I looked down, checking the piece of paper in my hand...
You are to sit in and visit a high school English class, then write a four page summary on what you learned from the class and the teacher. Then you are to evaluate the student's responses and log any trouble makers.
Fuck my life! Why did I always get such boring assignments? Sure, it wasn't a hard assignment but really now, an English class... I would half expect all the kids to be sleeping in class... I looked down at my shoes. My right one seemed to be sticking every time I took a step. I lifted it up, looking at the bottom...
Again... fuck my life... Gum was on the bottom of my band new shoes. Dirty little bastards! With a sigh I looked up to see if I was at all in the right place...
Is this the English Building?

Matrim had been walking to his english class, he wasn't exactly too worried about it, he would most likely sleep. The only good thing about this injury was the perk it came from, no mobility in either arm meant no writing, no turning pages, none of that. So he pretty much had himself a nice little helper monkey to do all those things. That is, unless he wanted to take a nice nap. But that was put on hold when he saw what appeared to be a confused individual. At least, it looked that way to him. He was holding a piece of paper, and Matrim just guessed that it might be his class schedule or something.
"Hey," Matrim said, wearing nothing but Jeans and a white button up t-shirt left unbuttoned. His arms were crossed almost like a mummy in their slings. He was completely barefoot, since that's the way he liked it, and had a book bag on one of his shoulders, "Can I help you find anything?"

"Hey, Can I help you find anything?"
"Hmp?" I said in acknowledgment.
I looked him up and down, taking notice of his... 'form'.
Not bad, not bad, could use some nice clothes though.
"Uh yes actually, I am looking for this English class." I told the man as I handed him my assignment. On the piece of paper it had a room number and a teachers name... But I didn't know my way around this place at all. It was nice of the fit native to take the time to help me...
I should get this man's name.
"Excuse me, how rude am I being? My name is Mortis Dauer. Anything you can do to direct me to my class would be much appreciated."

"Uh yes actually, I am looking for this English class." The boy tried to hand the paper to Matrim. Matrim simply looked down at his arms and looked at the boy, then back to his arms, and then shrugged and leaned over to look at the paper without taking it. He nodded and looked back at the kid, "Excuse me, how rude am I being? My name is Mortis Dauer. Anything you can do to direct me to my class would be much appreciated."
"Well I wouldn't say you're being rude at all," Matrim said, "Easy, just follow me. I'm in that class too, and I'm Matrim Gallagher, pardon me for not shaking your hand but I've found that it's best to avoid moving my arms too awful much."
Matrim started to lead the day, opening the door for Mortis with his epic door opening skills using his knee. He would follow him in and lead the way to the classroom, opening the door for that as well. Matrim was mostly doing this as a form of training for his ability to use his legs for otherwise normal day tasks for your hands. Of course, shampooing his hair was a little difficult, and awkward.
"Class, sweet class," Matrim said stepping in, there were a few seats empty on the line of desks near the window, as well as open seats in the row next to that one. Matrim took a seat near the window, his back leaning against the small section of wall and his head resting on the window itself so he was sitting sideways in his chair. The chairs around him were empty and this way if Mortis wanted to he could sit near Matrim as they waited for the teacher to show.
"So, you're new?"

I followed Matrim to our shared destination, taking the seat next to his.
"So, you're new?"
I nodded my head.
"Yes sir, I just moved here from San Fransisco. Not too terribly far from here at all really."
I looked around as we waited for the English teacher to arrive. There were some kids in the classroom, but not too many. I then looked back to Matrim.
"So do you like taking educational courses, or do you prefer sports and extra curricular activities?" It would sound like an off the wall question, but it was part of Mort's assignment to gain some understanding of the students in the class.

"Sports," Matrim said laughing a little, "I'm the Varsity Captain of the school, so sports are sort of my specialty. I'm not much for playing most sports myself, other then soccer, but I love going to the American football games and cheering them on. Aside from that I like classes sure, I mean math is alright, but I do prefer the more physical activities involved with sports."
Matrim then wondered why the guy had asked him this question, it didn't seem odd to Matrim for some reason. More then likely it's because Matrim liked talking about himself, no matter the reason. And this guy just happened to provide him with a pretty good excuse to talk about what he liked and didn't like.
"So whats your deal?" Matrim asked as the teacher came into the classroom. Matrim knew there was probably a few seconds to talk before class would start, not to mention Matrim didn't have to pay too much attention since he couldn't exactly take notes or write assignments in his current state, "Last time I heard somebody say 'extra-curricular activities' in a casual conversation it was a guidance counselor. You aren't a guidance counselor are you?"
