"It's for your own good. Trust me."
Those seven words echoed in his head like a tape recorder on repeat. The seven words that had pulled him out of New York City, the city he had grown up in, and thrown into here, in San Francisco, whereever this place was. The blue-haired junior situated himself outside the school gate, his hazel eyes staring past the large entrance. There were definitely more buildings than 552 had, and it seemed more... Sophisticated too. There were no graffiti on the walls, no blood stains, nothing. It almost seemed like the perfect school as compared to the battlefield that was 552.
Cain sighed. 552. As much as he did not want to admit it, he kinda missed the place. He missed the feeling of thrill and anticipation whenever he walked through the hallways. He missed the daily routine he had in the battlefield. He missed the challenges that powerful fighters there had provided him with, like Aria and Jay. He missed the friends and mentors he had made, like Ryorin and Narin. And most of all, he missed Leanne.
Another sigh escaped his parted lips, his eyes focused in front for the moment as finally, he started to make his way into the school compound. It had been three days since he moved to San Francisco and he had yet to befriend someone, or meet someone he knew. Not that he would know anyone in San Francisco but hey, it is a small world. You will never know who you'd meet along the street.
*Bump*
Cain's eyes slightly widened as he found himself being thrown forward. Had his reflexes kicked in a little later, he would have fallen on his face already, but no, the floor never had the pleasure as Cain's right foot swung in front, rooting itself onto the asphalt ground and stopping his fall completely. His right hand shot up, holding his backpack in place. What the hell just happened?
"Get out of my way, punk."
Cain turned around, finding himself then standing face to face with a large brute and five other students standing behind him. His attention, however, was directed completely at the gorilla that had shoved him. His hazel eyes stared intensely, the hospitality it was supposed to express turning into hostility as Cain tightened the grip on his backpack. His 552-personality kicked in and he stood his ground, not wanting to give in to the larger male.
"Didn't you hear me? I said get ou-"
The sentence was halted mid-way as a backpack would suddenly descend upon the side of the guy's head, throwing him off his feet and to the side. The five behind him would stare in surprise, still trying to take in what had happened. It was different for Cain, however, as he seized control of the whole situation with just a single swing of his right arm. At that, he let his right arm simply hung at his side, holding the bag's shoulder strap in his clenched fist. Turning towards the dazed gorilla, Cain finally replied.
"Am I still in your way?"

Would the past always catch up with her? Did history tend to be cyclical and repeat itself in the process? Leanne was beginning to believe that it were true that history does repeat itself yet her existence in itself was the epitome of all angst. Truly she didn't wish for it yet circumstances and realism does tend to make one quite dark and depressed. Either way, Leanne just hoped that her dark little story would be more of a fairytale and have the typical fairytale ending instead of the morbid one she had back at 552. So far her past was coming to catch up with her and testing her ability once again, yet she knew she would be too weak this time round to run headlong into the challenges yet she was too stubborn to let herself fall into protective arms.
Leanne was the type that would try and die fighting, however she disliked fighting without intelligence; meaning she had a distaste for people that just rush in and take action without thinking ahead. It wasn't as if she does not dash headstrong and take drastic measures without planning, it was just something she disliked and found foolish.
However what came at her next was something she had not in her wildest dreams would ever expect. It was just another day at the new and foreign environment before she caught sight of a familiar blue blur. Blonde and Blue? The two combination of colours were all too familiar and it made Leanne freeze in her tracks as she fought the urge to rub her eyes or pinch herself to make sure she was not just dreaming. Her heart wrenched as she realized just who it was, even with the physical changes and the gaze in his eyes Leanne could tell who it was.
Cain.
She really couldn't believe it, and she just literally froze. Yes, repeating the fact that she froze in her tracks. Leanne faltered and wonder if she should just turn around and go seeing that Cain himself would definately be strong enough to take on those punks, yet then again, Leanne had always hated the idea of Cain fighting. Leaving him there would go against all she believed in! Dropping her bag on the side Leanne zipped up her white hoodie as she slipped her large hood over her head as it shieldedher face, yet it also limited her peripherals.
"Am I still in your way?"
"W-why...you little...." the brute snarled as he and his goons advanced towards Cain as they sent their attacks.
Leanne came from behind them and took their arm pressing her knee against theirs making them crumple to the ground as she pulled the arm with her right arm gripping theirs holding it in place while the other pressed against their shoulder threatening to break the arm.
"A-Ahhhh!" the guy muttered as he worried for the saftey of his arm. Leanne sighed and knocked the guy out as she hit the pressure point behind his neck before one of the other brutes came at her.
It just so happened to be one of the guys that Li punched out the other day, and similiarily the one that Leanne kicked in the crotch. What fun and what coincidence! Giving the guy a small smile as she lifted her head to greet him the guy, surprised, stepped back giving time for Leanne to throw in a quick nose breaking motion as she pressed the base of her palm upwards towards it.
As she was taking care of that guy she stole a quick glance at Cain.

