The time was early. Like, an hour before school early. Adrian had gotten there a bit ahead of time, as he had not yet found a gym that was suitable for his tastes, and decided that, for the time being, the school's athletic facilities were adequate enough. After a good half hour of weight training and some time spent on the punching bag, Adrian felt he'd built up a good enough sweat to continue his day. See, Adrian, unbeknownst to most, was kind of a health nut. The Catholic faith leads one to believe that the body is a temple, and even though most Catholics bely their own faith by drinking and smoking, Adrian did little of the former and none of the latter. Instead, he ate as healthily as he could, exercised daily, and generally made a fuss about his general health and physical well-being. Don't get him wrong, though, it was every bit as much a vanity issue as it was a religious one. If you looked good, you felt good, and Adrian, well, Adrian always looked good. Changing out of his athletic gear, Adrian, after a long minute of contemplating it, decided to bite the bullet and shower in the public shower facilities. The poor boy looked pained the entire time, and prayed to God that no one would see, crossing himself afterwards and everything. Thankfully, he was in and out with no major incidents, and changed into his clothes for the day. It was a Friday, and Adrian, for once, had actually dressed down. The shirt was still designer, a genuine Prada silk, and the jeans were Giorgio Armani, to be sure, but it was definitely a more casual look than what he tended to strut around school in. And so, finding there was time left until class was to start, Adrian began to pace around the courtyard, eyeing everyone else who happened to have gotten to school early. He had completed his warmup, and now he was ready to start a real workout, the best way he knew how. ((EDIT: Forgot to add, any and all spectators welcome!))

Seven A.M.
Or something like that. All Fei Long new was that he was early for school. He was used to getting up a couple hours early, making sure he'd get in his daily forms. Yeah, it was mostly out of habit. Good old Uncle Tiao and his strict training regiments didn't give much choice. Scratch that--any choice. Still, put that aside and Fei Long would be lying if he said he didn't enjoy it. Getting active early in the day made him awake for the rest of the day. He more or less forced himself to be a morning person, and it worked.
It seemed today though, Fei Long had been a bit overzealous about showing up. He finished his excercise routine on time, and decided to come early. He was excited about returning full time to the school, as much as it sounded geeky. It wasn't so he could get back to his studied, hell no. It was the people. It was time to branch out, be it with handshakes or arm breaks. Honestly, Fei Long wasn't sure which one he'd rather start with.
Assuming most people wouldn't be in the school, Fei Long made his way into the courtyard. It was California after all, most kids liked to be outside. Fei Long did, for sure. He had a few small conversations here and there, trading phone numbers a few times with some of the local "talent." He'd been sitting at a table conversing with some brunette soccer player. She was named Amanda...or Carol. Maybe Susan. Whatever. He was really only talkin to her for face time, and exposure. She really wasn't that interesting.
"Yeah, so I was like... oh, hey Adrian!"
Pretending to listen made it take an extra moment for Fei Long to realize he was just blown off as she got up and ran to greet another guy. Now, Fei Long had no interest in the girl, but an insult was an insult.
"Are you kidding me?" He said to himself, standing up from the table before pointing his index finger towards the blonde student.
"Hey, Fabio...! You're kind of interrupting here."

~"Yeah, so I was like... oh, hey Adrian!"~
Adrian looked up as he heard his name being called out. Some girl he may have spoken to once or twice before came running up to him, strutting up from a park bench where she had been talking to a boy who looked to be of Asian descent, and who also clearly didn't look happy.
Adrian took all this in, and of course, it set the asshole in him off. Now if he could only remember this girl's name. Amanda? Carol? ....Susan?
"Hey... sweetheart," Adrian said with a smile as she came over. Her arms opened for a hug, and Adrian recieved it gratefully, wrapping his arms around her for a quick hug. Over her back, he could see the boy, to which he gave his usual smug, shit-eating smirk.
The boy would stand up and point at him, letting him know he was interrupting. The girl would detach herself and look over at the Chinese boy, a little bit embarrassed, but even more excited that these two guys were probably about to fight - over her!
"Excuse me? Maybe you weren't actually listening to the lady talk to understand this, but I'm pretty sure you just got ditched. As far as I see it, you're the one who's kinda interrupting."
Adrian's eyebrow rose at the boy as he took in his clothing and posture. He held himself well, like a real man should, but his clothes didn't particularly indicate any sort of social standing. Adrian decided, for now, to hold off any further judgment until he had more to go off. It was irrelevant anyway. Adrian was itching for a fight, and he could tell this one would almost surely oblige, happily or not.

