"I see. So the pillars and those army of students, they aren't doing anything for the school then? Just abusing their power and you just want to take that power for the students and have everyone to decide what happens in the school?"
Gabriel nodded lightly, "Thats exactly it, I'm not even in it for the power, the only reason I'm here is because no one else is willing to stand against them." His voice was low and solemn remembering how many dispute were lost in an effort to retake them.
"Though our numbers are increasing each day, at this point we outnumber them by a great margin yet our organization is poor and there are still several of which who are against resorting to any violent matters." He nodded again, "The Dragons are helping the hierarchy as well, ever heard of a man by the name of Leon Sudeki?"
Gabriel remembered him quite well, they'd only met once but the man was powerful enough to take out enough people to not bother with him. "They take after his brutality, most of em at least only one or two in the hierarchy are civil enough to hold a conversation with us without the threat of violence, thats why it must be done." However much we're all opposed to it.

"I'm sorry I haven't heard of him, but I can understand. But do you think the students even have the ability and responsibility to make these decisions. In my opinion not a lot of people are responsible, nor mature enough to make decisions for themselves.
People would just create chaos and no one will be satisfied when everyone has differen't needs, and views. What may be right for one person may not be for another although I understand that the majority would be happy. What about the minority? What happens if the minority revolts and does something similiar to what you're trying to do? I don't think there's any way to stop corruption or to satisfy anyone. I'm just wondering how this would work if it were to succeed since most of the school's students seem to be very violent mirroring the brutality of these pillars."
Leanne wondered how it would work. Democracy is nice, yes, but it only helps the majority and yet the majority may not even be satisfied. What would the pillars do after they were ousted from thier position. Ah, too many possibilities!

Gabriel agreed to some aspects thats where the second phase of the plan came in, though he wouldn't share it with her he'd be thinking of it. A cruel decision he'd have to make and certainly some cruel things he'd have to undermine while going through the phase. Things would get very rough around here and certainly a lot of blood would be spilled.
"Yes, though I'm hoping that a democracy run by the students will help us all out in the long run, if a corrupt member comes to power than people can simply vote him out and if need be the student body will rise up and forcibly remove them."
He had some wild fantasies about how the world should be and then there was the reality of what it was, a cruel harsh place where everyone was only out for their own objectives.
"People have to hope for something... Thats what I want to be able to pass down."

"People have to hope for something... Thats what I want to be able to pass down."
Hope.
Leanne knew all too well the consequences of hope. Yes, she tied a negative connotation with the word. Optimism and hope only let her down the past few years. Yet, Leanne couldn't help but smile at the comment. It was naive and yet Leanne wanted to believe in what he said as well. Something told her to take what he said to heart and perhaps apply it to her monochrome life, yet her over cautious personality prevented it.
"Thats...a really nice way to go by. But don't get your hopes up to high before it comes crashing down and leave you broken."
It was the first time Leanne actually was so cold and blunt about her feelings towards Gabrile. Here this guy was, all nice and courteous towards her telling her his dreams and goals while she told him that when they fail he shouldn't be surprised. Leanne just wanted to be the first warning, she didn't want him to be let down and feel the lash of defeat like she had.

He rubbed a shoulder knocking back the comment, he wasn't much of an optimist either, though it was the leader who had to lie in order to have those following to believe him. Sometimes Gabriel played it so well he convinced himself, if only for but a short while. Shaking his head he looked at Leanne solemnly.
"No, I understand completely had a few rough times myself" He said with a gleaming smile, "sometimes you prove who you really are by fighting through the rough times, its just a cycle being the stronger person isn't necessarily knowing that things will always go wrong its being optimistic when they're down and prepared when they are up."
It was an interesting way to think about it, through all Gabriel had been through never did he truly give up. There were moments that life seemed to be unbearable, hope too. Always there was someone to help him, now he had his chance to help others.

Ah, that was something she totally agreed with.
"It's always best to die trying right?" Leanne said with a small laugh, "I totally agree with you on that point. My pride and dignity wouldn't let me continue on if I just accepted my defeat there. Plus, there's no fun in just letting myself get trampled over. A challenge is a challenge and people must get up when they're down no matter how hard it is."
Yes what she said was cheesy, but Leanne liked to live by that. Although she wasn't show much of that at the moment, she wanted to believe in it, no, she did. Leanne like always, was contradicting herself. Then again she was still trying to find out who she was and how she feels. There's always the constant battle of emotion versus reason in her mind.

Gabriel smirked when Leanne laughed he always enjoyed seeing someone smile it took a great burden off of him, "Better to die on your feet then at your knees..."
He turned to signal a waiter, "Whatever you want it's on me." He said briefly to Leanne as the waiter maid his approach.
The kid looked to be just out of high school not much more than a year older than either of them, he wore mostly black and the tunic the business forced him to wear so that he would look "presentable" to whomever ordered.
"May I help you?" he said in a trained courteous voice.
"Ladies first?" Gabriel said once more offering up generously.
Shortly after the waiter was gone he'd proced to the conversation again, "So what do you think of this whole thing? Too risky?"

Soon enough the waiter came over and Gabriel offered the meal as his treat. Even though Leanne wanted to protest she was sure that his gentleman exterior would not allow her to pay for herself or him in any aspect. Now, this battle she'll go down without a fight, perhaps at a later date she'll treat him to something as well. Better to plan something later than argue over the bill.
"An Oreo cheesecake please."
Once the waiter was gone Gabriel went back to discussing his plan.
"So what do you think of this whole thing? Too risky?"
"Hmm I don't think so, I think it's worth a shot if a lot of people are unhappy with it. Although, you really do need a reason to have people back you up besides overthrowing the pillars. After you guys get the power or authority, what are you going to do? I don't think having people decide then would be very efficient. It'd just seem sloppy and poorly planned."

