guess I was kinda already over that 259 place.

"Ahh, yeah. I can't say I miss it at all.."

Travis hadn't really ever been fond of school in the first place. He went because he knew it would help him in his future. He wanted to go to college after he finished high-school as well. But it all depended on what happened down the road. #259 had just been another stop on a long pathway. The only sentimental value it held to him was the fact that it was where he had met Sara. Travis would decide to say some more words, he still had no idea that Linda was part of the same group he was in.

Oh what's that? Yep, there is that smile again.

"I sure do..." Linda spoke with a smile. Sure shew as devious, but she actually wanted to improve this school. Hell after attending 552 every place there after seemed like a step up. Well it would be good to keep things going smoothly...

"So what about you Travis? Any plans for this place?"

Linda wasn't gonna share hers without hearing what Travis was planning. Nope, not gonna happen ^_^.
