"A disagreement on Methods is more then enough reason to count you against me. After all I have been in the same gang as people that disapproved of my methods and they worked against me. Many people agree with my vision, but not the way I do things. I do not see them or you lining up to support me." He said frankly, looking down at her as he crossed his arms over his chest.
He was taking on the stance of a parent or older sibling lecturing a small child. Like she wasn't able to understand why he didn't count her on his side. After all she had just seen him before and attacked him. If that wasn't a clear sign of aggression what was?
"I am afraid you will have to treat it like a movie. You will have to wait and see how it ends." He said grinning that same cocky grin he was known for. His hands fell back down to his sides and slipped in to his pocket. His fingers feeling the card he had within.
Leaning down he looked her right in the eyes, his nose brushing against hers. "Still you are cute...." He said as he slid his hand out of his pocket, the hand holding the card in his palm in a way so that it wasn't visible from her perspective. His hand moved behind her, slipping in to her left back pocket gripping her ass again.
"Maybe in time, I will tell you. If you are on my side though, you are going to have to prove it." With that he kissed her again, not caring if she wanted it or not. It didn't matter, he wanted to do it, thus he would. When the kiss broke he would just slide his hand out of her pocket leaving the card with his name and number on it. She would call him later, he had a feeling about that.

He crossed his arms over his chest and looked down at her. Pfft. Who the hell does he think he is? My dad? Tch... She chuckled at him. Sara had to admit though. He had a point. She had done nothing to show him that he could trust her, or that she supported him. Which she didn't. She didn't support him, nor did she trust him. So how could expect him to trust her? She had finally thrown all caution to the wind, and decided to continue to play this little game. She was just that curious now. She no longer wanted to know, she needed to.
"I am afraid you will have to treat it like a movie. You will have to wait and see how it ends."
He grinnned. Her face hardened. She hated that stupid little grin. Travis had a little grin like that. She liked his grin. She hated his. This time, she didn't flinch when he leaned down towards her. The feeling of diappointment at being unable to get him to tell her had made her feel slightly angry. And that anger kept her steady. And plus. It had seemed like they had bonded a little. That was nice... PFFFFT, right
Sara's eyes narrowed as his nose brushed hers. What a cocky bastard- OH. HELL. NO. She was NOT cute... He did not just go there.... She took a deep breath. She was going to get her answer from him. If it was the last thing she did, she was going to get it. His hand slid into her back pocket, squeezing her ass. Time to play again~Her eyes opened wide in mock shock, attempting to put as much innocent cuteness in her eyes as possible.
"Maybe in time, I will tell you. If you are on my side though, you are going to have to prove it."
Before she could say anything, he kissed her, and she forced herself to kiss back. Not as much as she had when he had challenged her, but enough to keep him happy. When he pulled away, his hand sliding out of her pocket, she looked up at him, a small pout on her face. She crossed her arms over her chest and turned away. "But... I'm not patient, I hate waiting till the end of the movie." She turned her head to look at him. "How would you have me prove I'm on your side?"

She did bring up an interesting question. What could she do to prove that he could trust her. Honestly there was nothing she could do for immediate results. Maybe if he knew about Travis, he would have her hospitalize him as a sign of faith, if she was willing to do that to someone she cared about for him. Then he would trust her, but he didn't know about him, and he could think of no one task that would make him change him change his opinion of her.
"Patience is a Virtue, besides I honestly can't think of something that will make me instantly trust you Sara. Sorry you are going to have to earn that over time if you want it."
With that he gave her another condescending grin and another pat on the head. He did like pissing her off. It wasn't hard to do when someone had so much pride, and taking them down a peg was always a good way to pass the time.

She didn't know how much more of this she could take. "Patience is a Virtue" my ass. She hated having to wait. She hated not knowing. And she hated people who rubbed salt in wounds. She screamed and cursed inwardly as he patted her on the head again, grinning at her like she was a child.
She had to earn his trust. She didn't like that, because that would put her below him, and she refused to be put below anyone. Her pride was to large for that. It killed her just to have to play this game. How was she supposed to earn it. She tried to keep her face looking calm as she thought it through, trying to decide her next move.
Either way, she was tired of standing, so she smiled at him and dropped down to the ground, leaning her back against the locker. She looked up at him patting the ground next to her. She wasn't planning on going back to class or anything, so sitting was fine. If he chose to stay then great, if he chose to leave... then boo on him~
Whether he sat or not, she wanted to get this part in. She tried to keep her voice light and airy, but she wanted to scream and beat the answer to his secret out of him. "I didn't mean trust me right off. I know trust takes time, even if I hate when things take a long time." She let out a laugh and leaned back, resting her head against the locker. She wanted to go home. That would be nice. Go home and crawl into her bed.

Mathew sat down next to her, leaning back against the lockers and closing his eyes. He heard her say that she didn't mean for him to trust her right off the bat. That was good, because to expect that was just foolish and stupid. He didn't think she was either of those, but he had been wrong before.
"That's good, because you would be very disappointed then."
He said simply. He didn't know what to say, he didn't really have anything to say to her. Every time they met she was causing trouble, and she seemed to have a real big beef with him. He was bored with her attempts. Like the last fight, where she threw the lock at him. It was boring, no challenge. Or sure the locks hurt. But in the end he had to take her to the nurse, he always was the one left standing. It was disheartening. Nothing seemed to be able to break him. Sometimes he thought he was cursed, that he had the curse of invulnerability.

