Why was it that jumping jacks always makes you feel lame? That's an understatement, Elmira thought as she joined her P.E. class in unison as they bobbed up and down, opening and closing their arms and legs. A couple of guys from another P.E. class hung around the gym entrance, laughing to themselves as they kept their eyes on a few girls. "Yeah!" one shouted, "You DO those jumping jacks, ladies!" The two seemed to think they were hysterical. Elmira imagined their excitement was due to the girls' jiggling, bouncing breasts, which were noticeable even through the P.E. uniforms. Not all of them had particularly large, juicy melons, which would have set off Elmira immediately, but there was enough chest meat to move around and grab interest.
The gym teacher dismissed the class, telling them to run a lap around the field and then pick up a ball to start a sport.
"Ha... BALLS," the other kid snickered.
As the class made their way outside, Elmira overheard one of the girls complain, "Ugh, I hate those stupid jumping jacks. My boobs hurt like a bitch."
"I know, right?" another agreed. "It's hard just to keep them staying in your bra! I was afraid they were going to pop out the entire time."
Oh no! I feel so bad for you! Elmira thought, adjusting the strap on her own brassiere. However, being flat-out rude was not going to get people to come to her party, and these chicks seemed pretty popular. Popular kids were most in demand for her party. So she approached them and suggested in a friendly manner, "Maybe you should try a sports bra."
"I already have one, and it doesn't help as much as I want it to..."
"Really? I feel weird changing bras in the locker room. I just keep my normal one on the whole time."
"I wear a cami under my shirt. It has a built in bra, plus I have my other bra."
"That's a good idea," Elmira commented, not really interested in bra talk. "Anyway, what are you guys doing Friday night? I'm having a huge beach party, free booze and everything."
"Oh, we're going to my boyfriend's concert this Friday. It's his band's first gig in like, three months."
"Cool. You guys can all stop by afterward."
"Uh... no thanks. We'll probably have a private after party with the band members and other people from the show."
"Just bring everyone to my party! There'll be plenty of drinks and music, and tons of people. It's going to be sick."
"Okay, no offense, but I don't even know you. I said no thanks, and you keep trying to push it. Learn when to back off."
Now Elmira was pissed off. Damn, I was being nice, and she just turned into a bitch. How do you handle a situation like this? Elmira did by grabbing the girl in the back of her head, clutching onto her hair, and shoving her face into the ground.

Not having ever been viewed as the most voluptuous or drool-worthy of girls, Kanika had never learned to feel odd doing jumping jacks. She was rather well strapped down, thanks to the combination of the sports bra and the overall tiny size of her chest. And for her, gym was it's own reward. Fun work, good exercise, and a decent sweat. It just felt good period. Which was why she was quick to run her lap. Actually run it. It tired her out really quickly, but she'd been working on endurance for soccer and baseball anyway.
Which was why she hadn't realized anything about the fight breaking out.
"Oi!" Kanika was over in an instant, forgetting her momentary lack of breath. She knelt down, and grabbed the rather pissed girl from behind to pull her off the victim. Seriously, why were girls so easy to piss off in this school? The guys were far more docile.

Nick reclined in the bleachers as he watched the Physical Education activities unfold on this beautiful day. Yes, you could consider it ogling, spying, peeping, etc., but Nick had another word for it: Sunbathing. He was a sunbather who happened to enjoy ditching class sometimes to soak in the rays, listen to some tunes, and watch the girls run. Unlike some other boys who were shouting obscenities at the girls while they did their jumping jacks, Nick observed from afar, relaxing in the midday heat.
Just as he was about to close his eyes and drift off into a wonderfully warm nap, Nick heard a shout that caught his attention.
"Oi!"
He saw a rather lanky girl with purplish hair run towards a commotion. Upon further concentration, Nick could make out a figure he knew driving a girls face into the shining pavement.
It was Elmira.
Nick got up with a startled jump and booked it towards the fight which seemed was about to break out. Not only did he like to watch fighting, but he loved to watch two girls beat the shit out of each other.

