OOC: Connor
Patrick was back. After a long stint of skipping school getting drunk passing out and doing it all over again. No, he wasn't partying. He never did that kind of stuff. He wasn't the type. More to the point he was not the type to get drunk for the fun. It was to forget. Personal ascetisim was at an all time high and he could not seem to beat it out of him. Nah all that was crap. He was just a bitter young man that had nothing left to live for in life at such a oung age. In his pain he was opened to the truth of the world and the reality that there was no such thing as morals, or at least there was no place for them in this world. In return he had decided that he was going to live life the way it was meant to be lived by the principle of "Take what you want, get away with what you can." But that was a failure to some degree, he could not as much as he tried, he could not forget the past.
So he had been away from school for a long time, why he had returned was a question that had a less then satisfying answer. Simply because he felt like it. There was no other reason really. The monotoney of sitting in his truck, getting drunk, passing out and repeating was getting to him. It was time to go back to school. To learn? Maybe, most likely not. Maybe it was for the challenge. The fights. But not really, he wanted nothing more then to be left alone. But he knew that there was no chance for that at school. Mixed emotions really. He hoped that after a month he would still be remembered and his reputation still feared. Oddly at the same time he hoped only slightly that it was not. He knew though that at a school like this where kids went to the hospital often and occasionally the morgue it was likely that the ones who knew him, feared him were there. Still there was a chance, whispers of his fury and rampages may remain. Wondering all this Patrick walked into the halls of PHS 42. __________________________________________________
The first hour of the day had gone by to be expected. He knew that there would be a fight in the first hour with someone as he was not one to go to class. The fight had been pathetic really. It had been three against one. Patrick would have hoped that it would have been a good warmup. That was not to be though. Patrick had finished the fight very, very quickly and in classical fashion he had ended the fight with the crippling of two students and the death of another. At the end of the fight Patrick had declared in his thick Irish accent, "Ye may have fergot but this is what happens when ye mess with me."
After Patrick had gone to the courtyard to where he now sit under a tree. Reflecting once again of the past. He smelled of booze. Not strongly but to a strong nose he would. A nose that would be able to tell that he had been drinking heavily for a long time. Patrick sat there in his usual attire reflecting on his life when he heard someone come up. Without even looking at the person. He said, "Get lost, or I'll blind ye."
He wasn't sure of the person was here for justice for those boys or not but he was fairly sure of that. No one else came for anything but that. Patrick's voice with the accent was full of hate, malice and the slightest bit of dissillusionment...

Connor had been getting good at avoiding. Avoiding people, avoiding his own problems. Well, sort of. His own personal issues were getting to him, and trying to drown them out through meditation wasn't working. He had heard there was a fight not to long ago, and apparently someone had died during it. Great. That's just what was needed in the school. More violence, more death.
Normally, Connor might have been the one to rush in. To want to deliver justice. But, violence only begot more violence. Connor was in the process of trying to avoid that, too. Though at this school, it was hard to do. He didn't know who was at the top, who was to be feared... Connor stayed out of politics. And, as he was still among some of the newer students (having only been here for a few months) he was unaware of the reputation of the boy he was about to meet.
There was a strong smell of alcohol. Well, not to the normal senses. But, to Connor, he could pick it up easily. He followed the trail of the scent to the courtyard. This was the same place where the loss of Gabriel occurred not to long ago. A voice spoke up, just as Connor got, what he assumed, was considered too close.
Connor smiled, as was his nature. It was not a voice he recognized. That was at least a step in the right direction. The accent told Connor that the boy shared at least a similar heritage as his own. However, Connor had lived in America his whole life, and so he was without the same accent.
The comment struck him as kind of funny. "Well, if that is your intention, I'm afraid you're a bit late on that one, friend." Connor faced the boy where he resided, and pointed to his shades. The cane would be a good indication of Connor's condition. "That aside, I would suggest dodging the staff. I doubt they'll be lenient with a student who's drunk on campus."
He wasn't trying to boss the kid around. Just trying to give him friendly advice. Sometimes, it would be more wise to keep your mouth shut and keep walking. As bright as Connor was, sometimes this basic rule eluded him, and he got himself into more trouble than he needed.

