[Gabriel Seran]

His eyes didn't leave her for a second now that she'd accepted him not even as the waiter went about handing out their meal. Or at least thats how he would take it considering he'd yet to be rejected. Everyone liked to keep positive outlook on things it was the way they kept moving through life. It was how Gabriel truly kept from giving up some times.

Plans for tonight? His mind hovered over a few things but none more appealing than simply staying with her right now. Though her awkward display of eating with the crippled limb made him smirk. It would take awhile to get anywhere with that going on. Gabriel moved his free arm across the table picking up free his fork and into her salad dish to feed her. Woldn't want her to hurt herself anymore than a condition she was already in.

"Pardon the reach." He said with a short smile and a bat of the eyes, he was as unsure of this as she was perhaps not knowing where to go was a hard feeling to get passed, "plans? hmm I don't recall having any past this, though making a few surly wouldn't hurt..." He replied with a quick smile.

"Apparently there's a carnival in town... though I'm sure you'd rather walk." the edges of his grin flashed upwards at his joke.

He smiled and took his fork into his own hands. Though he had soup so it was...

Okay, so he started stbbing at her salad. He was feeding it to her now, and she managed to take a bite with a wide smile. She felt foolish being fed at age seventeen by a guy on their first date.

"Apparently there's a carnival in town... though I'm sure you'd rather walk." he still had a smile, and so she couldn't help but grin. Her gimped hand reached for his spoon and she held it up for him to take. "Carnival sounds like fun... Haven't been to one before... and don't worry about feeding me, you need to eat too." she picked at the salad with an awkward attempt, but managed perfectly fine.

"What is there to do at a carnival?"

He let the spoon past his wall far easier than the questions he'd let out before, it seemed to be a bit easier now perhaps the truth didn't always end so badly maybe there was some method behind it that made it all work out so well. The warm soup filled his stomach as he let out a cool sigh.

"Well, there's always the fun little games and of course I'd have to win you a prize." Gabriel replied with a devilish smile

He'd certainly not let her off the hook without having a bit less of a staged fun area, he could play fun and serious as well. Though he was sure a little dose of random playing would certainly bring her out now. A good last push or so.

"Well, there's always the fun little games and of course I'd have to win you a prize."

Hm, fun little games. It would be interesting to have fun. She usually had to entertain herself with her own imagination when she was younger. Her parents never gave her the money to go to a carnival, let alone she didn't have anyone to go with.

"Ok... You can try and win me a prize." she smiled while taking a bite of lettuce. After she swallowed and continued on talking. "That game where you smash the target with a hammer? Yeah I can hand your ass to you with that one." she would see that game being played on movies and T.V shows. It was a game to test someone's strength; so, she was able to make a joke out of her weak stae, or just her weakness as a whole. It would be obvious he was able to do so much better than she would. Who knows, she probably wouldn't even be able to lift the mallet.

He laughed lightly at her joke making clear that it would certainly be a joke not poking too much fun at her physical state as she was in now. He took slow pleasure in sipping away what was left of his soup as time passed by. It was quite calm in fact despite the silence of their eating, the music in the background, and several other sounds about the room. But Gabriel felt for at least once a moment of peace.

"Ready to go?" He stood sliding out from his seat never letting go of the one hand he had attached to Olivia.

Once they'd finished up he would pay the waiter and leave him a fairly large tip for the moment and he'd walk along side olivia closely out the door.

She ate up her salad, though she was a bit slow at it, do to being a handy capped. When she was done, Gabriel was ready to leave. They both got up from the table and he paid for the dinner.

She walked near him as they exited the resteraunt. She felt the kiss of the night's cold on her legs and face. Maybe following Alexis' sense of style was a no no, or she could have actually letft on good terms so she could have brought a jacket with her.

"Thank you for dinner." her eyes looked up to the navy blue sky. In the city, it was always difficult to see the stars, which was a shame. Sh eloved looking up at the stars, it made her think there was another world out there, one that had been less cruel than this one. She always just wanted to escape the world, and leave it behind, but now, she didn't feel the same. Let there be a new world, she liked this one now.

