Jester posts first, then anyone else can join in.
Emily was outside of the School building, watching as students were leaving campus. It was raining, and she forgot to bring her umbrella. The white-haired girl figured that it would be best to wait until the rain died out, lest she wanted to run around San Francisco soaking wet.
With her tightly-clinging clothing? Not a chance.
She yawned, tired from the trials of the past 8 hours in school. All she wanted now was to go home -- but of course, the rain had to make it's entrance just before class ended.
What else could she do?
She waited.

I hate the fucking rain.
Simple statement, yet one so deep in meaning. I was like a cat- I couldn't stand getting wet... It was an annoyance. Luckily, gripped in my hand was an umbrella, eager to open it and shield myself from the beginning downpour.
I reached the front door and pushed it open, immediatly opening the umbrella and covering myself. With a smile, I took solace in my new sanctuary. However, a glance to my left showed me a poor sight.
Now I can't let that go...
Why? Finding a soul?
No. She's too damn pretty to be cold and wet.
Ugh... For a moment Jester, I thought you had a heart.
No Damien, me? Never.
"Hey, need a walking buddy?" I said to the girl, motioning with my umbrella. "Looks like you favor rain just about as much as I do."

Pitter-patter...
That was all what Emily heard for a while as she sat there by the stairs. She had huddled closer to the door as to make sure her feet wouldn't get wet by the rain. It was sort of upsetting that she forgot her umbrella now, of all days. Didn't even bring a coat.
Emily didn't have a dislike of the rain, though. She actually enjoyed the rain. Listening to the pitter-pattering of water on the ground relaxed her, even more so now since the rest of the school had already left at this time. In fact, she didn't expect the door to open and reveal a pillar.
After a short glance and not recognizing him to be anyone she knew at all, she looked forward and kept on watching.
"Hey, need a walking buddy? Looks like you favor rain just about as much as I do." He said, motioning with his umbrella. He was particularly tall, and wearing formal clothing. It wasn't often that she saw someone wearing something of the sort to school, though 259 had it's share of weirdos as well, so she didn't comment on it (it would be a hypocrisy if she did, because she was technically someone you could consider to be a weirdo as well.) She just smiled and replied, "I'm fine." she said, "I think I'm better off just waiting for the rain to pass."
An impractical answer, considering that the rain didn't look like it was going to stop within the hour.
Secretly, Emily was hoping an eye-patched German would stumble into the school for some reason. Waiting like this had already become a habit -- though only extended due to the rain.
Torn between wanting to go home to do homework and staying to wait for him. Not exactly a dilemma, but something she was helpless about.
"I think that umbrella wouldn't do a bit good in keeping you dry though. The rain's still quite heavy."

"Girl, if you wait for the rain to stop, you'll be an old woman by the time you crawl out from under there." I offered another grin. "Come on, a Pillar can't let a student suffer." He said, abusing the job description of a Pillar.
What if she just doesn't want to go? What if she's waiting for someone?
I hate 'what ifs' Damien... They bore me. They're a shabby excuse for trying to get out of something. That's not my style Damien dear.
What is your style then Jester?
Frontal assault.

"Girl, if you wait for the rain to stop, you'll be an old woman by the time you crawl out from under there." He said, grinning. At this point, Emily thought he made sense.
She sighed. "Come on, a Pillar can't let a student suffer."
Emily just smiled and stood up. Well, not like he would just stumble into the school in this rain.
... or maybe he would. Emily wouldn't know, really. She wasn't psychic like Layla. Then again, Layla wasn't that sort of Psychic. "Alright." She said, smiling. "If my hunch is correct, you're the Head of the School Newspaper?"
Yeah. He was the only pillar she hadn't met yet. Therefore, until today, he was a total mystery to the ex-captain. This was a wonderful opportunity to get to know this person, even by a bit with the slightly selfish and insensitive purpose of gathering more information, but then again; information is a good thing to have.