"Well, if that is your intention, I'm afraid you're a bit late on that one, friend."
Patrick turned his head to the newcomer. First things first Patrick gave him the once over. To be honest Patrick was unimpressed. The kid seemed weak, physically. He was not too imposing, not at all. Still though Patrick knew that appearances could very well be decieving but he was fairly confident that he was not wrong in his assumptions. Patrick did note, first of all that the kid was blind. The glasses and cane were of course a dead give away. Still though the kid being blind made no difference to Patrick. He would kill him or worse all the same. That disability meant little to him.
"There's still much more that ye can lose though," Patrick said cruelly. To be honest Patrick didn't care what the kid thought of him. As long as he knew that there were very few that Patrick would not do to him. Sure he was blind but Patrick would kill him with out even batting an eye. It would be just another body at the end of hundreds and this death might bring the school even closer to realizing that Patrick was not to be messed with unless you had a death wish. Patrick had a plan that he figured might scare others away from him for a while. A big enough statement of monstrosity that no one would dare mess with him. Although that could go wither way still. Sure he might draw some attention and have a few bigger name fights but he didn't care. Fights were jsut as good as booze if not better. Endorphins. The bodies natural ectsasy. Pain and excersise both realised them to the brain. Good stuff that and fights required full attention and not past reflection. Still though Patrick out of pure viciousness had to add in, "What would happen if I broke yer kneecaps and ye could never walk again? How would ye wheel yerself around with that cane?"
"That aside, I would suggest dodging the staff. I doubt they'll be lenient with a student who's drunk on campus."
"Drunk? No, not yet," Patrick spat. Truly he was completly sober. He had not had a beer since yesterday. Though he may have had one had this kid not shown up. That however was beside the point. Now that the kid was here dishing out advice Patrick had a problem with him, even more so then before. He stood upbefore growling out, "And who are ye to give me advice? Ye a goodytwoshoes? Trying to give me so advice to better myself? Or are ye trying to get in with the Bad crowd to try and get em to change their ways? Pathetic and Naive. Damn idealist your morals have no place here in the world."
Patrick was mad at the kid. The reason? No particular one other then the kid seemed to play the moral idealist. That worsened Patrick's already bad mood. Odd thing was that Patrick was already in a bad mood, a perpatual one. This kid, at least to Patrick, seemed to hold himself on a pedestal. As if he were superior simply because he was blind. Maybe because he figured that he woucl see somethings that everyone else could not, because he was blind. That type of idealism really agnered Patrick but then again with his perpetual bad mood anger was realitve, really. Only varying shades and degrees of anger, malice and hate.

OOC: No worries.
Connor chuckled. The kid took things way to seriously. That, and Connor wasn't impressed with the badass attitude. Connor had been an opponent and rival of one of the most dangerous minds that had ever graced the presence of any school. Connor had been literally nailed to a cross, and had a ring of fire surround him. Break Connor's knee caps? Not likely. Connor had already had enough of this guy. Truthfully, with all the crap he had to deal with up to this point, this kind of student was not exactly someone Connor wished to have to deal with. But, his tone remained lighthearted.
"First off, the advice was to help you keep out of trouble. I don't care if you drink yourself into a coma in or out of school. I just figured I'd give the heads up so you could avoid being disciplined by any of the staff. Tough as you may think you are, I doubt you'd take on the likes of Purple or Orange and walk away with that proud attitude of yours."
"Second, having morals is the only thing that seems to separate anyone in this school. Those who have them, and the rest of the trash that thinks they can and should do whatever they want to those they deem weaker. That's not the bad crowd... that's bullying and cowardice."
"Lastly, as far as breaking my kneecaps... I've had worse than you could imagine. So, save your threats for another." He began to walk away. "Enjoy your solitude." Connor began to walk, his back the the boy. He was fully on guard. Something told him the boy would lash out, if for nothing else than the enjoyment of fighting someone who was weaker. Connor could feel the boy was a bit more than twice his own strength. Not only that, but he might even be faster. However, Connor could read into things, and knew he could at least hold his own. It was not always about strength and speed.
Hey, maybe Connor could just up and walk away. The boy would figure he wasn't worth the effort of standing. That would be nice. (Yeah, like that would happen).

"Proud? To say I have pride is to say that the Grim reaper himself has life," Patrick said with a bit of disdain in his voice. The kid thought that he knew him because he was unafraid to use violence to get his way. Anyone who wasn't condescending to the idea of violence was instantly thought to be a brute. It was demeaning really. Violence had solved more of the worlds problem's then everyother solution combined. To thing other wise was ignorant. No, Patrick was not a brute. He was very inteligent, but he was also a savage. His speech on morals though made Patrick spit at his feet.
"Yer naive to thing that. Morals are none existent. Morals seperate the weak and the strong, ye are right in that. The weak ones are always crying and complaining about morals and their best, the strong ones go home and fuck the prom queen. Ye see it all over the world. Their is no honor or morals, survival, pure and simple. Ye try and fight for your pathetic morals and ye'll be worse then dead. Ye'll be left crushed and broken. Ye little speech can't do a damned thing but so how much ye really don't know," Patrick spat.
He didn't want threats to be wasted on him? Patrick was mildly interested at this point. As annoyed as he was he liked nothing more then breaking people's arrogance. It would be, what's it? Entertaining. Since Patrick was alreading standing he would begin to walk towards him saying, "Threats? I never threaten people. I give em, warnings, suggestions, and promises."
At that Patrick's Final step would be with his left leg. His right fist would come up and tuck into his chin. His left foot was the final preperation was for a left jab to the back of the blind kid's head. Of course as shots to the back of the head tend to do he would be dazed but there was nothing more then again this was just a set up. Patrick meant to get the kid to turn around, then he would unload. Patrick was set up, his left foot leading his right and he was slightly crouched. He was ready for this.
This was going to be fun...