"Oh, no. I don't think so."
Fei Long almost chuckled the words, throwing them out of his pissed off smirk. As he shook his head slightly from side to side, he caught glimpse of mystery girl yet again. Her cheeks were a little rosy, probably embarassed. That is, that would be Fei Long's impression if she didn't have a stupid damn smile across her face. The way she looked, she must have thought she was the important one here. Nah. Ain't gonna happen.
"Of course I wasn't listening to anything she said! Have you seen her? What makes you think I'd be remotely interested in hearing her talk? No offense."
Fei Long raised his hands dramatically in a large shrug, emphasizing his words through body langauage. At the end he gave a small, insincere apologetic smile to the girl, who looked like she was barely processing the words as it was. Oh well, maybe she'd catch up later.
"Now, that still doesn't excuse you for interrupting my trails of thought. So, pretty boy, is at that bulk you've built up worth a damn?" Sliding his left foot out by the ball of his foot, Fei long brought both hands up, his left out front with both hands open and the edges turned out wards.
"Heh." Fei Long added, a cocky smirk erupting as he waved his index finger in the universal gesture that said..."Bring it, Sunshine."

To hear this Chinese kid get all mad over his words brought a chuckle right back to Adrian's lips. He shook his head at the boy, listening to what he had to say. When he insulted the girl, however, despite the fact that Adrian, for all intents and purposes, agreed word for word with the kid, his background kicked in and he would oppose him on principle.
"Now you're just being rude." He turned to the girl, who looked strangely unphased. "I apologize for his shit-headedness... dear. He's likely just upset because he's poor."
The girl giggled a bit, but still backed off somewhat. She could tell what was about to go down, anyone nearby could. The Chinese boy issued forth a challenge, and Adrian never would refuse one of those, even when it might get him in trouble.
"Aww, the poor boy can't get a date, so he's gonna take it out by beating down someone better looking? How quaint. Put your money where your mouth is, whelp."
Adrian thrusted both his hand forward quickly before bringing them up in a boxing stance. The motion helped to pull his shirt higher up over his shoulders to relieve any chance of the shirt getting caught around his back. Quickly, the boy would start shuffle-stepping forward, keeping his guard high and ready like any good boxer. Once he got within range, he tested the waters, shooting a quick right jab at the boy's left hand. It was a range-finder, if anything, coupled with a speed test. He wanted to see what the boy would do, and how fast he could react to it.

"...What?" Fei Long furrowed his brow, never having someone insult his social status before.
"Just because I don't flaunt it all like a metro, doesn't mean I don't have means. You are right about one thing, though. You are the one who's going to get beat down."
Fei Long was busy running his own mouth off that he almost forsaked Adrian's movements. Thankfully, he'd never been much of a strategic thinker as it was, and was able to react quickly when the jab came in. Aware of the range, Fei Long would only twist his hand out just a bit more, placing his hand palm out. Taking the punch to his palm there was a surprisingly loud smack as the hard fist slammed into the calloused palm.
Pushing against the fist, Fei Long would push his own body backwards out of range once more as he vaulted in a back handspring that took him back to the table, where he would gracefully take a seat with a smug look on his face as a whistle erupted from his lips.
"A boxer, huh? Well, this just got interesting. I'll take that advice, actually. Two-hundred on me, Fei Long, as the victor. Extra hundred if it ends under three minutes."

Ugh.
Fist met palm with a loud smack, and the boy pushed off into a back-handspring, landing elegantly into a seated position, a shit-eating smirk on his face. His next words, however, were definitely something that caught the wealthy youngster's attention.
So he does have money? And he wants to put it on the fight? Maybe he's alright after all.
"So you wanna lose money AND pride? Fine, I'll take that bet."
Adrian reached into his pocket to grab his wallet, opening it up and flashing three benjamins. He wouldn't put it anywhere, he was just, well, basically flaunting his money and showing that he was good for it. Putting the cash in his wallet and his wallet in his jeans, Adrian shrugged and resumed his fight stance.
"So get off your ass and come fight, then!"

