[Alexis Green]

Alexis sat at her piano, playing a song for Olivia. Her twin was no where in sight, but she was recording the sweet, but sad melody for her. Olivia always had a kick out of Alexis' music, so she wanted to give her a CD with a song for it. After all, Olivia put up with all of Alexis' shit.

Once it was completed, Alexis stuck it in a green, clear CD case and took a felt pen to the cold plastic. Quickly she wrote;

There Livi. You are allowed to listen to this one

Smiling she set it on the top of her piano. That intuition she had again. The sick feeling she had in her stomach couldn't resist aching for her attention, but she ignored it. She welcomed it with open arms.

It was time to pick everything up, everything she dropped. No more bing the bitch she made out to be. She missed being herself and being with the people she loved without calling them down one way or another. They stuck with her, and she didn't deserve it. There was one who gave her what she needed. It was a kick in the face, but she forgave him... though... he had nothing to apologize for.

She picked up her purse, and slid on her flip flops. She was going to make it up to him. Ask for his forgiveness one last time. Hopefully she wouldn't fuck it up the third time.

Bringing the phone to her ear as she walked down the side walk, she would smile when she would hear his voice, whether it be his voice mail, or his voice itself.

"I need to talk to you... Meet me at the starbucks... the one closest to..our.. home.."

Li laid on top of his bed, his arms resting behind his head, as he stared up at the ceiling of his room. After leaving Alexis, and the home he had bought for the two of them, Li had gone and rented out an apartment for himself. Even though he had left Alexis and never gone back, he still was in love with her, and his heart ached for her, he wanted to go back to her, but was afraid she wouldn't take him back. He had driven past their house a couple times, hoping to catch a glimpse of her, but was disappointed every time. Li rolled over on his bed, his back facing the door, as he stayed in the darkness of his room. He didn't want anyone else but Alexis, he needed her, he missed her, he loved her. The minute he left, he regretted it immediately. He never cared about the bad stuff she had done then, and what had happened shouldn't be any different. But the sting of pain he felt when he found out what happened, was so overwhelming, so compelling, that Li left without any hesitation.

As he laid there, the song All To Myself by Marianas Trench began to play, almost like the music accompanying a scene in a anime, though it took Li a few minutes before realizing that it wasn't his imagination, it was actually his ring tone of his cellphone going off. Rolling over on his bed, Li grabbed his cell off the side table, as his heart once more began to ache. It was Alexis' name on the screen, she was calling him, but for what, Li had no idea, as he held the phone up to his ear. "...Hello?" he said, as his heart continue to ache with longing for her. He listened to her, as he gripped his shirt, to ease the longing he had for her. "...Alright..." He said simply, as he ended the call, and shoved his cell into his long cargo shorts pocket, before pulling on his sleeveless hoodie, leaving it unzipped, revealing his six-pack and chest, and slid on his flip flops, before heading out of his apartment. He then headed out, and pulled on the helmet, and placed the key in the ignition and turned it, before heading towards the Starbucks located near their house.

Once he reached it, he parked outside it, as he sat on his motorcycle, his helmet still on, as he waited for the only girl he ever loved. He didn't care anymore about what she did, he just wanted her back now. Alexis.

Her face went hot when he agreed to meet her. That meant she had a chance to win him back. She thought for sure he wouldn't want to see her after what she said and did to him. Though it took a couple hours to really think about what she did behind his back. She couldn't help but notice the holes within her logic and shortly discovered she didn't actually cheat. It wasn't the first time she believed in her own lies... she didn't know the name of the guy who took her, and she was very upset with herself; so, in turn, she told Li she cheated, to cover up some sort of truth.

She walked to the starbucks, rather than drive. It was a nice day, but she still wore the green man hoodie Li had given her. It was unzipped, revealing a white summer dress. The length of the sweater almost matched the length of her dress, but that was due to the fact Li was tall and she was short. She was wearing her red, heart shaped glasses, and a light shaded lip gloss. Her smile widened, though the yearning for Li was transparent, she still felt it deep within herself.

