Mod-NPC Fight Intervention Idea

I'm half and half on the pilliar enter every school thread thing. Mainly because every thread that is not open for me has little relevance for me, not to say that I dont do any developing for Pat but my closed threads are generally very, very specific. I'm generally trying to foster a certain relationship that gets wrecked if someone pops in and says "NO (Fighting, killing of an NPC or two or whatever) but on the other hand It's doubtful that someone is going to create a terrible wake of carnage in a closed thread and if some one does, that get pilliars going.

In the end I'm half and half. I feel that the closed thread shoul only be violatable if something were to happen that would cause widespread panic or that word of mouth would get around too fast for their not to be action. So I guess one or two deaths instantly should not warrant too much attention.

Still it should all be played by ear.

I think we were thinking more along the lines of when someone has a fight with spectators in the courtyard or something. So it is this huge show but the Pillars can't step in because it is closed to interference or something like that. But then on the same note, people complain about inactive pillars.

Hmm... in my mind we could work it out like this:

• Give the pillars the power to interrupt a fight within school grounds or just watch for their amusement and/or just plain not go disturb. Unless it is a personal request from both fighters, and with a good IC reason(?). xD
  
• Remove the use of closed fight threads on the School RP board. It isn't logical, since it's a public place. Everywhere else, on the other hand may or may not be public -- and if I'm imagining all this right, the likeliness of anyone caring enough to interfere with a fight is very low.
  
• Allow Moderators to fight with NPCs should the fight be in a public place. But if the fight is requested to be closed (which according to this proposition of mine, should only be possible outside of school grounds) then they can vy to respect that and leave the thread be. >>;
  

Iunno. That's just from my mushed brain at 2:24 in the morning. XD