Off to a great start. Beating the biggest, strongest, richest guy around is sure to rocket my reputation even higher!
With a grin from ear to ear, Fei Long pushed himself to a standing position on the table, uttering "You got it."
Pushing off his right leg, Fei Long propelled himself as he spun counter clockwise. Twisting his upper body, Fei Long would gain extra torque as he'd come downwards at Adrian's left diagonal in a right side tornado turning kick. A powerful kick on its own, the table's height would give him extra momentum. It was a flashy move, so it wouldn't be that hard to see something coming at him. Still, the momentum was built up high enough where Fei Long planned to batter whatever guard was put up, though if there wasn't one, the top of his foot would crash into the left side of Adrian's neck.

The boy leapt off the table, flying through the air and spinning into a hard spin kick. Adrian's eyes narrowed somewhat as the boy attacked.
Fuck, he's fast!
The only thing Adrian had going for him at this point was that the attack was a very high-risk move, and something that was flashy enough to see coming a bit away. The boy's leg raised high and prepared to kick down at Adrian. Adrian's retort would be to apply classic boxing practices to a much more unorthodox situation.
He would bob and weave.
As the kick came towards him, Adrian would tuck in his chin, lower his body slightly forward, and swing his upper body to the left. If all went according to plan, he would find himself weaving directly under the kick. As he finished the weave, Adrian would power back up to a standing position, swinging a right uppercut in a slightly more wild fashion than he would usually. The target would, hopefully, end up being the Chinese boy's chin, as he was still falling to the ground, adding his own falling momentum to Adrian's rising one. If the attack connected, it could easily be a one-hit KO.
Regardless of that, however, it was still a wild punch. Adrian could attempt to be as calculating as possible, but he was put off by the boy's fancy moves and high-speed attack. If the punch landed, even only somewhat, Adrian would most likely back off, putting distance between them and attempting to bring the fight back to his own terms.

3...2...1...connection!...Where the hell is the connection?Expecting to hit something, anything, Fei Long was surprised as his momentum continued going past its impact point. Without hitting anything, Fei Long's right foot would land just in front of Adrian's own right foot, his momentum still carrying over. Spinning a second time to his left as he pivoted on his right foot, Fei Long planned to make the best of his momentum, aiming a striked with the edge of his left hand, trying a second time to strike the left side of Adrian's neck. Instead, the chop would end up striking the lower forearm, just below the elbow. Without even registering the punch as of yet, Fei Long's body reacted according, decreasing the reach of his chop as it would come across his body and impact against the incoming attack, negating both as it deflected the arm to the outside. As his momentum would finally come to an end, Fei Long's left foot would land next to his right, placing Adrian's right foot between both of his and interlocking their stances from a focal standpoint. With the last of his torque, his right hand would shoot out in a leopard fist aimming for the bridge of Adrian's nose.

There was a fast exchange of blows, as the Chinese boy finally hit the ground, landing extremely close to Adrian and basically interlocking the two fighter's stances. Adrian's uppercutting right was batted aside slightly, but before he could fully bring it back up to bear, the Chinese boy's hand formed into a rather distinct fist and flew forward, aiming for Adrian's nose.
Adrian's left hand rocked into defensive mode, his fist opening slightly as it came across his face. He would juke his head to the left to ensure the attack missed, as his left would would swing into the fist to bat it away. In true boxer fashion, as he blocked with his left, he would attack with his right, swinging a tightly-balled fist into his opponent's midsection in an uppercutting fashion. Upon connection, whether a block or a hit, Adrian's left fist would shoot over the boy's just-blocked right hand with a left hook to his chin.