He could feel the vibration. The image was almost crystal clear. That was good. He wouldn't even have to use his Qi. It would appear as if Connor had eyes in the back of his head with this. It was a straight shot to the back of his head. Straight shots were the easiest to avoid. Connor knew it was coming, and at the last second, all he had to do was shift his weight to the right, and lean. The punch would miss, though the boy would get what he wanted. Connor turned around.
With a quick turn and a few steps, Connor put just a bit of distance between them. "So, morals make you week, and mindless violence makes you strong?" Connor grinned. "Wow... thanks for clearing that up. I forgot... honor is a lost cause for most of you." Connor took his stance, keeping his cane in his hand. Not that it would add power, but it would give him reach. "I don't hold myself higher than anyone for my morals. It is a code for me to live by, and me alone."
He prepared for this. This fight would not be easy. Connor could almost see that he would end up in the hospital. But, he would make sure to leave a mark or two on this guy. "It's people like you who drag the world down. Life in chaos... I don't think any of you realize just what that would be." He sized up his opponent. "For instance... I try to help you, not to change you mind. You respond by trying to knock me out. But, I'm the ignorant one."
He shook his head a bit. "You think you know more than I. Well then... what does fighting me prove?" Connor enjoyed a sparing match. He always tried to treat every fight as such. This time, and with all the turmoil in his life right now, that would be difficult. This was not a spar. This was going to be painful.
"You win, or you loose, it changes nothing here. You believe what you wish, and I'll continue my path." Right now, my path is right at you. Without any warning, or signal given, Connor moved swiftly right at his opponent. He would expect a leg shot out, and should that happen, Connor would sidestep it. Any vibration or movement given off at this point would tip Connor off.
He would stop short, and duck down at the last second. Once there, he would lash out with one shot from his left at the boy's midsection, then follow it up with a straight shot directly up at his jaw, standing with the punch to add leverage and power that he lacked otherwise.
Should the shots connect, Connor would prepare for an oncoming attack. His training with Gabriel taught him to always be prepared. If he missed, he would have to play by ear based on Patrick's reaction. Connor was good, but he couldn't read minds.

Honor? Honor was only good for death. Krav Maga being Patrick's first style he knew that better then anyone at the school. Krav Maga was all about survival. There was no honor involve, just survival, plain and simple. It was strange, the kid seem to have two ideas of the conception of morals. Patrick spoke plainly, "Morals? By the way ye describe them then there are two sets, personal and community. It seems that yer morals are vastly different the comunities', more righteous. Ye see, my, personal morals are the same as the communities, survive and enjoy what ye can. Kill or be killed. Ye'd be naive to think other wise."
One last word before it was time to plunge into the fight though, Patrick seemed it fit to give him reasoning for fighting, "Fighting ye? It proves nothing. Absolutley nothing. It's just that I'm bored and want something to do. So I'm going to make life a living hell for ye. Fer my amusement."
And then, it was time for the fight as the kid rushed in. Now Patrick had taken in time to do a bit of analysis for this fight. The kid he was about to destroy was blind and yet he was charging head first into the fight. That meant he was wither stupid or knew how to fight. Patrick was of the opinion that it was the latter. So how did the kid fight without sight? That was a good question seeing as the main sense for fighting was sight. Without that it had to be hearing and touch. Vibrations maybe? Patrick would have to test this, and treat it like a regular fight.
The kid rushed in with his left hand at his midsection. The kid was way, way, too predictable, it was easy for Patrick to see through his attack. That and as a little moniker he picked up over his years of fighting, the first hit never lands. That's why Patrick was a counter fighter. He would rather disect an opponent's attacks and pick them apart if he could.
Patrick would do nothing for the shot to the stomach other then flex his ab muscles to lessen the blow's strength. He would loose no wind. Patrick did this for two reasons, to test a theory and because it looked like the kid couldn't hurt a fly. As the kid was coming in with his left he had crouched down, lowering his head. The punch that was straight would offer no protection to his head. As the kid was coming in with his punch to the stomach Patrick would be throwing a right hook at the kid's head. The kid was blind so Patrick knew he wouldn't see it coming. But there had to be some way that he knew when attacks were coming. So to test one theory Patrick would throw this hook with out any foot work. He would only use abdominal and shoulder torque, which was where the real power of the hook cam from any way so there would be no terrible loss of power.
If Patrick timed this right then it would hit the kid just as the kid was hitting him with his left. Because of the punch that the kid was throwing and his crouched position there would be no defense for Patrick's hook. Still though Patrick had a more particular target for the kid. His hook was aimed even further to the kid's ear. If he was blind it would be devastating to get hit there. A shot to the ear could pop his eardrum or at the very leaast deafen him for a bit, making it so that he had lost another sense. With the power Patrick had he was hoping that that ear was not going be hearing anything, or maybe even floor the kid.
Right now the fight was one of pure blow for blow. The kid would never get his second uppercut as Patrick's hook would throw things off. Patrick would trade the shot to the stomach cor another and with the looks of this kid? He was sure that he would win if they were trading blows...

