Sara sipped on the coffee. Of course she added more sugar. There could never be enough sugar in coffee. This all sounded very intriguing, but could already feel the familiar tightness in her chest at having agreed to this. She was really wondering if she was going to regret her decision. Her leg continued to bounce up and down under the table, a sign of her stress. She tried hard to hide it, but it was only going to last for so long. She looked over across the table at Rem. She was guessing he was going to lead this little group. She smirked, wondering how long it would be until she went off the rocker at him. She had an extreme problem with people in authority over her. One small push was all it would take, one toe over the line.
She didn't really care about the hierarchy of Militia. It made no difference to her, she wasn't a part of the group, and proudly so. But the moment she heard disbanded she paused. Disband them? Did he want them to help him disband Militia? If that was the case... She was so there~Join a group to bring down another one... and then she could bring down this one~~Two groups with one psycho. Oh wow, she just called herself a psycho... That was a first. Nice~ She tried to hide her thoughts. She regretted having them, it wasn't something she wanted to do, and would, in all likely hood, not do that to the group. She looked at the others sitting around the table. No. She wouldn't do that to them... Unless things turned sour of course~
When he started talking again she tried very hard to concentrate on what he was saying. She felt herself sigh. Seemed that wasn't going to be how it was anyways, so there was nothing to worry about. In a way, that was a relief. In another way, it was a shot to her anger again.
"That's where you three come in. Our 'Plan C'"
"What exactly do you want us to do then? You're not going to disband Militia?"

"What exactly do you want us to do then? You're not going to disband Militia?"
At that, Rem pondered. He would then laugh. His voice would be dark, sinister and malevolent even.
"All in due time... Sara. For now, just know that I do need your services...and your loyalty. I'm prepared to do whatever it is to gain them."
He glanced toward James, then Andy and finally on Sara. He would wait to hear all of their takes on the subject.

Andy heard James' reply and nodded. This was not out of dismissal, rather it was out of necessity, for he had begun to quaff his coffee heartily. Yes, the rich aroma and the sensational taste poured into his stomach. The whole time that Rem was talking, Andy had been sipping. However, he had heard what Rem was planning and the whole background about the "Militia". Plan C. The plan sounded alright, however issues would occur if the possibility that all three generals were forming groups would be troublesome. He wasn't strong enough to support someone with strength, and he wasn't exactly chummy with Rem, a student whom he had recently met.
"What exactly do you want us to do then? You're not going to disband Militia?"
Ah- Sara had answered his lingering question. If the former leader had asked for disbandment of the Militia, then normally, it should be followed. If Militia was a group which focused on upholding structure when the Pillars fell, then obviously the leader wouldn't have been an idiot. He would have planned for something to go wrong and prepared his departure accordingly. The key word here would have been, "ambition." Andrew didn't enjoy the idea of ambition, as well as the concept of power struggle itself, but ambition drove many men to commit such deeds. He would put his toe in the water first.
Slouching in his chair as he watched the others discuss, Andy continued sipping his coffee. Heh...Militia huh? Sounded pretty tough.
"All in due time... Sara. For now, just know that I do need your services...and your loyalty. I'm prepared to do whatever it is to gain them."
Rem definitely seemed like the type of guy who would be prepared to go far for his beliefs. Andy didn't hold that against him- after all, one who stands up for his beliefs will end up being a strong supporter. Unfortunately, Andy didn't trust the whole scenario too much. Leaders were leaders, however the followers could end up being the ones who suffer the most. Andrew's eyes narrowed slightly then widened again. If such a serious action were to take place within the school grounds or involve other students in it, then things would turn ugly. Very ugly. Hopefully, this wouldn't happen and the groups could negotiate through talks. Placing the empty cup down with a slight 'tink' sound, he sat up and leaned forward slightly. Taking a moment to look at Sara before speaking, Andrew began his response.
"Rem. The situation seems to be nice and all, however I feel a bit uneasy. Normally, if you are contending for the right to lead the <Militia>, then you're going to have to face some obstacles, such as the other generals. From observing what happens around this school, I feel that this dispute probably won't be settled through talks and support. And...you said you'd do anything for our loyalty, right? I'm sorry if this question is a bit intrusive and off topic, but- how are the other two generals? Personality and ambition wise?"

