Sara closed her locker door and started to head outside. She had decided to skip the next class. There was nothing going on and she could better spend the time studying or doing her homework, which she was falling further and further behind with. So she picked up her bag which she had left at her feet and walked down the short hall to the door. She was glad her locker was so close to the exit. That made skipping easier <3
She pushed through the door and walked outside. It was cool and cloudy. It wasn't supposed to rain or anything, but the sun wasn't going to come out much either. She liked that, it reminded her of being back home. She wasn't a fan of the sun, and it was nice to have a cloudy day every now and again. And she had chosen a turtle neck sweater thing today to, so she wasn't extremely cold. She was getting used to wearing these things, although she really missed her tank tops. But it was easier now that her burn wasn't catching on the fabric of the sweater... A lot easier.
Sara's gaze searched the nearly empty courtyard, and she headed towards the benches. She was glad it was quiet. She might actually get some work done today. She was feeling very optimistic ~ She could do this <3 She dropped her bag onto the table and slid onto the seat, as she unzipped it. As she stared into the bag, debating pulling the books out she found herself fidgeting. This... probably wasn't going to work. The events of the past few days, like her break up, had her mind on overdrive, and she just couldn't concentrate. She was to antsy, her mind and body full of energy she didn't know what to do with. Maybe she should set up a time schedule for this... starting with breaks~ She sat back and pulled a pop from her bag. Just what she needed. Caffeine.

Nick was laying on a bench in the courtyard today, staring up at the sky, watching the clouds and birds and whatnot pass by. The music thumped ever so silently in his head, as he was wanting to relax instead of actually listening to the music. He really had to stop ditching class and wasting the day away.
Then someone sat down at his bench. He was pretty well hidden, and the person probably thought they were alone at the table. Nick peered through the gap underneath the table to see the waistline and legs of a rather small girl. He smiled. It would make his day if he were to be able to scare the living shit out of her.
He turned off his music and put his headphones down around his neck. Then he slowly lifted himself so he was sitting upright, turning his head towards the girl, strange grin on his face.
"Hallo." he said in his home accent.

Sara took a gulp from the can of pop, and looked around licking her lips. It was quiet out here. Kinda weird considering the area was usually fairly busy even during class time. She squirmed in her seat taking another sip. Screw the sip, it was a gulp. She stared off towards the school practically chugging her drink. This was why she didn't drink alcohol to often. She had a really bad tendency to chug her drinks really fast. At this rate she was going to need another drink- WTH...
Sara spotted movement out of the corner of her eye. Her head turned quickly, the can not leaving her lips as she watched the guy sit up across from her. Her heart was practically pounding out her chest, her eyes wide. Let's just say Sara was a little paranoid of the people at this school, and a student she didn't know suddenly popping up in the seat across from her was no different.
"Hallo."
Sara slowly dropped the drink from her lips, her body tensed, expression suspicious. "Hello..." Her eyes flicked around her again, and she unconsciously leaned away from the table. Little bugger had scared her. "Ehe... Something I can help you with...?"

Nick was in the mood to be forward with this one.
"Oh, you're cute." he wooed in his accent. "You could help me by telling me your name."
Nick smiled slyly, eyes sparkling in the sunlight overhead. Small and innocent were the words that came to Nick's mind to describe her. She was definitely a cute one, Nick might have come off a little too strong.
Maybe that was a bit too forward...
He thought that him popping up and automatically beginning to flirt with her might scare her off.
"He he, sorry, I was just resting here when you came and sat down. I didn't mean to scare you." he said, scratching the back of his head embarrassingly.

Sara narrowed her eyes at him. He was an odd one alright. He went from being bluntly flirtatious to being embarrassed. She had to admit though... She liked his accent. She had a thing for accents. She wondered where he was from.
She leaned back towards the table, relaxing slightly. She could take him. No problem~ She guessed she had some time to play this game with him >3
She sent him a small, nervous smile. Everyone loved the shy girl~<3 "I'm Sara..." She tilted her head to the side, her expression confused and shy, as though she hadn't picked up on his flirting. "That's fine. You just caught me off guard... Surprised me."
She lifted her pop to her lips again. God she loved pop. Sweet, sweet, caffeine, what would she do without it~? She set her drink back licking her lips again, and smiled at him.
"I like your accent..." As she spoke she leaned over, looking under the table, and turned her gaze back to him questioningly. "What were you doing under the table?"

Nick laughed.
"I wasn't under the table, silly. I was just laying down on the bench; cloud gazing if that's what you want to call it."
He smiled at her. She was a shy one, and Nick now felt obligated to flirt the shy right out of her. That's just the kind of mood he was in.
"And I like my accent, too. I find it gives me more sex appeal." he said nonchalantly, like it was natural.
He leaned forward onto his elbows, and glared at her with large sparkling night blue eyes.
"Do you have any more soda? I love soda."

