Emily smiled at the two, not really noticing Emi's slight show of jealousy and defiance. She was quite impressed, actually. Not a lot of females had that trait in them.
Herself included.
She wondered if "Unfettered" was into those sort of girls. He probably was, considering Bastille's effect on him.
She stood up and picked up the Bully-girl. She was going to take her to the clinic then have her wear some of Layla's costumes. Well, it was the only thing available that Emily knew of. Guess she would have to swim later in the afternoon where there were lesser people. "Sorry you two, but I believe I have to take care of Ms. Tough girl. I would have to go for a swim some other time." She said, "Text me later in the evening, Ryuu. We'll discuss how we'll get into your training. Ja mata ashita." She said, smiling as she walked off with the girl on her back.
She would train Ryuu personally.
After all, it was one of the reasons why Militia existed.

Emi crawled over to the pool's edge and sat down with her feet dangling in the water. She was at least half a foot away from Ryuu; close enough to hold a conversation but far enough to keep her distance. Something about that Emily girl made her want to stay away from Ryuu. It was hard to imagine that he would have a girlfriend or anything female friends. Actually, it never really crossed her mind until today. Now that she met Emily, she decided that she wasn't into Ryuu talking to other girls.
She was glad that Emily mentioned that she had to take care of the girl. However, her good mood disappeared as quickly as it had come hearing her mention that she would text Ryuu later. Even Emi didn't text Ryuu on a daily basis. They never even got to talking on the phone. Emi was thinking about contacting him, but she decided that if he really wanted to talk to her, then it would be best just to wait until his call or text message came.
Even after Emily left, she still couldn't feel comfortable around Ryuu. Actually, she was feeling very mad and jealous, which made her feel a little ashamed at the same time. Finally, she sighed before pulling her feet out of the pool and standing up.
"Atashi iku."(I'm going.)
She walked over to her fold-out chair and grabbed her beach towel. After that was wrapped around her securely, she opened up a bag she brought along and began to make sure that everything was there.

Although Ryuu had his back facing Emily, he saw from the corner of his eye her smile at the two of them, as he saw Emi crawl over to the edge of the pool and sit down with her feet dangling in the water. Although she was at least half a foot away from him, they wre close enough to talk, but far enough that he could tell right away she was keeping her distance from him. Ryuu then turned his head to look behind him when he saw Emily stand up and pick up the blond girl, who was still knocked out, obviously. "Sorry you two, but I believe I have to take care of Ms. Tough girl. I would have to go for a swim some other time." She said, "Text me later in the evening, Ryuu. We'll discuss how we'll get into your training. Ja mata ashita." Ryuu nodded his head, returning the smile Emily sent him, as he waved bye to her as she walked off with the girl on her back. "Will do boss." he replied, though he felt a little bit uncomfortable, since Emi didn't know that he and Emily were friends, being in Militia and all, and she just asked him to text her later.
He and Emi never even talked on the phone, less text each other on a daily basis. He wanted to call Emi, but he hadn't found the time to call, since he had been pretty busy lately. Even after Emily left, Ryuu could feel the tension in between the two of them, as he carefully stared into empty space, the silence was killing him, he heard her sigh, as he finally spoke. "Ah... How have..." "Atashi iku. (I'm going.)" "...You been..." He saw her pull her feet out of the water and and walk over to her fold-out chair and grab the beach towel that had been on it, and wrapped it around her, and then opened up the bag she had brought and looked through it, as Ryuu looked behind him at her, staring at her, before sighing quietly, and pulled his feet out of the water, and walked over to the chair that had his bag on it, and pulled out the towel he had brought with him, and began to dry himself off, before wrapping the towel around his waist, and pulled on his shirt. "Ah, if you're going," he said, slinging his bag over his shoulder, "I'll walk you out then? Since I'm going as well."
Ryuu may be able to evaluate a person's fighting ability, but when it came to recognizing how a person was feeling, especially a female, he was just as bad as any other guy. He didn't know Emi was feeling very mad and jealous, though he had a slightly hunch she wasn't very happy with him, which bewildered him slightly, he didn't know if he did something wrong or not. "... If I did something wrong," he began, as he walked over to her, his sandals clacking against the floor, "I'm sorry...?" He had a look of complete puzzlement on his face, he didn't know what the heck he did wrong, but he knew it was better to apologize then not apologize at all. Something he learned from having to deal with his sister.

"Iya, sonnanoshinakutteiiyo(No, you don't have to do such a thing)." The mask that hid her real features fell, revealing Emi's true feelings. Frustration and annoyance was laced in her voice as she spoke to him, and her whole body was sore, as if she took a hard beating. Her feelings burned through her body and showed through her jerky movements as she organized her bag. She lowered her head so that her dripping hair could cover the wild look in her eyes.
"Mou, ayamaranakutteiindakedo(You don't have to apologize to me)."
She slung her bag over her shoulder and rudely pushed past Ryuu. As her fingers brushed against her skin, she could feel the heat in her body. Keeping her gaze forward, she quickened her pace and left the pool area.

"Iya, sonnanoshinakutteiiyo (No, you don't have to do such a thing)." Ryuu looked utterly bewildered at this, because he could hear the frustration and annoyance laced in her voice, and while Ryuu felt bad, the problem was, Ryuu had absolutely no idea what it was he was suppose to feel bad about, he had no idea this was all caused because he and Emily knew each other, but she was his boss, and he was her subordinate in the gang Militia. He continued to look at Emi completely bewildered as she organized her bag, but her movements were jerky and her head was lowered, her hair covering her eyes, and Ryuu was unable to see her eyes, which was probably for the best, seeing as she had wild look in her eyes, one that would probably want to make guys start gibbering nonsense and possibly run away and hide underneath their blankets with their teddy bears.
"Mou, ayamaranakutteiindakedo (You don't have to apologize to me)."
Ryuu saw her sling her bag over her shoulder and push past him rudely, as the look of shock on Ryuu's face, while it would be hilarious, was not so comical at this moment. As he felt her fingers brush against his skin, he felt the heat in his body, but continued to keep silent, his gaze following Emi as he saw her keep her gaze forward and quicken her pace, leaving the pool area. As soon as she was gone, Ryuu kicked his foot forward in frustration. "Damn it..." He muttered under his breath, as he began to walk out of the pool area, following after Emi. Although he was still clueless as to why Emi was mad at him, he made a note to himself to text Emily about starting his training later, as he left the pool area.
