"Soul Eraser!"
The blast that came forth from Morrigan's cannon would be the last thing seen by her brave challanger, Iron Man.
"Yeah, fuck you bitch."
I said, giving myself a satisfied grin as I took a moment to stretch my back. Marvel vs Captom 2, the best fucking fighting game ever. I had been dispatching challangers all day, saying they could earn the machine back by defeating me... Unlikely... Blackheart, Gambit, and Morrigan- my team of death. The past two hours had handed me wins against nine challangers and two finished runs through the game.
Two dollars for THIS much fun Damien? I didn't think it possible.
Welcome to the new generation.
If only I could face you... I'd annihilate you.
Sure Jester, sure...
As I looked around and saw people looking, I considered stopping, but meh, winning was too much fun.

"Honestly I'll never get you video game junkies," Matrim said, approaching from behind the group. Both arms in casts and slings, crossed in front of his chest. It was obvious he wasn't going to challenge this boy, but he'd pay attention and watch. What was he doing in an arcade you ask? He was bored. And when Matrim got bored he liked going places and doing things. And since in his current condition he wasn't going to do much, he would watch others. So seeing the familiar face sparked Matrim's curiosity.
"Speaking of which, I don't think we've ever been really properly introduced," Matrim said, "Forgive me for not shaking your hand, but I'm sure you'll understand given the circumstances. I'm Matrim Gallagher."
Sure the guy already knew his name. But Matrim found that it was probably better to introduce himself to the guy. After all, it wasn't like they knew a single thing about each other aside from stuff taken at face value.

"Ah, in the presense of another Pillar-" I said with a smile. "And I'll excuse the handshake THIS time." I winked. "Damien Kross, to some, Jester. Director of Media, as you know." I gave a short bow. "And a junkie? Hardly. It just boosts my ego to serve some punk bitches their asses in Marvel versus Capcom now and then..." I admitted, not lying about the ego part.
"So, since it is obvious you are not a game junkie, and incapable of playing such games, what brings you here? Wait, I know. Dance Dance Revolution, right?" I said with a giggle. "That is within your current abilities now."
Lol Damien... Just plan lol.
What? Did you seriously just pronounce 'lol' as a word?
Yeah, got a problem?

"Dance Dance Revolution? You mean that machine everyone's dancing on? I wouldn't know, I've never really tried. I haven't played a game in my entire life, not a video game anyway. Just Soccer and a few other basic games. I almost played a video game once.... but I was tired so I went to bed...." He was referring to Alaska when he first got there and his room mate was Riley. Riley was more into video games, him and Reira both. He himself couldn't really grasp the concept. He would rather be fighting or exercising where you get a real reward for what you do, and a real risk.
Matrim looked over to the DDR machines, and laughed, "Although I don't think that machine will take credit.... I'm mostly just walking around and exploring. I saw you and thought I'd see what you were up to. We don't really know much about each other after all."
Matrim was curious about the kid, mostly since he didn't know much about him, "So Damien Kross, or Jester. I think I like Jester better, seems more like a nick name or something. I'm afraid I don't have the pleasure of having one of those." All he's ever had were crappy code names from secretive gangs, Blue for enforcement squad, and Ra for visions. Aside from that he had never had a nick name, didn't want one. But he liked the name Jester, so he'd call him that.
"So, how does this Dance Dance Revolver thing work?"

Dance Dance Revolver? What the-?
"Naw man, Dance Dance Revolution..." I facepalmed, but smiled through it, showing I meant nothing bad by it. "You get on the platform, select a song, and a bunch of arrows crawl up the screen. When they hit a certain area, you need to step on the corresponding arrow square. When it gets fast enough, it makes you look like you're dancing." I explained the game, watching in the distance as someone got on the machine and started a game.
'You should give it a try dude. Maybe it will earn you a nickname." I gave him a wink, trying to convince him to try it out. "It could be fuuuuuun~."

"You know what, maybe I will give it a try," Matrim said and then looked down at his hands, and over at Jester, and then after a few rounds of this said, "Do you mind paying for me? 'Fraid I can't really pull my wallet or handle coinage very well in my current state. If you're afraid I won't pay you back I can assure you I can and will."
Matrim was rich, incredibly rich. But he didn't carry his wallet around with him as of late. Not since he couldn't reach and grab the wallet himself, and if someone pick pocketed him it'd be all too easy for them. So he didn't risk his precious black card, his metallic beauty to get taken from someone. Of course, that might help him make the minimum yearly spending that came with it.
Matrim would walk over to the machine and wait for the kid who was currently on it to be done. If Jester agreed to pay Matrim would be nice and wait for the kids turn to be done before getting off. If Jester didn't agree to pay, he would simply kick the kid off of the machine mid-song and begin dancing. After all, it couldn't be all that hard..... could it?
Techno music... not half bad...
