Alexis sat on an outside table, watching people walk by. it was her favie thing to do... judge people on their appearences or how they walk...

She even accidently tripped some guy paying attention to his cell phone. Alexis managed to reced her foot, and he looked to the ground, thinking he tripped on a crack or something, 'cause who would suspect some random teen would get out of her way just to trip someone? Well, obviously she would. She liked the reactions.

She took a bite of her samich and after, she drank some of her soda pop. She never calls it soda pop, but it just came out randomly...

A girl then walked by and Alexis actually felt like making a nice comment rather than a bitchy one.

"I like your outfit."

Perhaps it was time to actually get to know the areas around the apartments! Scope out places that could be for rent! After all, she couldn't live with Auntie Alexandra for the rest of the time in the city! Which meant that she needed to scope out the apartments of the city and search for the right one!!...for a good price.So, the say started off relatively good! First of all! She was awake before noon. Secondly, she was awake! and not in some form of over tired state of oddity! So there was no cereal leprechaun mocking her.. because she couldn't eat his lucky charms. Thirdly, it wasn't stormy out! It was a nice day! Basically, it was a really good day!

The girl wore a smile as she walked about, she was getting used not having to look at the sidewalk! Not having to avoid people like the plague! There was a spring in her step, and music in her ears! Though, just as she was really enjoying her music, the battery died! Oh what a world...what a world? what a world? To take all that she loved from her! Music to keep her journey fun, now was gone. Sighing a little, the tanned girl wrapped her headphones up and stuffed the MP3 player away in her pocket.

"I like your outfit."

She turned to to see a lovely young lady sitting at a table. Smiling down at her, "Why thank-you!" She paused for a moment,"I like your hair! It's so long, I'm envious." The girl chuckled a little as she continued to smile. She seems really friendly! Nova thought to herself as she stood across from the stranger.

She returned a comment of her own, which was nice. Hey, maybe she could offer her a seat at her table. Alexis needed some gal pals.. that and she looked like a loner sitting there by her lonesome. Well.. she was a loner, after all, her only friends were guys, and they probably weren't even her friends.

But inorder for the purple and black haired girl to sit down, Alexis was gonna have to go over some manners in her head. After all the girl can get mean, and this one seemed to be in a lovely mood, and it wouldn't be very chivalric of Alexis to go and down the girl's esteem.

So she was about to offer the girl seat then realized..how weird would it be to even ask such a question? After all... all she really did was compliment her outfit... and if anyhting.. complimenting the girl then asking for her to sit would seem rather stalkeresk mixed with a little lesbian. If anything, Alexis was far from being a lesbian, but that girl didn't know that. As far as Alexis could tell, the only thing the girl knew about her was that she had long envious hair and compliments random strangers' outfits!

"Thank you. I'm Michelle by the way."

Well damnit to hell she already lied to the girl.. not very fair now was it. Meh, she will eventually learn Alexis' real name in time.. they always do.. but of course she would have to sit down and make pals with her inorder to do so.

"Wanna sit? It is hot out and a drink might cool you off.. That and I am desperate for company." she said with a little laugh, making it seem less stalker/Lesbian. "What is your name?"

Nova was a very poor judge of character, she always believed everything that people said; after all who was she to judge them on being a liar? The girl smiled as she looked down at the girl, it would be nice to make a female friend! Since it seemed that the majority of the people she ran into were guys. But, there was the odd girl.. Okay, maybe the one! Female friends! Yes, Nova was getting a little a head of herself, but she was just excited to meet a friendly girl!

"Thank you. I'm Michelle by the way."

"Wanna sit? It is hot out and a drink might cool you off.. That and I am desperate for company."

She was such a sweetie! offering a complete stranger a place at her table, it was so refreshing to see. Especially after being around the cruel, sarcastic, bitchy girls from her hometown! yes, that's right, Michelle would be fun to be around, probably!! Taking a seat at the table,"Thank-you! I'd love to join you!" Yah, she knew that her words were a little too late. One was supposed to say those things before sitting down, not after.

"What is your name?"

"My name is Nova! It's nice to meetcha!" She spoke in a friendly tone, always smiling away as she did so. Nova couldn't help but wonder if they'd get along, she did hope they'd get along really well! Then, perhaps friendship could be had? her green gaze wandered around, trying to take in the scenery; it was definitely a different area then she was used too."What can you suggest to drink here?" The tanned girl questioned as she looked over at 'Michelle' she smiling.

"...Nova? That is a pretty name." the girl sat down and Alexis smiled. "Its different, but pretty."

She took a bite of her sandwich again and set it down on the table. "Um.....A drink? Um..Well do you like pop? Coffee? Tea? Juice.........Alcohol?" she laughed a bit. "If so.. alcohol isn't served here." she took a sip of her pepsi and set it back down.