All she wanted to do was run, jump on the motorike, and tell him to drive far away. Though that wasn't reality... she had to win him back before making any type of move.. least she embarrass herself.

She got close to the bike, but kept a good distance and smiled, gesturing with a tilt of her head to come into the building with her.

She took a spot near the window, after all.. it was a good day. "Hey, Li... Um.... how have you been?" she didn't order anything at the till, she didn't want coffee.

It was a good thing Li still had his helmet on, for if anyone had seen him right now, they would see the longing and yearning he had for Alexis on his face. He recognized her almost immediately, even though she was still a bit far away, she was wearing the green hoodie he gave her. As soon as she got close to his bike, she smiled and motioned with her for him to come into the building with her, noticing she still kept a good distance away from him. He slowly removed his helmet, revealing his jet black piercing eyes, as he climbed off his motorcycle, and left his helmet on the seat, before following Alexis into the building. The two of them then sat down beside the window, as Li carefully stared into empty space, how to answer her question? He wanted to just jump in and tell her everything, everything he felt over the last couple weeks.

"..." He didn't know where to start. So he went with the one thought that had been occupying his mind all this time. "...I missed you." Li said, as he reached out and took her hand into his warm hand. "I want you back. I don't care what you did, or what happened, the minute I left, I regretted my decision. You're the only one I want, the only one I need. Please take me back Alexis..." Li almost begged her, the sound of pleading evident in his voice. "I love you. I want you all to myself." Li squeezed Alexis' hand slightly, as he looked at her with longing and yearning in his eyes. He couldn't stand being separated from her. It nearly drove him crazy, to be honest. "That is.. if you still want me back..."

He hadn't answered her question, but just stared off. He was probably still pissed off about everything, and probably didn't want anything to do with her at this moment. But then the unexpected happened. He told her he missed her and reached for her hand. She didn't pull waay, if anything, she held onto his hand, feeling the sweet warmth she once knew.

"I love you. I want you all to myself." She felt a lump in her throat. She could always count on him for being there for her. She fucked up, but he stuck by her side "That is.. if you still want me back..." she swallowed the lump in her throat and she opened her mouth to speak.. but puased, too afraid to test her voice.

"Li, I-" then she heard an abnormal noise from outside. The screaching of rubber against pavement as a car screamed around the corner. It was going way too fast.. ontop of it all it looked to be one of those expensive sports cars that have unnecessary high amounts of speed. Police were following shortly behind and she saw a man through the passanger window, point and aim a gun at the escaping car. The gun went off and shot out the cars' tire, sending it swirving to the curb. The car tumbled violently into the air as Alexis' eyes shot to Li.. who was in its line of direction.

No...

Alexis stood quickly, and she would push him off his chair as the car came through the building window with terrible speed. Just as Li was sent out of harms way, a part of the car flung and hit Alexis in the shoulder, where Li's head would have been. From all the force she had been knocked back and flat on her back. No longer had she had any feeling in that arm. The impact must have broke her shoulder... actually.. probably shattered every bone in that location. The car landed itself in the wall on the otherside of the coffee shop and by the looks of it, it didn't hit anyone else.

A pain shot through her side once all the shock disappeared and she looked down to see a jagged shard of glass protruding from her side. She looked over to where Li was and back at the glass. Without making any sudden move she would remove it without him looking and lift up her shirt to see where it had landed itself. Alexis couldn't help but smile at the irony. 4 inches off her old scar. 4 inches.. the same amount the doctor said she was lucky for avoiding the last time she was in the hospital. She knew now that she was gone. She got up and covered her side away from Li's veiw and layed herself on the floor beside him with a smile on her face.

She didn't want him to know.

"You aren't lying, right? You actually do love me?" she was sure he would be confused at such a question after all that had happened, but she needed to know.