"That's good, because you would be very disappointed then."
She had been kind of surprised when he sat down next to her, but that was fine. He was a very stubborn person. But so was she. She wasn't going to give up on this, but she found that the more she talked to him, the less annoying he seemed. It appeared that he wasn't completely hyped up on just the fact that he crucified blind kids and stupid shit like that. It almost seemed like he actually cared for the school.
Not that she cared much about him. She didn't trust him as far as she could throw him, which, up to this point, was looking really bad considering she couldn't even lay a finger on him. He was strong to. To strong. She didn't want to continue to stay on his bad side. At least if she wanted any peace at school.
She sighed, continuing to sit in silence with him while she worked through everything in her mind. Everything was swirling around in it like a storm and it was starting to feel kind of awkward. She needed to think of something to say. And quickly. So she said the first that came to mind.
"Umm... Thanks again." She looked away. Good start. It wasn't so hard. No major ODD kicking in, no anger rising simply because he was in a position of authority over her. So far so good. A little bit of shaking, but nothing major. "So how do you like it here...? It's not that different from 259 eh?"

"Well it IS my job." He said in a slightly mocking tone. Not overly mean, but there was a hint of sarcasm to it. He was planning on playing nice though, he just couldn't help but have a little sarcasm now and then. He was still Mathew after all, it couldn't be helped. He smiled when she asked him how he liked the new school, commenting on how it wasn't much different then 259. She obviously had not been transferred around a lot like Mathew was.
"Honestly? They are all pretty much the same. I have been transferred a lot, same thing, different faces." He said with a shrug, in all honesty it made little difference to him. Still she was trying, even if it was just with small talk, he would reward her by keeping the conversation going.
"What about you? I am guessing you have not transferred nearly as much as I have. Besides today have you been staying out of trouble?" He asked grinning.
He took his job seriously, and he had no problem beating her down if he caught her starting trouble. He tried to treat everyone the same, everyone was equal under him. At least that was how he liked to think.

Sara had chosen to ignore his sarcasm, assuming it was simply a part of being an ass that he was unable to change. It seemed though, that he would oblige her, answering her question. From his answer, she assumed that he really didn't see a difference between the two schools. She did. They were subtle, but they were there.
"What about you? I am guessing you have not transferred nearly as much as I have. Besides today have you been staying out of trouble?"
She turned her head to the side, considering her answer. She figured if she was going to try to make small talk with him, she would be honest. It wasn't like it was anything personal that she would be revealing. Just her observations.
"No, the only transfer I've been through was to 259. That was a tough... As for trouble...? It's been pretty much the same here as it was back at 259." She paused, smiling at him, wondering if he knew just how many fights she had started there. But before he could comment, she moved on. "But ya, I think it's pretty much the same here, but there are small differences... It's the first time I've been hated for being a transfer...?" She let out a nervous laugh at that.

"Really? I find that it is pretty normal. Hell back on 259 there was a gang that was out to beat down all transfers. That Militia thing, run by some Nazi or something. Very anti transfer, my first day there I got attacked by three guys for being a transfer."
He said with a small laugh, those were good times. Naturally he beat them all down, they decided to do a tactical withdraw. He took that as they were running before he really fucked them up. No, being a transfer was normally a rift, especially when it was a large transfer. People were cliquish, and all of a sudden you have a large group of people dropped in to your midst, of course there would be tension. It is only natural. It's like being the new kid in school, but bringing half the school with you. One or two people and then people want to get to know you. One hundred people and then students get bitter or angry. Tensions rise and with the current system things just get violent.
"So I would say you got lucky on 259, this is pretty much the norm." He said with an encouraging smile, he still new how hard his first transfer was. So he could relate somewhat with her, though he sought to make a name for himself, and thus challenged the strongest people he could find when he did so.

"So I would say you got lucky on 259, this is pretty much the norm."
Compared to his story, she was going to have to say that she agreed. She had yet to be confronted by more then one student, and even that she had managed to handle without fists. But it was the general waves of heat being sent towards her that had her cringing away from the other students of 42. They... didn't seem to like her, simply because she was a transfer. She was starting to feel quite isolated. But it was still the beginning... They would warm up to her.. Right?
But at least the two of them were making so headway towards not being mortal enemies. This was good. Building rapport, and building the framework of... something other then hate.... She was getting antsy already though, the idea of his little secret eating at the edges of her mind. She turned her head to look at him, flashing a him a friendly, joking smile.
"Ready to trust me yet?" GODDAMN SHE WANTED TO KNOW~