She shivered as a little gust of wind ran across her bare skin, so she inched herself closer to Gabriel, to feel his body heat. That and because it was dark and she couldn't see what was hiding in all the shadows around the both of them.

Gabriel walked closely feeling her shudder under the cool night's air. It'd taken him to actually notice how cold it had actually gotten wit a shift of his arm he pulled Olivia in closer to him almost as if she were under his wing now. Gabriel bent his head down to kiss the top of her head. Safe. She'd be safe here.

They rounded the corner of a dark street, Gabriel still felt that warmth of being accepted, almost too much so that it would have clouded his judgment. He had grown too soft perhaps, maybe for the time being. Walking down the long stretch of open street they could see the lights of the makeshift tent towering just above the building.

He hooked his arm around her and pulled her in closely. She felt him press a little kiss on the top of her head as she snuggled closely to him. She had a smile that was painted on her face, and she just couldn't seem to stop. The fact that he seemed to care much for her was comforting, even if it would be only temporary. Olivia wanted to get as much feeling as she could, before he grew sick of her and would leave. He made her feel human, and made her feel like she was worth living.

Then lights caught her attention. She could see them flashin amongst the buildings and her the cries of laughing children and the chatter of families and couples.

They finally reached the small carnival, and Olivia marvelled at just about anything. She was quite amused with the men on the stilts. She would never have th guts to walk on those, let alone walking in a crowded place with little hellian children running loose. Olivia's eyes glistened with excitement when she heard the carnis advertise their booths or the little children begging for cotton candy or to go on bumper cars (which seemed painful, don't know why whiplash is fun for people).

"I like the lights.." she commented. It was true, it was almost her favourite thing. They way the different colours mixed and mingled in the dark sky, all from different rides like a roller coaster to something more calm like a farris wheel(which so didn't seem calm, it looked frackin tall...)

Gabriel would smirk having to enjoy how short this night may actually seem. He promised Alexis to have her back by a reasonable time and though it would kill him inside to let her go Gabriel would have to return this estranged girl to one who certainly didn't appreciate him. But he knew enough that Olivia's love wasn't only shared by him but by her sister as well.

He sighed enjoying watching her having fun, "well there's more where that came from..." he gave her a smile before taking her hand once more.

Gabriel lead her across the strips of hay strewn about from the many animals and carnis. Right before their eyes was a large light up sign that was strewn over the large tent, shadowed in the light of it's brilliance Gabriel pulled Olivia in close and kissed her gently as the lights to the sign swiftly flashed an array of colors in different patterns. The kiss was warm and passionate full of something more.

"So you up for bumper cars?"

"well there's more where that came from..." he took her hand and brought her around the area as she still stared around the place with absolute awe.

Before she could do anything he turned her around to give her a kiss. It was a lot more different than the one under the tree or the one on her head only moments ago. It made her feel weak at the knees and all she could do was stand still once he had parted from her lips.

"So you up for bumper cars?"

"...Okay..." of course she wasn't aware of what she agreed to. She was still so out of it from the unexpected kiss, she was cought off guard. Her eyes darted to the flashing sign announcing the ride the were currently infront of. Her eyes widened in fright when she read the words "Bumper Cars". It was a shame she had agreed to go on them... a shame indeed. "um... How about something less dangerous... 'cause what if I hit into someone and my car explodes? You would feel bad wouldn't you?" it was a sad excuse, but maybe he could see how desperate she was of NOT going on the harmful ride.

"I will do ANYthing in order to avoid that ride." well, hopefully he wouldn't call her bluff 'cause she looked at the other rides and saw spinning tea cups; what is appealing about spinning really really fast?... Or the rollercoasters, those looked to be very fast and frightful... The faris wheel was so high, what if they were to fall off from the top? Her stare was no longer excited, 'cause she just realized how dangerous every single ride was. The carnival was a death trap.

Gabriel laughed lightly taking it as a joke only to realize that Olivia wasn't kidding around about being terrified of it having explode on her. He pulled her in closer sliding his arm around the girl's shoulder to rest protectively around her waist.

"Don't worry I wont let anything happen to you, promise." He said reassuringly giving her a quick squeeze before dragging her along up the short row of stairs to the walkway of bumper cars strewn about. "if there is any chance of use exploding throw me in front I'll absorb the damage." He said playfully hoping into a car.

