The car's passenger door opened in the parking lot, and Adrian pulled himself from the Aston Martin two-seater, pausing and resting his arm on the top of the car as his girlfriend exited from the driver's side. He looked out at their destination, the almost monolithic Westfield Centre mall. He couldn't help but smile. Adrian wouldn't necessarily consider himself a fan of shopping as a hobby; however, he did quite enjoy purchasing expensive objects. This thought caused his face to fall somewhat, however. Those times were past him now, if at least for now. Today, he was here with Kate, and while he knew, despite his best objections, she'd be buying him things, it wasn't the same as dropping your own Amex Black Card down on ten or so thousand dollars worth of merchandise. He looked over to his girlfriend, and his smile was brought back up again. He squinted somewhat in the sunlight, and checked himself in the car's window. Clad in a black-and-silver designed button-down shirt, buttoned up most of the way and a pair of regular jeans and sneakers. He hadn't really worn anything designer in a while now, and while he'd never admit it to anyone, he was starting to get used to it. Adrian nodded to Kate, getting her attention. "So, where do we start, love?"

"Where everything starts darling, the beginning."
She was just a tad feisty this morning-- er afternoon. Since Adrian had started sleeping in her room, there really hadn't been too many days that she woke up actually in the morning. Which was fine for her. The blonde just smiled and shut the door of her sexy little car, walking around the front. She was wearing an aqua blue halter tank on top of a pair of longer white shorts, almost like board shorts. A pair of slip on heels finished the look. Her hair was straight, and over her pale shoulders.
"But rather, where ever. I spend, the boys pick up, and it gets to the apartment by the end of the night like clock work."
She walked up to him and planted a kiss on his cheek before slipping her hand in his with a quick squeeze of her fingers. Adrian, he was here with her and she was loving it. Fuck what his dad offered, this was better than anything else. She began to head into the mall, still holding on.

At her initial answer, Adrian couldn't help but groan. Such a trite reply, but despite it all, it brought a grin to his face afterward. He linked his fingers in hers, smiling at her as she leaned in to kiss his cheek. She expanded upon her answer, to which Adrian would only nod in agreement.
"Must be nice, to not have to carry anything. Your boys certainly are multi-talented. Bad-ass bodyguards AND humble bag-boys. You can't pay for that kind of talent." He smirked, and gave her hand a little squeeze in return for the one moments before. They walked into the mall, and Adrian blinked a few times as his eyes adjusted to the more modestly-lit artificial lighting, a stark contrast from the bright mid-afternoon sun.
"Anywhere in particular you'd like to hit up first, Kate?" Adrian asked, taking her beauty in with his eyes. Certainly, he wasn't unattractive himself, but Kate... Kate was a catch. He smiled at her. "I think I could definitely use a pair of shades," he said, laughing, still trying to blink a few sun-spots out of his eyes.

Ah yes, her boys. The boys had been with her a long time. Kate doubted they'd be going anywhere else for some time. She smiled softly, remembering it all. They had remained her 'friends' through out the ages. She smirked slightly and continued to walk until they passed through the mall doors and the AC kicked in to cool her skin down.
"Then let's start with those, since you need them darling."
She had her own pair, secure in the white purse she had slung over her shoulder. Granted, it screamed "I have money bitches!" but frankly, anyone trying to steal from her was going to get owned in several ways, and pretty much anally raped, let's just be honest.
"And I want some new electronics and things, I heard the new DS came out. I'd love to have something to distract me in that stupid math class."

Adrian and Kate made their way to the Sunglass Hut, and Kate made a mention of the new DS. "Yeah... I saw that thing on TV. Pretty goofy, what with the cameras and all. Honestly, though, if I was going to have a little game thing with me at school, I'd rather get a PSP." Adrian shrugged. Truth was, he wasn't anywhere near as much a gamer as Kate turned out to be. Oh, he enjoyed playing 'em, for sure, and he'd play anytime Kate wanted, but generally, the boy was just as happy spending his hours watching TV rather than playing something on it.
"We should hit up that GameStop after this, if you want to go look at them."
Inside the sunglasses outlet, Adrian browsed through the brands, until a pair of Oakley Whisker shades cuaght his eye. His eyes lit up as he looked them up and over. He tried them on, looking at himself in the nearby mirror, and nodded his personal approval. Removing them, Adrian checked the price tag, and grimaced a bit.
One hundred and forty-five dollars.
Granted, this used to be chump-change to Adrian, and he was just as sure that Kate probably spent that much on a haircut if she wanted to, but, even so, it wasn't his call to make. He'd just find something cheaper. He slid the glasses back on the rack, unsure if Kate had noticed the action or not.