Oh this was fun~Sara leaned away from him. She was normally a shy person, but today was just one of those days where her mind was on overdrive, and she was itching for some sort of contact to keep her busy. She had to force the smile off her face as she listened to him. One wrong move on his part? And she was getting all~~ this physical tension out of her~<3 She continued to keep a confused but polite smile on her face
^__________^ Tee Hee~
"Do you have any more soda? I love soda."
She looked down at her pop can. No, she had no more soda. But this could be interesting~
.... God... She needed to get a life -_-" Ah well, as long as she was having fun~
"No... No more soda, but you can have some of this one...?" She held the can innocently out to him. MMM~ Indirect kiss~<3 Lets see how he reacts O____________________O >3

Nick took the soda can diligently, as he didn't really know this girl well even though he was flirting with her. He looked inside and there was still some soda in there, finishing it with one gulp.
"Thanks. I'm Nicolas by the way." remembering he forgot to introduce himself.
Great, Nick, take the girls soda without telling her your name first. Very gallant of you... No, wait, you can make this work...
He peered into the empty can with one eye.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I must have drank all the rest of your soda. How about you let me buy you another?"

"Oh, I'm sorry, I must have drank all the rest of your soda. How about you let me buy you another?"
She smiled at him, blushing softly. Wasn't she so cute~? However, the blush was real. She had to admit, it was nice of him to offer to buy her another drink.
"That's nice of you Nick... I appreciate that, but it's really not necessary..." She fidgeted in her seat, laughing nervously. Again, a real reaction.
Somehow... She had lost control of the situation. She didn't like taking things from other people, especially when money was involved, she didn't want to be rude either, but she wanted the drink. She wanted the drink bad.... =_=

He wouldn't let her get away from him this easily.
"No, no, I insist. Its really no big deal, it's just a soda."
He smiled at her slyly, leaning in closer to her. His smile then became more of an evil grin.
"What would be a big deal is if I asked if you were single and if you would want to go to dinner or a movie or something to that extent."
Nick said it as nonchalant as that sentence possibly could be, and awaited the priceless reaction that his new friend would have on her cute little face.

Under the table, Sara's fists clenched and shook. Her face took a blank expression. "What now?" Her voice lost all girlishness as she asked the question. He was a bold one, that was for sure. She had half a mind to knock his face in right there. And it would have felt good to~<3 But she didn't.
Sara knew she needed to learn to control her temper, and plus? If he was going to insist on buying her a new drink, then she was damn well going to get a new drink =_=
The blank expression lasted only for a second, before she smiled, blushing and giggling nervously, trying to pretend as though she hadn't picked up on it. "Aha... Ya, that would be kind of awkward wouldn't it~? But if you insist, I would love a drink!"
She reached, over, turning her face away from him to take a deep breath, and zipped up her bag. Ohhh, this guy was good =_=

Nick could tell that he was in control of the situation. Sara was embarrassed as hell and he could tell, no matter how much she tried to hide it. Nick just smiled his signature sly smile, and winked at her.
"Alright, lets go get you that soda then."
Nick got up from the table and waited for Sara to follow him.
"So answer me this; what would drive such a cute girl to go and sit by her lonesome?"
Nick thought it was a safe enough question to ask that still had some flirt in it, and told her that he was interested.

Sara picked up her bag, slinging it over her shoulder. Walking around the table she caught up to him, stepping into stride next to him. Out of the corner of her eye she watched him. What the hell was with this guy. Sara was very much used to being in control of the situation, and somehow, this guy had her all riled up. She should have hit him when she had the chance. This comment wasn't bad enough to warrant her anger. And Sara wasn't one to hit anyone without a damn good reason... Usually...
Maybe she should try another approach? She wondered how well he would pick up on a change of attitude. Maybe... more confident? A little cocky? Something to match his own attitude. A hint of flirt ~<3
"That's a good question~" A good question, as in, thanks for the compliment<3 "Well, you see~ This cute girl finds class to be completely boring. Now you answer me this. What would a charming guy like you, be doing chatting up a cute, lonely girl like me?"
.... Where were those pop machines *OwO <3* ?

Ooh, she called me charming!
She was also starting to catch on to his cocky, flirty attitude. All he had to do was continue to be more cocky and flirty than she was and he would win this little mind game. He could see out of the corner of his eye as they walked side by side, that she was tensing up. He was ready to dodge a quick smack to the side of the head if she tried to pull that sort of thing.
"Well I have no interest in learning things I already know. I can tell you're a smart one and you have no need for a lowly teacher to tell you fact from opinion, just like me." Nick said matter-of-factually, then raising his eyebrows and looking at her he continued, "So, whats the point in going to class, am I right cupcake?"
He thought that pet name would either piss her off or let him step ahead of the curve.

Well... He seemed pleased her comment. That was good. Better then him catching onto her little shy girl act and calling her on it. She was all tense though. She needed to calm down if she was going to win this.
And then came the pet name. Cupcake? Really now... cupcake?! Sara didn't think she had ever been given a pet name like that before. She had been called many things... Never cupcake. She turned her head up to him sending him a warning smile. Any more of that nonsense and he was going to see just what cupcake was capable of. The look she sent him said it all.
He was comparing her to him though. Putting them on the same level. Nice try. She had to say it again. He was good. But still not good enough.
She leaned to the side, her arms lifting to grasp around his arm, so she could cling to his arm like those couples in the movies. If he didn't move away or anything, she would smile up at him, her look still holding a hint of a threat. After the look she had sent him, she wondered if a little bit of physical contact would scare him. She would now have a hold of him. And thus a much better chance of landing an attack on him. It was time to make him squirm >3
"You know, you're absolutely right. Why can't more people be like us~?" He wasn't the only one who could put them on the same level. This was getting interesting. She had a feeling he knew he was playing the game though, and that he knew he was good at it. But he still had no idea who he was up against.
~Wow... Competitive Sara is competitive!~
