Once again, as it seemed to be every week, I found myself in a local smoothie shop, awaiting the School Captain, the Bone Dragon, the Queen Bitch of the Universe- Linda Osako. Due to her not-so-secret love of smoothies, I always chose a smoothie shop when business needed to be talked.
All I sent her was a single text message, saying "Jamba Juice, 3:00." There was only one Jamba Juice in the area, so finding it wouldn't be hard. Plus, Linda was smart enough to locate me... Kinda like a sixth sense.
The business we needed to go over wasn't Pillar related... Nope, this was of a much more... dire measure.
You think she'll go for it?
I hope so. If she can't do it, we'll have to ask Kate... And I don't wanna do that.

Linda found herself in yet another smoothie shop, why? By request of course. Mr.Kross, aka The Jester, had requested her presence via text message. Strange... what was the point of this meeting? Surely Damien could have just called her, but no he insisted on meeting in person.
Linda entered the Jamba Juice, on time, there was no point in making Damien wait. She scanned the area and quickly found her spiffy dressed friend. She walked over and took a set across from him.
"Ello moto, what's up?" Linda asked with her infamous giggle.

I smirked as I saw the Bone Dragon approach, taking a drag off my Pineapple smoothie. Once again, we would find ourselves in a cozy smoothie shop- though it usually means that there is something to be asked.
"Ello moto." I replied. "Well, I don't want to tip-toe through the goddamn tulips, so I'm just gonna get straight to why I wanted to talk to you."
Here it goes.
"I need money-" I said simply. "-to build a new Jester's Court."

"Money... How much are we talking Mr.Kross?" Linda asked leaning even more onto the table.
Apparently Damien knew about Linda having come into some money lately. *cough* Drug Trafficking *cough* Hell what was the harm in helping a friend out? Plus, Damien's court could have its uses...

"Lots." I said simply. "I am investing some myself. Some from Ricardo." I referred to my mentor. "Some from my parents, which they think is for furniture." I paused. "But, lies aside, the majority of it will come from you. I woul update you on cost as the planning progresses... As I'm sure you know, marble, gunpowder, and elaborate traps do weigh quite heavily on one's bank account..." I chucked.

"Ugh... you leach!" Linda sighed...
"Just kidding... sorta... Anyway I can get you like fifteen grand tomorrow. Once you use that up just cellphone me. However!" Linda gave a long and dramatic pause. "I will need you to keep me up to date on the status of your lil... operation. Okies?"
