Sara stalked the halls of the school, searching for her prey. Ok, maybe not =P She had broken into the office and stolen the locker number for the person she was looking for. Then she had gone to stick a note in his locker... Then she realized... He was blind... " OK, so change of plan, she was searching for his locker to sit around and wait for him <3 The good thing? =D No more crutches!! Hence why she was searching out this specific person. A fight had been promised for when she was healed, and here she was, all healed up. It was beautiful. She smiled wickedly, her hands in the pockets of her black sweat pants. Her white t-shirt clung to her figure as she turned down another hallway. She looked at the numbers on the lockers and she walked slowly down the hall. Then she found it. YUSH! SHE WAS GENIUS! <3 She sighed, and leaned back against it to wait for him. She really didn't even know if he used the locker. Maybe he didn't... Maybe it would have been smarter to go steal his class number... Now THAT was an idea O___O She ran back to the office and walked through the broken door... Hmm... Wonder who did that *innocence* =3 Sitting down at the computer behind the desk, she typed in the name. Connor Dwyre. She found the room he was in and off she went <3 A few minutes later, she was outside the class. YAY!! She kicked in the door dramatically and walked in, her eyes searching for him. Finally, she spotted him. Again, with as much dramatics as she could muster, she pointed at him. "Connor!! You blind little shit! You owe me a fight!" Immediately, the class was in an uproar, and the students were scrambling out. The teacher sighed and hung his head. Oh yeah~! He knew what was happening~ He to, grabbed his things and left. In the heat of the students running around, she calmly walked forward. Reaching him, she simply drew her right arm back and slammed it towards his face. She had chosen him to join her, it was time to put that to the test. There was no way in hell she was warning him.

Connor was a good student. He studied hard, went to class on time (despite his condition). He tested well, and there was no complaint from the staff against him. He was a model student. They had no idea that he was with Gabriel's crew. That he would help go against the grain, and stand for what he believed in. No, they assumed he was one of the few that would behave, go with the flow, and never speak out.
The school didn't know him very well. The staff thought he was on their side. Something that would be part of their downfall, if he worked it well enough.
It was the end of the day. Connor's last class. The room was quiet, a relief for the boy. There was no disturbing, and he had finished his paper about ten minutes ago. The teacher had it in his possession, and all seemed well. Then, the crash, and the familiar voice calling him out.
the class scrambled, and they left. The teacher, too seemed to want no part. Not to help, or eve stop it. This was a violent school, after all. Connor, rather than respond with anger, merely grinned. He knew exactly who it was, and exactly why she was here.
Sara was all better.
"Glad to hear your voice. And in better spirits, it seems." They had an understanding, as they had spoken already. If Connor had another friend aside from Bix, Sara was the closest to one. Though they weren't buddy-buddy, The exchange was playful enough. She was here with a purpose, and Connor intended to make good on his promise. He just wasn't expecting it to be in the middle of class. He didn't take one thing into account.
Sara... was... crazy.
He could feel her getting closer, the vibration in the room was clear. The only way it could have been better was if the sprinklers went on. No such luck. The desks would be a problem. Maybe they should take this elsewhere. But, Sara was wasting no time. Not even enough to allow him to stand a square up.
As she got close enough and hauled off to swing, he rolled with it. Out of his chair and onto the floor. It put the desk between them, and him to his feet. As soon as he stood, he kicked the chair he was sitting on and it slid right at the knee that just healed up. He hoped it was still sore. Any weakness would be helpful.
He put distance between them, but didn't put his back to a wall. He would have preferred a more open arena without so many obstacles. Maybe the courtyard of the school, or the gym. Even a hallway would be better.
Connor had been training hard. Very hard, in fact. But, he felt like he wasn't getting any stronger. Though Suichi had been bringing his talent back up, his strength had gone no where. However, there was something else he learned, something he had not before. It was about time to test it.
He removed his shades, and grinned. "We already went through this, so I'm not expecting my eyes to freak you out. That would be too easy." The shades were placed on a desk. He had others. One pair wasn't a problem. "I'd just like to level the playing field." His tone was not that like he had before when he greeted her. There was a confidence there. He knew something she didn't.
He could feel her power. He knew that fighting her would be like fighting Gabriel. But, when he fought Gabriel, he couldn't see him. That, thanks to a new development, was about to change. Connor squared up, took his stance. His eyes lost their green color. They turned white, and began emitting a glow. For the first time, at least since his training, he saw color. He knew what it was. Where Sara stood was now a glowing blob. It gave away her position, and he looked right at her. With no pupils, there was only one word to describe this.
Creepy.
"Ah, there you are. Well, I did promise you a fight. I thought we could take this outside, but something tells me you'd rather do this here." He prepared. His style was still based on defense, though now, he might be able to strike first. "Let's go." With that, he moved. Another thing few ever saw or expected. Connor was reading her from all his senses. He took a few steps in, made like he was aiming a hook shot at the face.
A fake. He pulled after the strike went out, dropping quick to the floor. He shot his right foot out, right next to her shin. He twisted his body, hoping the kick would connect, knocking her down at least. He would roll back, and get back to his feet, ready to respond to her attack.

