The night breeze whipped Aubrey's hair back and forth as she tried to focus on the piece that had been laid out infront of her. There was a lantern lit beside her so it was visible and she could work with it.
Aubrey couldn't have asked for a more romantic setting. Everything about this place was calm and brought comfort to her, made her feel like she was with someone and not alone. Aubrey wasn't looking for a love interest, but she was looking for a place that would symbolize the invisible beauty everyone seeks.
The white caps brushed against the shore line, whispering to her as she painted their waves' faces. The moon hummed a light that welcomed her with its warm surface, shining its yellow glow, illumanting the foggy haze that hugged the breeze.
Her paint brush licked the water she had in a cup; then she added it to the dot of dried water colour that was sitting on her pallet, giving it life.
Making sure to be exact, she painted the fine detail of his face, the one that watched over her work. It was always difficult to paint detail with water colour, but she had years of practice. Aubrey also used the bleeding colours to her advantage, making it its own texture.
Her skin rippled with goosebumps when the wind kissed her bare body. It was warm when she had left, so she went in a red bikini and wrapped a pastal pink bathing suit wrap around her small waist.
Aubrey set down her pallet and paint brush when she heard someone walking in the sand. She wouldn't know any other reason for someone to be at the beach at night, other than painting a scene such as this; so, automatically her senses aroused and she would take precautions to the unexpected visitor.