The sound of screeching tires interrupted Alexis as she began to speak, Li looked out the window and saw an expensive sports car that had unnecessary high amounts of speed come barreling down the street at high speed, a police car chasing after it. One of the cops in the passenger seat, point his gun out the window, and taking aim, fired a shot at the escaping car, blowing out one of its tires, sending it flying to the curb, before tumbling violently in the air, aiming straight for Li. Li was frozen in his seat, staring at the car as it hurtled straight for him, as people began to shout and scream around him, that is, until he felt himself being pushed out of his chair, just as the car smashed through the window, as he came crashing to the ground. Li threw his arms up over his head, covering his face, as shards of glass rained down on him, cutting his arms up.

As soon as the shouts and screams died down, Li lowered his arms, as blood flowed from the multiple cuts on his arms. The car had plowed through the wall, the front completely totaled, as Li saw Alexis lay down on the floor beside him, a smile on his face. "I could never lie to you," Li replied softly, as he lifted his left arm up, and gently held his hand to her cheek, "I love you, I always have, and I always will. I couldn't stand being away from you, I nearly went crazy from the grief. I love you, I love you the way you are." He then leaned over, and kissed her on her lips, having not noticed the fatal wound Alexis had sustained, since she hid her side from him. He continued to kiss her, as he parted his lips and had his tongue make its way to Alexis' mouth. He didn't know she was dying and sadly, he wouldn't find out until later.

He hadn't question her odd behaviour and spoke his love to her. He kissed her, his tongue entering her mouth as her tongue massaged his. She was starting to lose feeling to her lips and her eyes closed tightly. There was no time for this kiss.. she needed to tell him...

"I love you so much Li... I didn't cheat... It is a long story.. but can you believe me when I say that i have never once stopped loving you? I want to go home..I want to marry you.." Her eyes looked out to the direction of the massive hole in the wall. The dust still danced in the air, making the light mingle with it. Tears washed down her dirt covered face as her eyes turned a brighter green from the crying. Right now she was at peace. She wasn't crying because she was dying, but she was crying because she got Li back. "I want to have you babies.."

Her lip trembled as she drew the picture in her mind.. the future she wish she could have with Li.. as he said, the past is the past, the future is the future.. She didn't have a future, all she had was the past and it was with him. Alexis could only imagine her future.

"Kiss me again.." she pressed her lips to her but could not feel a thing. Little sobs escaped her mouth... she began to cry, knowing she wouldn't be able to feel his sweet kiss again. Suddenly she felt something clog her air way and she tugged away from Li, turning the other direction. Fits of coughing came from her mouth and she could recognize the copper taste of blood fill her mouth. Blood was filling up parts of her body which was not a good sign. She was internally bleeding. Lexie had witnessed this when she was stabbed, but this time she knew it was far more fatal.

She removed her hand from her wound to discover how crimson soaked her hand was and how wet her white dress had become. The sirens from police cars and ambulance could be heard off in the distance... they were too late...

I don't want him to worry about me...

"This isn't very traditional..." she raised her bloodied hand and rested it across his cheek. The other arm was unable to move, so now he would see the pain she was in. "Li..please marry me.."

He felt Alexis kiss him back, her tongue massaging his, but then pulled away, as Li looked at her tenderly, brushing a few stray strands of hair away from her eyes. She then told him she loved him, and that she didn't cheat on him, and he could tell right away that she was telling the truth. "You don't need to tell me the story, because I believe you. I never stopped loving you, not even for one second. We will go home, I'll personally take you home, and we'll get married, I promise." Li replied, as he saw tears run down her dust-covered face, her eyes turning an even brighter green, making his heart break. "You will, I'll stay by your side no matter what." Li said, as silent tears began to run down his dust-covered face. He did as she asked, and pressed his lips to hers, not knowing that she had lost all feeling. She began to sob and cry, as Li wrapped his arms around her, holding her against his body.