As Sara struck out with her fist, he moved with her attack. She was expecting resistance, but there was none as he rolled out of his chair to the floor. The lack of resistance had her stumbling forward, smiling. Kid was good. A sudden attack and he was handling it well. That was good to see. He wasn't some whiny little scared bitch, and she liked that. And for being blind, he was pretty quick <3 She had known there was something in him. He could become better. He would. The chair slid towards her leg and she stuck her knee out to catch it. It hit the knee, and she winced, still smiling. It hurt, but not that much. Poor kid. She hadn't really told him what had happened. The only thing she had been healing from was the surgery, and letting the plate set. She had a plate in her knee now and it had set nicely <3 It was perfect. The knee worked fabulously. It would be YEARS before she would need to have the plate replaced. The chair hitting it had felt... weird, more then anything. More then it hurt, it had just felt... different. She smiled and pushed the chair out of her way as she took another step towards him. She was excited about this. She wanted to reaffirm to herself that she had made a good decision in choosing him to help them. At the same time, he interested her. The fight was in good fun. She could see them being good friends after this. If she didn't kill him " She would need to be careful about that. When he spoke, she met his gaze. There was something in his voice. Like he knew something she didn't. It made her chuckle as she took another step towards him, watching as he removed his glasses. Whatever it was, she wasn't afraid. It didn't matter to her, she would be able to fight him no matter what he threw at her. He also had no idea what her qi was >3 And then his eyes, those pretty little eyes she liked so much, changed. O__O Now that... was different. That was... cool. "Here I am? You can see me?" That was so cool!! O_____O "Well.. You know.. If you wanted to take this outside, we could, I don't mind..." She laughed. Good thing they were on the lower floor eh? "Let's go."Sara tensed as he came forward, her hands going in front of her defensively, lightly clenched. She prepared for the punch. And realized just to late that it was a fake. She realized unhappily, as he he dropped, that she wasn't giving him enough credit. If there was one thing from her... former life... That she should have taken with her, then it was that when she got to cocky, she usually got really hurt. And then the kick connected and she tripped, falling onto her hip and side as he rolled away. She laughed as she pushed up quickly. She stayed crouched, balancing and rocking on the balls of her feet. "Good. That was good. You're better then I gave you credit for." It was a compliment. Whether he took it that way, was up to him. In the mind of crazy Sara, that was the best compliment she had given to date. Then, without missing a beat, she pushed off the balls of her feet, giving herself extra momentum as she threw herself at him. All her speed went into her movements, her right hand moving upward to grab his throat, pushing him back the short distance to pin him to the wall. Before he could retaliate, her hand gently squeezing his neck, she would brace herself with her left hand on the wall next to him, and slam her right knee upwards into his gut... or groin >3 He was taller then her, and if he moved, she might just hit his goods O=

Well, had he not been so hasty, they might have a more open arena. But, he hadn't anticipated her actually accepting. Perhaps they might in a bit, if he survived whatever she was about to throw at him. He had faith in his training, and it actually seemed like she enjoyed his new "trick." When he actually connected and faked her out, she laughed and complimented him.
So far, he had gotten two shots in. The chair had hit her knee, though she had stopped it, and it had little to no effect (from what he could gather anyway). He only prayed it might still be a weakness. Not that he was going to use it. After all, if she had just recently gotten over things, he wasn't about to make them worse. That one attack there would be has last. And he had knocked her down, something he didn't think he'd pull off.
However, she was fast. Very fast. She had him pinned almost before he knew what was going on. He saw the shapeless blob of colored light come at him. Though this technique was something that could be helpful, he had only just started using it. It only helped so much. She had him by the throat, and without any further warning, nailed him right in the gut. Thankfully he hadn't shifted, or he'd be more than winded.
He knew, based on the attack, she wasn't trying to destroy him. This was more of a hard spar rather than an all out brawl. That, he was thankful for, too. If it was an all out fight, he knew who the victor would be, and that was a bit upsetting. Not because she was a girl. No, he respected her for her talent. It was because he felt like he might be too weak to be seen as useful, or that she might turn form him because of his lack of strength. This was more to prove to her he was worth something.
She hadn't released him, but did seem to let him catch his breath. The squeeze hold she had on him wasn't a choking one, but one to keep him against the wall. He took a gulp of air. "Well, at least I didn't piss you off. I think you would have put me through the wall if I had." He grinned. He was far from finished. "And no, I can't see you. I can see your aura though. And I know your not using full force to murder me. Thanks for that." The tone was still confident, but still friendly. This was, after all, a fun match.
He brought both hands up to her wrist, his right hand above his left. He pushed in with his fingers of his right hand, right at the pressure point just below the joint. With his right foot, he placed it against the wall. Giving a good push, hopefully it would be enough to give him the leverage to push off the wall and twist around, reversing the position. If all went well, her face would be slammed against the wall, her arm behind her and locked.
Following it up with a kick to the back of her good knee would hopefully drop her and give him time to hold her for a second or two, than release her. He would back up a few steps, then again make a request.
The other students, the ones who had scrambled, were trying to figure out what was going on. How did the quiet blind kid have such bad luck to gain a fight with one of the toughest fighters in the school? And what's more, why did it look like they were BOTH enjoying this? They only though of one answer.
They were BOTH crazy.
"We could move it outside now. That is, unless your having fun here?" He was grinning, and the tone still confident and playful. That was, he was grinning till he realized the only two ways out were through the door, down the hall and outside, or through the window. If Sara wanted out, he doubted she minded breaking the window, or using his body to do so. Connor didn't have bad thoughts, nor did he swear. But, at the thought of very possibly going through the window and not by his own means dawned on him, one word went through his own mind.
Crap.

