Fei Long was continually impressed by his opponent. Not only was he much stronger than he initially gave credit for, but Adrian was apparently much smarter too. Low kicks were hard to defend in close proximities, even for those who were experienced with such attacks. The fact a boxer was prepared for that meant he was either that experienced or just that skilled, not to sa he couldn't be both. Fei Long was impressed.
But he wasn't outmatched.
Following his earlier example of continuing his momentum, Fei Long's foot continued to swing out low after missing it's initial target. Having his other attack, the palm strike, just absorbed as well, Fei Long didn't plan on staying in place for too long. His right foot setting off past his left, Fei Long went with Adrian's push, doubling his momentum as he pivoted on his right foot counterclockwise, spinning his back into the boxer.
As he'd spin, his right hand would literally snake over Adrian's right elbow, placing his shoulder in the larger man's armpit as he momentarily trapped his arm snugly with his bicep. Slamming his back into Adrian's chest, Fei Long literally placed himself within his guard, throwing his head back in a strike to the boxer's nose, who's own attack would place him in the line of fire of the headbutt.
Staying close to Adrian's body would cause his hook to overshoot just slightly, striking Fei Long's kidney with his forearm rather than his fist. Planning on keeping momentary tabs on the arm, Fei Long's left hand went to grab the wrist before it snapped back, pulling it straight to hold it in place for just a moment. At that same time, Fei Long would follow up the headbutt by simply sliding his right arm under and over the outside of Adrian's own right wrist, turning it towards him to look at his watch as if it were his own hand before bursting forward and turning back around to face the boxer just out of range as he smirked.
"Hmm. Two minutes, twenty seconds in. Guess you're not too bad."

The boy was quick, for sure, quick and graceful, as he spun into Adrian's guard, completely taking him by surprise. His head shot backwards, looking to headbutt Adrian, who instinctively lowered his head, taking the shot on the crowd instead of the nose. He neither knew nor cared if the difference in targets would do anything to the other boy at the time, he was simply thanking his training regiment and sport of choice for making him tough enough to take a few licks on the head and still keep going.
The Chinese boy lifted Adrian's right arm, as the bigger boxer was still a bit surprised by the move, to check the time on his watch before breaking out and turning aroudn to taunt him once more.
Kid's certainly got a mouth on him.
"If you just wanted a hug, you should have just said so," Adrian would quip back, "Now get over here, I've only got forty seconds left to get my extra hundred and you're wasting my time."
Adrian took that one big step to get himself back into range and put up his dukes again, shooting out another right jab, hoping maybe to catch the Chinese kid off guard.

Skull met skull, making for a much harder impact than what was preferred, but nothing that Fei Long didn't expect as a risk of his show boating. Both men would feel the hit now, though both landed on thick parts of the skull, doing little to no damage to either at the moment. It was still enough of a distraction to finish his taunting, however, and that made it all so worth it.
"Hey! I'm the smack talker here." Fei Long probed the center of his chest with his thumb, seemingly without guard as Adrian entered for another attempt at the offensive.
Having his style focus very much on fluidity and grace, Fei Long had little trouble bringing his left arm up from its relaxed position at his side to absorb the punch with his palm once again. However, unlike last time, Fei Long would attempt to grab ahold of Adrian's fist before it was snapped back. Whether it was succesful or not, hopefully it would prove to be a simple enough distraction as his left leg snapped out in another low kick. This time, a front snap kick, the ball off his foot aiming to strike the boxer square in the front of his shin.

Adrian's punch was blocked, but this time, the boy tried to go for a grab as well. Adrian had already been in a few battles where people had tried this, including this one he was in right now. As such, as the fingers attempted to close around it, Adrian quickly twisted his hand over before pulling it back, ensuring Fei Long's inability to get a firm grip on the hand.
However, in a surprise move, Adrian would punch yet again with his same right hand, hoping the repetition would allow for a slip in his defenses. Unfortunately for Adrian, his lust for offense caused him to completely miss a front kick to his shin, which he took with no short amount of teeth-gritting pain.
As a result, whether his attack succeeded or failed, Adrian would step back a bit to nurse the leg, hoping another pause would help him to get the feeling back in it.

Never really expecting to get ahold of the fist in the first place, since it was a jab, Fei Long didn't over extend himself in trying to grab it as it slipped away. Still, in hindsight it wasn't the smartest thing to do to begin with. He still had reached for it, putting himself at a disadvantage for what should have been an obvious follow up by Adrian.
While not fully prepared, Fei Long's fist was at least in the right area. As his kick landed, Fei Long was at least able to push the forearm down, takin the jab to his right pectoral rather than the face. It hit with a smack, but thankfully a jab wasn't the most devastating attack. Adrian began to retreat from the recent exchange, and Fei Long intended to capitalize upon it.
Not taking long for his low snap kick to land back down on the ground, Fei Long pushed off the ball of his foot as he propelled himself forward, bringing up his right knee before his left foot would shoot out in a jumping front snap kick aimmed for the solar plexus of Adrian. His foot would be able to reach before Adrian's fists, and with him pushing into Adrian's retreat, he hoped to break through and land on its mark.
Fei Long wanted his 300.