"It's alright, don't cry, I'm here... Alexis!?" Li began to say before crying out in alarm, as she tugged away from him and began to cough, as he saw her raise her hand, which was covered in blood. "Alexis! You... you got hurt... saving me...? Alexis..." He said, as he continued to cry, anguish and sorrow on his face. She then raised her bloodied hand, resting it on his cheek, as he saw how bloodied her dress had become, he saw that she couldn't move her other arm, and how much pain she was in. The sound of police cars and ambulances could be heard from far off, as Li lifted his hand, and rested it on top of her hand. "Tradition can kiss my ass right now. Of course I'll marry you." Li had no ring to give Alexis, but there was something else he could give her. Reaching up, he removed the single silver piercing he wore constantly in his ear, and taking her hand, he pressed it into her hand, before folding her fingers over it. "Alexis Green, will you marry me?"

he started panicking about her wound. It broke her heart seeing him like this. He agreed to marry her and she smiled laughing a little when he stated to "screw" tradition. he took out his silver earing and pressed it in the palm of her hand. She held tightly as he asked her to marry her.

"Yes, Li Nakamura... I will marry you.." Her body started to shake. it felt a lot more cold in the room than it hand not to long ago. She couldn't even feel the warmth of Li, holding her tightly.

"This is the best day of my life.." and she really had ment it. Not the 2.5 million dollars.. not finally escaping the grasp of her abusive parents... But marrying Li.. She got him back and it filled her now dying heart with a happiness that she hadn't felt before. "Just.. don't leave me...wait 'til I'm gone..."

Her voice cracked and she heard the cars come to a stop and people rushing out of the car doors yelling demanding arrends. A few rushed by her side, and they were going to try and shove li out of the way, but Alexis gripped onto his sweater so they wouldn't be able to seperate her from him. She knew damn well she was about to die, so there was no point in them prying her away from him... denying her of her last sight to be him.. just to fail miserabley..

A bubbled of blood came up to her throat and she started to cough up some more... now unable to breath.. Her eyes searched Li's, her brows furrowing in a pleading call to make him never forget her.. but to move on at the same time. She just wished she was able to get the three words out...

I love you..

A bright light that appealed to her eyes had shone. washing away Li... washing away the pain she felt. It felt warm to her skin and left an aroma in her nostrils as well as a sweet taste on her tongue. It sparked all of her senses and was making her whipe clean from the world.. but she still had him on her mind...

Don't leave me...

Seeing her in so much pain, her body shaking like this broke his heart, shattering it glass into little shards, as he cried while holding her tightly in his arms, not only in sadness, but happiness as well, because she had said yes, even though she was dying. "This is the best day of my life too..." And he was completely sincere. Not getting away from his father, or finally able to access his money, but getting Alexis back, and marrying her, how ever informal it was. She was his, and only his, no one else's, not even the other guys she had slept with. "I will never leave you, even when you're gone, I will still be with you." He said firmly, even as tears continued to pour down his face as her voice cracked, breaking the shards of his heart even more into tinier pieces. The sound of tires screeching to a halt as shouts filled the air, giving commands.

A few of the medical personnel rushed to Alexis' side, trying to push Li out of the way, but Alexis had gripped Li's hoodie in her hands, as he held onto the green hoodie he had given her, preventing them from separating the two of them. She was dying, and they were denying him his last chance to see her, to hold her in his arms. Li was close to breaking down as he saw Alexis begin to cough up more blood before searching his eyes, as he began to sob. He could see her eyebrows furrowing, pleading with him as he understood, she didn't want him to ever forget her, but also move on. But she was his first love, and only love. He could never love another girl, and never would. "I love you..." He said softly, as he saw her eyes become unfocused, as he felt her body go limp in his arms. "Alexis...? ALEXIS!" He cried out, as he broke down, sobs wracking his body, as he held her in his arms, his face pressed against her stomach, as he cried into her body.

"Don't go... please don't go... don't leave me... You're the only girl I love... Alexis..." But she was gone, and she was never coming back. Li cried for several minutes, before finally letting the medical personnel take Alexis, to clean her body up for the funeral that Li would organize and pay for. Once the funeral was over, Li was going to leave San Francisco. He couldn't take staying here, not after this. He could never love another girl ever again. His heart was too shattered to ever put back together again.
