"Did you go last night?" "James and Kim are totally not going out again... Right?" "Dude, you got to try this." "Whoa how the hell did you get an A?" Casey had been roaming the school for about half the day, and finally she was sitting. She was going through some of the pictures she took. Sudden;y Casey remembered... Oh crap. I was supposed to get my new schedule for school tomorrow... Well, maybe i can grab it quickly in the morning. She went back to resting, and soon all sorts of colors went though her vision. Sadly not all very appealing though. Casey closed her eyes and leaned her head against the tree she was near. The different colors swirled around each other and new one's can to join. Casey giggled to herself. Finally everything was at peace.

"Uh...you okay?"
David had been watching this girl for the last few moments, being rather unable to concentrate on his homework since lunch began. He was rather interested though, when the female who was now sitting down leaning against a tree. He planned on introducing himself when he approached, however the girl scared him slightly by leaning her head against a tree and giggling in that ever-so-creepy "im-a-dead-little-girl" sort of way. He almost didnt go over to her for the fear of her being a raging lunatic or schitzophrenic, but decided that she was probably new and at the very least he could keep himself on gaurd.
Now he stood just a few feet away, Black slacks and a long sleeved shirt adding to the fact that he just got off of a musical theatre try out, having aimed to play the part of a secondary. He didn't make it, unfortunately, and instead of wallowing in self pity decided to drown his grief into crunching numbers for Calculus. He, as stated before, abandoned that route in favor of approaching this odd young girl, who reminded him, very faintly, of a girl back at two-five-nine...

"Uh...you okay?" Casey could see a mist of white coming through. She opened her eyes, finding there to be a boy a couple of feet away from her. He seemed a bit confused with her, yet very approachable. Casey sat upright, and gave him a warm smile. She looked back down at her camera and said, "Oh yes , yes, I'm quite content. I was looking through some pictures, when i decided to take a small break." She didn't know really how to explain the giddy giggling, so she brushed past that. She had noticed the boy before she sat down on the grass. He had been working hard on his homework and in a state of self pity. For reasons why, Casey could not tell. She got up and kept one hand firmly on her camera. With her other , she brushed off some of the dead leaves and grass that clung to her navy coat and black leggings. "Would you like to walk around for a moment. I'm new and even though I went exploring, I would like to know whats around here. Help?" She gave another quick smile. She hoped she could meet a possible friend and make him loose the damn self pity.

Davids mental state of slight paranoia faded as the girl sat up and spoke, though he didn't let his gaurd down. The girl seemed nice enough but many people seemed nice when they wanted to. He gave her a calm, relaxed smile and let his posture ease a little. A shrug found its way to his shoulders as he spoke.
"Sure, i'd be happy to help."
David was very familiar with these halls, and knew nearly every possible place you could go, from the attic to the boiler room. He always stayed aware of things and kept in mind all the possible places to go. You could never be too careful around here. He looked the girl over, not like he was checking her out, but like he was inspecting her for something.
"You must have just got here- i don't see any injuries." He gave a satisfied smirk. "Thats always a good thing. First rule of Moral Crest- watch your back, because a lot of students will tear you down when your not looking." He turned to walk with her in whichever direction she so chose, continuing to speak as he went, leaving his bookbag and homework on the desk. Nobody would be dumb enough to touch it.
"So, where are you from?"
Might as well start off with the basics to get a feel for this girl.
Who knows, perhaps another friend was in order.

“First rule of Moral Crest- watch your back, because a lot of students will tear you down when you’re not looking." Casey almost laughed again when he said that. She knew what this school was known for, that’s why she came here. Fighting never scared her. Come on she was from Paris, she had to deal with jack asses all the time. A school full of them made no difference. As the boy told her all this though, she nodded and gave the look of thankfulness. "So, where are you from?" “Paris.”
“Man I wish I could get my hands on that bastard." “Do I look alright?” “Pizza is so much better then Chinese food.”
Casey gave a little sigh. She wasn’t in the mood for so many auras at once today. Especially when all of them were so boring. “Hey don’t think I say this in a wrong way, but can you show me a place where not many people go. My head is kind of hurting.” Casey hoped he didn’t think of her question too weird.

David cocked an eyebrow.
Weird.
This girls head hurt so she wanted a place with less people? Hmm...David shrugged, signalling with his finger to follow him inside. On the corner after entering was a stairs, and David began the long climb. After about seven stories, he reached the top, hitting a doorway that popped open easily, leading them out onto the school roof. They were up high enough that the sounds of the school below faded away into nothing, only the calm breeze and an occassional bird chirping. He closed the door behind them, smiling at the silence.
"I come here often to think and to be alone. Almost nobody comes to this roof because its so far away from main campus, and most only pass it on thier way out. I don't mind it though."
He leaned against the wall, thinking silently to himself.
"So, Paris, eh? I have a vaction home there...beutiful city. Where abouts are you from there?"

The way he looked at her, Casey knew she had probably lost hope for a new friend. Surprisingly though, he signaled for her to follow him. She quickly followed him, trying to decide whether or not to go beside him or follow behind him. And if she followed behind him, how close? Or if she went beside him… again how close? Casey decided the best thing was for her to follow just a little bit behind him and about two feet away. She followed him inside a building and traveled up seven stories. After the seven stories though, Casey was lead through a small door, and into the open blue. The rooftop to be exact. Casey stepped out and listened for any stray sounds of the world below. Nothing. This made Casey smile.
"I come here often to think and to be alone. Almost nobody comes to this roof because its so far away from main campus, and most only pass it on their way out. I don't mind it though."
So isolation was his friend to. Wonder why…
"So, Paris, eh? I have a vacation home there...beautiful city. Where abouts are you from there?"
Casey turned around. The whit mist was so nice; such a neutral, peaceful shade. He was leaning against the wall, with a deep in thought look. He was a pretty laid back kind of guy. Well at least he seemed like one. Nowadays everyone seemed to be an actor.
“I don’t really know exactly where I lived in Paris. All I remember was that my home was by a park. It was a pretty park that always had the best flowers. But this all probably sounds stupid to you… So what about you? Where are you from?”