The seats were big enough to fit two people but there's seemed to be a bit too small for adult sized people like Gabriel, being over six foot had its difficulties if Olivia wanted to share she'd have to settle with a lap seat which Gabriel certainly wouldn't mind.... ( )

His arms scooped her closer to him and she felt a bit more safe, whiohc is odd because he had full physical contact with her. Guess she had gotten out of the trust issue with him, now it was working on her paranoia with other things.

He pulled her to the direction of the line and she tried to make her legs go heavy and drag, but being that tall big guy he was and she being the short weak girl she was, it was easy for him to drag her.

He sat himself in a car, but there was no room for her to sit in beside him. She looked over at the other cars and had seen them all being occupied by children who were sneezing all over their hands and touching objects within said car. That simpley would not do.

She could always just turn the other direction and just bolt 'er out of this place, but that involved ditching Gabriel, and again, that simpley will not do.

With a huff she sat herself on his lap with a red and hot face. She felt like one of those flirty annoying girls at her old school, but she was not sharing a car with some sickly kid.

"It is going to be hard to throw you infront of an explosion when I'm sitting on you." she said with a laugh. "And I'm not touching that wheel after what I had seen children just do..."

Gabriel laughed at her expression, Cute very cute.

"We'll I don't think I could sit on you very well could I." He joked with a smile wrapping his arms around her to grasp the wheel.

Gabriel felt a bit of warmth grasp hold of him now feeling quite fuzzy by it all. His head moved up to the space between her shoulder and neck close enough so his breath whisked across her neck. He kissed gently on the neck, feeling warmer the second he did.

"Hold on tight." He whispered finally as the lights started flashing green to signal their start. Gabriel was one for competition but having Olivia in the car he didn't want to bash off the start rather he played it a game quite close to one of cat and mouse, he let the kids get inches from hitting the car before he'd avert course and narrowly avoid danger. It would be a slight adrenaline rush at least for the kids. Gabriel laughed a bit seeing their disappointed faces before pulling off on the escape. The lights dimmed slowly till they signalled a stop.

Gabriel obeyed and came to a slow stop. His grasp on Olivia was close and relaxed. And of course one of the brats decided not to listen to directions and then...

*Thwack*

A wrenching movement in the car shifted them forward with a jostle. Gabriel didn't see the fun in it but put on a face for Olivia showing that it was all in good fun.

She felt his arms wrap around her in order to get to the wheel. She also felt his breath brush against the side of her neck before he layed a kiss there. Her nose scrunched up cutely, feeling a little embarrassed anyone could see their signs of affection.

The green light turned on and Gabriel warned her to hang on. Her hands slid to the side of his legs, 'cause she didn't want to touch anything on the car. All the while she she had her eyes closed, but she couldn't feel any impact from other vehicles. The car slowed and she opened her eyes noticing the green light was now red.

"That was-"

*Thwack*

Her body shifted a little bit and it felt like her heart stopped. Gabriel smiled trying to comfort her, letting her know it was all fun and games, but the suddenness of it all made her scared shitless. She pulled her inhaler out from her purse that I recently decided she had and she took a couple puffs.

"-scary" she pulled herself up and her legs looped out of the car.

"Something more calm please..." her eyes were pleading and she seemed a little shaken. When he would get out of the car himself, she would latch onto him, because she was scared she was going to pass out.

Gabriel tried not to laugh, though a grin always seemed to perk out. Standing out of the car first to make sure no other little kid would end up hitting her again he leaned over to pull her out of the vehicle. A single hand extending out much like the mosaic where Adam reaches out to God. He would undoubtably sweep her up a safe distance from the monstrous kids that were obviously out to get them. Quite humorous in fact.

Walking up out of the place he'd keep a close eye on Olivia, from appearances she was getting better at least opening up with him. The outside world however would still need a bit of work. He shook his head giving her a joking look.

"How about the ferris wheel?" He said with a reassuring gaze, "This time around you can be sure to use me as a shield if we fall... which we won't" Gabriel jested playfully.