Unfortunately, he wouldn't get it.
The attack was fast, and surprising, and gave Adrian little time to react, but the man was a boxer at heart, and the sport was full of sudden explosive movements that one had to be ready for at any and all times. Adrian's backwards motion would, in fact, be the only thing that would saved him, giving him just enough separation to react to eh incoming pump kick.
His right hand was still coming back from the punch and was, therefore, not particularly suited for any defense or counter-offense. His left hand, however, was primed and ready for action. As the kick came in, Adrian swung his left fist in a tight hooking punch, his fist colliding in with the inside of Fei Long's ankle, which would connect with a decent amount of pain. Fei Long's personal insistance on blowing through Adrian's guard and finishing the fight would mean the boy likely wouldn't be able to react quickly enough to retract the leg, and even if he did, it wouldn't do much to stop Adrian's followup.
Adrian would torque his body to right as he punched, mostly to add power to the punch, but it would also serve two more purposes as well. The first and most obvious would be defense. With his body now sideways, the deflected kicking leg of Fei Long would definitely not connect with any part of his body, and instead pass harmless past his stomach and chest. The boy, however, would likely still be moving forward, his right foot just beginning to touch down from the pump kick. It was at this point that Adrian would strike, and quite possibly earn HIS 300 instead.
His body, turned to his right, would crank back around as quickly as the admittedly slower boy could muster, his left hand swinging back into a hard backfist aimed towards the boy's head. The speed and obvious intent to strike would make it difficult to discern this move as actually being a feint, especially considering how Adrian would be using the feint. The attack was, for all intents and purposes, truly an attack, but it was aimed just shy of the boy's face. What Adrian intended to do, in fact, was use the backfist to bring up Fei Long's guard, which he would use his strength to break past, slaming the back of his hand into one or both of the Chinese boy's arms, opening up for the second, actual blow: An equally hard right hook aimed for the boy's chin.
Adrian couldn't be too sure of the boy's stamina and endurance, and couldn't be for certain that it would be a knockout blow, but, at the very least, if it connected it would be the perfect setup for a finishing combination.

Fei Long had Adrian on the retreat, and it was time to push that advantage. Now was the time to strike and Fei Long could almost feel that extra weight in his wallet. Adrian would prove to be even more dangerous yet than the already given credit Fei Long had added into his own personal diagnostics on the boxer.
The hook punch came in, a good offense becoming an impentetrable defense as Fei Long felt a heavy burning sensation in his ankle. Visibly wincing in pain, Fel Long would still land on his right foot, keeping over ninety percent of his weight distribution on it due to the immense pain in his left ankle. His landing, though awkward, would still have impressive grace whereas most would have fallen on their ass.
Despite being faster, Fei Long was distracted by the likely sprained ankle. Had Fei Long's hands not already been up, it quite possibly could have ended the fight. Seeing the backfist coming out the corner of his eye, Fei Long turned his upperbody to the left, turning into the backfist. Having both arms up, Fei Long would connect both his forearms against Adrian's forearm, blocking what he thought was an actual strike, and not just a feint.
Adrian's feint was too good it seemed at getting Fei Long's attention. With all of the stronger student's body weight turning towards him, Fei Long wouldn't be able to stop the momentum being thrown into him. Had Fei Long been standing naturally, the follow up shot would certainly have broken through the guard. However, by placing all his weight on his right foot, there wasn't a strong enough foundation to absorb the shot. As such, when Fei Long blocked the backfist, his body was thrown to the right.
The hook punch would hit nothing but air, Adrian having literally shoved Fei Long to the side. Having built up momentum had almost been the chinese fighter's specialty as of late it seemed, and now would prove to be no different. As his body was pushed to the side, Fei Long would drop his right hand down into the ground, planting it firmly. In what would look like the beginning of a cartwheel, Fei Long would instead suddenly pull in his legs, shooting his right leg back out instantly in a stomp. As Adrian's body would be turning back to the left, Fei Long's handplant kick would move above Adrian's right forearm, the heel of his foot in direct line with the exposed face.
It would be hard for Adrian to avoid or block the move having just thrown his body one way, but hit or miss Fei Long's movement, though graceful on its way out, would be awkward on its return. As his right leg would return back to chamber, Fei Long would turn his upper body to the right, placing both hands on the ground momentarily as his head turned over his right shoulder spinning behind him, the same leg attempting a follow up sweep on the outside of Adrian's right knee, once again with the heel.