They wandered inside the sunglass place, and Kate began sifting through the different pairs they had displayed. She owned a few of them, and wanted to laugh at the rest. For instance, like a fully chrome pair of gansta sun glasses. Talk about stupid looking. She turned to Adrian and picked up the glasses as soon as she could. Which of course meant that she would be buying them. He didn't have to say anything, and she wasn't either. Best not to, so he didn't feel awkward or something. And as far as her hair went? It was MUCH more than that. An average girl could go to a second rate place and spend that much to get her hair basic colored and cut. Kate went to the best places for the best stuff, it was by no means cheap.
"Alright love, GameStop then. I'm sure they have it in blue. And I already own a PSP, the DS has some fun games on it is all."
Yeah, she was a big gamer on the inside. Only Adrian really knew, and Kate felt like her secret was safe with him. She bought the sunglasses, as well as a spare set and another in black rims, just in case. The people set it aside for the boys to pick up later.
"All day to spend with you darling. Feels good."

Adrian shook his head, the smile refusing to be held back from his face. This girl was too good to him. Here, he went and left for her almost an entire week, though no reasons of his own, of course, and showed up finally beaten and tired, and not only does she have him move in with her, but now she turns around and begins buying him multiple pairs of sunglasses.
What Adrian did to deserve someone like this, he didn't know, but he didn't want to push his luck by thinking too much about it.
"Of course you do," Adrian said in response to her owning a PSP. "You're my little nerd, after all." Adrian smiled and winked at her to punctuate his good-natured jibe. Nerd or not, he clearly had no problem with it, otherwise he wouldn't have wanted to head into their next destination, GameStop, with her. As they entered the video game store, Adrian's eyes darted across the walls, scanning the multitudes of boxes covering almost the entire four walls of the store. Gaming certainly was the new 'it' thing, if this store was any indication.
Adrian released his grip on Kate's hand to walk around aimlessly, poking through the new releases, figuring Kate would go up to the front to inquire about the DSi. Meanwhile, he would check out the newest 360 games, unfortunately not finding anything too interesting to catch his attention.

She was blushing as she walked into the store. Adrian had called her his little nerd after all. He left go of her hand and she wandered off to the other side of the store. People were staring now, because a girl like her was chilling in the gamestop. All the silly looking nerd boys just staring. She wasn't paying any attention to them at all. Her emerald eyes were locked onto the DS with the new matte finish. Of course, that was just the picture on the box. Her slender hands reached out and grabbed the box, one blonde eyebrow arched as she looked at it.
What color was she going to buy? Well, since the black looked so nice and all... she'd go with that. The female picked out several games on top of the hand held system, lots of things she wanted to play on her slim amounts of free time. In between cheer leading practice and everything else? It's a hard knock life for Kate.
Not really.
She put her things on the counter, everything that she wanted was more than a good armful. Out of her purse came her wallet, and out of that her black card. Time to pay for everything. She leaned over the counter and looked over at Adrian, smirking as she did so.

Adrian looked over his shoulder as the girl plopped a rather large stack of games and accessories onto the counter, and produced her Amex to pay for it. She looked over at Adrian, smirking, and he couldn't help but do the same, slinking over to the counter to watch the purchase be rang up.
Adrian eyed the kid behind the register, an unfortunately dorky-looking fellow with big glasses and acne. He looked about like the type that Adrian usually considered a 'gamer' would look like. Instead of insulting him as he probably would have done before, Adrian just nodded at the kid.
"Sup?"
"I, uh, not much man," the kid replied, looking surprised that Adrian would talk to him. He rang up the few games. "What's up with you...?"
Adrian grinned and shrugged. "Just watching this dweeb here buy a DS." His gaze flicked over to Kate, and he smiled mischievously and winked at her. The purchase rang through, and was set aside for her boys to pick up later. Adrian took her by the arm and walked away from the game store, into the open expanse of the mall.
"So, my dear, what's the next stop in our wondrous shopping experience?"

