Now that he noticed it, the sun was making him sleepy. That's what you get when you lay in the heat for too long.
"Yeah, I think so, actually."
Nick continued to stretch, but his muscles were to relaxed by the heat for the stretching to do anything. He laughed after she offered him sex. He knew she was joking, it was kind of hard to miss.
"Yeah, I'm sorry, too. I guess we'll have to reschedule. I'll show you my skills another time. When's good for you?"
He was basically just asking her when she wanted to hang out again. But it was still fun to play along. He stood up and gathered his towel. After she told him when she wanted to meet up again, if she even did, he would head off. But first he would say one last thing to her.
"And thanks for your advice, Demetra. I feel better about the whole thing, so thanks..." he smiled lightly at her, the light from the sun reflecting off his dark blue eyes.
"Yeah, I think so, actually."