The sense of touch often allows one to react much faster than the sense of sight or sound, because there is less translation needed for the body to realize something has moved than there is for the body to see that it has moved. Many boxers, therefore, have taught themselves to react on touch as well as sight and sound. Thus, when Fei Long fell back from Adrian's backfist, Adrian could feel him falling against his forearm and quickly abandoned the upcoming hook punch, after all.
However, there was still the matter of dealing with any upcoming counters, of which Adrian could not count the Chinese boy out, considering his acrobatic antics of earlier. Of course, Adrian was right, and the boy's hand planted onto the ground in order to stabilize and perhaps turn a cartwheel. Adrian didn't plan on giving him that chance.
Adrian extended his left foot somewhat, then quickly pivoted counterclockwise on his right foot, his left leg coming around and attempting to sweep Fei Long's hand from its perch on the ground. If this were to work, the incoming kick would be knocked off-course, and even if it didn't, the pivot would put Adrian's head out of range anyway.
If the boy was tripped, Adrian would follow into his pivot with a hard right uppercut punch into the inverted boy's stomach as he was falling, adding injury to insult.
"Could you just accept defeat, now, and hand over my money?"

Fei Long prided himself on the speed of a leopard, the fluidity of the snake, and the balance of the crane. This wasn't restricted to being on his feet, either.
Reacting quickly enough, Adrian was able lead himself into a sweep, that would force Fei Long to fall straight on his head, resulting in an overall bad day. Fortunately, Fei Long's eyesight was in direct line of Adrian's feet, so while such low attacks would go unnoticed in most cases, the exact opposite would occur when fighting upsideown.
Just moments before impact, Fei long would push off his right hand in a similiar motion to that of a handstand pushup. Unlike the pushup however, Fei Long would lift his hand off the ground, no longer placing his balance on the limb as Adrian's shin would connect against his forearm. The limb would shoot outwards slightly, though Fei Long's body would remain in its place in the air for the short moment.
Before landing on his head, Fei Long would turn his upperbody to the right, planting his left hand into the ground. Now, Fei Long would be in a full one-handed handstand, his back facing away from the boxer. Continuing his momentum to keep it from coming to stop, Fei Long would pivot on his planted left hand, the palm tearing the grass from the ground. Turning to the right, his right side would be facing Adrian as he would come out of his own spin, only to come face to foot as Fei Long would sent out a sidekick from his position, once again aimming his heel for the face, though this time in a much more stable foundation.

Adrian's sweep had worked, but only to a slight degree. Fei Long proved his acrobatic abilities by hopping from one hand to the next, and in doing so, had found his balance. He swung to the side, fighting Adrian on one hand, and kicked out at his head. Both of the boxer's hands went up to his head, blocking as best he could the incoming kick. He pressed his right hand to his head, and his left hand crossed against his right, and when the kick landed against his left hand, it had to travel through two arms to reach his head.
Which wasn't to say it didn't hurt. Oh, it hurt.
Adrian stumbled back a step from the sheer force of the kick, leaving himself unavoidably open for a moment as he lowered his hands. To combat this, Adrian dropped to rest on his right knee, and now that he was under the reach of Fei Long's legs, would send a quick one-two jab, first the right and then the left, into Fei Long's midsection. The second jab would be noticably stronger than the first, as it was intended not only on hurting the boy, would pushing him over so it was more difficult to counter or reply in kind to the boxer's attacks.
If successful, Adrian would press the offensive, moving forward as he boy fell to stay on top of him, so to speak.

Adrian may not have been able to avoid the kick, but he was sure able to block it. Regardless, Fei Long felt the strong connection, pushing the larger fighter back a step. The follow through with the kick would force him to fully face Adrian once more, squaring off with him though in the unorthodox way of being upsideown and on one hand.
Peek-a-boo!
Fei Long's eyes would noticeably widen as Adrian dropped down on one knee. Having still managed to balance on one hand thanks to his constant motion, Fei Long's right hand would push accross his chest, deflecting the first jab to the outside. At the same time, Fei Long would pull down hard on his left leg. Still injured at the ankle, Fei Long would strike with another part of his leg--the knee. Pulling it straight down, Fei Long's knee would slam down into the top left side of Adrian's head, clipping it on its way down.
Unfortunately, at the same time Fei Long would get punched cleanly in the stomach, unable to block everything with only one hand. The force would cause Fei Long to fall away from Adrian on his back, where he would attempt to instantly fall into a forward roll to continue his momentum, and land facing Adrian once more, still keeping full balance on his right leg.
"Well... ready to give that 200 now?" Fei Long was noticeably wearing down at this point, his chest heaving as he puffed out more smack talk.

