Every once in a while, the school held what was called a 'school activity night.' It was an evening that the students can come to school to dance, play basketball/whatever, swim, eat food at the concession stand, and basically just hang out. It was part of a program to encourage school interaction and keep kids off the streets, or something like that. Either way it was something to do that let them stay up late.
As long as it was a social event, you could bet Gwyn would be there. She was dressed in a vibrant red halter and dark skinny jeans with black and red striped leg warmers. Her wrists were bedazzled with bracelets and her hair was a mixture of blond and black with some red thrown in. Her eyes too were dolled up with black and red makeup, making her look fierce and feminine.
She never passed up a chance to show off.
Currently she was dancing with a blond haired boy, swaying closely to the music, her arms around his neck and his hands around her waist. They were talking, and she was laughing, batting her long dark eyelashes at him. The usual flirting routine. Once the song ended, they broke apart and she kissed him on the cheek, leaving a mark. But her game plans were to leave more than just an lipstick impression. She walked away, glancing back at him and winking, before heading off to the concession stand for a drink.

Nick had come to this "School Activity Night" or whatever it really was, to do one thing. Eat. If there was free food and it didn't seem like it was concocted in the cafeteria, Nick was there, perusing the food from the little crackers and cheese to the spiked punch bowl. He was sporting just a pair of jeans and and one of his tight T-shirts he usually wore under his hoodie that hugged his frame. No hoodie tonight because it was rather warm.
Well, he was also there for another reason. The only other obvious one. Finding new girls to flirt with. Or ones who he had already met but hadn't had the time to really speak to, as he saw the eccentric multi-color haired girl he knew to be named Gwyn walk over to where the food was being displayed.
It seemed she had just finished dancing and was taking a break for a bite to eat, and it gave Nick the perfect opportunity to go over to her and begin the ritual that was all too common for him by now.
"Hey, you're Gywn, right?" he said in his accent as he walked over to where she was standing, looking at her with an inquisitive stare, his eyes glimmering in the pale light.

Gwyn ordered a grape soda, taking a bill from her pocket and handing it to the person behind the counter. They handed her a cup with a top, and Gwyn grabbed a straw from the dispenser, ripping off the paper and popping it in the top.
"Hey, you're Gywn, right?"
Aqua hues glanced up to the source of the voice. She recognized him, though his name escaped her. He was the one at that party held by the Elmira girl (she remembered her name because it was in her phone).
That accent was really sexy though, and Gwyn smiled, sipping her soda.
"Hey, how are you?"

Nick smiled.
"I'm good. Just came here to see what it was all about, seemed interesting. How about you? You seem like you're having a good time."
Now that he was in conversation with her, he had the opportunity to get a good look at her. She had a very unique look to her and her hair was as vibrant as it was last time he saw her, yet some colors had changed. Nick's eyes scanned her body; she was definitely a cute girl. A bit eccentric, but cute nonetheless. It didn't matter to Nick, he usually found the stranger ones to be more interesting.