Sara looked up at him from her position on the floor. Bloody little bugger had managed to slam her into the wall D< Something with spot on her wrist. Intrigued, she ran her hands over her skin and joint. That was kinda cool... She should learn more about that. For a moment, he had had her concerned, what with her arm locked behind her back and all... It was all good though~<3 Sara wasn't really putting her all into the fight. It wasn't because she was underestimating him or anything stupid or inconsiderate like that. It was simply that this was more of a fun spar for her then anything. A chance to show each other what they had. And so far, she was impressed. "We could move it outside now. That is, unless your having fun here?" She thumbed her nose at him and chuckled. She liked Connor. He was cool. He reminded her of James kinda... Ahhhh James... Good old one eyed James. He made the funniest jokes about having only one eye. She liked being around James... Not that James had met the new and improved Sara " She wasn't sure he would like her now... OH WELL O: "Outside eh? Sounds like a plan..." >3 Sara pushed herself slowly and calmly to her feet. Outside. Hm. The quickest way...? She walked forward, right past him. Her gaze stayed on him, a small smile on her face. When she was just slightly past him, the angle between them and the window perfect, she acted. With a playful laugh she gently reached out to touch him, almost like a friendly swat. Which is was... But with a kick Just before her fingers touched him, a faint green wind would flow over her body, swirling gently just above her skin. When her fingers touched his chest a small boom would signal the activation of her qi, and he would be hit with a tremendous amount of force, and he would be thrown back... Right through the window The 'burst', as Sara called it, wouldn't hurt him. Hitting the window would. <3 And landing on the ground outside it... " OH WELL O: It was Connor. He wouldn't be hurt TO bad... To late now though eh? <3 If it all went to plan, she would hurry after him, the wind still swirling around her body. Her hands would plant on the windowsill as she vaulted herself onto the grass outside, landing nicely on her feet close to him. Sara, surprisingly, was quite proud of herself. ^__^ She felt she had chosen a very constructive and interesting way to get them both outside And show off her epic qi. "There! Good eh? Ready to continue?" OOC - Posts till next 'burst' - 4 STR +5, DEX +10

She agreed, and he smiled. This was turning out to be fun. And it seemed like they would be moving to a more open area. He had let his guard down as she came close, expecting them to casually walk out the door. That was a huge mistake. From what he felt, it was all friendly. Then again, Sara was friendly through this whole thing.
Connor saw it. Just as she was moving to him, her aura got a lit brighter. He had no idea what was going on, or had any time to react or move. He was hit with a force, which more surprised him than anything else. Now, the window was something else. His body shattered the glass, and he hit the ground outside more than ten feet from the building.
She landed near him, and her tone showed she was proud of herself. She playfully asked if he was ready to continue. He grinned. He hadn't gotten up yet. "Quickest way outside, huh?" he rolled back onto his shoulders, and kicked up with his legs. A kip up. He was in pain, but trying not to show it. Going through the window hurt more than he would have liked it to. But, at least he knew what was about to happen when the aura got brighter. That might help him to avoid it should she do that again.
"That.. was a neat technique." He stretched his back a bit. If this was how she fought someone in a good mood, he pitied anyone who got on her bad side. He made a mental note to never piss her off... ever. "I guess if the school can build an auditorium, they can put in a new window. Room was stuffy anyway." He squared up, and got a quick tap of his foot off.
There was nothing around. No obstacles, no hiding places. This would be just fighter to fighter. He was wondering if staying in the classroom would have been a better option. Oh well, to late for that now. If it was more vicious, the shards of glass could be used. But, Connor had no intention of doing that. It wasn't a life or death struggle. He hoped Sara didn't get any ideas about it, either. Least not ones she would follow through on.
"Thanks for the breather. Even if I'm not ready, you've been more than fair." He got his distance. He decided on a course of action. He would have to out think her. That would be his only shot. So far, it had worked a bit. He'd have to keep it up to keep up with her. Still, all in all, this was a lot of fun.
He tensed, then took off. He headed straight for her, keeping his eyes focused on her in case her aura brightened again, That force could send him far, and the landing would be less than pleasant. He would stop just short of her, drop his center just a bit, and aim for her sternum, trying to wind her. So far, he had used fakes and deception. Maybe a straight forward attack would be unexpected now. Usually, these were to be avoided. But, he had started off without it. He'd try it now.