Once again, the two would strike each other. Once again, it would be Fei Long who's attack seemed to trump the boxer's. As Adrian's heavy punch struck the boy's stomach, the Chinese boy's knee would impact rather heavily upon Adrian's head. Thus, when Fei Long rolled away, Adrian was too busy shaking his head, holding it with one hand and wiping away the tears that formed as a result of the sudden head trauma with the other, quickly, before Fei Long could see and have more ammo to use in his smack-talking.
Adrian would rise to his feet again, the blow to his head taking a toll on his stamina. Although, he could see his opponent's breathing signaled much the same. Even so, he taunted him.
"Tough question, coming from the amazing one-legged acrobat," Adrian said as he nodded in the direction of the boy's left leg. That was one down, he just need to take out the next. He'd have to work on that.
Adrian would lunge forward, foregoing all usual calculating movements in favor of hoping to catch the hopefully slightly less mobile Chinaman off guard. Regardless of its suddenness, it was still a controlled charge. Adrian, however, would not make a move as of yet. He'd simply lunge forward, running towards Fei Long, causing the boy to have to react if he didn't want him to plow him straight over.

"Keyword there: Amazing."
Despite having what he figured to be the better of the exchange, Fei Long was still at a significant disadvantage. A speedy fighter wasn't as useful if he didn't have his mobility. Fei Long knew this, but could never bring himself to give up.
As Adrian would charge forward, Fei Long would readjust his balance slightly, reaffirming his one-legged stance to the best of his ability. Other than that, Fei Long made no motions to suggest an evasion was in the works. After all, there was no point in trying to turn away when you were just going to get bolted over one way or another. Might as well choose when and where it happens. Keeping his hands up, Fei Long had prepared to block any incoming punches, his first instinct telling him that this was a charging punch of some sorts.
Once in range, however, Fei Long would snap his left hand out in a snake hand formation. The quickest of all his strikes, Fei Long planned on thrusting his fingers direcly into the throat of Adrian, the aerodynamic hand shape making it easy to slide through basic guards. How Fei Long would be force to react to Adrian once the two connected, however, would depend on how Adrian planned to drive through him.

When Adrian had lunged at Fei Long, he had expected some sort of quick reaction. What he hadn't expected, however, was that the strike would be as quick as it was. A snake hand form, as previously stated, was one of, if not the quickest of all hand strikes, and moving forward as he was, coupled with his general reactionary abilities, meant that, while Adrian would try to get his arm up, he would overshoot in his fervor and bring the forearm up to bear just over the striking hand.
With that block botched, Adrian panicked, and did what any boxer is supposed to do all the time; he tucked his chin down, as fast as he could. He was not fast enough to actually stop the strike from hitting his throat; however, he just managed to put his chin down on top of the incoming fingers, slowing them down just enough to ensure that he wasn't killed by the sudden closing of his windpipe. He would then turn his head quickly to the left after contact with the striking hand, trying to use his chin to brush the hand away from his throat to avoid any hazardous followups. All Adrian could do now is ride out his momentum.
Though it had lessened somewhat from reacting to the strike, Adrian was still moving forward, and his right forearm had been brought to bear in such a way that it would crash first into Fei Long's throat, though provided the Chinese boy would have more time to react than Adrian had. Following up with that, as their bodies would collide, Adrian's left hand would go for another midsection punch, hopefully hidden under the seemingly more pressing impact of the two boy's entire bodies. Adrian's idea was to weaken the boy, and then topple him over entirely. With one bad ankle, he didn't figure it would be too difficult.

The fingertip thrust connected cleanly, though it seemed Adrian was even adept at taking shots a boxer rarely sees well, also. Fei Long's opponent tucked his chin, preventing what was to be his follow up. Without so much as a second thought, Fei Long's body would react to what was given. Curling his fingers down, Fei Long would grip the shirt and the necklace around Adrian's neck, preventing his hand from being shrugged off by the chin.
Yanking down with all his strength, Fei Long would attempt to drag as much of Adrian's momentum off to his left side, preventing a full on bull rush. As he did so he would pivot counter clockwise on his right foot, attemping to get his hip out of the way as he did so.
Turning his body as he pulled down on Adrian, Fei long would end up being struck by Adrian's wrist on the side of his jaw, rather than the forearm to the throat. It hurt, but Fei Long figured it was more of an accident than an actual attack, as it with a relaxed neck it wouldn't result in too much worse than a bruise on his beautiful face.
As Adrian's body would partially move down and towards Fei Long's left side, Fei Long brought up his right hand in yet another leopard fist, bringing it down hard for the packed edge of his hand to strike the back of Adrian's neck for a hella painful attack. Unfortunately for Fei Long, his turn accompanied by his attack would make Adrian's second attack strike his exposed ribs rather than the midsection, also causing significantly more damage.
In most cases, Fei Long would have been able to recover his balance after a charge like this, but with one foot this would not be one of those. Following the chop and Adrian's punch, the boxer's momentum would still crash Fei Long into the ground. The only question was how much fight there was left in Adrian, as well.