One eyebrow rose. Adrian was calling her a dweeb? Really? It wasn't a coy, friendly sort of an eyebrow... but it wasn't mean either. It was merely calculating, deciding how she should feel about all of that. Kate licked her lips slowly, then picked up the bags full of things that she had just purchased.
"I really don't know, I really don't care. You need some clothes, I'd like some new ones... I'm getting tired of wearing the same things over and over..."
Yeah, Kate liked to keep things fresh. Not wearing the same pair of jeans over and over. Which to Kate, meant wearing them so that the number of days she had worn them would be in the double digits. Hey, at least she didn't just get rid of her clothing when she was done with it. The blonde donated every bit of her high fashion tastes to homeless shelters and Good Wills and what not. Not that many of the homeless would probably fit in her size, but she tried. That was the point right?
So she just turned into the next store, which turned out to be...
((OOC: That's right, you pick the store. XD ))

Kate purchased her games, and seemed rather nonchalant about the next store in their shopping trip. Adrian's eyes scanned the nearby stores as he exited the GameStop, trying to decide where he wanted to go next. It was hard; he was used to shopping for the highest priced designer goods, but he wouldn't dare step into one of those outlets, not on Kate's card, even if she was fully okay with doing it.
Instead, he stepped into the Express Men's, feeling satisfied by the selection. Sure, it was a bit pricier than places like the Gap, but it wasn't this season's designer prices, and besides, Adrian would rather not step foot in a Gap, even if he absolutely had to. Stepping in the store, Kate in tow by the hand, Adrian turned and raised an eyebrow, asking silently for her approval. The original Express outlet was a women's-only store, and their store was literally next-door, connected from within, so Kate could shop for herself while he did the same.
"What do you think? Expensive enough for your refined tastes, Ms. McHallin?" He said coyly, winking at her. After she answered, he would go about looking for clothes.
He found a few pairs of jeans that would fit him nicely, as well as a couple button-down shirts that suited him. His eyes scanned over for the dressing rooms, but decided to hold off for now. Adrian sauntered over to the women's section, searching for Kate. He found her and walked over, to see what she was doing.
"Find anything you like yet?"

This store was much to her liking. It was something she could throw herself at, something that was worthy of her card. The blonde wandered off to the women section, quickly loosing herself in the clothing. She picked out several dresses, shoes, different combos that would please her inner shopping goddess. She was holding up a slinky sort of red dress when Adrian showed back up.
"Of course. There's plenty of stuff here. I've just always debated red dresses...."
Of course she had. Blondes looked awesome in red dresses, however she had green eyes. Green and red were only good during certain holidays, and only if you wanted to be a touch cheesy. Which was probably very few people saw the girl wear any green at all. She liked the dress, she was just trying hard to figure out if she should wear it in red or black. And she already had a ton of little black dresses at home to wear... Thus the debate in her mind.
"Help?"

Adrian grinned as she pondered dress choices. She was such a girl, and he loved it. She asked his advice, and he paused, thinking a bit about it. Adrian was well-versed enough in general fashion sense that it would not have been surprising to confuse him for a homosexual, but he was just born with more refined tastes.
He knew why she'd hesitated on the dress, but Adrian would disagree.
"I say go for it. I mean, sure, green eyes plus red dress means Christmas in August, but, fuck it, you can just accessorize your arms and neck and go light on eye makeup, to take the notice away from your eyes. Taken in as a whole package, that'll look fuckin' sexy on you."
Adrian nodded, pleased with himself. Like I said, the boy knew way too much about fashion for a straight kid.
"What do you think about these?" He asked, holding up some jeans draped over his arm, and a few hangers of shirts in the other. "Simple affairs, I guess, but I think they'd look alright on me. Any objections?"

Kate looked at her boyfriend, just looked up at him. One eyebrow lifted, and it was back to the slight debate they had had when they had first met. About him being gay. And while Kate knew that Adrian wasn't gay first hand now, it was now being questioned whether he was bi or not. Because of what he knew about fashion and dresses and what not almost scared her. Kate McHallin, scared about her boyfriend's sexuality.
"Baby.... you scare me some times."
The girl chuckled and shook her head, but added the dress with her pile of things she was now buying. He had convinced her, even if she wouldn't wear that much. What would she care about that though? She had oodles of money after all. Spend, spend, spend baby. Kate smirked at him and his jeans.
"And I have no complaints. I like good fitting jeans on your ass."