Elmira felt herself being pulled off the poor girl, whose face was rather bruised and bleeding. What the hell? she thought. Teachers don't usually get involved in this kind of shit. They don't care if we fight. Her head spun around, and she realized the arms tugging her away belonged to that of a fellow student. Before she could react any more, her recent opponent's friends dragged their injured buddy away, talking about going to the nurse and calling a parent. Ugh. Now they're going to fucking tattle.
She averted her gaze to those who had surrounded her. A few students she didn't know seemed interested, but she could care less. Then she spotted a familiar face. "Nick! Nick, did you see that whore?! Fucking chickened out!" She breathed a bit heavily, obviously still caught up in what had happened, and didn't seem to be trying to calm down or contemplate the trivial nature of the violence instigator.
Her gray eyes shifted to the person who first attempted to break the fight, if the one move could be considered an entire battle. "And what the hell do you think you're doing?!" she shouted, throwing a punch toward her, aiming at her temple. This 'hero' girl wasn't the type that Elmira normally got jealous of; she wasn't Barbie-esque in appearance, and she probably wasn't a selfish snot, or else she would not have went out of her way to help. However, Elmira was not in a clear thinking state of mind, with her anger about the incident still fresh, and the fact that she didn't get to finish her fight made this new student a target. The accuracy in her swing was not strong, so the girl could easily dodge it, but Elmira had another prepared.

The girl had really gotten worked up. She was even bragging to somebody off somewhere. A guy. Go figure. It was high school. Things had gotten out of hand in a single moment. Thankfully, she'd actually managed to pull the offender off. Matrim would be thankful. The pillars couldn't stop every fight with just the four of them. So she'd help, of course. It was the right thing to do. That girl was now getting shoved off to the infirmary with a based-up face. Who knew what would have happened if it kept going.
"And what the hell do you think you're doing?!"
Kanika's body twisted around to get the punch to pass by her, gritting her teeth. She should have seen the retaliation coming. The girl was a total hot-head. And unfortunately for herself, she knew she didn't have the straight-up strength to deal with this. What she did have was a stable mind, calm even in this situation. While the girl's arm was extended form the punch, Kanika grasped the wrist, and twisted her whole body around, using her open hand to push on the girl's elbow. While she wasn't nearly as strong, the threat of snapping the elbow backwards was enough to coax a body into moving to avoid such a situation. And as the girl's body would be in motion, she'd twist the arm down suddenly and push, making the body follow the arm, shoving the girl into the ground. Kanika would kneel down, using the girl's shoulder blade as a point to rest her body weight while she continued to hold the arm in it's twisted position.

What Nick saw when he got to the crowd that had now formed was horrible. The girl who had gotten her face driven into the ground was dragged away all bloody and disfigured.
What the hell did she do to piss Elmira off that much? Nick thought even though he knew she had a short temper.
She was looked at her bystanders when her gaze met his.
"Nick! Nick, did you see that whore?! Fucking chickened out!"
Then Elmira's gaze shifted to the maroon haired girl that was trying to break up the fight.
"And what the hell do you think you're doing?!"
Oh, shit. This isn't good.
Elmira was obviously still full of adrenaline from the first fight and wasn't done yet. She threw a punch at the girl.
Oh no, this girl doesn't look like she can hold her own.
Nick was wrong as the girl caught the punch and twisted Elmira onto the ground.
"Both of you stop!" Nick shouted as he ran into the fight, "Elmira, she didn't do anything to you!"

"Elmira, she didn't do anything to you!"
"Oh really?!" Elmira grumbled loudly, feeling herself pinned to the floor with her arm in some kind of twist. She did not understand the logic to the move, but it seemed that if she jolted or turned in the wrong way, it would be devastatingly painful. Despite her eagerness for a fight, physical pain was not something Elmira tolerated very well. Plus, she didn't have the brains for this type of combat- she acted on impulse rather than on intellect. "It sure LOOKS like she did something to me. It FEELS like she did something to me. Besides, she let that brat get away."
Finding it difficult to break free, Elmira tried extending a leg, sweeping it under in attempt to make a swift low kick toward the girl, perhaps creating a chance for her to escape this trap.

"I'm simply restraining her until she calms down." Kanika continued to hold the girl at a rather uncomfortable position, applying pressure to the elbow until it was tightly locked and almost backwards. She squirmed a little, even trying to kick, but with her on the ground, a kick was going to amount to piddly squat. Plu, with all her weight on the girl's shoulder, if she squirmed too much, she'd feel her shoulder being separated slightly. It wasn't inescapable, but it was pretty secure.
"Now... Have you calmed down?"