"W-why...you little...."
Cain simply stared down at the male, silencing him as his glare sharpened, almost like daggers now. The man gulped, freezing in his tracks then, unsure of what to do. Cain had moved with such impressive speed that he had not even noticed his arm moving. Who was this guy? This Blue Blur? How can a new guy be so fast and powerful? Where was he from? These thoughts rushed through the giant's head, and his minions finally senses his insecurity and stepped forward to aid their idol. However, another individual would come from behind the five, skillfully bringing down one of them.
Cain was shocked.
No, he was not shocked at the fine display of skill, no. Cain was shocked at the sense of familiarity the girl was giving him. True, she had her head and the most of her face covered by the hood, but her general person seemed all too familiar to Cain, though he could not pin it down. Who was this girl? Why did her fighting style seem so familiar? It was Cain's turn to pose questions, simply watching as the hooded girl took down another one.
And at that, their eyes met for a brief moment.
Though, all it took was a brief moment for Cain to conclude who the hooded female was. Those deep blue eyes were all too familiar to him, for they were the only things he would dream about every night. His eyes widened, his body stiffening as he suddenly froze on the spot, literally. His eyes stared forward without even the slightest of twitches. His mind just went blank, the junior almost a statue now, were it not for his shirt and his hair that danced with the wind.
In fact, he was so deep into shock that he did not even notice the punch that was coming straight for him. It landed hard on his chin, sending him staggering to the side, snapping Cain out of his trance. The blue-haired fighter let out a small grunt, his right hand coming up to massage his chin as he straightened himself, his fighting instincts returning as he glared at the one that had come to attack him. The man had actually landed a hit on him. Cain was certainly not happy about that.
The Smurf darted forward, grabbing the man's outstretched right hand by the wrist with his left, before pulling on it. At that, his right hand would swing in, catching the man's elbow and fracturing it, causing the male to yell briefly, before being silenced by a right elbow, throwing him off his feet, only to be pulled back by Cain's left hand, a knee this time coming up to meet his solar plexus. Three simultaneous contacts, and the man was left unconscious on the ground. That left two more.