"'Cause I honestly don't know what you would drink... it is basically up to you." that may have sounded a bit mean and sarcastic... but it was the truth, she didn't know. "I'm just drinkning a pepsi.. nothing special here." she laughed a little, trying to hide the fact she made a near snappy remark. It wasn't the worst she could do, but hey anyone who was soft hearted would think it was mean.

"...Nova? That is a pretty name."

Nova saw the girl smile, it was such a lovely smile! Surely the smile of a good person, or she thought at least! Nova was took quick to believe people were good, it usually lead to her down fall. She smiled back at the girl, it was weird to receive a compliment from a girl. Especially after the history with girls she had, they just never seemed to get along. Then again, she had a habit of befriending the...jerkish ones!

"Its different, but pretty."

"Thanks Michelle." She spoke softly, still a little embarrassed by the compliment. nova continued to watch the girl, not in a creepy way! More so in a, waiting for her to talk way! Since it's only right to look at the speaker when they talk.. Right? Watching the sammich, Nova couldn't help but wonder if the food was good! It's not like she started out the day with breakfast, so stopping for lunch.. wouldn't be too bad, right? Though, her gaze soon wandered about, she had to wonder what sort of place it was. She still smiled away.

"Um.....A drink? Um..Well do you like pop? Coffee? Tea? Juice.........Alcohol?"

Michelle laughed a bit and then continued.

"If so.. alcohol isn't served here."

"'Cause I honestly don't know what you would drink... it is basically up to you."

"I'm just drinkning a pepsi.. nothing special here."

The girl chuckled a little at long haired girls comment, it was quite amusing. It was time to think about it, juice was probably the best thing! Yes, a tall frosty glass of cranberry juice to chase away the heat of the day! Perfect. "I think I'll get some juice! Soda is just too, sweet? Never good for a warm day, it doesn't really hydrate you." The girl paused, realizing that Michelle probably didn't care at all about her choice. She chuckled a little."Sorry! I tent to ask people what a place has! It gives me a good idea of what the places has, especially without a drink list." She stopped again,"Sorry again." She smiled at the girl, a little embarrassed by her rambling. "So what brings you out here today?"

She listened to the girl talk excessively. She was trying to wonder if she would be able to handle someone who talked so much. Alexis was used to very little conversation, and this girl bombarded her with it.

"So what brings you out here today?"

Alexis smiled, taking another bite of her sandwich. After she was done she wiped her face with a napkin. "I was out for lunch and decided to sit out here so I could make fun of passer bys."

She said reasonabley loud enough 'cause she wanted more passer bys to hear and feel uncomfortable now. "Like that girl over there... she shouldn't be wearing a shirt like that, it makes her tits look saggy." again, that was reasonabley loud so said titty girl could hear. It was a good way to make people change their clothing styles, without directly saying 'hey you should get a new shirt'. Now they know the uncandy coated truth, and they will be intent on getting a new shirt.

"How 'bout you? What brought you here to be a fellow passer by?" normally that would be a subtle hint that she too would have been a target of Alexis' rude comments only minutes before, though she lucked out and was given a compliment instead.

It wasn't like she was always a talkative person, just when she was nervous. Apart from that, she had a hard time talking to people, she could never really find the right things to say. Nova watched across the table as the girl continued to eat the sandwich, smiling and being lady like! She'd not seen someone actually use their napkin! well, maybe not in a while. She was kind of amazed by it all, she was such a nice girl.. or so she thought at that moment.
"I was out for lunch and decided to sit out here so I could make fun of passer bys."

Nova was a little confused Michelle seemed like a really nice girl, but making fun of people? That was never a good thing. Did that mean, she was going to make fun of her? Maybe she was just plying her along, or there was some horrible form of catch to it all.. Nova watched the dark haired girl as she spoke, looking in the direction of the girl she was commenting on. It seemed like a complete personality change! Well, from what she saw earlier to some form of cruel person! Who made fun of strangers? it was just so mean. Maybe Nova was a little too soft hearted, because she felt horrible for the passer by. It was horrible to go out, assume you look good, only to have some girl make fun of you! The tanned girl looked down at thee table for a moment. She knew all to well that she had jumped to conclusions! Maybe Michelle wasn't was bad as she thought, she'd have to stick around and see for herself. After all, one can never make assumptions about a person.

"How 'bout you? What brought you here to be a fellow passer by?"

"I was just out exploring the are..I'm new to the city." Nova chuckled, trying her best to keep smiling. guilt seemed to eat away at the girl. Though she did not say anything about the passer by, she felt horrible for her.. Also for Michelle! After all, she had thought some horrible things about her! yes, thinking of her cruel before knowing her! What gave her the right to do such a thing? Nova was determined to befriend the girl.. to find the good in her!

"AAw you're new? Yeah..I'm semi new. I'm trying to figure my way around still." she smiled at the girl while raising a hand to snap her fingers. "Where yeah from?"