Fei Long's fist met with a deflection of Adrian's, both fighter's exchanging back and forth with seamless fluidity. Not overshooting his strike, Fei Long snapped his right hand back in, already preparing for a follow up. Adrian's right hand came back into play as well, a short punch aimming for his midsection. Without thought, Fei Long's left hand palmed the forearm down and to the inside, turning slightly to the right to insure it was once again deflected away from harm.
In rapid succession, as soon as one arm finished the other would shoot out. Immediately after palming away the punch, Fei Long's right leopard fist would shoot out once more, this time in an upward strike at the underside of Adrian's chin. Using less arm movement and more hip movement, Fei Long turned his body to the left as he did so, striking hard.
Both offensive natures would likely cause each of them to connect with their strikes, but also forcing them to take eachother's strikes as well. Almost simultaneously, Fei Long's fist would connect with the chin at the same time as Adrian's fist would strike him. The only plus side, was that the turn to the left for his own attack would cause the hook to strike him in the cheek instead of the chin, though causing him to stumble off to the left nonetheless, attempting to ride out some of the blow.
Shit...he's not half bad!

Shit!
The fist came in, just as Adrian's would to the Chinese boy. While his opponent was lucky in that he turned his head and did not receive the full brunt of the blow, Adrian was also lucky in that, upon realization that he would be getting punched as well, his opponent's middle-knuckle punch would lose some of its focus, as Adrian's would hit slightly ahead of the other boy's, and with less precision on such a punch that required extra precision, the impact would be lessened, if only slightly. Regardless, he tensed his jaw and tucked his chin a quickly as he could, which didn't help too much.
While his opponent would go off reeling, Adrian was made of hardier stuff than that. His head would be rocked to the side, where he would hold it for a moment, breathing in and out to release the pain. Finally, he worked around his jaw, making sure it was fine and wouldn't lock up. Quickly, he stalked after Fei Long, who would just be recovering from his stumble.
Continuing his offensive bullrush, Adrian would step in towards the boy, trying to catch him off guard, and swing a right hook towards his face again, still going for that knockout blow. After all, if he could drop him in under three minutes, that's just another hundred bucks. A drop in the bucket for him, certainly, but Adrian knew as well as his opponent that the money was more for ego-stroking than anything else.

"You're going to have to hit harder than that!"
Fei Long smirked through dazed vision, hoping for the exact opposite of what he said. Though momentarily dazed, Fei Long was far from being finished. A quick shake of his head cleared the fog, preparing him just in time for Adrian's newest onslaught.
The chinese student would drop his wait and shift his hips to the left, doing his own version of what a boxer would call 'bob and weave.' Ducking under the right hook, Fei Long would pop up as his right leg snapped out in a low round kick, striking his shin agains the inner right shin of Adrian. A good boxer usually had a strong foundation, and while the usual sweep probably wouldn't take Adrian's feet out from under him, it would disrupt it, creating an adequate distraction.
During the evasion and kick, Fei Long's right hand would move just in front of his face, gripping the arm just behind the elbow and pushing to the outside. The evasion would have cleared him enough, but the grab and extra oomph in the hook's momentum would provide extra insurance. Outside Adrian's guard, who would hopefully be recovering his footing, Fei Long turned back to the right, keeping his right hand on Adrian's arm as his left shot across in a similiar fashion to a hook, thought opting to use the heel of the palm rather than the fist as it aimmed for the chin.

If Fei Long had been the first person Adrian had fought since he was let loose upon the Public School system that used a kick on him, there was no doubt that it would have not only connected, but worked as a perfect diversion and even a great start to weaking the boxer's base. But, unfortunately for the Chinese boy, he was not, and Adrian had started to adapt to the Eastern styles, and was only getting better every day.
When the inside kick came, Adrian caught it just in the corner of his vision, his eyes watching the Asian's midsection as he had been taught. His right leg lifted, slightly, just enough for the kick to pass by below. He would stomp his leg down, then, having figured out enough of this kid to know his precision and speed. His arm was getting pushed across his body, and a hooking punch was coming in. His right arm may have been grabbed, but it wasn't immobilized, and Adrian blocked the incoming palm strike by tucking his chin like any good boxer would and shrugging his shoulder up into the path of the punch. It might hurt a bit, sure, but it definitely beat getting socked in the face.
As the punch would get deflected off of Adrian's shoulder, the stronger fighter would again powerhouse forward, stepping with his left foot around so that he would be coming to position near Tiao's right side. He would push against the boy with his right elbow, forcing him back somewhat, and as he stepped around would send a hard left hook, his dominant hand, towards Tiao's lower ribcage and kidneys.
If Adrian knew anything about fighters, it was that the smaller ones usually couldn't take as many hits, and had less stamina. A few good body shots would exploit both those weaknesses.