Leanne felt their eyes meet for a second and she quickly turned away. Her heart pounded against chest for two reasons. The first being the reason that she was scared that she was found out. The second being the relief, joy, and anxiety of being able to see him again. It had been too long and Leanne really wanted to glance at him longer but the violent brutes were preventing her from escaping and cherishing the moment! As she turned back to the guy with the broken nose Leanne quickly kneed him in the gut sending him crouched down on the ground due to pain and due the wind getting knocked out of him.
She saw Cain take care of the talkative fighter while there were two more left. One of them were occupied with Leanne and the other was turning towards Cain once the first guy was down. Leanne wasn't surprised to see all the jerks she had already met being in the same group. The next guy just so happened to be the guy that was flirting with her one her third day! And it was also the guy that said no one would want her because of her scar. Jerk.
Even though Leanne didn't want to be offended by the guy or get hurt by his statement she was still a girl and, yes, having a scar on your face was one of the worst things that one could ever have! So, it wouldn't be a surprise for Leanne to hold a grudge against the guy even if she wasn't aware of her growing anger towards him. He came towards her with his arms outstretch. Leanne dashed forward, but she wasn't as fast as she used to be hence as he dove forward to tackle her small body to the ground she was unable to dodge it quick enough.
She felt her back hit the ground as the heavy and much larger body of the guy came crashing down on top as well squishing the dear life out of her. Jerk. Leanne glared at him with all the anger she could muster yet it seemed the guy was angry at her because she had ignored him the other day as one of his hands threatened to crush her throat while a punch came flying towards her face.
"That's for ignoring me."
Leanne wasted no time retorting back as she took her hands and grabbed his wrists as she took her right leg and slipped it so that it rested on his right shoulder. Although she wasn't as physically strong as before, she was still able to force the guy off her as she flipped him over using her leg as leverage. Leanne quickly stole a punch as she hit him across the cheek bone twice in the same area. Of course he wasn't done yet as he pushed her over again however this time Leanne was being cheap and kicked him where boys shouldn't be kicked and sent him to the ground.
"That's for punching me."
Yeah, okay, maybe Leanne did change more than just a little in personality. She got more cheeky! She flipped her hood back on as she began to walk away.

Whoever these guys were, they were really stupid. Despite seeing how well the two could fight, they still decided to take on the pair alone, making it a double one-on-one fight. Cain could only sigh at their foolishness, watching as the one he had been paired up with started to dash towards him. Once again, they had proven that they had too little brains for their own good. Cain took a few steps forward, pacing himself as compared to his opponent, waiting for him instead of charging head-on. At that, they were at a reasonable distance to attack, and his opponent threw a right roundhouse kick towards Cain's waist.
Cain had caught it, however, and he threw his upper body downwards, his front leg folding by the knee to allow him to do as such. His left arm would swing forward, folded at the elbow as it found the inner side of the man's thigh, damaging the muscle directly. He was going to have problems with that leg for the rest of the week, that was for sure. Before that pain could register into the thug's head, though, Cain's right fist would take the clear opening and send itself driving hard into his lower abdomen, causing him to double over and stagger backwards.
Cain, however, was relentless as he recovered from his awkward position, approaching his opponent who was leaning on his left leg, both arms over his stomach as he bent forward, trying to ease the pain he was feeling at his diaphragm. Too bad. Cain swung his right foot upwards, barely missing the man's head. As soon as his foot found the peak of its rise, Cain would lean forward as he brought it downwards, his heel finding the back of the man's head. The force was enough to throw him down headfirst into the ground, the impact so hard his head bounced off the ground.
So to say, Cain had grown more brutal over the weeks.
He looked up then at his new ally, watching as she disabled the male with a quick and crisp kick. However, that was not what Cain was paying attention to, no. He finally noticed the blonde hair and the fair skin of the very someone he had been longing for. Once more, he was thrown into a trance, unable to help himself as he simply stared in disbelief. Was it really her? Cain's heart told him she was, but his mind said otherwise, saying that it was simply a coincidence, that she simply looked like her. However, he could not help himself as she put her hood back on and started to walk away.

"... Leanne?"
Although she told herself to keep walking Leanne found herself shocked, and frozen in place. He wasn't supposed to remember her nor recognize her. The familiar voice, and presence of the male was enough to throw her off already, but hearing him call out to her brought back the agonizing memory of her departure. How cold she was when she left him, how indifferent and cruel. She knew she hurt him, and not just lightly either. Leanne may hold physical scars, but Cain held emotional ones, and she was the one to blame. Was it right for her to even want to turn around to see him?
Why did it come to this?
Leanne found herself rooted to her spot even as she kept repeating to herself to move. She didn't know what to do, her heart and her mind were telling her different things. Leanne clearly showed this conflict as she stayed in her spot yet revealed her identity instead of denying it.
"I-I'm sorry...Cain. I'm so sorry." Leanne said with her back against him.
She didn't want him to see her pained expression. No, she didn't want to see his. Leanne didn't know if she could stand seeing Cain in any kind of pain anymore. She didn't want to turn around to see her unborn child's face in his. What would she tell him? No, Leanne wouldn't tell him. She couldn't understand why, as she refused to link love to him as she was afraid. Afraid of being abandoned again. What would he do? What should she do?
Trapped in this internal conflict, Leanne fought the urge to just turn around, say screw it and hug him no matter how much he may hate her or whatever consequences there would be. Yet, she couldn't take the thought of making some kind of mistake in all this, even though she already did by not walking away denying her identity.