Mathew grinned, and leaned in like he was going to kiss her. His hand moving to cup her cheek gently, his thumb stroking her face. His lips moved closer to hers, inching their way slowly, then about an inch before touching her lips with his he stopped. His lips parted, moving slightly to let out a small whisper, a simple answer.
"Nope."
With that he pulled away again, a smug grin on his face. But he was almost always smug, surely she was getting used to that by now. Instead of telling her his little secret he just leaned back against the locker, looking across the hall.
"Be careful, I will give you some advice from someone that has been around the block a few times. Don't commit to anything until you are sure it is what you really want. Don't snatch up the first offer made to you. A lot of gangs try and hook people in with a positive goal. Just remember, a gang is a gang. If you really want to get through school without people hating you, I advise staying out of the gang wars, or Pillar struggles. Otherwise you might make some real enemies. I am far from the worst person out there."
He said with a knowing smile. Compared to some people he had met at his other schools, he was a very polite and upstanding young man. And that is with the crucifixion. He was giving her some friendly advice, a lesson that would probably go unheeded. But she would learn, when she made a powerful enemy, she would learn.

Sara was shocked when he leaned in again like he was going to kiss her. Despite her shock, she couldn't help but feel her heart beat quicken, her blood boil, both in anger and... And what? NOTHING! Thats what! She refused to acknowledge anything else she felt. There was anger. Nothing else. His finger ran across her cheek, and she flinched, afraid he was going to suddenly slap her or something. His gentleness surprised her, left her mouth hanging slightly open as he muttered a single word to her.
"Nope."
And then he pulled away, and she was left there, her heart pounding out of her chest, her mouth hanging open. She tried to sort out her mind, closing her mouth and looking straight ahead, slightly confused. What had just happened there? And then he changed the subject. She kept her gaze straight ahead, refusing to look at him as he spoke. He was confusing her, talking about the gangs. Up to now, she had had relatively no contact with the gangs. There had never been a reason for it. She smiled. What did she have to worry about that for, its not like it would ever affect her right?
In many ways though, she felt like he was trying to help her, warning her in a way to help her keep to the right track. Well she appreciated that... To an extent. It was nice to know he cared... or something. She doubted he really cared... Or really even felt anything towards her. At the moment, she didn't know what she felt for him. But whatever it was, there was a good dose of hate boiling around in there. But the least she could do was awknowledge his... help.
She turned to look at him, the smile dropping from her face as she took a more serious tone. "Thank you, I appreciate the advice." She thought for a second. "I can't say I'll follow it, but I'll definitely keep it mind."

"Mhm."
He really didn't expect her to follow his warning, she was headstrong to a fault and a bit on the stupid side. At least from what she has shown him. She didn't seem to know when she was over her head, and had thus far been lucky. At least with Mathew, he had every reason to fuck her up beyond belief. Honestly she reminded Mathew of him, a long time ago, but him none the less. He could see where she was going, at least he thought he could. It wasn't a pretty road, and he didn't wish it on anyone.
"You know why I haven't killed you yet or anything? I mean you have given me every reason too you know." He said with a laugh. She had too, with the locks and the park incident. She was nothing but a pain in his ass every time he ran in to her.
"You actually remind me a lot of myself when I was a bit younger. I guess that is why I am warning you, because if you are not careful you are going to end up just like me. All it takes is getting mixed up with the wrong people." He said with a shrug, once again he doubted she would follow his advice, but at least he was trying.

"Mhm."
Well... She turned away looking slightly embarrassed now. This was... now awkward. She didn't know what to say now. This guy, a person she had declared her mortal enemy from the moment she had met him... and she was thanking him for advice. Well... At least he wasn't as bad as she had originally thought. He just... took some getting used to. She still hated him.
"You know why I haven't killed you yet or anything?"
Her head snapped back to him. Oh.. Hell no. He did not just go there. Like he could kill her. Pshh. But his laugh... It was a joke? Sarcasm? Better have been. Or she would have to rip his damn head off right here where they sat. But he seemed to be taking a fatherly route in this. She listened patiently. What else could she do?
She sighed. "Thanks... I think. I don't really know what to say... But... I'll keep it in mind." She exhaled a long breath, a blush coming to her cheeks. "Ya..."
She looked around wondering what time it was. And then the bell rang. Sara jumped at the sound of it, her hand going to her face in embarrassment. If that didn't show how on edge she was right now, nothing would. She looked over at Mathew, a small, nervous smile on her face. "Well... I guess that's my cue to leave then... It was nice talking to you... Mathew... Thanks again."
She pushed herself to her feet, brushing herself off. "Maybe I'll... See you around... Or something..." And with that she rushed off, without waiting for a reply.

He watched her run off when the bell rang, he wasn't sure if she was just in a hurry to go, or if she was in a hurry to get away from him. Probably both, he couldn't blame her. Though he did feel a bit of disappointment as he watched her run off. He already knew what was in her future. Pain, suffering, hatred, fear, and self loathing. She was right on the same track he was, probably a bit worse then him even. She didn't seem to have his flair for words, something that had stopped a lot of blood that would have otherwise been shed with fists. It was true he used it to get what he wanted, but was she any different? Was anyone? Everyone did what they did to get what they wanted, just some things were more socially acceptable.
Mathew had to get to class as well, so he would slowly pick himself up off the ground. Giving the area one last look over, making sure everything was in order. Once it was confirmed that no one was stupid enough to start something with him standing right there he would leave the hall to head to his next class.