Gabriel sighed, "Yes I do understand the consequences of such a thing... I have indeed had ample time to think on it."
Gabriel remembered back to the early days at PHS #259, when he interacted with unfettered, this was the man's dream, it was to have the pillar's hierarchy demolished. Though there was something not working or in the least bit not working fast enough. The vision he had lacked support and strength. they'd gotten close when Emily was given the title of School Captain but it was lost and Unfettered hesitated to capitalize on the situation. Thats where Gabriel saw weakness in the man, his warmth made him sloppy and miss the target rather than pursue it till it was finished.
"My predecessor, A man who is very well respected here, even amongst his foes told me has plans for it." Gabriel started easily at the very least a bit open hearted about the situation, "Like now they were very sloppy, though I've worked what I could out and now we have a chance to test them, the only thing harkening our chances are the students unwilling to proceed."
He realized democracy had its set backs, it was far too slow to get things passed and it would surely require some dictoral powers to get the ball rolling but in the same instant it would take a benevolent leader to step down from that power and let democracy have it's shot, Gabriel believed he could do that he'd be ready.

Hmm, his predecessor? Leanne wondered who that man was but the latter portion of his comment caught her attention. Why? Because it had the cruelty of reality that laced the words. Why would the students follow, will the follow? Many people are just too lazy, they needed some motivation. Even if they wanted change not many would get-up and go, and even if they do they may drop out sooner or later.
"Yes, that is true, many students are not very ambitious or willing to follow plans." Leanne said with a small smile as the waiter brought them their items.
"Do you mind telling me who your predecessor is? Just out of curiousity and such."
Leanne wondered if this democractic rule would work well in a violent and messy school like Moral Crest. Would students, children and mere teenagers like themselves actually have the responsibility and will to make change? Sure there were individuals yet the small numbers compared to the thousands within the school that are unwilling to participate and get into motion? It would be difficult.

Gabriel gave a short smile, "A man who calls himself Unfettered, if you haven't heard of him yet I'm sure you will soon enough."
He started off giving away Jon's great reputation, the man was a strange visionary. Gabriel remembered their first meeting and very soon after a chess game he was excelled to the strategist of the militia. What a short time and look what he'd become a leader in his own regards.
"Yea, this was his end goal, to see this school at peace and I'm doing as best as can be managed to keep his legacy going..."

"A man who calls himself Unfettered, if you haven't heard of him yet I'm sure you will soon enough."
"Nope, haven't heard of him."
Leanne wondered if she would hear of his name, although Gabriel seemed certain that she would. Oh politics, what a wonderful thing in highschool. Leanne was a little excited for the events that were going to occur in the school. No, not excited for bloodshed or violence, but for change and the ideas people would implement. After all different people had different approaches and Leanne wanted to observe, and play bystander unless she felt interested enough to partake.
"Yea, this was his end goal, to see this school at peace and I'm doing as best as can be managed to keep his legacy going..."
"I see, that's a big dream and big goal. I'm sure you'll give it a good shot. Good luck to you m'dear." Leanne said before sticking her fork into her cheesecake and taking a bite.
"Mm, this is really good." Leanne exclaimed, surprised.

He smiled finally feeling free from all the serious business.
"It had better be, seeing as this is one of the nicer places down here." Gabriel pointed out with a small chuckle.
His hand slid a weak grasp on the fork taking a bit of his own. Chewing it slowly, savoring the sweet bits down with easy gulps.
"So, you taking place in any clubs on school? I'm sure you'd make a fine addition to the French club."

"So, you taking place in any clubs on school? I'm sure you'd make a fine addition to the French club."
"Oh I don't know, clubs don't really seem to be my thing, at least I haven't found one that I'm interested in. Afterall I'm not all that social..." Leanne said trailing off a little.
She was a little unsure and uneasy about the idea of joining clubs. Although she wasn't sure why, but perhaps it was just the fact that she was afraid to deepen ties with others, especially when she was terrified of being betrayed, backstabbed or losing someone from her life. Even though that feeling is extreme, Leanne couldn't stop that floating thought from dictating her relationships, at least at this moment in her life. Perhaps it'll change in the future with people that would change her.
"How about you, are you in any clubs?"
Leanne turned to the side to find a young girl standing by their table with a notecard in her hand. She was around five feet and looked as if she were a freshman.
"E-excuse m-me. My classmates decided to make a quest for people to complete for a fundraiser. If you complete it, you win a prize, if you give up you don't get the prize, but an entry fee of five dollars is required to enter...and the m-money goes to t-the Children's H-hospital!"
Leanne's eyes softened, she did have a soft spot for children and innocent little people after all.
"What do you say Mr. Gabriel, are you up for a treasure hunt after we're done here?"

Ah so she was just as much a loner as he, not that it was necessarily a good thing but he felt that the two could be friends after all. They would have some commonalities at least that didn't end up clashing with one another. A quick smile.
"I'm in the fencing club and figured I might as well join the French club seeing as though I am a kin to that." He shimmered another wide smiled before looking down upon the small looking freshman girl who handled over Leanne a card.
"What do you say Mr. Gabriel, are you up for a treasure hunt after we're done here?"
He cocked a brow before grinning, "By all means lead on Miss. Leanne." Gabriel would hand over ample money to the smaller girl without acknowledging the fact that it was a good ten or more times the asking price for admission.