And the female stopped in her tracks, much to Cain's heart's joy. However, his conscious shouted at him, urging him to just turn away and walk. She had left him almost a year ago, all because Cain had business to do and he did not listen to Leanne when she asked him to stop. She left him to suffer on his own. Those nights had not been peaceful indeed. If she had left him all those months ago, why should he crawl back to her? Cain was stronger than that, or at least, that was what he was telling himself. And yet, his heart fought back, as if being drawn in by Leanne's presence as he took his first step forward.
"I-I'm sorry...Cain. I'm so sorry."
More memories came back, after Leanne left Cain. She had talked to Jethro, the Headmaster then and formed the Student Council, a student leader group with the same power and influence as the School Captain and his pillars. Leanne actually decided to compete with Cain for power, making it a whole lot harder for Cain to do his job. The student body had been divided into two, and as Leanne attempted to take over the whole school, Cain found himself working every single minute to keep the students in check, quenching riots and such. So to say, Cain was actually cleaning up the mess both of them were making.
And he was overworking himself. He had many sleepless nights, as evident from the bagginess under his eyes those days, though mostly hidden from the bruises he had received when against a larger number of students. More than once, he had passed out at home out of exhaustion, waking up in the middle of the night sometimes in the hospital, much thanks to Chrynos. It was his employer that pulled him out of New York, away from 552, away from Jethro and away from Leanne.
And now, she was back here, right in front of him. It was Chrynos that put them together under the same roof, and now, it seemed that he had accidentally done it again, this time the roof of the school.
Cain reached Leanne soon enough. His body moved automatically, as if his heart was taking over the throne that his mind held over his body, despite his mind's protests. His hand raised up, grabbing the back of Leanne's hood and slowly, he pulled it off her head.

Suddenly the fabric that resided as the barrier between her identity and Cain had been lifted yet Leanne swiftly turned around raising her hand to grasp his to stop him. Her hood hid the side of her face well, where the scar remained. Perhaps Cain would be surprised, then again, it wasn't as if he never saw her with this kind of expression. Leanne had finally faced Cain, face to face, in front of him as their eyes met although her expression and aura was not dignified, cold, reserved, nor cruel. Instead her blue orbs were glassy, hurt, doe-eyed like a deer in headlights. Her expression was surprised mixed with bitter sorrow along with the same fatigue that he held.
"D-don't..." Leanne said softly as she found her heart skipping a beat after not seeing him in the long period of time. She subconsciously released her hand and placed it over her scar, hiding it from his gaze. He had grown taller, and his face etched with matured features, yet there were not signs of joy more so his masculinity was caused by the pain that was ushered to his doorstep from the present years.
"You shouldn't associate yourself with the likes of me anymore..." she started as the words of the male that laid on the floor she had previously kicked flooded into her mind, "No one would even want or lay eyes on a damaged...product. Forget me."
Leanne gave a mournful look before she hesistated before taking a step backwards. She missed him. She missed him a lot. She wanted to him to hold her and kiss her, but that wouldn't happen, they were almost like enemies but not really. Leanne wanted to tell him everything, the truth about her actions and what happened after, however she found herself unable.