She saw the hot waiter walk by and she snapped again with a flirtatious smile on, and held her finger up to Nova. "hold that thought."

"Hello, is everything going fine with your sandwich?"

Alexis smiled up at him. "Oh yes it, thank you for asking, but she just arrived and I was wondering if you could be a gentleman and take her order. Thanks, hun." she gave him a wink and wpuld wait for the girl to take her order.... so now she could watch the hot waiter walk away.. He had a nice ass.

"-Sorry 'bout that... Only way you were gonna get any service. So where were you from?" she smiled, taking another sip of her soda yet again!

Just watching the girl's swap in personality, was an interesting way to spend the afternoon. After all, she got to see how different people acted. Nova listened to all she had to say, though felt a little bad the way she flagged down the waiter. She smiled nervously at the waiter before ordering some cranberry juice and a sandwich of the roast beef variety, it was just a sudden craving of meat; nothing out of the ordinary. She smiled once more at the waiter as he walked off, turning once again to Michelle.

"-Sorry 'bout that... Only way you were gonna get any service. So where were you from?"

"I'm from a little now where town about seven hours away.." The girl laughed nervously, trying to not stay on the topic of her homeland for too long. She hated talking about it, it just brought worries to her mind, it just seemed to haunt her. The more she spoke of the homeland of old, the more she feared it coming back. Twisting of the rings began once again, it was just a bad nervous habit. "What about you?" Nova questioned, still speaking in a friendly voice; trying her best to not seem nervous at all. Taking a deep breath, the tanned girl decided to dwell on the thoughts no longer; it was time to focus on her new friend!

"I'm from a little now where town about seven hours away.." Alexis cocked her eyebrow, half waiting for some more. But the girl never kept going on her description of her home town. Nova struck Alexis as the overly talkative type... not the small talk girl...

"What about you?"

"Me? Ah..I lived in Canada. Edmonton to be more exact... Then I was shipped off to Alaska... Fun times." she rolled her eyes slightly at teh fact she was sent to Alaska. Yeah, she had some fun times, but hey, not like she wanted to be at a prison school and at a snowy place at that!

"Have you ever been to Alaska? I suggest you don't if you haven't. It is frackin' cold, and take my advice of cold, I'm Canadian." she said with a smile as her finger tips clicked on the table top.

"Why'd ya move?" she took a sip of her pop and her attention was, now, back on Nova, "Unless that is too personal."

She listened on the edge of her seat, Michelle seemed like such an interesting girl! From Canada to Alaska! and then to their current city! It seemed so amazing! The reasons for moving mattered not at that moment, all that really had any importance was the fact she had been to so many cool places! By so many, she meant two! Regardless, it was amazing! She was lost for words for but a moment, waiting for the girl to finish talking.

"That sounds amazing! Minus the cold of course." Nova chuckled a little, still wearing a smile on her face as she imagined Alaska. Cold but beautiful! So much wonder, so much fun! So many places to get lost... dangerous, yes! But many! of course. No longer was she fidgeting with her rings, it seemed she passed nervous. She was far more absorbed into the dark haired girls words. Oh how she wished to see Canada and Alaska.. one day.. maybe.

"Why'd ya move?"

"Unless that is too personal."

Just as confidence was given, so it was taken away! Oh, life was a cruel thing to be had, it was worth it.. most of the time. But it had a way of being cruel to those who do nothing... Well, she had done something to deserve it somewhere along the line, such was karma! Nova panicked a little in her head, while keeping a calm expression on her face. think think think.... UHHH.... Don't tell her the truth, you'll sound pathetic ..I know! But what do I tell her? oh I know! She took a deep breath, still smiling away as she looked off for a moment; as if lost in some form of remorse.

"I had to move, my parents and little brother passed away in a car accident. So I had to move out here and live with my auntie Alexandra." For a moment the happiness in her voice seemed to fade, but that soon faded as she turned the question on Michelle."What about you Michelle. Why did you move?"

"Sorry to here." still, a short lived explanation. It was probably too personal of a question and she absolutely didn't ahve to answer it, but meh, she did anyway.

"What about you Michelle. Why did you move?"

"Hmmm... I moved to Alaska, 'cause I wanted an adventure.... and I moved here to warm up from Alaska." in other words she was sent to Alaska for committing a crime, and she moved to San Francisco to start fresh.. with Li, whom she broke up with sadly.

Alexis finished up her sandwich, and rubbed her hands together so the crumbs would be dispersed from her hands to the ground. She brought up her napkin and wiped her mouth before crumpling it up and sitting it on her bare plate.

"Well this is interesting..." she said sarcastically after a long moment of silence. "Think of something to say or I officially dub you boring." yeah, she was getting a little bit meaner, though her intentions were to make a friend rather than scare them off. She just couldn't help it, old habbits die hard along with the fact you can't teach an old dog new tricks.
