Emily was sitting by the gate, waiting. For who? It was already obvious to anyone who knew her to know who she was waiting for. A boy who was very important to her. Unfortunately, it's been months and he hasn't even shown a shadow or a single strand of hair.
Oh, she missed him so.
Emily sighed.
"Good afternoon, Jon..." She said, her lips smiling.

His eyes wandered through the mist filled streets of the early mornings, his arms on the top of his head slowly rubbing it. He sighed and watched the blue skies blushing a bit. "Man, I wish today was more relaxing, been getting my ass kicked ever since I've been here, this schools way too tough." He looked forward now seeing the gates, his eyes wandered to the woman as he stopped.
"She's pretty." He said to himself in a small whisper walking forward his hands on the side of himself watching her as he smiled. "I wonder, is she a good fighter, she seems to be a petite girl." He sighed to himself. "As always looks can be deceiving, I thought the Captain was on par with me until I got a face full of his fist and a bleeding chest."
He only sighed in a depressive manner and closed his eyes walking forth still. "At least I'm not dead, and I'm getting stronger ever day." He wasn't watching where he was going, his body was going right towards the woman's as he chuckled. "I guess I'll have to go through even tougher training or somet-" He went forward quickly screaming as he had done so.

Emily had her share of defeat. Even in her massive improvement ever since she moved to long beach two years ago, she could remember a few significant losses. A sigh came into her mind, why the heck did she remember that fact? Man, she must've been missing fights.
She then heard someone talking. It was a masculine voice, though she couldn't tell what he was talking about. He seemed to be coming her way, and since Emily had never seen him before - she outright hypothesized him to be a native. Emily blinked and tensed when he ran forward, screaming. Okay, what was this guy trying to pull?
"Are you alright?" She said, sounding a bit flustered. Emily didn't think screaming around in public was normal though she believed she shouldn't judge this guy just yet. Hopefully, he was not one of those guys who just pick a fight for no reason.
Oh, man. This was going to be a long hour.

"Eh..." The boy arose slowly to watch the woman's face blushing deep red as he quickly leaped to his feet, chuckling with a nervous grin. "S-sorry, I was side-tracked and thinking of something, when I think of something I like, I close my eyes." His answer was simple and to the point.
"Are you OK, is the question I should be asking, I'm the idiot who slammed into you, I am such a goofy bastard." He said still nervous watching her. "U-um my names Kobushi, and yours is?" He placed his hand towards her watching her eyes with a innocent smile.

"Okay?" Emily said, tilting her head to the side a bit in confusion. Well, nothing she could do about that now. "I'm fine, I guess." Yeah, she guessed. She was a tank, for all anyone knew -- no matter how much she denied it.
"I'm Emily." She said, introducing herself after Kobushi gave his name. She felt slightly nervous, as she wasn't exactly used to such eye contact, and she felt his hand approaching her own -- which she quickly pulled back and placed on her back. "Ahaha, sorry -- I'm not exactly a fan of physical contact with people I barely know."
Emily didn't mean to be sounding elitist or something, but she was just not comfortable with that sort of 'intimacy' especially when they've only known each other for a second. "So, you're a student of Moral Crest as well?"

"Yes." He said blinking quickly watching the woman as he placed his arms to his side, still nervous. "I know, I'm a dirty idiot, I can understand why you wouldn't want to touch me, its completely fine." He said watching her smiling.

Emily sweatdropped. Well, she just wasn't used to it. Most women weren't and unfortunately, Emily was slightly conservative. You can't blame her though, considering she was raised on asian cultural standards. "I'm sorry."
She laughed nervously, "Anyways, are you from moral crest as well? I haven't seen you around school before."

"Just got here, and what about you, have you been here for a long time or, something?' He said simply with his hands now on his pockets. "Are you a junior or a sophomore?"

Emily thought a bit. Well, she hasn't been here for very long, but it felt like forever. Seriously, many things have been happening around her and the thing with the two teachers from the board was probably only the beginning. "Around less than three months." She told him, "I'm a Junior. Yourself?"
Actually, a couple of years too early to be a junior.

"Damn, your my senpai then, I'm a freshman!" He laughed quickly as he watched her. "Actually, the reason why I'm in this school is for training, I want to be the worlds top fighter, and this place is one of the best places to be the best fighter, period." He clenched his fist quickly.

Emily blinked. Boy, did this guy show zeal. He seemed to be the energetic type, though. So that dream was not actually much of a surprise, in fact: many other students within 42 dreamt of the same thing. That sort of thing never really interested Emily though. Her interest lies with people and dealing with them, how she got this powerful was something she had no idea about.
"The world's top fighter, huh?" She said leaping up and sitting on the wall again. "Lots of people within the school dream of the same thing, you know? Is that the only thing you have in mind for your future?"
Then again, this guy was just a freshman. The future was the least of his problems. After all, he got a few good years to think about where he should go.