His hand, however, was stopped as Leanne grabbed his hand, the warmth feeling of her touch filling his hand, a touch he had been longing for for so long. Cain flinched after experiencing it once more, resisting the temptation to just give in right there, his body's two most important organs still debating with one another as to what his next move was going to be. Walk away, or stay. He stared into her eyes, their coincidentally matched hues locking with each other, slightly covered by their equally matched hair. He kept his face firm, not wanting to show the desperation that he was feeling, but the wetness of his eyes betrayed him.
"D-don't..."
And she removed her hand, Cain's fingers twitching at the loss of contact as she placed it on the side of her face, Cain's eyes subconsciously wandering towards it. Around them, the six male lay on the ground, some groaning, others silent, none of them able to stand up.
"You shouldn't associate yourself with the likes of me anymore... No one would even want or lay eyes on a damaged...product. Forget me."
And she took her first step away from him, the very motion sending a dagger to Cain's heart as he simply looked at her. He closed his eyes for a moment, letting out a soft gulp. Taking a deep breathe, then, he calmed himself, driving away the tears that was storing up in his eyes as he looked up at Leanne once more..
"... I never once blamed you for leaving me..."
And what did she mean by damaged product? His eyebrows furrowed slightly as his heart once more took over, the male taking a step forward, his right hand reaching up then and gently grabbing the wrist that covered her face. What was she hiding?

"... I never once blamed you for leaving me..."
Once again he was successful in preventing her escaping that alluring presence of his. What was even worse was the fact that he wouldn't take the easy way out and hate her, forget about her and blame her. Leanne wanted to call him and idiot and tell Cain to just hate her because she knew she would hurt him again. If he knew what happened. If he knew her secrets he'd be even more hurt and if he hated her by then, then it'll be fine right? Then again there Leanne was again making decisions for someone else. She didn't change one bit, yet foolish enough to realize her mistake yet go along with it again.
However, when Cain reached up to grab Leanne's wrist, an odd flashback came back to her mind. When she glanced down at the agonized males that remained on the ground, their groans along with the grasp on her wrist reminded her of her attack. And, for a split second Leanne's eyes held terror, fear and tears started spilling out. It wasn't Cain infront of her anymore it was her attacker. Her hand grew weak as it fell from her face revealing the scar that she hid from Cain. However, once she found her way back to Cain's eyes her tears stopped but the pounding in her heart continued and it was the only sound she could hear again.
She didn't want it to happen. Not again. She couldn't stand the idea of having lost her child.
"I-I'm sorry Cain. I-...I don't know how to even start. You should blame me. I've done something t-terrible." Leanne said choking back tears. She didn't want to tell him, but he had the right to know...right?

And the moment he touched her, her tears simply flowed, a reaction that Cain somewhat expected, though for what reason, he was still unsure of. His left hand twitched, almost reaching up to wipe away her tears, but instead stopped as Cain pulled her hand down. It was an easier task than expected, though, as Leanne seemed to drop her hand on her own choice and there, he saw it, on the side of face was a scar. His eyes widened as a sense of anger filled him. What had happened? Who had done this? Was it Jay?
"I-I'm sorry Cain. I-...I don't know how to even start. You should blame me. I've done something t-terrible."
Cain looked at her, his eyes wandering from her scar to her sapphire hues. His right hand released her wrist, reaching up to her cheek as he wiped away the tear that idled there. His hand dropped, however, as he looked away for a moment, thinking back as to what had caused this seemingly perfect relationship between them to end before. Ah, yes, he remembered it now. He was fighting against one of the strongest fighters in the school, and Leanne had always been worrying about him, especially after his first job where he almost died, were it not for Leanne.
She had tried to stop him, but he had simply pushed her aside, placing his job in front of her. He knew that had been wrong and as much as he regretted doing so, he also did not. It had helped show Jay that he could be challenged, and also place him at a higher position of influence in school. The pillars had been challenged, and it was none other than their very own school captain. However, how did that turn out for Cain, exactly?
He looked back up at Leanne then.
"So did I... I'm sorry for what I did that day. I had not meant to have treated you so coldly."
They really needed to talk.