The boy didn't even try to avoid the first attack. Connor thought that perhaps he had misjudged him. No, that wasn't the case. Connor could feel that he hit something solid. And just as he did, he could feel that the boy had launched his own attack. The vibration was too subtle to detect. It was masked from Connor's own movement. Even if he had, it would have been far too late to defend against. He might have at least adjusted to soften the blow, or changed it's target. But, there was no such luck as of now.
BAM!
Connor's right ear was hit, and Connor went sprawling to the ground. He was in more pain than he had been in a long time. Though his eardrum hadn't been ruptured, he was now temporarily deaf. At least, on that side. Not to mention the excruciating pain that accompanied the blow.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
His hand immediately went to the injured spot. His sense of balance was now thrown off, and he had trouble orienting himself. He got to his knees, then his feet. He also had something else course through him that he had been without for a while.
Fear. This fight was far more dangerous than he thought.
He would have to rely more on his vibration "sight." Unfortunately, his mind was blurred as well. He was slightly dazed. This boy was at least twice as strong as Connor, and he had held little back with that punch. Connor knew he had to do something to at least keep himself in the fight, just to keep himself from getting killed.
His shades were removed, and he activated his Qi. His eyes lost their pale green color, and became white orbs. They held an eerie glow, one he at least hoped would throw his opponent off for a second. If he went hit for hit, he was done for. But, the boy had said he wanted to toy with Connor, make him suffer for his own amusement. He was probably going to get his wish.
Connor only wished he was stronger. He needed that now. At the very least, he could center on his target now. The loss of his one ear would slow things down, but thankfully he was not done for. But, would his Qi help, or just let him see what was coming before he was decimated?
Not good... .not good...
He pulled his hand away, the right side of his head throbbing. He took up his stance. His style was based on countering. He learned really fast that his typical opening didn't confuse everyone. Unfortunately, it was someone with this kind of strength. He tried to think of something, but he was still dazed.
Maybe he'll get bored and find me not worth it?
Yeah... no such luck. He knew he had to have at least a small concussion as well as the loss of hearing. But, he couldn't just bow down. Even if he did, there was no guarantee that it would cause the boy to just leave. No, whoever it was Connor was fighting was enjoying causing pain.
Connor decided he had to act, or he would be beat where he stood. Again, he closed the distance, this time moving to the left. As he shifted, he would run, adding momentum and body weight behind the kick. However, it would come up short. He would drop his right foot down fast, and preform a step-behind side kick, also using his full body weight behind it to add the power he lacked otherwise. The kick was aimed at the boy's kidney. Even if he tightened up, he would feel something if he decided to take the shot again.

"Got ye, ye bastard," Patrick said as he fell to the ground screaming. It went perfectly according to plan. He was as relient on sound to fight as Patrick was on sight. Pity, though, the eyes were a lot harder to lose in a fight then the ears. Patrick however was not about to let his new plaything simple get up and try again. He was here to send a message to the kid.
To the kid and most importantly to the school.
As the kid hit the ground Patrick was already following up. No, we was not going to the ground. That would be too, gracious to the kid, it would say that he saw him as an even opponent. No kid who hit the ground screaming after one hit was no equal opponent to Patrick. He would begin to kick the kid in the ribs. Hard, he intended to hit the kid's ribs make it hard to breath, maybe even break them. He wanted to humiliate the kid before he paraded him around the school.
1-2-3
Patrick would kick the kid three times and then simply tell him, "Ye know how I told ye that I would break yer knees? I lied. It's worse. But not yet."
At that Patrick would kick him once in the gut and lean down to punch him in an ear. The one that was hurt, or the other, ehichever was showing. It didn't really matter...

