Mathew had made up his mind, he was going to try and make himself a better person. One of the first things he was going to do as this new, and hopefully improved Mathew was set some people that have been good to him free. Bastille and Adrian, his somewhat loyal followers, both of them foolish enough to wager their freedom in a fight against him, blinded by pride they had been, but Mathew offered to train them both. He had wanted to make them strong, loyal fighters that were hand trained to work with him. He would still train them if they wanted, but it would be their choice if they did.
He awaited them in the courtyard, having texted them both with a simple message telling them to meet him here after school. He stood under a Maple Tree watching the students leave for home.
He was sure it was still odd to see him without the Earth Dragon Coat. He know he still felt odd without it, almost naked even. But it would get easier as time went on. He would get used to it, after all at the end of the day it was just a piece of clothing.

Adrian's phone went off in the middle of class, much to the chagrin of the teacher in charge. Adrian looked up at the man, giving him a look that said, in so many words, "Make mention of this and I'll smash that desk of yours to splinters with your face" and, to no surprise to the wealthy youngster, the teacher made no mention to reprimand the boy as he checked the text message, seeing the note from Mathew. It was as vague and cryptic as all text messages ever sent to people in this school were, and so Adrian paid it little heed, at least until it was time to meet the Earth Dragon.
Adrian strode into the courtyard, his eyes scanning the place for that iconic green coat his captor and friend always wore. As such, Adrian, at first, wouldn't even notice the boy, and once he did, his eyebrows would raise slightly to see him without it. Upon getting a bead on him, Adrian would raise a hand in a succinct wave, ensuring that Mathew saw him as he took to a light jog, cutting the distance between them in moments.
"Hey, I think you forgot to put something on this morning," Adrian said, nodding his head towards Mathew's shoulders, where the wealthy youngster was so accustomed to seeing that dull green jacket lay.

Her cell phone had buzzed as she sat in the tree. Her mind on other things as they often where these days, she was shocked to realize who the text was from. Since when did he have her phone number. She was already at the court yard anyway and so she closed her eyes for a restless nap, which ended up just being the closing of her eyes, before she met with her master.
She click and she realized the text had been below her. Her crimson eyes darted down to look at the figure that was Amtrum. She would flip down from the tree and land in a crouch before standing up with a yawn. Her eyes on Adrian who had just arrived. Somehow something inside her told her this was not a normal meeting...something was wrong. Her eyes opened from their closed state to look at him long and hard. Yet her lips stayed closed.

He raised his eyebrow upon seeing Bastille flip down from the tree he was at. It was random to say the least, but at least they were both here. Adrian was the first to bring up Mathew's lack of jacket. Though Mathew already knew what he was going to do about that. He just gave him a small shrug as if saying it wasn't a big deal, it was just a jacket.
"Yeah I decided I was going to try a new look. What do you think?" He said with a grin as he spun around for both Bastille and Adrian to look over. Mostly as a goof, but if they had any fashion tips, he would listen. Well unless Adrian tried to get him to wear one of those man panty things he wore around the house, that wasn't happening.
"I am going to cut right to the chase here. I am trying to clean up my act a bit, and I thought it was probably the best thing to do, all things considered, to set you both free. Both of your contracts to me are considered fulfilled. You have both been very loyal, and if you want I am still more then willing to train you. Only it will be because you want to continue, not because you have to."
He had thought long and hard on this matter, about what the best way to go was. He had decided on straight out. There was no use beating around the bush with the issue, and none of them were really the small talk type. At least with each other. He couldn't speak for how they acted when he wasn't around, but it was almost always business when they were together.

Adrian smirked as Mathew joked about his new look. "It's alright, I guess. Make you look more vulnerable. Something about a trench coat just screams 'don't fuck with me'."
Adrian shrugged, and listened to what he had to say with a bit of an odd look to his face. What seemed so weird was that the rich youngster had no idea how he felt about that. I mean, he was no longer bound to anything Mathew wanted, and that was a good thing, of course; and yet, he never had to do much to begin with, and at least he'd had a friend.
"Well... that's it?" Adrian said, his hands coming up in a little shrug. "No, I don't know, big ceremony, or final beatdown, or orders to go on?"
Adrian scratched his head, realizing that, without Mathew' guidance, he had no idea what was going to happen to him. He'd come to Moral Crest primarily because Mathew was going to be here, and he figured he'd have to follow, but also because at least with Mathew, Adrian knew what was going on. If he was no longer Mathew's servant, or whatever he was to the boy, he would have to direct his own path.
"What about..." Adrian faltered, unsure of Bastille's position and understanding on the subject. He shot her a quick look, then took a step closer, leaning in to ask in a hushed tone that Bastille would still likely be able to hear. "What about the Reapers?"

“as you wish…” she said quietly but commented no further on the events. She heard Adrian’s reply but had no comment on that either. Had she suspected this? No, in truth she had not…but she wasn’t surprised either. Life was no longer able to surprise her much on these kinds of terms, though if he suddenly got down on one knee and proposed to her she might be shocked though if he proposed to Adrian it wouldn’t be a shocker but it sure as hell would be a laugh. She had to muse at her thoughts but shrugged. She had never officially joined the reapers always preferring to stay clear of any rivalry potential areas…however she couldn’t help but feel a bit lost by this news. Instead she simply closed her eyes, crossed her arms and waited.