And they would.
Leanne savored the soft touch of his hand against her cheek as he brushed a stray, stubborn tear away from her pale. Although, she was really genuinely happy to see him, the resolution she held in her heart was a heavy burden to bear. She had decided to follow her heart, for once, and let Cain know everything he deserved to know. After this, Leanne knew that he'd probably hate her and even if he didn't things would definitely never be the same. She'd hate to tell him on the first day he was at school, but it was best to get all the misunderstandings and secrets out of the way. The two of them wanted a new beginning right? Then all must be told.
"So did I... I'm sorry for what I did that day. I had not meant to have treated you so coldly."
"Let's...talk a bit before our classes start." Leanne would say as mustered up a small smile before it faltered falling back to an emotionless line.
Drawing in a deep breath to keep her thoughts straight Leanne tried to ignore the bad flashbacks. Teenage angst is absolutely despicable yet realistically, how could you blame her? She was still a teen, still a child. Taking Cain's hand in hers she intertwined her fingers with his; if he allowed her. It may just be the last time she might be able to do this. Yes, she was taking advantage of the situation and she felt bad about it, but she wanted to be selfish.
Leading him away from the fallen students Leanne took Cain into the school slowly allowing him to take a look around his new school. She'd lead him up to the abandoned practice rooms where musicians book to practice their instruments and what not. However, it was still early in the morning and no students were in it yet so Leanne took the liberty to take Cain into one of the rooms if he so allowed her.
Once they were inside she'd close the door behind them as she'd sit down on the piano bench.
"I'll tell you everything from the beginning. Ignoring me is...miniscule to the damage I have done." Leanne said as she got ready to tell him.
"I left because I thought I would be able to obtain power in another way and prevent you from fighting. After your first job I couldn't...and I still can't bear to see you get hurt. So I hoped to challenge your position as School Captain by being the Student Council President. However, I couldn't carry out my plan if I stayed by you because our interest clash very deeply. So I left. The Council was only the cover. The riot that was created in the school was created by me.
Minerva was a group I created with the help of Jay and another student who had wanted to fund our movement. You could say Jay and I were in a relationship of convenience. I wanted his strength, and support. I wanted to create a school where fear would stop the students from fighting and perhaps then you'd stop having to fight. But, obviously I was just being very naive in thinking that as I made decisions for others when I don't have the right to.
As for Jay, it wasn't just as simple. When I left, I had no one else to turn to so I went to him and it was then I found out that I was pregnant. No...not...not with Jay's child. I-I owe a lot to Jay. He took care of me all this time and I am extremely grateful of him. So I suppose I can say I'm glad that he lost his memories now so he doesn't have to carry my burden.
Sorry this is fragmented, but...because of the riot, I was attacked by someone who was unhappy about how I wasn't able to protect the students." Leanne paused as she stole a look at Cain, she was worried about how he'd react, his expression.
"I...had lost... the baby at that time..." It came out as a weak whisper. She was fearful of how Cain would react.
There was still at least thirty minutes before class would start. But time just seemed to tick a lot longer with the silence of the music room.

"Let's...talk a bit before our classes start."
Cain looked at her for a moment, taking in his surroundings then as he heard the grunts and groans from the fallen bullies that surrounded them. At that, he nodded his head and was about to ask where when she grabbed his hand, his fingers being placed between hers. As soon as she did, Cain squeezed her hand gently, gesturing that he welcomed the contact and did not want to let go as of yet. At that, she turned around and started to lead her into the school.
Briefly, he glanced around the school, taking in the facilities and also the kind of people that were around. Like every school, 42 also seemed to have its cliques. He saw small frail boys with glasses, girls who donned too much mascara and black clothing, large men in varsity jackets. This was certainly like any other school. Of course, there were fights too. In fact, Cain could have sworn he saw one in the basketball court a distance off.
Then, they entered an empty room, of which Cain thought to be some kind of music room, considering the instruments there that were present. Other than them, there was nothing else. As they entered, Cain closed the door behind him, his mind now back into focus as he turned towards Leanne, wondering what was it she wanted to talk about. Hopefully, Cain thought, she was not going to push him away again...
Then, she started to explain herself, saying that she had left him not because she was angry at him, but because she wanted to take care of him. His eyes widened as he took in every word, the blue-haired male standing there, staring blankly at her. She had caused the riot? The same one that humiliated Narin? The same one that Cain had been forced to fight beyond his limits and actually passed out the moment he reached home?
Then, she explained her reasoning. To create a school controlled by fear? Minerva? Questions poured into Cain's head as he started to feel his legs weaken. All these time, when Cain had been fighting against Leanne and getting frustrated at what she was doing to the student body, she had actually been doing it for him.
The topic turned to Jay, as she talked about retreating to him after she left Cain. Pregnant? Cain's eyes could not have gotten wider. She was pregnant with Jay's child? She had slept with Jay? Cain's heart ached. However, it did not last long as Leanne pointed out that it was not Jay's child. Cain stared at her. Then who's was i-... The Blonde & Blues. Cain's legs finally collapsed as he fell backwards, his back hitting the wall behind him.
She continued, then, saying about Jay losing his memory, though Cain could care less about that at the moment. His mind was on the child that was supposed to be his. Where was it? And finally, he got his answer. Someone had attacked her after the riot, or during, he was not sure. She had lost the baby. The man had taken away their baby. Cain lost his mind.
He slid down the wall, falling on his bottom with his legs in front of him, knees peaked and pointing at the ceiling as he stared at the floor in front of him. He placed his hands on his forehead, pressing hard against it. He had failed her...
He had failed his child...
He had abandoned them...