Connor never had the chance to get to his feet. The boy moved in fast, and three sharp kicks to the ribs was enough to keep him from retaliating. BAM, BAM... SNAP! That last kick cause three of Connor's ribs to break, all on his right side. He felt the boy come close. He spoke, and Connor managed to make out what he said with his good ear. Another kick to his gut winded him. Connor relied sole on vibration for the next attack. Another punch to his already temporary deaf ear caused even more blinding pain. Connor was reduced to a crumpled heap. Even in the midst of all this, even though he didn't have time to react, nor activate his Qi, and even with Patrick beating him down, there was one thing the stronger boy couldn't beat out of him. Connor, in as much pain as he was in, managed a smile. "You can beat on me, but you can't change anything." Connor's inner strength was more than most, and his morals and views didn't falter. Not in the slightest. OOC: Sorry about the delay, and the shortness in post. But, Connor's not in the best of shape to fight back.

OOC: Don't worry about post length dude, if the point is properly conveyed, then it's a good post
Patrick gave a grin when he heard the kid's ribs crack. He knew that the kid was done and could now continue with his plans but he wouldn't. First he would screw with the kid. Toy with him. Let him know who was stronger. It was nothing more then morbid destruction and even in the fun that was about to ensue Patrick knew that he had to be careful not to hurt the kid's legs. He would need those...
"You can beat on me, but you can't change anything."
Patrick then grabbed the kid by the collar of his shirt with his left hand and then pulled him up to eye level.
"I'm tempted to take that offer," Patrick said with a sick smile, and on that thought his mind was sent to a storage container at the docks. There he could beat the blind kid forever. No one would ever see him or hear his screams and even if they did that was no real matter. Patrick had learned a long time ago thet breaking someone did not consist of savage beating after another. That certainly was a fun part of it but no, breaking someone lay directly in the ability to make the victim thing that there was no way out. That those horrible conditions were going to last forever. Even the strongest broke to good torture, eventually. To continue Patrick said, "No, though. I have better plans for ye."
At that Patrick took off the kid's sunglasses with his right hand and delivered a powerful right to the kid's nose. Then he followed up with another right to the kid's left eye and then a final right to his nose again, this time letting him be taken by the punch, letting go of the kid with the force of the last blow.
Patrick would let the kid lie down for a moment as the irish youngman went over to the kid's sunglasses and stepped on them with a crunch, before twisting his foot ever them, grinding them into the dirt. After that Patrick would then walk back over to the kid and kick him in the uninjured side of the ribs and follow up with a stomp as well. He chose the other side of the ribs because well, he didn't want to kill the kid afterall. If the kid died that would defeat the purpose of this. Patrick would then stomp down on his closest hand and grind that too into the dirt. These actions were nothing more then a vicious face grinding into the dirt for Patrick's own enjoyment.
"How do ye feel now, Nice guy?" Patrick would ask. He would let the kid get halfway through whatever answer he had before kicking him in the head, this time to knock him out. Now play time was over, it was time for the serious buisness...

There were times Connor wished his inner strength were outter strength. Then he might have been able to go toe to toe with Patrick. But, such was not the case. Not at all. Connor was picked up, and his face beaten. His nose was now bloodied, and he would most certainly have a black eye. Thankfully, the nose wasn't broken. No, this boy attacking just wanted to make Connor suffer. Why? Well, just because it would seem.
Another kick broke two ribs on his other side. Along with the grinding of Connor's left hand, which was broken thanks to the stomping before being ground like his sunglasses. He was physically broken. But, not mentally or emotionally. Though this was more savage than what Mathew had done to him, much more brutal, it was still a beating. Nothing more.
He asked how Connor felt now. Honestly, he felt like he was dying. He was in more pain than he could ever remember being in. But, he couldn't let Patrick know that. "A little sleepy." Though sleepy was cut off by a kick to the head. Connor had been on his hands and knees a second ago. The kick to the head sent him to the ground, blood from his nose dripping on the dirt. He coughed, and blood had to be spit out as well.
He had no idea what was about to come, but he was afraid. Very much afraid. He was alone, no one would be helping him, and he was left with this monster who had the ability to do with him as he pleased. Connor just prayed it would be over soon. He refused to let the fear reflect in his face. No... he wouldn't give this boy that satisfaction.
He didn't have to worry about that. The kick to the head had knocked him out but good. Whatever Patrick was about to do, Connor wouldn't be awake to know about it.