"Good question," James said, waiting for a response. He was alright with whatever. Quite frankly it wasn't like he had any plans to get strong. He was happy with where he was at, but if this group would ensure that things had a fail safe, that they could keep things the way they were, he would join it. He wouldn't be beating up people, when it came down to it he probably wouldn't fight. But he was all for talking and influencing others to stop fighting. And he could take a few hits if he had to.
But mostly, he liked the idea of being in a cool group like this. Even if Rem seemed to be the fighting type. That just meant that James didn't have to be all macho, Rem could do that for him. He'd just have to know when to stop Rem from using brute force is all. But so far, he could tell that Rem showed better judgment. At least, he hoped he could. He didn't know the guy completely.
And more importantly, who are these other generals. And how do we know they aren't doing the exact same thing as Rem. Seems like a complete internal war might be going on here. Not that it matters to me of course, I'll just pop the pop corn, rally the troops, watch and make sure nobody gets seriously hurt.

Hmmmm...
"Good question."
Correction. Very good question. Rem leaned back in his chair and rested his left leg on his right knee and pondered.
"Leadership of Militia isn't my goal. Honestly, I hope to be the leader of my own organization. I was willing to stick with Militia until that happened, but circumstances have forced me to move plans up quite a bit. My own organization, and getting Militia back on track. The two seem to have coincided."
He looked at the three of them and offered a slight smile.
"But to answer you question, Andy... the other two are called Gabriel Seran and Emily Delos Santos. Gabriel is an idealist, a dreamer who believes in the fairy tale that unity and friendship and rainbows and flowers is what makes the world go around. He's a capable fighter, I think any one of us could take him down should we need to. I've already defeated him once.
The bitterness in his voice was barely masked.
"Emily... is my kid sister. She's all googly-eyed over "Unfettered" and follows his ideals. I'm afraid she doesn't have much of an opinion other than what her morals...and Unfettered tells her to do... with regards to Militia, of course. Strength-wise, she's the former Captain of #259. She's no pushover in a fight. I've managed to beat her twice, and that's only because my fighting experience far outweighs hers."

Sara listened to the questions and Rems answers with interest. She had faught Emily once before. And lost. Pretty badly if she recalled correctly. Which she unfortunatly did. But how long ago had that been? If Rem could beat Emily, and Sara had a fair chance against Rem, then at this point, Sara had a much better chance fighting Emily then she did the first time. The facts just proved it. And with incentive, ya, she could definatly win.
Gabriel Seran on the other hand... She had fought against recently. It had been a draw, but she had held her own in that fight and had a good chance of winning had it continued. He had taken just as much, if not more damage then she had. She agreed with Rem though... His ideals... The talk of the school with no pillars or gangs... As much as Sara hated authority, she had to admit that it just wasn't going to happen that way.
She looked from Andy to James. Both had potential, but probably wouldn't last 5 minutes with Emily and Gabriel at this point. A little more time though, and that would change. But all this thinking... Why was she even considering this? She sighed, leaning forward again, getting herself involved in the conversation once more.
"So this is all about... getting us to join your new organization? And what exactly do you plan to do with Militia, if not lead it? Do you plan on taking out the other two? Emily and Gabriel?" She smirked, radiating the fact that she knew she could take them both no problem... And would probably enjoy it. ~God, she was getting violent <3~

"So this is all about... getting us to join your new organization? And what exactly do you plan to do with Militia, if not lead it? Do you plan on taking out the other two? Emily and Gabriel?"
Rem chuckled.
"Taking them out does not fall into my current plans. No. More like surveillance."

Holy geez wow Emily is his sister? Wait.... what? Oh crap... I better withhold my comments on how I feel about that. Especially with him knowing where I sleep at night....
"Yeah.... ok," He said after listening to everyone talk, "Can I just say real quick that if it ever came to fighting someone or some group. If it ever came down to physically fighting I'm not your guy. I can be the guy who plans, drinks cocoa, and takes a hit or two to protect people. Even throw a punch once in a blue moon to protect someone. But if we are targeting people, taking people out for the greater good.... then I'll leave that to you guys and I just won't get in the way. But just don't ask me to initiate a fight, ok Rem?"
He was a pacifist to an extent. It was true, Rem would probably remember that while James could understand Rems fighting those other guys, James himself wouldn't fight unless he was forced to. Like on the roof when he would have otherwise gone off the side of the building, the guy talking him following after.

Rem considered James' requirements, nodding briskly after a few seconds' contemplation.
"Understood. I don't think you'll have to worry about me asking you to fight someone. However... I need to know that if you're targeted, you will fight back."