The maroon haired girl had her in a painful looking lock. She didn't look strong, but she seemed to know ways of incapacitating people. Elmira was struggling to break free.
"I'm simply restraining her until she calms down."
Nick look at the entanglement of the two girls and noticed that the girl he didn't know was cute. In a "I'm going to fold you up into a human pretzel" way, but cute nonetheless. He would have introduced himself and began to flirt, but now wasn't the time or the situation for her to interact back.
Anyways, it didn't look like Elmira was getting out of this one with out calming down as the girl suggested.

Elmira took a deep breath, slowly allowing the air to fill her lungs and slip out of her mouth. She let her body go limp, no longer fighting back. Her shoulders already hurt pretty badly as it was, and she saw that tossing about was not going to solve her problem. She had no choice but to give in. "Fine. I'm sorry. Now can you let me go?" She lied still, showing that she would not resist anymore. It seemed to be a very sudden change for her, going from squirming and shouting one second and acting calm and defeated the next, yet she was not stupid enough to struggle in a one-sided battle. (( OOC edit: I had said I'd post the party thread in all the threads I've been in so far. Here it is. ^^ ))

Kanika let go of the arm. She wasn't heartless. She just wanted to keep everyone safe, after all. Then she got up, making sure not to put any more weight on the shoulder she'd been focusing herself on during the hold. And when she got up, she held out a hand to the girl, to help her up as well. She was a good sport, after all.
"Let me help you up. No hard feelings, yeah?" She even smiled a little.
((Stupidly short, forgive me.))

(( No worries. My last one was fairly short, too. ^^; ))
Elmira gratefully stood up, taking the hand that was offered to her and clasping onto it tightly. She dusted herself off with her free hand, even quickly running through the hair outside of her tight headband. A smirk also graced her lips, not exactly matching the one of the other girl, but there nonetheless.
"Let me help you up. No hard feelings, yeah?"
"I don't know. Maybe. I'll think about it." Her fingers gripped tighter around the girl's hand, still not letting go. "Actually, I think it's a fat chance." She then put her other hand in front of her first and yanked on the girl's wrist with as much force as she could manage, hoping to pull her onto the floor and continue an attack from there, at which point Elmira assumed she would have the dominance in the situation, as this rival had before. Elmira was surprised that her opponent had been so trusting and believing; an intelligent and clear-minded person such as herself should have remained suspicious of the anger-prone six foot blonde.
Of course, there was always the possibility that the girl was indeed still weary and chose not to show it in case resolution was probable, meaning that she would be on her toes at the event of Elmira's violent move. But Elmira would be on her toes as well (not literally, of course- she had a great hatred for actually being on the balls of her feet); now that she knew this girl's little trick, she would make certain not to fall into the same trap again, being sure to dodge as much as she could before she wore out.

Ah, good, another fight avoided.
Nick thought too soon. Just as Elmira was being helped up, she reversed the nice gesture into a counter-attack.
Ugh, and we continue...
Nick decided to try and reason with Elmira from the sidelines as she fought with the other girl.
"Uh, Elmira, why did you do that, she was trying to help you, just leave it alone."
Its not that Nick was anti-violence, he was a boxer, but he felt that Elmira was wrong in continuing to fight this girl when all she was trying to do was help.

"Uh, Elmira, why did you do that, she was trying to help you, just leave it alone."
"She fucking pinned me down so couldn't move!" Elmira exclaimed, clearly surprised at Nick's reaction. "And she thinks I'm just going to be chill with her being the superior after she makes it so if I move an inch, it hurts like hell?! Umm... no. She can be my friend AFTER I kick her ass."
Elmira shook her head. Why did they both treat her like she was crazy? She wasn't a damn dog; she was a bloody human being. Sit, Ellie. Stay, Ellie. You going to be a good girl and not pee on the carpet? Alrighty, then, I'll let you go. I'll even pat you on the head and give you a treat if you don't try to bite. Ah ah ah! NO! NO BITING!
Despite the odd comparison she formed in her head, the main reason she could not let it go the first time was because it generally appeared that her opponent had won, and Elmira did not like to lose. She had essentially given up, and if she just shook hands and walked away, it would be left at the sense that Elmira had been defeated. Not only that, she had been beaten by a smaller girl, who used her brain instead of her strength. Hell, Elmira didn't even know if the girl actually had a decent amount of physical strength or if she just survived in the crazy violent public school by thinking quick as before.