Leanne knew it was all to difficult to absorb at one time. All the information that challenged what he believed in and had thought to be true was clearly overwhelming and Leanne was indeed largely responsible for all the grief she brought him. However, if they wanted to start fresh, and wanted a new beginning they needed to know everything. They must clear everything up and find a way to hurdle across it. However, Leanne found herself jumping out of her chair towards Cain when he slumped down to the floor as he pressed his hands against his forehead.
It was too much for him, Leanne knew it. Especially the last part where she herself had not even gotten over yet. She found herself quickly at his aid beside him yet she didn't know what to do. Leanne found disgust within herself that she wouldn't even want her to taint Cain with her filthy hands. She had done so many things that she regretted and caused so much pain for him. Her hands had hurt him so much. Her hands lingered over his form for a moment before she just took decided with heart over mind.
Wrapping her arms around him she held him close.
"I'm...sorry..I...I took matters into my own hands. It wasn't fair to you at all. Y-you can hate me if you wish, hit me, anything. I deserve that. I...I'm so sorry."
Leanne bit her lower lip as it trembled as fresh tears threatened to fall again. She never cried so much in her life, but once again, there were only those few people that were able to really draw out her real emotions. The one who had the greatest effect on her was the man in her arms, Cain.
Weak.
She felt weak to be so emotional but would she be human if she were still her cold, indifferent self?

Violence. Sometimes, it's the only solution.

"I'm...sorry..I...I took matters into my own hands. It wasn't fair to you at all. Y-you can hate me if you wish, hit me, anything. I deserve that. I...I'm so sorry."
Cain felt her arms envelope him, but did nothing as he continued to try and absorb everything that she had told him. Everything she had done, everything she had endured, had all been for him. And to think, he had actually been resisting her attempts to try and take over the school. He had only made it harder for her. Hell, he could have been the cause of his child's death, for all he knew. What if he had not challenged Jay? What if he had not agreed to take up the School Captain title?
They would not have needed to go through S.E.R.E.. Leanne would not have had left him. Minerva or the Student Council would not have been formed. The mass riots would not have occurred. Cain would not have needed to leave New York. He could be back at the penthouse, with Leanne and their newborn child. But no, that bright and better future had been taken away, by his choices.
How could he had been so blind? Why had he not noticed that Leanne was pregnant? Hell, he did not even think about it after that night after the Blonde & Blues. He leaned his head forward, before jerking it backwards, hitting it hard against the wall. The loud thud echoed in the empty room as a tear finally rolled down his cheek. At that, his body started to move as he returned Leanne's embrace.
"I can't believe I-I was so blind... I'm sorry too, Leanne. Sorry for making decisions without thinking it through, without thinking how it would affect us... Please, give me a second chance. I'll treat you better. I'll treat us better. I won't ever leave you."
And words just rushed out from his mouth.