The coffee had become cold as it lay forgotten beside his arm. Andy listened quietly to the others' questions and the responses which Rem gave them. So far, based off of the questions and responses, the plan seemed benign. Or non-hazardous. Whichever fit the context better. However, there was some uneasiness going on here- some uncomfortable karma floating beside their table.
Gabriel, fighter with some experiences, however can be defeated if need be. If this "Gabriel" individual was actually a general, that probably meant he was not a pushover either. Better watch out for this guy, whoever he is.
"Emily... is my kid sister. She's all googly-eyed over "Unfettered" and follows his ideals. I'm afraid she doesn't have much of an opinion other than what her morals...and Unfettered tells her to do... with regards to Militia, of course. Strength-wise, she's the former Captain of #259. And this girl was no pushover either. They both had some degree of experience, and they were probably somewhat charismatic as well. Maybe. It was too rash to judge from simple descriptions- and bias which one might view them in. And...Rem would not take them out. And...he wanted to run his own organization. Hmm....interesting. Andy contemplated this issue as he drank his now cold coffee. It tasted oddly bitter, perhaps it was from being cold. He continued listening as James put forth a question as well. Ah- it was about their safety and potential danger in joining.
"Understood. I don't think you'll have to worry about me asking you to fight someone. However... I need to know that if you're targeted, you will fight back." The answer was nice to hear. At least he could assure himself that the group wouldn't go around picking fights and becoming thugs like...well...those which shove others into lockers. E tu Brutus?
So far, so good. He approved of Rem's intentions so far, however as the leader, Rem would need to seriously get his promises to become reality. He remained silent for a minute or two. Well, a new experience wouldn't hurt....right?
"Sure Rem, it sounds alright. I'm in for it. For the time being."

"Taking them out does not fall into my current plans. No. More like surveillance."
Well that was... Different. But it could interesting. She liked the sound of being a spy. What could be more interesting then that?! She remembered as a kid, that she had always dreamed of being a spy, living a life of danger and excitement. Well now was her chance!
And then James had to ruin it with his no fight stuff... Well that was fine, she could handle the dangerous parts~! She would protect James! And of course her little Andy~ Couldn't forget about Andy!
She liked Rems comment. It was important to know that James would fight back, and then Andy chirped in with his agreement to the whole matter. Well good. Now that it was all settled...
"If James is worried about the fighting, I can handle it~" She winked, and let out a laugh. She was always more then happy to engage in a fight, whether she would win or lose. And as Rem had seen, she didn't give up either. It was even more like that when it concerned her friends. She had troubles with loyalty in the way that she couldn't seem to keep her promises, but she would defend them if there was a problem.
"So... I guess my next question is, when do we start?" Her excitement at the matter was readily apparent.

"I won't let anyone seriously injure me or kill me if that's what you're getting at. I'll defend myself, you don't have to worry about that," James said, "But since Sara seems so enthusiastic I'm sure she can also be there as insurance. And if not, trust me when I say I can and will defend myself if it is absolutely necessary. And I will fight to defend others if it is necessary. Just.... I won't like it."
He sighed and shrugged, "Other then that. I'm in, same as everyone else here."
He wasn't exactly the most enthusiastic person. He'd join the group and he'd do whatever it was Rem had planned. But the simple fact was, he was just doing this to ensure that the worst would not happen. That if bad things took place he would be there to do something about it.

"Sure Rem, it sounds alright. I'm in for it. For the time being."
Rem's eyes narrowed, but his lips curved into a snark, one-sided grin.
"If James is worried about the fighting, I can handle it~ So... I guess my next question is, when do we start?"
The grin widened. Sara was indeed tenacious, and strong. She would prove to be a great asset.
"I won't let anyone seriously injure me or kill me if that's what you're getting at. I'll defend myself, you don't have to worry about that. But since Sara seems so enthusiastic I'm sure she can also be there as insurance. And if not, trust me when I say I can and will defend myself if it is absolutely necessary. And I will fight to defend others if it is necessary. Just.... I won't like it. Other then that. I'm in, same as everyone else here."
He leaned back into his chair and took a sip of his now-cold coffee, spewing it back into the cup, not because it was cold, but, as he'd told Sara, he really didn't acquire a taste for coffee.
"That's good to hear, James. Andy, your cooperation is greatly appreciated. And Sara... heh, I'm glad I can count on you. As far as to when you start, the answer is right now. So that we know our roles in this, let me explain. Sara is to engage whichever target I instruct her to. As I said, for now, its simply, observation. Andy, you and James just keep your ears open for anything gang-related, be it Militia, the Dragons or the Reapers. I will work from inside Militia to ensure its structure. I will text you all of your orders as they come. I don't think that I have to tell you all that the success of this little group relies heavily on its secrecy. That being said..."
He gave the group a dark smile and rest his palms flat on the table, sending an ever so tiny electric charge through it, just enough give each of them a slight static shock.
"...I trust that you'll know what happens should this get out..."
He didn't say it threateningly, but the eerie calmness of his tone would speak volumes.
"Now all that's left is to give ourselves a name."
